Eli is amazing!

We were lucky enough to have Eli as our photographer for our wedding day. He is incredible! Great guy, easy to talk to, very accommodating, and definitely knows what he’s doing. All of our engagement photos and wedding photos turned out absolutely beautiful, thanks to him! We got our pictures very quickly two (about a week). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! You won’t regret it! :)

Wonderful Wedding Photographer

Eli is a wonderful wedding photographer. He is friendly and easy to work with from engagement photos to the day of our wedding photos. His great services include driving us around San Francisco to different places for our engagement photos, giving us tips on how to post pictures, fixing my wedding dress on our wedding day for perfect photos, etc. We received our wedding photos in less than a week. We recommend him as a wedding photographer. Thank you Eli!

If I could give Eli more than 5 stars I would- Eli was absolutely incredible to work with and went above and beyond at all times! He did our engagement photo session and wedding day, and our photos came out so beautifully! Eli did not put a time limit on our wedding day- he came at the beginning of us getting ready and stayed until the very end while capturing so many great shots. Not only did he capture some amazing shots but he also is very quick with getting photos back to you- we were not even back from our honeymoon and our photos were already ready to view! Eli is extremely professional, punctual, and an all around nice guy! Highly recommend Eli!

We were introduced to Eli by a family member who had nothing but positive things to say about him and his service. To say the least, he exceeded the high endorsement we had from the beginning. From the outset, Eli worked with us on what we were hoping for to document the day and delivered. Through email, phone calls, and meeting in person, Eli maintained contact with us to insure we got the type of pictures we were hoping for. On the day of, Eli arrived early and stayed late, grabbing shots from different angles near simultaneously. The deep catalogue of pictures we received were clearly shot by a professional’s eye. As our family begins, we intend to continue to work with Eli. We cannot say enough positive things about him and his service. Highly recommended.

Eli is top notch and you can't go wrong with him! My husband and I normally don't even like getting our photos taken, but we loved Eli's photos for our engagement session and wedding. His photos are so vivid and beautiful. He's also a really friendly guy who just puts you at ease. One thing that led me to want him was how flexible and adaptable he is. With all his experience and knowhow, nothing really phases him. It rained on our wedding day but it didn't throw him off at all and he produced gorgeous photos of us. Not to mention, he has amazing, fast turnaround times for the photos. Highly recommended!

My husband and I cannot say thank you enough to Eli! Eli was a recommendation from a friend and after meeting with him for the first time, we knew we had to have him photograph our wedding. His package was ideal for us. We did not want to hire videographer, so we wanted a photographer that could capture our whole day. Eli showed up at my parents' house early in the morning and stayed with us all the way until our exit at the end of the wedding.

Before the wedding, Eli took us out on an engagement photo session. This helped us all get to know each other and he made a beautiful guest book for us to use at our wedding! Neither my husband or I are great at taking pictures, but Eli kept us comfortable the whole time.

At the wedding, Eli captured every detail. He captured all of the special moments without us even realizing he was there. We are having a difficult time selecting which pictures we want to get printed because there are so many great ones. We would absolutely hire Eli again for any of our photography needs!

It has been an immense pleasure having Eli as our photographer for the wedding. He is professional, approachable, and extremely hard working. I cannot rave enough about how talented Eli is and what a joy it was to work with him. He far exceeded our expectations and made the day so much fun. The pictures were breathtaking and some of my favorite pictures were the ones where Eli encouraged us to be playful. Our wedding was at Wente and he knew the best "nooks and crannies" for the best pictures.

If you want to hire someone that you can entrust to take the pictures you didn't even know you wanted, you need to work with Eli!

I am so happy we chose to have Eli capture our special day. He takes amazing photos and you hardly even know he is there. He was very easy to work with and happy to answer all of my questions. Plus he is super quick with getting your photos back to you. He got our photos online within a week after the wedding and on a flash drive for us a week after that.

Eli was absolutely amazing! I recently used Eli for my wedding on October 22, 2016 at Murrieta's Well. He was extremely professional, though the entire experience. I cannot say enough about the amazing experience my husband and I had with Eli as our photographer for our wedding. He is professional, flexible, fun, and personable. We did an engagement shoot with him (included in the wedding fee) in San Francisco and it was one of the most fun days that my husband and I had leading up to our wedding. Those pictures turned out wonderfully and Eli made them into a guest book for our wedding day. Our guests are still talking about how amazing that book turned out. I know that we will treasure it for years to come. Before the wedding Eli went to scout out the wedding event space and surrounding areas so he would know exactly where to take my husband and I for portraits. On our wedding day Eli was there bright and early to take pictures of the venue, event space, and the "getting ready" scenes. He was unobtrusive but caught many of the intimate moments that I was hoping to capture. Eli is truly present with the bride and groom and makes you (and everyone else) feel comfortable the entire day. He pinned boutonnieres and even helped to bustle my dress all while making sure every sweet, funny, and important moment was photographed. As other reviewers have stated, he is present and EVERYWHERE while not being noticed by many. My family keeps asking how he was able to capture so many moments when they don't ever remember him being nearby - exactly what we wanted!

We received our pictures THREE days after our wedding and were able to view them online. Shortly after that we received a book of proofs that is really handy to look at when you don't want to keep referring to the online album. And there are TONS of pictures. I don't know how we are ever going to pick our favorites, but I love having so many to choose from.

In short: Eli is the best photographer for a wedding or event. For a very good price you get all the benefits of a professional, experienced, excellent photographer. You will not be disappointed.

