Midwest is best!

My wedding would not have happened without Elevated Events. They literally brought the party. Expertly tailored lighting for our reception tent. Gorgeous back drop for our photo booth and props catered to our personalities. Beautiful decor for both our ceremony and reception. Not to mention a DJ that complemented our band and guests vibe!

They truly are professionals. They thought of things I never would have and answered most questions before I even had them. They are prompt in their responses. They also provided me with so many resources and tips on how to make our day, the best day - I owe my stress free, perfect day to them!

Decorations and Photo Booth Fun

Elevated Events did a fabulous job decorating our reception and running our photo booth! Kourtney, the client relations manager, was attentive and answered all of my questions. We got uplighting throughout the reception space to keep the vibes intimate with soft lighting. It was perfect since our venue mainly had windows along the perimeter. Kourtney offered several options to customize our photo booth and our guests loved that they got several copies. We ended up getting a boxwood wall through them and they hung up our neon sign with our last name. My husband and I adored looking through the photo booth scrapbook, which doubled as our guest book. We greatly appreciate their professionalism and attention to detail.

Zero complaints!! Elevated Events did an amazing job DJ’ing our wedding reception. Our DJ, David, was incredibly personable and fun while also being professional. The communication leading up to our wedding day was impressive and we loved working with this company - you can definitely tell they know what they’re doing! David did a perfect job with announcements, going with the vibe of the crowd, and keeping the dance floor going all night. We also had dance floor lighting provided by Elevated Events and loved it! Would recommend to anyone looking for a DJ service :)

Wonderful experience hiring Elevated Events to DJ our wedding

We hired Elevated Events to DJ our wedding at the Morton Arboretum. The entire team was very organized, professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. Kourtney managed the entire process excellently and our DJ Marco kept everyone on the dance floor for 3 hours. He took the song ideas we provided and did an excellent job drawing from them, such that our guests said that it was just a non-stop rotation of bangers. The whole thing felt like an excellent value, and we were very pleased.

Soo happy!

We are SO HAPPY that we booked Elevated Events for our wedding! Kourtney was extremely helpful when booking and with answering all of our questions leading up to the day, and our DJ Chris totally killed it! He did a phenomenal job creating the exact vibe we wanted with the music, and the dance floor was full all night. We got a ton of compliments from our guests on the DJ 😁 He created the party we envisioned, and I would highly recommend others to book Elevated Events!

Really knowledgeable!

We were so happy with our experience with Elevated Events and would highly recommend them for a wedding or event. Chris, our DJ, was fantastic - really knowledgeable and kept the party lively, our photo booth attendant also did great as did our guitarist, Matt!! Will recommend to everyone we know!

Kourtney was such an amazing help to my husband and I during our entire planning process! She made all of the decision making easy and was so quick to respond to all of our messages. We made so many changes and added so many pieces to our wedding up until the week before the wedding and she made it all happen exactly as we envisioned it! Patrick was our DJ and was so helpful during the planning of the schedule for the evening and helped us move things along as scheduled. He really read our vibe and made sure the music was as close to perfect as possible throughout the entire night! Overall, an amazing experience and while we won’t be planning another wedding any time soon… we will recommend to everyone we know!!

Outstanding DJ and Company

We highly recommend working with Elevated Events if they are available for your wedding day. Kourtney and Marco were excellent to work with and helped contribute to what was the best evening that we could have asked for.

Kourtney was so well organized and prepared. She had a comprehensive and easy to follow agenda of items to discuss ahead of the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page.

Marco, our DJ, was phenomenal at our wedding. Each of our song requests were played, and his choice of songs aligned with the kind of reception we wanted. We smile ear to ear knowing how many of our guests enjoyed the evening.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful experience working with Elevated Events for our wedding and would absolutely recommend them! When I first reached out nearly two years ago to inquire about draping at our venue (Ravisloe Country Club), Kourtney was super helpful and answered all of my questions over both phone and email. Elevated Events had previously completed ceiling and entrance draping at our venue, so I was able to see pictures and fully visualize how the reception room would look on our wedding day. On the day of our wedding, the draping looked incredible and it felt like we stepped into a fairytale. The team did such a wonderful job and all of our guests were so impressed with how beautiful the room looked with the draping! Thank you Elevated Events!

