Elegant Temptations wowed us with our wedding cake!

I am thrilled to write a stellar review about the beautiful, tasty, and glam wedding cake I received from Elegant Temptations. From the moment I laid eyes on the cake, I was mesmerized by its exquisite design. It truly reflected the glam theme of our wedding perfectly.

Delicious and beautiful!

Wow! We ordered the dulce de leche cake for our wedding reception and not only did it look gorgeous, it tasted amazing too! We got so many compliments from guests and I would recommend ETs again to anyone.

Delicious!

My husband and I had our wedding in South Miami at Cocoplum Woman's Club. One of the affiliated cake vendors was ET cakes. We ordered a vanilla rum cake and had customized detailing of one of the tiers. This cake was INCREDIBLE! It was truly the hit of the night - every one of our guests could not believe how delicious this cake was!!! I am sooo happy we chose ET cakes (mostly by luck, we didnt even do a cake testing as we were planning our wedding from Cleveland OH).

Our day was so sweet thanks to ET cakes!

We loved our wedding cake! ET Cakes was very professional and during these times, took every safety precaution. For the tasting, we got a to-go box with all the different samples inside. We decided on rum vanilla because we wanted something simple that everyone would enjoy but also something a little special. And let me tell you it did not disappoint. I did not eat much over the day of my wedding due to excitement but I made sure to shovel down my piece of cake! After the wedding, my family has fought over the leftover cake pieces and have called me to see if there are any more extra slices.

11.09.2019 Wedding

Isabel was so kind, patient and attentive. Planning a wedding from out of state was pretty daunting, but Isabel's attention to detail helped ease any concerns we could have had. We reserved a single day to meet with vendors all over Miami and she was our last appointment (for the cake tasting). Another appointment fell behind and then typical Miami traffic settled in. When we realized that we were going to be late to our appointment, I called Isabel and she was very understanding. She offered to box up our samples and write up a description of each slice for us to pick up and take with us on the road instead. Upon arriving, she was so sweet and able to give us a brief explainer on the process and flavors that they have before her next appt arrived. When it came to the overall look/feel, she nailed it! Planning a wedding can be stressful - but Isabel's approach made it fun and exciting. Thank you!

Wonderful in every way

ET cakes was a perfect vendor from beginning to end. We had a blast with Isabel at our tasting, and she was always so responsive to emails. The team guided us perfectly and our cake not only looked beautiful but tasted delicious. On top of the normal wedding stress, we ended up moving our wedding up a day because of a hurricane and ET cakes made it happen with no problem. Our only regret was not having our venue box some up for us to eat later that night at the hotel!!!

Beautiful!

Elegant Temptations was a pleasure to work with. We had many samples to choose from when we went to our tasting. They were extremely helpful when designing our cake, and created exactly what we wanted. It turned out beautifully for our wedding day, and we couldn't have asked for anything better!

Simply Amazing!

Elegant Temptations exceeded my expectations. The cake was beautiful, creative and delicious! One of my favorite parts of the wedding planning was the cake tasting. I highly recommend Elegant Temptations for any event. Isabel and the crew are wonderful people and I loved working with them. Cake was amazing!

Wow, our cake was amazing and we are so happy that we went with the ET Team. We had a very simple design with our cake but we still felt like we were VIP's and we were the only clients they had. I urge people to explore all the flavors. We went with the lemon raspberry with buttercream which was perfect for our spring wedding. We will definitely use them again.

Best cake!

We used ET for our wedding and the cake turned out amazing! We had a rustic theme and they were able to capture the theme along with great taste. They are professional and easy to work with, which meant a lot to us as we aren't local to the area.