There are too many ways to describe what an amazing job Eli did for our wedding! We just received our pictures online today, two days after our wedding, and the pictures are phenomenal! Eli was fabulous to work with, from start to finish. He was responsive during the planning and coordinating, and definitely eased our minds when he knew exactly the type of photographs he was going to take, in what order, and already had a timeline in place--two weeks before the wedding! Perfect planning and coordination. Then, the weather was questionable day of our wedding and he had a back-up in place just in case it was raining. Throughout the group shots, he would direct people to the proper poses and we were able to get our group shots done with enough time to get our couple shots done before the wedding (the sun was setting almost immediately after our ceremony so we had to get our pictures taken before the ceremony). Eli was wonderful to work with during our pictures--he knew exactly what shots to get and gave us the perfect feedback so we could get the best shots. Lastly, during our ceremony and reception, he was getting the perfect shots, capturing all the best moments, while not interfering with any of the guests. Eli was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would HIGHLY recommend him!

5 starts doesn't do Eli justice. He is professional, fun and is literally EVERYWHERE, during the day without you noticing. My husband hates taking pictures so while we were looking for a photographer, we decided we needed three things. 1. That we'd get great pictures (obviously). 2. That since we weren't getting a videographer, we wanted the pictures to tell the story of the day as it happened. And 3. That we would have no idea where he was while taking pictures so we'd get the truest pictures for the day.

With Eli, we got all three. While we got formal pictures of the families and groups, we also got truly wonderful candid shots that I'm confident wouldn't have been possible if he'd been in front of people trying to capture them. He was everywhere at once, capturing every moment throughout the day, and no one knew until we got the pictures back.
We didn't need engagement pictures, so Eli came to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner instead. A seriously fantastic idea... if you don't do engagement shots (or win an hour or photography at a raffle like we did and don't need them...), this is a great alternative that Eli offered for us. This way, we didn't have to worry about taking pictures ourselves, or making sure someone else had to worry about it and didn't enjoy themselves. Eli could stealthily run around taking pictures of everything for us, and everyone could enjoy themselves all evening and the following day. On the day of the wedding, he showed up in the morning while we were doing hair and makeup in the hotel. He then met us at the venue (warning us of traffic before we left) and took even more pictures. He was there all day long. He listened to the requests for the few pictures I knew I wanted, and I gave him artistic license otherwise. I was not disappointed. We got thousands of pictures and a book with all of them. We also got our pictures less than two weeks after our wedding. Two weeks!!

A definite 5 out of 5 - I would have rated higher if I could! Eli was amazing, he captured our wedding day beautifully. He was friendly, professional, experienced and had all the top notch equipment. The day was a whirl wind and absolutely flew past so it was such a treat to receive the photos from Eli a few days later and relive all the wonderful moments. Eli professionally and gracefully captured all of the special moments during our engagement, wedding and reception. His photographs were absolutely beautiful! My fiancé and I knew Eli from working with him over the years at Wente Vineyards. He was a no brainer choice when deciding who to select as our photographer for our big day. Eli took us to Napa for our engagement shoot and made us feel so comfortable, made us laugh, and took some amazing pictures for us. He then turned our photos into an awesome guest book for people to sign at our wedding.

I had quite a few props that I wanted to use (thanks Pinterest!) during both the engagement and wedding shoots, and Eli was accommodating, patient and helped me get the photos that I wanted. He has an eye for dramatic shots and uses lots of natural landscape and various angles to capture amazing photos!

Though there never seems like there is enough time for photos on your wedding day, Eli helped us stay on track and captured the photos we so desired. I would recommend him time and time again!

Eli is truly the best photographer! Eli is professional, responsive, and talented. My (now) husband and I contacted Eli to take photos at our wedding based on his photography skills but what we gained in the long run was so much more. From the moment we contacted him, we could not have been more pleased with his kind nature, professionalism, and responsiveness. Initially, we scheduled a meeting to discuss a photography contract and which package we desired. Ultimately, we decided to have the full package (the value and price are unbeatable by any other photographer) which included an engagement photo shoot, wedding photos, all digital images of both engagement and wedding, a guest book with our engagement photos and a wedding proof book of all images. Besides the photo quality of pure spectacular images - we received our photos within 2 weeks of both engagement and wedding. Eli was so great and I lived working with him! You get a free engagement session in your package which not a lot photographers include. Plus he makes a guest book with the engagement pictures that your family and friends can write personal messages in. It's a special touch to an already special day. He is friendly and was always keeping everyone laughing and he even gave a us a great place to visit while on our honeymoon and it was the best part of the trip!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Eli. The photos he took were amazing. It was above and beyond what we had even expected. We loved that he took charge when we had no idea what we were doing (which was often) but was also happy to engage our every whim when we had silly ideas for photos. He was there with us from start to finish--unlike a lot of photographers that give a very specific time frame. We really valued his attitude that every moment was important.

Eli Pitta is the best! He did a few of my friends weddings and I knew early on that he would be a great fit for me and my husband. My husband is not a "photo" kind of guy, and Eli made things so easy and relaxed. He went to each location/venue ahead of time to scope things out and was very prepared with a plan. Can't say enough about Eli! Brian and I were engaged and decided to get married in a couple of months. Planning a nice, 100+ people wedding in 2 months was a challenge but it makes a HUGE difference when the people that you are working with make it easy for you. That is definitely Eli!

The very first conversation I had with him, Eli was on top of things. Giving me an idea of how things were going to look on that day - schedule, pictures normally taken, and his visions. It put me at ease knowing he had so much experience. He wanted to meet as we got closer to the wedding to hear about our thoughts and ideas as well.

