Elephant Memories captured our day perfectly!! You are in such good hands with Clarissa and Karl! They are both so kind, helpful and fantastic at what they do!! They worked super hard to make sure the video was exactly what we wanted and we couldn’t be more appreciative!! It came out phenomenal and everyone loves it!! So so perfect! If anyone is on the fence about getting a videographer you should 100% do it and book with them! The video captures so much you don’t even think about and tells a personalized story about your special day 😍 I knew from the moment I started planning that I wanted a videographer at the wedding and when I came across EM’s videos I knew I had to have them!! My husband was more weary about being filmed but he is so glad we did and Clarissa made it so easy and comfortable to be on camera! This video is everything we wanted it to be and more!! Clarissa (and Karl) deserve an award for their talent and work. We hired Elephant Memories to do our wedding video after seeing some of their work online. Before the wedding, they sent questionnaires to make sure they understood the vibe of our wedding in addition to us as a couple. After the wedding, they followed up for additional feedback before they started to put the full product together. During the wedding, Clarissa was so nice and calming to be around. Her staff was funny and made the awkwardness of being filmed more enjoyable.
After we received our teaser video, we were extremely excited for the final product. When the final video arrived...we were in disbelief. It is/was AMAZING. We started sharing it with friends and family and before we knew it, we had other people (not wedding guests) reaching out to tell us it was the best wedding video they have ever seen. They tied it together as a story in the most tasteful & beautiful way. We HIGHLY recommend using Elephant Memories - you will not be disappointed. -

Clarissa and Karl really did an amazing job with filming our wedding. You can tell they have a passion for what they do and it shows in their videos. When I first found @clarissaduque on Instagram, I KNEW she had to be our videographer. Her attention to detail, magnetic personality, and fantastic editing skills drew me in. Amazing wedding videographer! We loved working with Clarissa for our big day. She was SO helpful in the planning process- we really struggled with choosing music for our video, and she sent us so many incredible options it was hard to choose. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple and provide us with a special and personalized experience. She worked so well with our photographers, it felt like they were a unified team. Clarissa is the absolute best! She has the sweetest soul and the best eye for all things picture and video. From the first call and email, she always felt more like a friend than vendor, and that was only increased the day of the wedding! She even arrived early and made us feel so comfortable all while capturing every second of our big day! From the moment I saw a wedding teaser of a couple at our same venue over a year ago, I immediately knew I wanted her to be part of our all-star vendor team! Every video of hers that I have watched (multiple times) has made me laugh, cry and feel like I knew each couple personally based on how well she captures their unique story and personalities. Clarissa at Elephant Memories was a DREAM to work with! She put together the most beautiful wedding video we could have asked for. She included all the most special moments and details of our day, plus some! Clarissa truly cares about the bride and groom and their vision for the day and for the video, and takes everything to heart. She is kind and funny, and a joy to have around on wedding day! She is on top of things and got us our video ahead of schedule, and was so helpful throughout the entire process. When we first spoke with Clarissa a year ago, we had already made the hard decision to postpone our wedding from September 2020 to May 2021, due to Covid, and having already been planning for almost 2 years. She heard our concerns about the likelihood of still having guest number and mask restrictions even come May, and she was still empathetic, supportive and excited for whatever our wedding would look like. She ensured us that it would be beautiful no matter what and we could work around the restrictions. We filled out an extensive questionnaire about our preferences for music, using the toasts and vows, etc. and she stayed incredibly true to our vision. The end result is a beautifully crafted, romantic, genuine and fun highlight of our wedding day that is representative of who we are and our relationship and we couldn’t be happier! We loved working with Clarissa, she brought so much energy and enthusiasm leading up to and during the wedding weekend and we felt very comfortable in her hands. -