The most beautifully tasting cake

Coming from someone who ONLY likes Publix cake — ET Cakes really really blew me away! Rosie and Lissette from ET cakes are truly passionate about what they do and you taste it in every bite! Our wedding cake was absolutely perfection inside and out! Everyone raved about how delicious it and beautiful it was! They are so sweet and so attentive to detail! I truly can’t wait to have another event just to have them make me another delicious cake! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The cake from Elegant Temptations is as beautiful as it is delicious. Each tier of the cake was decorated with a beautiful and elegant design, which made for a stunning cake. All the guests were raving about how delicious is was too. They had so many wonderful flavors to try during our tasting and Rosie was really helpful navigating us through it all and customizing the tiers to the flavors we wanted. We really enjoyed working with ET and were beyond satisfied with their product.

From the elegant consultation to the last bite of the wedding cake, Elegant Temptations delivered!! My wonderful wedding planner steered us in their direction and it was a beautiful experience. I don't even like cake and I loooooved my wedding cake. ET was one of the vendors my venue works with. I tasted delicious cakes from other well known vendors but none of them catered to me or had the design vision as ET cakes. Rosie and Isabelle were professional and sweet and were able to figure out my vision and add their own creative touches. My cake was gorgeous and delicious and my entire experience was incredible from first contact to delivery. I thought my modern elegant design would have to be made
with fondant but they executed it flawlessly with butter cream. Same amazing look but better taste and price. I would use them over and over!

Working with Isabel was so nice and easy! We were able to use ET through our hotel package, and although we didn't get do a tasting first, ET came highly recommended by family friends in Miami. I sent her an image of what I wanted the design to be, and she said no problem. She allowed us to pick 4 different flavors for our 4 different tiers. The cake looked and tasted amazing. We couldn't have been happier with it.

My husband and I used ET Cakes for our wedding cake and we were very pleased. Our initial introduction and tasting went very well, and the team made us feel special, not just another couple they wanted to try to get as client. They were patient, and took us through all of their flavors. SO DELICIOUS! Was hard to choose one! The one we did pick was the Guava, and it was so moist and tasty! I wish I had more today to eat, but we will have to wait till our First Anniversary. Thank you ET cakes for making our cake beautiful! Our guests thought it was delicious and wanted more!

I loved my Elegant Temptations Vanilla Rum Buttercream Wedding Cake! It was exactly what I was looking for, sweet but not too sweet and traditional. They are very helpful in helping you chose flavors, offering a tasting of an array of flavors, and you can chose your desired sweetness. Isabel was very responsive and helpful. I will be honest, I did not bother trying any other cake vendor after reading so many great reviews; the tasting really blew us away! Our cake was not only beautiful, but delicious. Extremely professional team. I had a sample picture of what i needed which i believe helps them understand and capture what you want, I think this is imperative to ensure you get what you, I personally got more than I imagined or expected, the cake was absolutely gorgeous and delicious.

I chose an simple buttercream cake for our wedding. It wasn't anything fancy - because I'm just not the type of person who cares for 8 tier cakes, and my personal preference is that fondant is okay, but buttercream to me is DELISH. The florist decorated the remainder of the cake with flowers, as discussed with Rosie from ET Cakes. We ended up with a beautifully simple cake, that tasted DIVINE!

Rosie was so sweet when we met, and explained the options thoroughly. I was honestly so impressed with how delicious our cake was, I had people coming up to me the entire night telling me how great it was. The two flavor options we chose were guava and dulce de leche. We seriously cannot wait until our 1 year anniversary, so we can have the top tier. (We also have family members lining up for a taste of that top tier!)

ET cakes has proven to me that no cake is too small or too big for them to do an amazing job! Thanks Rosie and everyone at ET Cakes, I'm a customer for life now.

We had multiple cake vendors to choose from as part of our wedding package at our venue. Our wedding planner helped us narrow down the list to make it more manageable as we were planning a wedding from another state and had to get a lot done in one weekend. From the moment we walked in, Elegant Temptations stood out above the competition. We got stuck in traffic and were running a few minutes late to our appointment. Despite that, they still saw us on time. They had so many flavors to choose from and the cakes are totally customizable. They have so many designs and things they've done in the past and can give you lots of ideas if you don't know what you want. They give you iPads to browse their work and help you create a cake. Once that's done, they e-mail you a sketch for your records. I received that in my e-mail before I left my appointment. They are so responsive. If you need anything, they will e-mail you right away. You definitely get what you pay for and if you're looking for amazing cake and service, this is the place to go. Great job guys! I highly recommend your services.