I provided a list of pictures we were going to need of our family members. When Brian and I met with him, we went over that list. We talked about a whole bunch of things! His ideas, our ideas. He even gave us Maui travelling tips! :)

The day of the wedding, he was on it! My family is so complicated having divorced parents but Eli made it all happen without any drama or even concerns. He was always happy, helpful, patient, and taking care of all our requests. Another great thing was that he was never in the way. He got all those amazing shots without ever taking away from our wedding. Not once did he get in the way of our family and friends enjoying those special moments, the kiss, the rings. We've seen those photographers at weddings that are in every one of our shots -- definitely not Eli! He even took pictures from a bird's eye view!

We went to Maui, he was the only person we called on our honeymoon! We had to say 'hi' when we were out there visiting his friend Lorraine (by the way, she makes the best coconut chips in Maui).

Our pictures were ready for us to view in one week! Everyone around us is so surprised on how fast we got them :) The pictures are amazing! He knew how to work with the lighting for our morning wedding, indoors, and early evening photo shoot.

I have been meaning to write Eli a fantastic review for several months. What can I say? Eli's work is just stunning. He photographed our intimate wedding in Napa Valley at the end of April, and was incredible to work with from start to finish. He is extremely professional and really knows his stuff, and is a cool cat to boot. Throughout the wedding he was unobtrusive, to the point where you did not realize he was even there taking photos. The photos he took are stunning, even without retouching. Although Eli gives you a jump drive with all your photos so that you can go and have them printed yourself if you want, I have asked Eli to retouch a few and blow them up into prints for me - sure enough, he did a fantastic job.

Additionally, Eli is a stand up guy. My husband and I live in NYC and, due to work commitments, were unable to get out to California ahead of the wedding to take engagement shots, which are part of Eli's package. Eli graciously agreed to come back up to wine country a few days after the wedding so we could take some casual, post-wedding photos. Those also came out beautifully, and I have plans to print some of those as well. After the session, he then treated us to dinner! Just a fabulous, fabulous person. The icing on the cake is that, while you never want to skimp on photography because it is the one thing from your wedding that lasts, Eli's pricing is also very reasonable for the quality of photos he provides. We were pretty sure after our first meeting with Eli at his office that he would be a good fit for our wedding. Some months later we had our engagement photo shoot in San Francisco ~ we were both a little nervous and not sure what to expect. From the moment we started Eli was so confident and sure of himself and his vision that we couldn't help but feel comfortable almost immediately. Soon we were laughing and having a ball! Eli made it seem like the most natural thing in the world and our joy that day can be seen in every amazing photo he took. When we saw our Photo Guest Book we were blown away with how good we looked!! Our wedding day was even better ~ having Eli around while I was getting ready was effortless. He was unobtrusive yet managed to take so many fantastic photographs. I mentioned a few particular shots I wanted and he was great about listening to our desires and making it happen. Eli really captured the spirit of our wedding which was keeping it personal and FUN! We have spent so much time looking over the photos and re-living our amazing day which, thanks to Eli's hard work, had been forever captured for us to enjoy the rest of our lives. Thank you Eli!! I can't imagine having any other photographer around for any of life's important events that should be captured. We hope you and the Mrs. have a nice dinner at Bix!!!

ELI IS QUICK AND VERY RESPONSIVE  ...
We have now been married for a less than a month, and our family has seen all of the wedding images that Eli has provided for us. How often do couples get to say that? I was assuming it would be at least a few months before my wife and I would be able to see any wedding photos, but within two weeks, we were able to view our secure, full resolution images. Later that same week, arrived all of our wedding proofs in the mail. 
ELI IS AWESOME!!
The day with Eli went by so smoothly, the entire wedding party had a great time with him. Besides producing great work, he brings great energy and enthusiasm to the event, and has great people skills. Our wedding party commented on how fun he was to work with. We knew Eli would fit perfect with our event as we were able to share some of the plans with him during our engagement photo session.  Eli’s work is great, but I'm not going to waste any more time on that since you can just check out his work for yourself to experience what I am referring to. The things you wont notice from the website is how hard he works to get the right shot, from the best angle, with the most interesting compositions. Looking at our photos, it was obvious that Eli had all photo angles covered and the shots were diverse throughout the wedding. This makes it a lot more fun and interesting to look back on the photos afterwards.
WE GET ALL COPYRIGHTS AND THE DIGITALS:
  I want to clarify that Eli gave us all the digital images for no additional charge beyond the package price we had agreed on. They were all full resolution, post-processed jpegs and they had NO WATERMARK on them. We feel like we got a great value for our money by booking Eli for our two-part engagement shoot and our wedding. Eli was a pleasure to work with, and is a shining example of professionalism and dedication to overall customer satisfaction. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Eli did a fabulous job as my wedding photographer! He was seamless in working our mid-may wedding at wente vineyards. he has such a great working relationship with wente that they give him extra privileges such as using a golf cart to drive to the vineyards for pictures at sunset, and standing up on the restaurant wall to take aerial shots of the entire wedding.

He caught a lot of sweet moments from our wedding and was not obtrusive to guests, but quiet and hardly noticeable.

Eli was the photographer for my nieces wedding. He is amazing. He was wonderful to work with and his photos speak for themself. Just beautiful. Thank you Eli for making my nieces wedding day that much better. I would highly recommend Eli.

Eli was a fantastic photographer for our wedding. He helped reduced stress and was fun to have around during the event. His pictures were amazing. Eli is amazing! We originally had scheduled our wedding for March, however; due to my brother's cancer prognosis we had to move up our wedding date. When we told Eli our situation, he reassured us that he woud be there to photograph our special day. I'm grateful for his flexibility as a photographer.