Incredible Evening

Everything was fantastic! Marco did an amazing job with the great music! He did an amazing job in all aspects including introductions, transitioning to different events in the night, and being a great host. It was an awesome experience!

Couldn't dream of a better vendor to work with.

They came in at the 11th hour and made our reception incredible.

- We explained our vision for the reception lighting, and they were genuinely excited to bring it to life with the flair of a true artist.
- We were offered lots of different options and different price points, even giving us a discount despite the tight turnaround.
- We ended up getting a photo booth, for which they offered customized photo strips, using the same graphic design elements as the invitations we designed.
- A joy to communicate with, easy to tell that they are genuine and passionate about what they do.

Easy to work with

Working with Elevated Events was easy. We got several quotes, and Elevated Events was competitive. We filled 3 questionnaires after we figured out our reception program and speakers etc., and got matched to our DJ, Marcus, a few weeks before the wedding. We had a Zoom meeting to go over all the details. The event coordinator, Kourtney, was very organized and responsive.
On the wedding day, Marcus was great. He was able to coordinate with the wedding party and speakers. The reception went well. The post-wedding surprise was definitely appreciated!

I am so happy!

From start to finish, Elevated Events was amazing!! Kourtney was so quick to answer any and all questions I had. I changed my mind a bunch on decor and add ons, and Kourtney always gave the best advice. The day of, I was not worried about a single thing!!! The decor turned out INCREDIBLE, beyond anything I could have ever imagined!! The room looked straight out of a magazine. People are still talking about the sparkular machines! Aside from that, Patrick the DJ was just an absolute delight! The dance floor was ALWAYS packed, and even the pickiest guests complimented how good the music was! I would recommend Elevated Events 100000x over, I am SO HAPPY to have found them! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

PATRICK was our dj and he was truly amazing. So friendly and has a really fun personality. He followed everything we wanted and listened to us very well during our meetings. This company was so easy to work with and really helped take stress off me during the wedding planning process. Patrick was organized, on time and made sure we weren’t worried about anything in our special day. He made sure the dance floor was never empty by feeling the crowd out and playing what he thought was fitting. I will be recommending this company and Patrick to my friends and family! WOW! I cannot say enough about this company! This was my favorite vendor I worked with. Kourtney was a great communicator and made my dream come to life with the backdrop at my wedding. She made us comfortable with the whole process. Marco was the best DJ ever! He made sure the dance floor was crowded all night long with great hits! He was great at coordinating the music and keeping my husband and I in the loop with everything! We got so many compliments on the music choices! I had the pleasure of working with Kourtney, who is the coordinator and she was one of the best people to work with. She was so attentive, flexible and absolutely the sweetest - she helped me from music choices to last minute decor necessities. I ended up having Marco as our DJ for the night and he was AMAZING. he kept everything on track, made sure everyone was having fun and really understood what i was looking for! Perfect music selections!

Our DJ Marco and Elevated Events provided the exact vibe and styles of music we were looking for. In the months leading up to the wedding there were numerous questionnaires and check-ins that helped us nail down the specific song selections and backdrop to moments throughout our wedding day that we found very helpful.
We were admittedly pretty picky about the genres that we wanted and even wanted the genres to change throughout the evening too. Marco took our preferences in stride and both played our songs that we considered “must-plays” as well as filled in the gaps with songs that fit the overall style of the others. We don’t come from families that like to dance very much but Marco got our people on the dance floor.
One more thing we wanted to mention is that there was a last minute change in our ceremony location due to weather and Marco was able to adapt to the change without any issues or delays. Great company and DJs!

Kept guests dancing till closedown!

Very easy to work with, and they ask for all the details of the wedding up front so that there is no time wasted or miscommunication on the run-of-show. Marco was a great DJ and kept the dance floor on fire the whole night while also being a great M.C. We had a multi-cultural wedding, and Marco did an incredible job mixing in Armenian, Indian and western music throughout the night. Guests were raving about how fun and exciting the music and dancing was – our dancefloor was never empty.
Elevated also provided our photo booth, which included backdrops and a wonderful album for guests to contribute to and sign which we will hold on to forever.