We had such an amazing experience with ET cakes! Rosie was amazing to work with. She designed the most beautiful cake using some pictures I found on their instagram page as inspiration while blending in the theme of my wedding (garden glam). Customer service was spot on. We also rented the cake stand, which was gorgeous. She gave great tips on table linens to use to help the cake pictures look fab. Most importantly, he cake tasted delicious!!! We had a different flavor for each tier. They do not compromise taste to achieve the beautiful outer design of the cake; have you ever seen a cake that was beautiful on the outside but the taste was compromised to achieve the look? Not with ET cakes!

Elegant temptations is by far the best in the business. Our wedding cake was both beautiful and amazingly delicious. My guests and I are still craving more cake. I have used ET cakes 3 times in the past year. Each time they are equally amazing. They are flexible and helpful. Their cakes are delicious!!! I had first hired ET for my first daughters babyshower cakes 2 years ago and haven't stopped using them since! Rosie, Isabelle and their team are the epitome of professional, creative, and skillful. They take it to the next level, and truly are masters of their craft. Not only will you get a beautiful, out of this world pastry, but the postive energy and laughs along the way until your event truly don't go unnoticed. I have since then done both of my baby shower cakes, my daughters cakes and my family birthdays. They've all not only LOOKED fantastic but they tasted just as great. The variety of flavors and quality of the frosting/cake is amazing, and let's not get started on how creative and unique they can design your cake! I even had a little sugar baby in a carriage for my baby shower the details were incredible!
In all I would definitely reccomend ET cakes, not only professionally but personally they are great people and an amazing company. At this point it's a no brainier to get my pastrys/ cakes done with them, they're like family.

Our cake was fabulous, and this company was responsive and also flexible with regard to changes and confirmation of information. We got exactly what we wanted, and our guests loved the vanilla rum flavor. Also, ET has an excellent tasting, so don't skip it!

We found them through our caterer, A Fancy Fiesta Production, and they were amazing. They should us many designs to pick what we wanted and we could customize as much as we want, while always being upfront with what was included and what (if any) additional charge it would be to get us what we envisioned. The cake was beautiful, but even better than that, it was absolutely delicious! Everyone loved it (can't go wrong with flavors).

We searched high and low for a baker to customize a themed cake for our starry night wedding. Elegant Temptations came highly recommended by our wedding planner and they did not disappoint. The cake was beautiful and was exactly as sketched. The colors were perfect and it was delicious. We didn’t even bother to freeze the top tier. We attacked it once we returned from our honeymoon a week and a half later! :-P

We used elegant temptations as they were included with our cake package at the palms hotel Miami and WOW are we happy that we did! We went to the cake tasting and we were impressed. Rosie took time to sit with us and find out what we wanted and accommodated us. She was professional and friendly. Later on, I went back and ordered a fully customized grooms cake as a surprise for my groom. SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB!!!!! It exceeded my expectations and my groom loved it. I am currently eating it and it is delicious! Wedding cakes are either pretty and taste bad or taste good but are not very pretty...if you want an exceptional cake that looks beautiful and tastes great then definitely order from ET!

The staff at ETcakes treat us like loyalty since the first day of consultation. We tried the different flavors of cakes. We decided to have a custome dessert station and Elizabeth saw our vision of cake pops instead of a big cake we wanted small traditional cake in our dessert table. Words cannot tell you have absolutely stunning the cake was!
It was breathtakingly beautiful and absolutely perfect in the room with the others desserts.
It looked better than we could have ever imagined.
I wanted to thank you so very much for helping to make our special day so perfectly sweet! Everyone was just amazed with how perfect everything looked and of course it was all equally delicious.! We didn't get to it try must of the dessert the day of the wedding. Am so happy that you make the dessert tasting before the wedding.