I loved having Eli there from the start of the wedding day to the end. He showed up bright and early and didn't leave until the party was over at night. He has such a calming presence and good-hearted friendly nature. As a bride, I was so thankful to have had him there as it seemed as if I had a really good friend beside me capturing the moments.

As for the photo quality, Eli did an excellent job in telling the story of our wedding day. We got married in a downpour and I was worried that the photos may not come out as well. Yet with Eli's experience, he photographed us well in crazy weather conditions and also in a church that can be tricky lighting-wise for less experienced photographers.

For those that are budget conscious, Eli is also willing and flexible to work with you. When I researched other photographers, I saw that Eli had the best value and outstanding photos comparatively.

I highly recommend having Eli as your photographer. My husband and I are incredibly glad we had him there with us that day. We can't wait to take our newlywed photos with him!

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Eli.
He shot our September 30th wedding at Wente in Livermore, and he did an amazing job. He had everything planned out perfectly so we just had to go where he told us and not worry about anything. On top of that, he seems to love his job. We had a blast getting to know him, and he really cared about making sure he got everything we could possibly want. Eli is a rare find and a calming voice in the chaos of a wedding day.
Along with the wedding, he also shot our engagement photos in Tahoe, which he had no problem traveling for. We hit 5 or 6 different spots around North Shore, which included some hiking, and he seemed excited to do it all. Those pictures were also fantastic, and a great value considering it was all included in his price tag.
Photos were back to us within a week, and he encouraged us to develop the images at a cheaper store rather than ordering them through his website. Throughout the experience, it was clear that he does this job because he loves it, not because he wants to make money off of you.
Eli was the perfect wedding photographer for us, and we will be recommending him to all our friends in the area.

Absolutely LOVED working with Eli!!!!! I am so glad that we chose to have Eli as our photographer. From start to finish he was so professional and patient with us. He knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding pictures. All of the pictures that he took for our wedding day were simply beautiful. With the package, he also included an engagement photo session. Those pictures came out beautiful too! On our wedding day, we had a little bit of an issue with the florist, and I was in tears before the ceremony. He helped to calm me down and took the most amazing pictures! We have so many pictures of the ceremony and reception, and I am so happy as these will help me remember our special day for a very long time. I received so many compliments of our photos too. We have alot of friends that enjoy photography at our wedding...they were simply amazed at how Eli worked through the night. Because of Eli, I have the perfect photo-journal of my wedding day, from beginning of the day till end of night.

After meeting a number of photographers prior to Eli, we were a bit overwhelmed. We were specifically looking for a person to shoot us 'photojournalistic' style, and not someone who simply wanted to shoot the same 15 poses.

Eli impressed us from the start. Walking into his storefront, you can immediately see his talent in the massively impressive shots that line his walls. Eli greeted us warmly, listened to what we wanted, suggested a few additional options (NOT upsold us, just simply said 'have you thought about this..?"), and we were hooked.

Logisitics-wise, he was incredibly easy to deal with. We signed a contract, he took a credit card number, and we began setting the schedule for the engagement shots, the run-through prior to the day, and the wedding day. Throughout the entire process, Eli was patient, understanding, and most of all allowed us to set the tone. It also didnt hurt that Eli was the only photographer we met who (a) didnt have a set number of hours he shoots (I get there when needed, and leave when you're done with the night and (b) truly offered a great value for the money, as engagement shots, proofs, wedding day shots, proofs, and guestbook are all included for a price that was WELL lower than most of his competitors.

this site doesn't allow me enough space to talk about how good he was on the day of teh wedding, but i can tell you that Eli not only took pictures, but was the calming influence when the florist showed up with the wrong bouquets, as well as showed us how to cut the cake the correct way!

I cannot recommend Eli any higher. His work is above fantastic, his communication is superior, and he is plain just a great guy.

We hired Eli Pitta for our April 29th wedding and recommend him high for any couple looking for a great photographer. He is truly an easy going, funny individual who makes one feel comfortable and relaxed. Having a high comfort level with our photographer was very important for both my wife and I so it was such a relief when after our initial meeting with Eli everything just clicked and we knew we had found our guy.

Besides his personality, Eli really brings a great eye and level of skill to his work. Some of his pictures from our wedding were absolutely incredible and showed his unique instinct for capturing the moment. For example he had talked to us about taking some pictures during sunset in addition to the normal set taken right after the ceremony. Sure enough when the time came he grabbed us from the reception and led us out to a beautiful spot on a hill above our venue and took some awesome shots. In this situation it was great having a photographer who had planned this out, and even though it required us to spend a little bit more time away from guests it was highly worth it. Looking over other pictures from that day we saw how Eli mingled with the guests and really captured some fun and meaningful moments – both those we were part of and those we missed.

We ended up purchasing a full day package from Eli after figuring that it really wasn’t much more expensive than hiring him for 5 hours (our original plan). Originally we didn’t think that capturing our preparations before the ceremony would be that interesting but it was so cool to see all the shots that Eli took. I know my wife especially cherishes the shots of her getting ready with her bridesmaids.

It didn’t take Eli very long to get our pictures online for us to view and share with friends & family. Within a few weeks he had already provided us with a DVD of files along with a proof book at no extra charge. Unlike some other photographers, Eli’s rate covers his work as a photographer plus providing you with whatever is needed to develop your own pictures. He doesn’t feel the need to prevent his clients from going elsewhere to print pictures or have albums created. Eli’s rates are very reasonable compared with some of the other photographers we researched and after seeing his work we really feel that we got a great deal. Definitely check him out.