If you are looking for a quality DJ that listens to you and works with you to create the perfect event, look no further. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond my expectations. Our lighting was on point and the DJ service was perfect! The DJ even helped the venue with getting the buffet moving (saved the day).

Got the wedding going and danced all night to the very last song!

We had a wonderful experience throughout the entire planning process with Elevated Events. They were extremely responsive and patient as we navigated through planning. They are extremely organized by using different questionnaires. Our guests were dancing all night long and our DJ was extremely responsive during the wedding day. He was always checking up on myself and my husband to make sure we were happy. Overall, I highly recommend!

Sparklers were amazing!

We used Elevated Events for our DJ, Photo Booth, sparkler machines, and lighting. We received so many compliments related to the services they provides. Our sparkler exit was a crowd favorite. The machines were a huge surprise and added extra excitement. I would recommend adding this effect to every wedding. We are trying to think of other events we can have to use them!

Kourtney and Patrick were an integral part of our wedding. I wanted the day to be perfect for my bride and Kourtney helped me throughout the entire planning period. Lifesaver!

Booking Elevated Events was a lifesaver. I did a final walkthrough of my venue and realized that I needed a lot of decor help. They came to the rescue providing a vinyl wrapped floor, patterned lighting on the floor, multiple backdrops, uplighting around the room, stair railing decor, and a Photo Booth. We are so thankful for the attention to detail and beautiful product.

I booked Elevated Events directly through the knot. I had a great connection with Kourtney from the beginning. She was so helpful throughout the entire process (even staying calm when I switched songs last minute). Our DJ Marco was the BEST! Everyone loved him!

The photo booth attendant, Andrew, EVERYONE LOVED him. He had so much enthusiasm, kept the photo booth moving, had patience with the little kids who took A LOT of pictures, was genuinely fun and kind. He needs a promotion!

FUN and Memorable!

We used Elevated Events for DJ and Photo Booth. Our DJ, Patrick, is the owner of the company and he made us feel like stars. Our main goal for our wedding was FUN! Stellar DJ and lighting! 10/10 would recommend!

Elevated Events were incredible! Patrick and Kourtney had a Zoom call with me and my now husband twice to help us curate the best version of our playlist, sent us personal questionnaires that made it super easy (and fun!) to create a list of must-have songs and musical pieces, and they were SO sensitive to our needs in terms of having international family members and guests. They made SURE that each and every name was spelled out phonetically for them and to pronounce it correctly, and they also listened to our needs for adding in Serbian folk music for my (the bride) side of the family so we can dance our giant epic circular dance called Kolo! Our first dances with our parents were also super special. My dad in particular picked an out of the ordinary piece for us to dance to - a dark waltz by the Russian classical composer Shostakovich - and Patrick made sure to play it just as long as we specified (2 minutes). Patrick even reached out to our day-of wedding coordinator to arrange everything with her, we didn't have to lift a finger and he made this process so stress-free. On the day-of Patrick was so prepared and timely, he double-checked the entire list and order of all of the bridal and groom parties - which was such a lifesaver because we had a mess-up and that could have easily gone unnoticed and the wrong people could have easily been announced. So kudos for doublechecking everything! The lights and music and all of the banter in between that Patrick had arranged and curated was beyond our expectations, and the price for it all was UNBELIEVABLE! There were DJ's out there trying to charge us for twice as much, for half the work that Elevated Events does. We feel so lucky to have found such an amazing and talented vendor, thank you Patrick and Kourtney for making our special day run so smoothly! We truly had a blast thanks to you! 10/10 will recommend to all of our family and friends.

Amazing!