The first time I ever tried ET cakes, was actually at a bridal show. We were having a variety of desserts with many different flavors at our wedding, so I wanted a vanilla rum cake. I went with my mom to the bridal show and tried a few vendors. My mom and I kept saying "they're ok, but they don't have that WOW factor".. which is what we crave. As soon as we tried ET's vanilla rum, WE WERE IN HEAVEN. I think we each had like 3 samples of the same one lol. Perfectly moist, and delicious. All that was left to do was set up an appointment with them, and make it happen. The process was really simple, even though I was a complicated bride. Rosie was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what I wanted (as picky as I am). Our gorgeous cake was an absolute hit at our Winter Wonderland wedding. The most gorgeous black cake you ever did see. My cake was red velvet marble with raspberry white chocolate chip cheesecake filling and it was off the chain. they took my idea and made it the most beautiful, most delicious cake ever. My cake was 4 layers, although the bottom part was the real cake - we had sheet cake to pass out after. WHICH IS THE BEST IDEA EVER!!!
I could not have asked for a more delicious, beautiful cake... visit them - try them - and fall in love with them. They made my day and cake the most beautifully sweet day ever!!!

Kevin and I are so grateful to have found Elegant Temptations. When we first walked into ET Cakes we knew from the atmosphere that they were the right choice. I had never seen anything like it! You could tell from the décor alone that they were creative and had a special talent.

Let’s start with Rosie. She was extremely professional and provided EXCELLENT customer service. We loved that Rosie was so straight forward and real with us. Any wants or needs that we had were met. As a bride, you tend to change your mind A LOT. Rosie was happy to accommodate any changes that I made and even called me personally to make sure that the design was correct. She has a wonderful team, especially Isabel. She’s like her right hand gal. They are a perfect team!

ET Cakes provided us with a lasting memory because the cake was everything that we could have asked for and was the focal point of our room. Now let’s not forget that we received so many compliments from our family and friends. Everyone said that it was the best wedding cake that they have ever had. Their cakes are gorgeous, beautiful, classy, not to mention TASTY! The moment I walked in the bakery I knew I was in for a treat at the tasting. Honestly every single flavor given was spectacular!! Our wedding cake was a work of art! Its hand scrolled design was beautifully accented by small orchids on various layers of the cake. Inside the cake it was moist with a wonderful flavor of the traditional white layers as well as key lime. They were flexible to bring your ideas to life. Elegant temptations made us a fabulous cake! The tasting experience was great. We settled on a vanilla cake with cream cheese filling and buttercream frosting-- it was beyond delicious- I almost ate our entire top tier before we were able to freeze it!! The taste of ET cakes is out of this world amazing. We went with a buttercream cake and it was so smooth and clean you would have thought it was fondant. Our guest said they normally hate wedding cakes, but when they tasted ours they were in awe. Rosie, has so many delicious flavors to choose from that it was so hard for us to pick a flavor. I did not even go to another cake tasting because I knew no one would compare to ET. Our cake was not only beautiful but it tasted phenomenal.

Our cake was exactly what we wanted. We felt like we got a beautiful cake for a great value. Classic, beautiful, and delicious!! Very professional and responsive.

The cake was amazing. I don't really like cake so I'm not a great judge but we got a ton positive feedback. The did such a beautiful job and went the extra mile without me having to ask. Would recommend to anyone.

Elegant Temptations was included in our wedding package at the National Hotel. We had two vendors to choose from and we went with them.We started off by setting a tasting and going through all the possible options and Godiva marble was it! Our package included the three tier cake, butter cream we had no need to pay extra for anything.

The owner was very professional and walk us through our entire session. She has a great selection of flavors and designs to choose from.