We hired Eli as our wedding photographer, and are thrilled with our decision! We highly recommend him to anyone in the market for a professional photographer.

Our first interactions with Eli were at a consultation session, where we were impressed by his professional demeanor, his understanding of photography, and just how comfortable he made us feel right away. He emphasized the care with which he processes and preserves wedding photographs, and he made it clear that he generally tries to “stay out of the way” and take candid shots, which is just what we wanted. He made it clear that his fee was for shooting the entire wedding day, not just a certain number of hours, because he’s dedicated to capturing every part of the day. And to cap it all off, the wedding package we chose included a full engagement session in San Francisco, which we were excited about as well. After interviewing a couple of other photographers, we decided Eli was just what we wanted.

Our engagement session was a blast and we shot photos all over San Francisco. Eli is really good at making people feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is really important! He took his time at our session, spending all morning with us. When we got the images back we were thrilled and so excited to have him shooting our wedding.

Fast forward to a few weeks before the wedding when we met with Eli for a final/planning consultation session. Without us even asking, he offered to come to our home (on the other side of the Bay from where he lives) to meet, making things much more convenient for us at what was an extremely busy time in the wedding planning process. He asked all the right questions, made sure he knew exactly what we wanted on the big day, and headed on his way.

On the wedding day itself, Eli did a fantastic job. He showed up early to take “getting ready photos”, and stayed until the very end of the reception. It seemed he was everywhere at once, taking pictures of the bride and groom, parents, guests, etc. It never once felt like he was invading our space, rather, he was a welcome part of our celebration. When we got our photos back we were thrilled to see the images he had captured. We are still amazed at the moments he caught, it seems impossible that one person could have gotten so many perspectives of the same event. Moreover, Eli got our photos to us four DAYS after our wedding while we were still on our honeymoon. You will find very few photographers who can take such high quality photos and turn them around so quickly!

Eli Pita is a true professional committed to providing very high quality service, and you can tell he loves his work. His photographs are wonderful, his personality is friendly and calming, he is lightening fast with his turnaround times, and his rates are very competitive. We highly recommend that anyone consider him for their photography needs.

In each of my wedding photos, Eli's work captured the priceless emotions of my guests. His photos are even more beautiful on the spot rather than formal photography. There was this beautiful photo he took of my flower girls from front, which you would expect, BUT THEN --- ON THE SPOT --- he turned around real fast and switched camera gear --- and then took this very incredible, amazing photograph of the flower girls from behind as if it was the little girl's point of view with a surreal camera light setting --- then this photo came out beautiful --- and I swear this photo needs to win an award.

I am sure other photographers would just take a beautiful photo with nice light and composition. Eli can do that too, but he is different from others because 1. his natural reflexes to the wedding scene are superior and 2. he captures moments that no one else would ever see.

In other words, Eli is not only an excellent creative photographer, but his intuition is artistic and uncanny.

On top of everything, many of my guests, when I showed them Eli's photos, were delighted of course with the product. One guest even commented you couldn't even tell Eli was there. Eli blended well with the wedding ambiance and his photography was like a spiritual art.

My husband and I took engagement photos with him earlier this year too. They were fantastic.

Trust me, I know good art when I see it. I have a design background and formal design training from UC Berkeley and graduated at the top of my class for design. So I can be a real perfectionist and very hard to please. So it is really something that Eli impressed me with his photos. I know, one hundred percent, he will impress you.

Eli was my engagement/wedding photographer and he did an AMAZING job. I can't say enough about the quality of his work, and the amount of time and effort he spent making sure we had all the shots we wanted.

Eli was recommended to me by my friend who had used him for her wedding. It was really important to me to find a photographer who made my fiance (now husband!) comfortable. We both knew we wanted shots that really showed our personality, and weren't cheesy. About ten minutes after meeting with Eli, I knew he was our guy.

When I talked about ideas for where we would do our engagement shots, I explained to him we weren't really the country, pick-up trucks, posing in the field type people. We're more like, have a beer at an old-school bar type couple, he loved the idea of shooting in the city at the Buena Vista (where we had irish coffees right before the hubbie proposed). The actual engagement shoot was great - Eli instantly bonded with my fiance and made him feel very comfortable (which is saying a lot, because he can't stand posing for pics). Needless to say, the pictures came out fantastic...we look like ourselves, just having a fun time hanging out on a date together.

Eli was very helpful during the wedding planning process. He let me know how long it would take to shoot the bridal party pics/family pics/etc. I should also mention that I am a little OCD when it comes to being organized. I had a shot list with all the pictures important to me, and Eli captured EVERY single one. He even drove from Pleasanton over to Tiburon (where our wedding was) twice to scout out the best locations for pictures.

He came to my rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, for approximately 5 hours. The next day, he was there for all the "getting ready" shots at 7:30am...and stayed until about 10pm that night. He made all the guys laugh, and the girls feel gorgeous. At the ceremony and reception, he was very unobtrusive, and I didn't even notice my picture being taken.

Oh, and did I mention that I got my wedding pictures back THREE days after the wedding?! One of my favorite moments of my honeymoon was checking out all of our pictures with the hubbie on Eli's website while drinking margaritas on our balcony. :)

Where to even start? I feel that I do not have enough/ and or the right words to truly capture what an amazing photographer Eli is.