My now husband and I recently used Elevated Events for our wedding reception and could not be happier with how everything turned out! We rented our uplighting, monogram for dance floor, and DJ through them. Everything was amazing and they were extremely thorough and professional with making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. We received soo many compliments from our guests about how awesome our DJ Marco was! MWES provides a quality service across the board. We booked the DJ and photobooth services and had so much fun. We liked that we got to choose our photobooth backdrop and got custom designed photo printouts. We didn’t do strips, we did 4x6 with our wedding logo and theme, which we used instead of favors. Their booth was open-air and modern. You can tell it was new and had used the latest technology.

He was blown away by the level of equipment this company used. Halloween Dream

Every single person on earth thought I was crazy when I wanted to subtly include skulls and Halloween things for our October wedding. I didn’t want it to feel tacky or like a Halloween party, but I love Halloween and dark things and wanted that incorporated into by decorations and reception. For me, it would have felt fake to have a typical blush “white wedding.” Aly and Patrick helped us select details that were still very upscale and fancy, but caught the vibe of our halloween love. It only made sense because my husband and I met at a Halloween party. It was so amazing to see exactly what I wanted come to life without having to worry over every detail myself. It was completely worth it to hire a company and let them do the work. You guys ROCK.

It was really important to me that my reception feel individual and different from all of the other weddings we have been going to recently. Go for the platinum photo booth package! It seemed crazy, but we were a little worried because we had a smaller wedding and not everyone is into dancing. The cool photo booth gave people a reason to stay and made the reception feel interactive. We really liked that different groups of people were getting together for photos. It helped our families get to know each other and have fun in a low pressure way which was great since it was the first time many of them met. More Than We Bargained For

My husband and I definitely got more than we bargained for when we chose MWES Weddings as our wedding DJ and decor provider. Being in our 20’s, we’ve been to a lot of weddings and they’re all very similar. The dj has the same lights that sit on the table and spin or sometimes are on a pole. They’re fun and make it feel like a party, but a little cheesy. We were really excited that all of the equipment from MWES was sleek and polished. The lights were on a stand with a spandex cover, so we didn’t have cords and equipment in our photos. Andrew was so polite and hard working. We’re friends with the coordinator at our venue and she asked for MWES contact info because it was such a positive experience all around.

Don't use Spotify, book MWES

We thought about just doing a Spotify playlist for our wedding and boy, that would have been a mistake. MWES dj service isn’t the cheapest dj out there, but with good reason. Our dj/mc Aly, was great at making sure everything went smoothly and that we were happy throughout the night. She made sure to grab me when a few of my favorite songs were going to play, so I didn’t miss them. We had some crazy spur of the moment requests that she fulfilled so fast and it really made it all feel special and unique. Pretty sure my sister is booking this company for her wedding in 2020.

I really thought this company would be too good to be true. I didn’t think you could find a vendor with multiple services where each service was treated as an individual one with a high priority. We booked photo booth, dj and decor, and each service had its own dedicated staff. Our photo booth attendant might have been the best part! I think his name was Smooch and he was really fun and great at interacting with our guests! Drew did a great job with keeping everyone dancing and the decor went up without a hitch. We got so many compliments on everything.

Honest and great service

The best part about this company is that they’re honest. They will tell you exactly what is worth spending your money on and where you can make some different choices to save a buck or two. They don’t take your requests at face value and then give you a price. Patrick really worked with us to understand our overall vision for the space, helped us to decide our must-haves and priorities and then made some other suggestions here and there when he felt something would really make a positive difference. I appreciated that we weren’t just another job to them, but that they really cared about making this a perfect day for me and my husband.

Amazing Decor

The decor this company provides is hands-down amazing. Patrick worked hard to come up with our decor plan with some very vague input from us. All we knew was that we wanted a striking, beautiful and memorable room. We had a certain budget in mind and got very close to meeting it. Great online options

The best DJs around!

We’ve been to 2 other weddings MWES deejayed, before having them do our own, so we have experienced their service from multiple perspectives. As guests, we experienced the DJ’s ability to read a crowd and keep everyone dancing. Somehow they managed to play everyone’s favorite song and even some throwbacks we didn’t know we wanted to hear. As the bride and groom, we experienced their great customer service and their desire to go above-and-beyond for us on our wedding day. Andrew, our DJ, made sure to work with the venue so that we stayed on our timeline and made sure our photographer and video person were always ready and in place. He even went to find my mom to make sure she was in the room for mine and my husband’s first dance. I appreciated that this went on behind-the-scenes and that we weren’t bothered with every single change throughout the night. All we had to focus on was having a good time!