Clarissa was such a joy to work with! She was professional, responsive and organized throughout the entire process. Pre wedding, she sent us a questionnaire and multiple samples to get a feel for our style prior to our big day! Clarissa was incredible! I can’t recommend her highly enough. We originally had not planned to have a wedding videographer, but after having to postpone our wedding due to Covid, and knowing that so many of our friends and family would no longer be able to attend, we decided to add on a videographer to help document the day for those who couldn’t be there in person. I’m SO glad we did! Clarissa created a beautiful video that absolutely captured the spirit of our wedding and the spirit of the city where we fell in love. I have watched the video over and over and it makes me so happy every single time. It’s like being able to relive all the perfect moments again. Clarissa made the whole process so easy for us. She is an absolute pro! She was flexible with our needs and helped create the perfect package for us. Her footage is absolutely stunning; it should honestly be a marketing video for Charleston. Our original idea to elope was debunked by the thought of not having our children with us to commemorate this new blended family. As the wedding morphed into a family vacation it became evident we needed to document with more than just pictures. Intimate and small was the intent- with a budget that had become razor thin. I wasn’t going to have a videographer but we needed a videographer. So I researched- they were cookie cutting movie makers so I abandoned the idea until I stumbled upon the Elephant Memories website. I watched video after video each one specialized to document each couple’s original story; no cut & paste formats. I emailed Clarissa with our story and the vision- we clicked creatively. The wedding was 2 months away & I feared she would not be available, lucky for us, she was. Covid cancelled our original date & without any fuss Clarissa was very accommodating- we had a great team of vendors. If you want your story documented, please know Clarissa is VERY attentive to details and open to your overall vision. We wanted a special musical vibe ( Jazzy & modern), she gave us the guidelines and let us go wild. Communication was key since we live in Atlanta - I’d email in the wee hours of the morning and surprisingly she would respond (creatives find inspiration in the wee hours). Our first phone conversation was like friends catching up & for every one of my ideas she added something to make it more special. I met Clarissa the day of the wedding-her beautiful personality was magnified 100x- she took charge of the shots, gave direction to create the images we discussed and was open to some impromptu shots we wanted on the fly. We followed her through the streets of Charleston creating amazing content and just having FUN! IT WAS MAGICAL!
When we received the finished product I laughed and cried, my husband wanted to watch it again and again. It was a TRUE documentary of our special day. The music and transitions seamlessly blend,- she was invisible in plain sight-because she captured conversations and those little details that you glance at and, admire but forget a moment later. There are a lot of “oh I remember that’ moments in our video. We can now have those moments forever. Our video is unique to us- as is everyone else’s is unique to them. Clarissa has captured for us , ’THE BEST DAY EVER.’ -

There are no words are actions to describe how happy and thankful we are that Clarissa from Elephant Memories was our videographer for our wedding.
I had a very specific vision for my video. I needed it to have a certain feel and emotion when it was watched. And OH MY GOSH did Clarissa not only deliver exactly everything we wanted in a video, she completely customized every single detail with love and completely out did herself!!! She gave advise and even threw some new ideas at us that we completely fell in love with. And as a bride you already have so many things to choose and all you’re really looking for are ideas from your vendors that you are obsessed with and make your vision even more amazing!!!

Working with Clarissa from Elephant Memories was such a special and amazing experience. She listened to every idea we had and fully customized our video to who we are as a couple and what we wanted! Where do I even begin… Clarissa is absolutely amazing! With less than a month to go, our wedding plans completely changed due to Covid-19. After all of our original plans were cancelled, we completely moved states and were so worried that we would not find a videographer. Elephant Memories saved the day! Clarissa was quick to respond and jumped right in like she was family. She even offered ideas to help our vision come to life. With the stress of everything changing so quickly, it was a huge relief to find a videographer that was genuinely excited to be a part of our day. She did not hesitate to wake up super early and hike with us. She wanted to make sure we got the most breathtaking mountain shots, and WOW is all I can say! Our love, our family, the location, every tear, every laugh, every detail of our day was captured so perfectly. The video was so much more than we ever imagined and we cry every time we watch it! Look no further! Elephant Memories is ONE of a kind.
I highly recommend Elephant Memories! I remember having such a hard time looking through videographers for our wedding - we knew we wanted one but we also knew that we were looking for more than just our wedding to be video taped and set to music with some basic editing. We wanted a video that had creativity, and really helped to tell our story. Elephant Memories did just that, and MORE! The creativity that they brought to the table was more than I could have ever dreamed of. More than just getting the "right shots", the editing that went into our video makes it over the top! Working with the team on the day of was easy - they make you feel so comfortable. We honestly could feel their passion for what they do throughout the whole day that they were with us and beyond. Here are my final recommendations for any bride to be:
1. If you are on the fence about wanting to hire a videographer and you can make ANY room in your budget: DO IT! I promise you that after all is said and done, you are going to be SO thankful that you did.
2. Highly consider hiring Elephant Memories for your big day. Their passion, talent, and experience lead to the most AMAZING final product. I mean, just take 5 mins and head to their Instagram to watch a few of their examples - you won't regret it! -