I had a friend getting married a little over a month before me and recommended Eli. I decided to give him a shot as I had contacted a few vendors prior but had not come across his name. He made a great first impression by contacting me literally 5 minutes after submitting a request online! He was more than willing to work with us and was accommodating to our needs. He kept in great contact throughout the whole process which was very reassuring...very prompt with emails and texts!

When we went out to meet him for the first time, my husband and I knew within minutes that he was our guy. Eli is very professional, kind, caring, and easy going. He told us to take our time and check out other photographers...no pressure at all to go with his services. We walked out, got in the car, looked at each other and said "He is it!" We then walked right back in and told him because we could not imagine anyone else shooting our special day!

The day of, I did not worry one bit. Eli was there when he said he would be and the first question out of his mouth was "How are you feeling?" Eli always took the time even during our meetings to really know us and see how we were. It was not all about the services which is a part about him that I admire. Meeting with him the couple days before was such a treat because his calm disposition put me at ease and I was able to take a deep breath.

Eli was AMAZING at the wedding. Again, I did not have to worry one bit because we had discussed details prior and he captured everything we were looking for plus more. He got so much of the decor that I completely missed seeing! He was more than professional with our guests. And really I didn't know he was even around. His style of "behind of scenes" yet he is really right there makes his talent soar above all others.

He left our wedding after working two prior to ours, yet still provided us with our images online within less than a week. We told him to take his time, but again his energy and passion for photography and his clients pops up everywhere and clearly he works really hard. I am in love with every picture! Looking at everything brings me right back to the day. I keep going back and forth between smiling and crying because he definitely captured every single important/touching moment whether big or small!

We will never forget our special day thanks to Eli's extraordinary photographs. He is truly one of a kind and we would not have thought twice about going with anybody else! If you are in need of a photographer, check Eli out! We promise you won't be disappointed. Eli was the first photographer with whom I met, and he told me that I should meet with other photographers even though I told him I liked his work; he also gave me a list of questions to ask other photographers to compare their work to his. I knew then that I would hire him, and I'm so glad I did. Eli maintained consistent communication with me and always responded quickly to my calls and e-mails. He asked for location requests for our engagement session, and he researched my requests to let me know which would work well. My then-fiance and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with him during the engagement session, and it made me feel that he understood our style and what we wanted for our wedding. On our wedding day, Eli was with me from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. He and his assistant took wonderful candids while my attendants and I were getting ready, and they were never in the way. They worked very efficiently to take posed photos before and during the wedding so that our families and guests weren't kept waiting. Eli e-mailed me the images four days after the wedding. I am very happy with my experience working with Eli, and I would recommend him to any couple looking for a wedding photographer.

Eli is the best of the best! We had him take our engagement and wedding photos. He made the whole thing completely amazing! My husband did not want to take our engagement photos but he finally agreed and Eli made it so much fun for him he still talks about what a great time we had, not to mention the AMAZING pictures we received. Eli was so cool to work with at our wedding I'm not really a picture person but Eli made me feel at ease with having pictures taken.

The other thing that was amazing was his ability to take pictures and to fade into the background. I had to make an effort to find him at our wedding when he was snapping shots. I have been to way too many events where photographers are in peoples faces or in the way. That is so not how Eli works! My husband calls him the Ninja photographer.

Eli will be our photographer for life even if we have to travel to see him!

Oh and one more thing everyone one of the vendors we had totally freaked out every time we said his name. I can't tell you how many times I heard "You got Eli!!?? I love working with Eli! He is the best!"

I have the highest recommendation for Eli Photographer. We used him for a very large wedding in San Francisco and he could not have captured the evening more beautifully. The photos were not only extrememly beautiful and artistic, but he was somehow able to capture the entire mood of the event. The wedding was very large, as was the venue, however somehow, they were able to cover the entire event without missing one person or one emotion. I have photos of people during the speeches with priceless expressions on their faces. Since the wedding was so big, it was nice to be ablet o look back and have photos of people or expressions that I might have missed. I have received countless complements on the photos we have around our house. Additionally, Eli and his team were extremely professional and accomodating. during the wedding they were extremely discrete. They were also very willing to take the pictures that we were particularly interested in and did not force us to take photos that were not our style. Not only do I feel extremely lucky, but we also feel very privilaged to have had Eli capture our weding day. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Eli was incredibly easy to work with, had a lot of great ideas and really utilized different aspects of our venue for gorgeous pictures! He gave me every picture I asked for on my shot list and so many more pictures I never would have thought to ask for. We have so many amazing shots from our wedding that we've found it almost impossible to decide which ones we want in our album! We HIGHLY recommend him!

We are so glad that we chose Eli to be part of our wedding day! From the very first meeting with him, we felt comfortable and knew that we were in good hands. In fact, Eli was the first person that we met with, and after emailing with others, we chose to go with him. It was the best decision ever! We had such a fantastic time chatting with Eli during our engagement session and walking through San Francisco. Our guestbook arrived in time and without any hassle.

On our wedding day, Eli was on time and started shooting right away. We barely knew that he was there while we were getting ready, but from the images that we received, he was everywhere! He only took a small break during our wedding day to eat, and was completely professional.

We chose Eli because of his experience, his portfolio, his pricing and because he does not have a time limit on the wedding day. However, we got all that and much more. He is such a great guy, and a fantastic photographer!

What I valued most about having Eli as our wedding photographer was his attitude and behavior at our wedding in the Bay Area August 2010. Eli was professional without being arrogant or demanding. He was fun without being obnoxious or self-absorbed. He has an ability to anticipate needs and work with different personalities and contribute to the atmosphere in a very positive way. My parents actually don't speak English and he was very good with them. He was very kind without patronizing them and I really appreciate that.