I actually hired this company because I saw them at my friends wedding. But the coolest thing was that when it came to my wedding, it didn't feel like the exact same wedding reception. It felt like it was mine. They asked me in advance for any song requests that we had and more importantly any songs that we wanted to put on the do not play list. Absolutely love working with this company! They made it so easy for me to just be able to enjoy my wedding reception. I never once worried about when anything was going to happen. This company was fantastic. I really saved a lot of money by hiring this company. I found this company and inquired about pricing then found out that they also do decor and photo booth. I'm not going into specifics, but I'll say that my aunt was very jealous and wished she had hired them for her anniversary party because of all of the money she would have saved. I really enjoyed all of their insights, as well. I felt like They really had my back. Even though we saved a bunch of money being going with them for all the services they offered, I never felt like I was getting reduced product from them. Our friends who recently got married recommended the companies they used to us. I am glad we did not go straight with them since MWES was cheaper and I feel that their services were even better than the more expensive companies. I can not recommend this company more highly.

I’m the kind of bride that has trouble staying focused, so having a DJ ready and willing to wrangle me and all of the bridal party for the first dance, toasts, cake cutting, etc. was a godsend! Midwest Event Solutions made our wedding day go off without a hitch. My guest and I were blown away when we first walked into our reception room. Midwest Event Solutions did an amazing job with the ceiling canopy and draping. The chandeliers really added the finishing touch. Their DJ was perfect. From the start of the night he kept our evening on track and worked closely with our photographer and videographer to make sure they didn't miss anything. Their photobooth was also great. Midwest Event Solutions was very attentive to our every need. They worked with us every step to design our reception. In the end we ended up using their DJ and Decor services. Their DJ kept our guest dancing all night and Patrick transformed our banquet room. He had a ton of ideas to changed the dated room into something that wouldn't have believed was the same venue on our wedding day. I can not recommend this company enough.

Aly did a great job DJing our wedding. She followed our timeline and song requests perfectly, and was a wonderful emcee for the evening. Midwest Event Solutions overall was responsive and professional. They were willing to answer any and all questions we had. We'd highly recommend them!!

We had our reception at the Allerton Hotel and although it is beautiful, the ballroom has a configuration such that you cannot always see the head table. Midwest Event Solutions set up video screens with a live video feed of the head table so that no matter where you were you could see and hear the head table. This made it so much nicer for guests during toasts and speeches. Midwest also did a video montage that played at times throughout the reception with pictures of us growing up and at the early stages of our relationship. It was truly beautiful and made our reception. Their DJ service was second-to-none and we had no complaints! Be prepared for a great experience with this company.

We initially booked Midwest for DJ service and were excited to see how cost-effective décor could be if we booked through them as well. The more services we added, the more they were able to work with us. They really made sure our budget was being used fairly; my husband and I never felt like we were being upsold on things we didn’t need or want with DJ or Décor. Patrick was kind enough to offer their photobotoh service at an extraordinary price when all was said and done. A great company that will work with you especially when booking multiple services. No catch here; these guys are just great!

MWES Décor services put the finishing touches on our day. The ceremony décor (draping behind the service, aisle décor and an aisle barrier so no one but the bridal party walked down the runner) were absolutely perfect. For cocktail hour, the lights put under the tall tables made the room look so cool and specific to us. The reception was just awesome with our monogram projected over the head table, uplighting around the room coordinated to our wedding colors. They were great about the whole planning process; we gave them our budget and they worked with us to ensure it was used effectively and appropriately throughout the entire wedding.

This company’s Dj and décor service was perfect. My husband and I are from out of town, but our wedding was in Chicago, so we were never able to actually meet Patrick or Aly in person until the day of the wedding. They both were so communicative throughout the planning process ensuring that everything was perfect for us since we were nervous about booking so many of our wedding services from out of state. They were even able to give us some recommendations and some information on other services we were looking for that they didn’t provide. Such a wonderful resource. This company does it right!