Elephant Memories services both Charleston, SC and Boston, MA. My husband and I had early discussions with Clarissa and Haley about our vision for our wedding video and Clarissa took all our feedback into consideration and also provided us with her own creative ideas to consider for our video. We wanted our video to be reminiscent of a sweet french love story, and Clarissa totally delivered on this and brought all our ideas to life! I also have to mention Clarissa's editing skills - it's movie quality!!! We purchased the Diamond package, which included a 1-minute teaser (perfect for sharing on IG), a 3-5 minute trailer (great for sharing with friends and family), and a 10-20 minute documentary. This package was totally worth the money, and we found Elephant Memories to be very reasonably priced compared to other Boston-based videographers (especially given the quality of work they deliver!) Clarissa and Haley were a pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend them to any engaged couples who are in search of a wedding videographer, you will not be disappointed! -

I knew I wanted a videographer from day 1. The photos and videos captured from our day was one of our very top priorities. My husband wasn't entirely convinced we needed videography at first, but he went along with it, knowing I was unlikely to compromise on that point. So we started our search and very quickly knew we were looking for something different and we'd need to find an amazing person to see our vision. When we talked with Elephant Memories and started exchanging ideas, we knew Clarissa was the perfect match.
By that time, we had reviewed what seemed like hundreds of wedding videos and when you watch them over and over, the typical wedding themes start to hit you over the head. It was everything we didn't want. I was crying through them all, and next to me my husband was often disengaged after the first 20 seconds. We both decided we wanted a more cinematography approach to our video. Something more commercially produced, maybe even out of order, but definitely telling a story in an interesting way. We wanted a video that would yes, make us cry if there were touching moments, but also make us smile and laugh and remember all the little details years and years from now. Clarissa and Hayley both took the time to get to know us, our story, the little details that made it all so special, and the vibe we were going for.
Since ours was a destination wedding in Charleston, we first met with Hayley who was assisting on our video on a short weekend visit. She was so easy to work with and made it clear that there could be promise with Elephant Memories - Could we have found a fit at last? Then Clarissa reached out to learn more about the different approach we wanted to take. Right away ideas came flowing and she suggested taking a romantic, almost sexy approach but in a classic way. She sent over a mood board and potential footage we could get around Charleston. I work in advertising and so I'm used to professional projects and having plenty of comments and adjustments to make. I had almost none. I absolutely loved her ideas and she went above and beyond to get extra footage for us around Charleston days before the wedding so we had plenty of time to get the shots we'd need. It was amazing. She was so creative with an eye for the exact shot was needed where and guided us along the way! (much needed). We asked her to capture footage and audio from our rehearsal dinner dinner and wedding day and there are so many moments from both that we never would have had if not for her and Hayley! The Best of The Best - HIGHLY Recommend!!
We are so fortunate to have found Elephant Memories for our daughter's wedding!! Thank you Clarissa, Karl and staff for being such an important part of the wedding team and our celebration. Your skill and artistic ability created such an incredible movie experience that perfectly captured our daughter and son-in-laws special day. We did a lot of research in our quest to find the perfect wedding videographer, since this was a destination wedding in Charleston and we were all in Colorado. What Elephant Memories delivered far exceeded our expectations! Clarissa and Karl were professional, respective, and upbeat throughout the whole process and Clarissa worked side by side with the wedding photographer to capture some amazing footage. We got married less than 2 weeks ago, and I can't stop thinking about how perfect our vendors were. Our 2 videographers, Haley and Dana, were a huge part of our big day. The final video will be delivered soon, but I just know that it's going to be everything we dreamed of. When you work with people that are genuinely there for you and try whole-heartedly to capture every special moment, you know the final product is going to be perfect. All of their videos are works of art, and I cannot wait to see what masterpiece they have created for us.
I highly recommend Elephant Memories to anyone looking for a talented videographer that also doubles as someone you can laugh with on your wedding day. They were both simply the best.

Elephant Memories was an incredible vendor to work with in these uncertain times! Clarissa was so flexible with us in creating something special, that she did something she's never done before. Our destination wedding to SC was cancelled due to Covid-19, so we scrambled to plan something small and intimate at home. Clarissa took the footage from the small and intimate wedding, and shot some footage of us in SC to create an incredible video that beautifully tells our story. It turned out better than I could have imagined, and we couldn't be happier!!! If you're on the fence about hiring a videographer, I HIGHLY recommend it! Especially if you're considering working with Elephant Memories, you won't regret it! I can't wait to watch our video again on our anniversary while we share our wedding cake. The video captures so much more than any photographs can.