It's a really nice balance. He helped everyone feel very comfortable and relaxed while managing to get everyone to do what he needed for nice pictures! I think there's a lot going on at weddings and I have heard one too many horror stories about expensive photographers that are unprofessional, arrogant, unresponsive...or all of the above! Eli is really down to earth, responsive, and reliable. The pictures were beautiful and for everything we got, it was an incredibly reasonable price.

Of all the vendors we worked with for our wedding, Eli, from Eli Photography wins the award for most magnificent wedding vendor, EVER!

My fiancée and I had an agreement that we would not book any of our vendors until we slept on it. However, as soon as we left Eli’s studio, we knew he was the photographer for us.

Eli offers the best package for unlimited hours, (he selflessly commits for the entire day of the wedding from early morning until it’s over) engagement shoot, photo guest sign-in book, proof album, and leather album.

Regarding the process leading up to our wedding date, we noted that Eli was responsive to emails, and uploaded pictures to his website in timely fashion. Our engagement shoot felt like a romantic date. Unlike any of our other vendors, we met with Eli three times prior to the wedding, the initial meeting, the engagement shoot, and then coffee to discuss the flow of the wedding day. EVERYTHING turned out great, and all of our guests loved him. We had no issues being rushed; the process moved seamlessly and smoothly. Eli’s experience and confidence made us feel confident, we were grateful that he knew exactly what to do and when to do it.

Why Eli isn’t booked years in advance is beyond us. We both felt like we had a friend at the wedding. I even had a chance to eat a piece of cake together with him during the whirlwind day. Upon reviewing the wedding pictures, we were surprised that some pictures seemed impossible to capture. Eli really photographed the day as it happened. Unlike some other weddings I’ve been to, I was thankful that that we weren’t forced into fake poses, that so many pictures captured the natural joyous essence of our special day.

Brides, this is the best photographer you can ask for, call and book your date. Eli knows this is your special day. Eli’s very professional, it’s clear to us that he is passionate about his work. Eli’s fun yet professional demeanor made the whole process fun-filled and not like a task to be completed at all.

From our engagement session to sharing a cocktail after the wedding was all done, he was fantastic! His work is professional and classy. He is SO easy to work with and completely on top of his game (and his prices are beyond fair!)

Eli was the most wonderful photographer a bride could ask for! He truly loves what he does and takes great pride in his work! He was with us from the hair appointments at 10am, through makeup, and into the evening! He even knew the exact moment to steal my husband and I away to a special location at the venue to shoot some amazing pictures in the sun set lighting! On a personal level Eli is so easy to work with, he puts you at ease (which is sometimes hard for the bride!), is amazingly friendly, organized, knowledgeable and just a fantastic guy! Plus we got all our proofs only a week after the wedding! I wouldnt look any further if you want a wonderful photographer for you wedding!

I can't say enough great things about Eli Photographer. He is an awesome, creative, personable, genuine and caring person and it shows in his work! He was very flexible in accommodating with our busy schedules for our engagement pictures and our wedding. Our engagement pictures were fantastic, and my husband had never taken professional pictures before, but with Eli he felt at ease and throughly enjoyed himself throughout the entire session, he actually wanted to take extra pictures with different types of scenery. Our pictures were taken in the most hidden and beautiful places in San Francisco. And the turn around time to get them back was 4 days!!! He also created an awesome guest book from 30 pictures we selected. It was a huge hit at the reception and we love as a center piece on our coffee table for everyone to see!!

For the wedding again, Eli was very accommodating with our schedule because our groomsmen were late, I didn't give him the correct address and I didn't give him a pass to get to the back of the church. But he was on time and right there when we needed him. And he was very patient with our bridal party. Dealing with 16 drunk bridesmaids and groomsmen, I don't know how our pictures turned out so great. He captured all of the of the fun and love that was shared throughout the day. From the posed pictures to the candid shots our pictures told a story from beginning to end and it captivated all of the joy and love I felt for the entire day!!

What an awesome photographer and an awesome person!! Eli will put all of your worries and concerns about wedding mishaps at ease and he will be there to capture all of the love and joy throughout your special day!! He is truely that wonderful!!

Eli was wonderful! He was always prompt with communication. His package prices were very reasonable and can fit any wedding budget. They day of the wedding was great. He captured so many great moments and allowed us to enjoy our wedding and not be gone taking pictures the whole time. Our family and wedding party really enjoyed him as well. The pictures turned out great and we were able to see the proofs two weeks after the wedding. We will definately use him again for any formal pictures we need!

Eli is a extremely terrific photographer - not to mention person in general. He helped make our wedding day truly special. Any time we needed to speak to Eli he was available or got back to me in sufficiant time. Very professional and patient when taking your photos. Worked well with our large famillies. Eli always knew where to be and at what time throughout the whole wedding. His photography is absolutly beautiful! The detail and time that he takes with you is incredible. Our photo albums from the wedding are the best that we have ever seen, if we do say so ourselves! Really though, friends and family can't stop awwing over the detail in both the photography and the way he set our magazine style albums up. Absolutely amazing! Eli is like family now. We have him do our christmas family photos and he also has done my husband's daughters senior portraits. We will always ask Eli to take any photos that we need. Some of our family members are going to switch photographers now also, for their future family portraits. Eli is the best and I would recommend him to anyone who is getting married. I am 110% satisfied with Eli Pitta. Eli is the best photographer in the bay area. My husband and I met with quite a few photographers before someone recommended Eli and as soon as we met him we both agreed that he was what we were looking for. We didn't even have to go home and discuss it, we walked to the car realized that we wanted to book him and walked back in.