We used Midwest Event Solutions décor, dj and photo booth services. I wish I had contacted them sooner. Once we did, they really simplified the planning process for us. We had a pretty long first meeting with them after we initially booked to go through what we wanted (our ceremony and reception were both in the same venue and it needed a bit of help to look like we wanted), but after that we knew we were taken care of. Both my husband and I, as well as Patrick and his staff, would check in every once and a while to make sure things were coming along fine, which was great! Midwest was very good about getting in touch with our venue and organizing things for us on that end. We understand how busy wedding companies are and still we felt like their number one priority. At the end of our wedding day, we were so happy with our beautiful décor, GREAT dj and very fun photo booth. What wonderful memories we have to share!

If you’re looking for a company to assist you with multiple services and achieve with each one, this is your wedding vendor. They do such a great job (we’ve been to three different weddings where they provided some service) and consistently make sure you’re happy and getting what you need. Patrick, Smooch, Aly and Kate all were great the day of our wedding. It was so wonderful to work with people that were as concerned about making my wedding day as perfect as I was. This team knew their stuff and delivered on their promises. My guests had a blast at our reception and even commented on how fun the cocktail/dinner hour music was (we knew didn’t want “jazz standards” or “The Rat Pack,” but weren’t sure what else there was). Their photo booth was the best one I’ve ever been in! GREAT selection of props (which was included in the price!!!) and very fun attendant. Décor was beautiful and meticulously done. Yes, there are tons of other companies out there that provide these services, but you’ll be hard pressed to find one that does all of them as well, plus providing excellent customer service, as Midwest Event Solutions.

We booked MWES and highly recommend them. Great people/staff, fantastic service and worry/hassle-free booking and planning. Online planning tools for dj were great, everything we could think of was there and no detail was missed. Head table draping, room uplighting and bridal monogram on dance floor were breath taking. Pricing was fair, especially for the quality of service.

Great Décor, Fantastic Customer Service

The title says it all; MWES did a great job with décor and had fantastic customer service throughout our whole experience. We liked that they worked with both our venue and us to ensure that we were utilizing our budget and fulfilling our needs appropriately. They wouldn’t just sell us something because we asked for it. They talked with us to really understand the feel and look we were going for and then made sure that it made sense for our venue. We got to be really involved with putting things together and had MWES’ expertise to help guide us. Thanks again!

Midwest Event Solutions saved our wedding when the first DJ company we booked started coming back to us with all of these additional hidden fees. There was an extra charge for everything, but that was not clear from our first meeting. We had signed a contract already and thought we were stuck, but after reaching out to Midwest, they helped coach us through how to handle the situation and were very accommodating with a payment plan while we figured things out. My husband and I really appreciated the care and extra help Patrick and his staff gave us.

We were really happy to see that this company offered multiple services. We found them first by searching for a DJ and upon learning that they offered décor services, promptly booked those services as well. When all was said and done we also got a great deal on a photobooth from them. Everyone did a great job. The music was so much fun and the décor transformed our room. I have been to so many weddings in generic reception halls and I wanted to find a way to make my special day not feel like another run of the mill wedding. When I contracted MWES Weddings, Patrick worked with me to make my desires a reality. Our friends and family love to dance, so I let them know that the dance floor was the most important part of our wedding. Knowing this Patrick design kept the focus to our dance floor. He showed us photos of white dance floors and we knew we that was a must to transform the old looking parquet floor into something that was elegant. Over the dance floor you used a 12 point two toned ceiling canopy that matched our wedding colors perfectly. The one thing that we were worried about going in was the color of our uplighting matching the colors. Many of the weddings we had gone to that had uplighting had a color that was close to the wedding colors but none seemed to match really well. Patrick put my mind to ease with this when he setup a meeting with us so we could bring in something that had our wedding colors in it and he went through to find the exact right color that we approved. It was little things like this to made us know MWES was going to be exact on everything we wanted.