Rosie and Isabel are just amazing. They are the nicest people ever. My daughter's dessert table at the wedding was just to die for. Everyone was in amazement and everyone is still talking about it. The desserts were delicious. Thanks for everything!

My cake was so elegant beautifully done. The details on our cake were flawless. I highly recommend getting a cake topper which adds a nice touch to your cake and also personalizes it. Great job!!!

Where do I even begin with Elegant Temptations?! Our venue recommended them as one of our 3 cake vendor options, the other 2 being vendors that are quite popular in the wedding industry. My fiance and I decided to make appointments with all 3, ET being the last appt we went to. I worked with Isabel from the moment I set up our tasting. She was so sweet and accommodating when I told her we were planning a wedding from out of town and squeezed us in on the only weekend we were in Miami taking care of wedding items. As soon as our cake tasting was done we knew we found our cake vendor. Not only were the cakes incredible, but Rosie and Isabel took such great care to sit with us and go over our options and listen to what we wanted. The times I had questions, I always received a response in a timely manner and had no worries at all. The day of the wedding the cake was not only beautiful but it was amazingly delicious (which in my opinion is the most important part!) it was amazing!! EVERYONE told us how moist and delicious our cake tasted! Many people commented that it was so fresh and you could tell it wasn't one of these cakes baked days before the event. I'm so glad my family is in S. Florida because I will be looking for any excuse to order from ET cakes again. Thank you ET Cakes!!

I narrowed my wedding cake bakery search down to 3 popular cake designers in the Miami area. I chose Elegant Temptations because their pricing was more competitive than the others and because of their beautiful photos on the website. They were very responsive via email and although my fiancé and I were embarrassingly late to our tasting (traffic!), Rosie was very sweet and stayed late to take her time with us. I'm really not a cake person but wow! every flavor was just amazingly delicious, it was so hard to decide. Rosie has elegant and modern taste which is surprisingly hard to find in Miami. I was very direct about what I wanted, and explained how I wanted each layer. She drew a quick sketch and I knew I could trust her with the design. The cake was even more perfect than I had envisioned, it was amazing! Best of all, it was sooo delicious. My sister forgot to freeze the top tier (she kept it in the fridge) which we didn't find out until 3 weeks later, so we rolled the dice and ate it rather than tossing it and it still tasted fresh and delicious. One of the layers was bulging out a bit, but I think its because my wedding planner's assistants had to move it because it wasn't in the correct spot, so just keep that in mind during set up. I can't recommend them enough!! You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely great communication! Being a UK bride I found organising my wedding cake easy via email. ET cakes always replied quickly and were so helpful! I was so pleased with my wedding cake not only did it look amazing but it tasted like heaven. The guest were very pleased. I would highly recommend them. The staff is great. Thanks for making my wedding day so amazing.

The most delicious cake I have had - wedding or not. I wish I lived in Miami, not Washington, DC. I would buy more. Wedding cakes are not known for their taste. Elegant Temptations is an exception. I saw guests taking cake not eaten by other guests (who were too busy dancing and voluntary gave their cake to their friends not knowing what they were missing). If you have the option, use them!!! You won't regret it.

Our venue gave several options for cake vendors to choose from, and right away we liked Elegant Temptations because of their very attentive service. They were quick to give us an appointment, mailed us a list of all available options to look at before hand, and then had 13 flavors ready to taste the minute we got there - no waiting!

Their professionalism was really great, especially when compared to the otehr vendors we had spoken to, but when we tasted the cakes, we knew we had a winner. it was so hard to choose - they were all delicious!

Rosy walked us through all our options, helped us design our dream cake, and was very sweet and helpful. We got many compliments on the cake from our guests.

Amazing, the best quality and variety of cakes I have had in a long time. Went to several take tasting, Ana Paz, Eddas's, Dulce Vita, nothing like ET cakes. Customer service (Rosie) was excellent and artistic!!!! My fiance and I were so impressed with the quality of cake. highly recommended.