He is so nice, relaxed, makes you feel comfortable and has fun creating new picture ideas. You can tell he enjoys what he does and it comes across when he captures the memories of your special day that will last forever. He keeps a great record of the pictures he captures and if you ever need them reprinted or anything he still saves them for you. He has a quick turnaround and once he takes them he has them emailed to you on his cool website or via video. Since we met him, I recommend him to all my friends that are getting married.

Eli is a master of his craft...one of the true professional's one will ever have the privilege to work with. He has a unique ability to get the perfect shot without being noticed and had complete control of the entire wedding day. From make-up to last dance he was right there. I do not recommend very many people but Eli is the exception...he is a value at whatever package you choose. And when we got the video picture slide three days after the wedding just to get a taste of what was to come; the pictures were incredible...he captured the feel and the essence of my daughter's joy on her wedding day.

Eli truly made our wedding special. He took the personal time to meet with us and assure us of his services. He offered us a reasonable and generous package. The best part is having the ability to reproduce all the photos ourselves rather than having to buy them from the vendor. Eli was great from out first meeting till the day I got my book. Everytime my husband and I went to take our engagement photo it was always bad weather outside and I was getting worried. Eli made sure that I was clam and assured me that the phot would be taken and it was and beautiful. The day of the wedding he took such great photo's that I still look at them. He was never in the way and have the time you forgot he was even there. I have so many candid pictures that helped make the day speical. he nevered missed a moment and made sure that all the correct people were in the photo's. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't use anyone else but Eli.

Not only was Eli great to work with but he took amazing Engagement and Wedding pictures. His pricing is amazing and I would recommend him to anyone. Eli was the consummate professional. Eli is AMAZING! We were reccomended to Eli by our wedding coordinator with whom he has taken not only their wedding photos but their family portraits as well. He was so helpful from the very first meeting and really seemed to understand me, my personality and exactly what I needed in a photographer. I am a bit of a stresser (understatement) and he knew exactly what to say to calm me down. One of the things that impressed me the most is how he handled himself on our actual wedding day. He was supportive not intrusive and really worked with us so we could maximize our time with our guests at every moment. He never rushed us and was oh so patient. On all the reviews above he is a 10+! He is always on email so was extremely responsive and gave me his personal cell # for whenever I had questions. His flexibility and value for the cost were also very impressive. Overall, I would highly reccomend Eli and can say that we were so very happy with his services.

We are absolutely without hesitation in recommending Eli. He was referred to us by our venue and has been doing wedding photography for more than 20 years. From start to finish he provided a high level of service - at our first meeting he visited us in our home with sample albums and described his journalistic style. At our last meeting he visited us in our home to bring us the final albums. At the event, Eli was unobtrusive and took fabulous shots. The final albums are stunning - Eli sends a proof book and asks you to choose your favorites. Then he lays out an album and puts it online so that you can perfect it. He will do as many versions as you require until it is just right. The quality of the printing is excellent and we ordered smaller versions for our parents. Eli is also a very good value.

We searched and interviewed many photographers before choosing Eli. When we met with Eli it was immediately clear that he was the right photographer for us. We met Eli at his office in Pleasanton and he showed us many albums of the work he has done. We were very impressed with the quality of the photos he shot at other weddings and for Wente Estates Concerts. He even came recommended by one of the other Photographers that we met with. I think he really sold us on the fact that he promised we would have access to the pictures within days and that he had multiple backups of every event he shot so that the pictures were assured to be delivered. The icing on the cake for me was the print book of all the photos he shot that he included in his very reasonable price.
The day of the event Eli was there on time and ready to work. He had multiple cameras and shot beautiful pictures. We arranged to do some family shots before the wedding so that we had some sunlight. He worked through the wind and the cold with us to get some wonderful vineyard and family shots. My family got lost on their way to the wedding and only arrived right before the ceremony. He still managed to get all the family shots we needed in the tasting room which actually gave us a variety of back drops for the family photos. He really knows how to think on his toes. The ceremony was at night under the Murrieta’s Well lights. He took fabulous pictures of the wedding despite the fact it was dark out. During the reception afterwards he captured every minute of the fun our guests had. Our guests later referred to him as the Ninja because he was there taking pictures of the wedding all night, in the barrel room where we had the reception, but you barely knew he was there. We ended up with over 650 high quality pictures. When you scroll through them you truly are able to relive the night in its entirety. I would recommend Eli to anyone that was looking for an experienced photographer that will not give you any problems and will go above and beyond to make sure you have a night you will remember forever. Our print book showed up within 2 - 3 weeks of the wedding, we had a link to look at the photos while we were on our honeymoon and we had disks delivered to our home just days after we were back from our honeymoon.

We got married at Wente Vineyards and chose Eli from their preferred vendor list. What a great combination of venue and a skilled photographer knowing the location he is shooting to create memories of a lifetime! The pictures that I had seen Eli take of other weddings at Wente is what made me decide that it was the place for our wedding, and I had to have him capture the memories of my special day there. I instantly felt comfortable with Eli, from the first time I met him. He has a way of capturing the expressions and moments in still shots that you may have never even knew were taking place at the wedding. We also did engagement photos as part of our package, which then he created into a photo book which served as our guest book at the wedding!

Eli is great! He shot both our engagement photos and wedding photos. There really wasn't a moment of the wedding he missed. I was especially impressed because my family is a little camera crazy, but he just shot around all the other people and was really mellow about it. I couldn't be happier about our experience!