We also used MWES for our DJ. John was very personable and brought a lot of energy to our wedding. We are glad that we did the upgraded lighting package as well with the DJ services. Having the moving lights on the dance floor with the DJ assistant that controlled them created the exact environment we wanted.

From one bride to another, if you are looking for a company that will take the ideas you had of your wedding since you were a little girl and will turn them into a reality. MWES

I found MWES here on The Knot and what caught my eye were all their pictures of the brides having fun at their receptions. I knew I wanted that same experience! After our initial meeting with Patrick, the owner, he presented us with a few options for DJ’s that fit our requirements (someone fun that could be involved in the evening without being cheesey). Aly was perfect for this; she understood how to interact with our guests completely. Everyone was great! We’ve already recommended them to one of our friends.

I loved this company’s DJ service. Their selection of music throughout the night was perfect for our reception. We didn’t give them much guidance, only filled out their “do not play” list and gave them a couple of genres of music we liked. We heard everything we liked and then some. Aly was really great at making announcements to let our guests know what was happening and when. My husband and I both felt their personal service and that Aly really cared about making sure things were perfect. We appreciated the attention!

I can’t say enough about how great this company was as our deejay. We had an older crowd and they were completely able to gauge our guests and keep everyone dancing and having fun. My parents were worried (before actually meeting our deejay) that our relatives would have a hard time having conversation and dancing to music that they know, but after meeting John, they were put immediately at ease. The reception couldn’t have gone better and it was so much fun to see our entire family having such a wonderful time.

We booked Midwest Event Solutions with only a few weeks before our wedding date. My husband is in the army and found out he was being deployed earlier than expected, so we decided to move up our date. We were relieved to see all of the services that this company had to offer (dj, décor and photo booth) and happy that they worked with us to get things booked and settled quickly. We were delighted with how everything turned out; the paper lanterns and uplighting in our tent gave it a very cool and distinctive look. The photo booth was great fun for our guests (they helped us design our favors too-fun frames for the photo strips) and Aly, our dj was perfect to keep the party going and help our guests see important events (our backyard wedding had different locations for different things like cake-cutting, dancing, etc). It was nice to have a second dj to help coordinate with the other vendors as well. Thanks to everyone from Midwest who helped my husband and I see our dream wedding come to life on our expedited timeline. It was absolutely perfect and breathtaking.

Fun, professional and perfect is how I would describe MWES DJ! The platinum package is really where the party’s at. We loved that the lighting options with this package made our Chicago reception venue feel like our very own club. Patrick and Smooch were great at anticipating our needs and staying in touch with the staff at the venue allowing my husband and I to dance the night away.

I couldn’t be more excited to review this company! The décor services provided for our wedding were just beautiful. We used their lighting services to give our reception a warmer, more special look and feel. With the additional hanging light up lanterns the room looked magical. They were also able to provide us with a white dancefloor with our initials on it. During our planning process I saw this in so many photos and knew I had to have it. I am so glad we went with it since it was even better in real life then I had ever imagined. These little touches had our guests complimenting our reception all night long. My husband and I had beautiful pictures and memories!

Top Notch Service

My husband and I were thrilled with our Dj Aly. She was so much fun and really on top of things for us. Our guests had a lot of requests that she was quick to play and everyone had a great time because of that. We also really appreciated how nice and elegant their setup looked. Everything looked like it was part of the room with the spandex coverings and façades over their equipment. Their lighting package was icing on the cake!

Patrick’s (the owner) ability to understand what we wanted our venue to look like was spectacular. We really wanted a unique feel for our outdoor wedding and he was able to bring that to life for us. Our reception felt intimate and special, not generic and pre-planned. This company was also great at working within our budget and providing us multiple options to choose from. My husband and I really got to be involved in the planning which was really fun to do together!

This deejay company was perfect. My guests said they have never danced so much at a reception. We had some bridal games and some friend wedding traditions done and the deejay was great at announcing them, the rules and encouraging everyone to get involved without being cheesy. John was the deejay and he seemed really able to read our crowd and played exactly what our guests wanted to hear.
