Exceptional speaker, touches the heart and still throws in some humor

Ryan is the perfect combination of all the elements you want your wedding day to have. He is a dynamic speaker, understands the sentiment of the event, and also has a wonderful sense of humor. There was no other option for us when we got married and I strongly recommend Ryan. Even if you don’t know him, he will present in a way that has you feeling he’s been a friend for years.

Not just an officiant

Ryan was an outstanding officiant that not only wanted to get to know us to make sure that our ceremony was special, but was willing to go above and beyond to fill roles that other vendors fell short on. I would recommend him to weddings of all sizes and budgets.

Ryan made the most important day of our lives better than I could have imagined. Not only did he officiate, but he went above and beyond the call of duty with the location, helping with the guests, and kept the whole evening flowing beautifully. My family and friends were so impressed by his words and ability to make the room feel so welcomed and united together... My father still talks about him to this day! I am so grateful Ryan was a part of my wedding! Thank you Ryan!

My husband and I were very pleased with the professionalism and charm during our wedding service. Elegant Wedding Services thoroughly meet our expectations from getting to know us as a couple during our several meetings before the wedding, to the day of, where our guests enjoyed the thoughtful, funny and sincere ceremony. Ryan Krause can put in as much or as little religion as you want into your ceremony. He is easy, flexible and open to ideas. One of the best! I'd recommend Ryan over and over again. Well dressed for pictures too. :)

Elegant Wedding Services (Ryan Krause) made sure we got what we wanted in our wedding ceremony! He was extremely flexible with the material, and everyone enjoyed how personal the ceremony was. It was heartfelt when it needed to be, and funny when it needed to be! We couldn't have asked for a better officiant!

Ryan was wonderful! He kept in touch and continuously checked with us before the date to make sure everything was going well. He also continued to make sure that if we needed anything he was more than willing to help.

Elegant Wedding Services was the right choice for us when we got married. His goal was to make sure our day was special and perfect for us.
Ryan Krause was there to help is from the beginning to the end. Everything from choosing what kind of ceremonys we could have, to helping is with vows, music, and rehersal. He is there almost 24/7 to answer any questions. I Highly recommond Elegant Wedding Services.

We paid for a custom ceremony without any religion, spiritualness, etc. The first draft that we received had religion and blessings in the first paragraph. The first reading that we didn't pick was religious. It just wasn't what we wanted at all. So we ended up writing our own ceremony, which is fine because it was exactly what we wanted. However, we only received a $100 discount for this. The day of our wedding came and it was as though he didn't practice the ceremony at all. He was reading directly off of the paper, was pausing at odd places, and was stumbling over words. Additionally, we did write our own vows and we provided him with those for a just in case situation. He had us repeat after him for our vows instead of us saying our own, which not only took us off guard but took some of the feeling out from them.

On another note, Ryan is very professional and a stand up guy. He adds a lot of personality and character to the ceremony. I think that if we would have done a run through of the ceremony with him beforehand a lot of this could have been prevented. It's not something that I even thought about until after the ceremony, but I would recommend it. Also, if you are asking for a custom ceremony, be specific as to what you want, specific readings you'd like, etc. This will save Ryan the time of writing something that wasn't what you wanted and will save you the aggrevation of reading something that wasn't what you wanted. I would definitely recommend Ryan to others.

DID NOT SHOW UP. AVOID!!! Ryan did not attend our ceremony. He mistakenly thought our wedding was at 6pm, but it was at 4pm. We were left scrambling trying to figure out what to do. Luckily there was a wedding guest who was able to perform the ceremony on the fly. Ryan did not have his phone on and only responded after the ceremony. I found out later that he was updating his Facebook status an hour and a half before our wedding.
It got worse.
I had a phone call with him at the wedding and just said we weren't mad, but expected a full refund of $400.00. At that time he verbally and in writing promised the full refund. We waited patiently for the refund to come through the mail and it never came. On July 13, 2014 I called him to ask where our refund is and he stated that it "was sent late last week." I trusted him. I figured it was an honest mistake that he messed up the time, but his actions after the wedding lead me to believe it was intentional. After waiting two weeks for our refund check, I gave Ryan another call. He did not answer and so I texted him. It was clear that he did not send our refund check at that time. He stated that he did send it and that "he will send another when he gets home". I gave him some other options for giving us our money back with one being paypal (since mailing it never happened) and he said that he would not have time to download the app to make the transaction. Being completely frustrated with the lack of professionalism I ended up driving to his house 45 minutes away as this was the way he said I could get the refund. Upon getting the check (which was in the mailbox ironically), I found out he decided to only refund half of our $400 citing the contract. This was not what he said he would do and he claimed he "misread" our texts when he promised the full refund. The wedding was June 22, 2014 and I got my refund July 25, 2014.A full month after the wedding. I now have to decide to go to litigation for our full refund
