User6130787 Sent on 06/23/2015Let me start by saying I do currently work at Elegant Occasions. However, I wanted to write a review based on the experience that I had as a bride when I chose my bridal gown, bridesmaid dresses and tuxedos. Firstly, everyone at EO is amazing, all of the consultants are extremely knowledgeable and attentive. Our staff strives to be friendly and helpful; half of them are accredited bridal consultants, something you cannot find in any other bridal store in Central Wisconsin. That being said, and while I do recommend all of our consultants to brides, I had chosen to work with my longtime coworker, and dear friend, Lori. If you are looking for someone to help make your wedding dress-shopping experience amazing, Lori is just the person to do it. She's not pushy, has endless patience and within minutes of your session starting, seems to be in your head, anticipating your reactions and working one step ahead to find you "The Dress". She is amazing. Really, everyone at EO is amazing. We are a tight-knit, close group of women who have formed a family and I am so happy that I met all of them and had their support and help during my wedding planning! -

User6130789 Sent on 07/07/2016I should have chosen this bridal shop first! I went to two others before trying this shop and it was the best experience by far. The assistants helped and actually listened to what I wanted. What's nice, too, is that they have a computer where you can look through the dresses they have so that it's easier on both you and the assistants. It took me a matter of a half hour to find the dress I wanted. They called immediately when it came in and they also offer a great deal on dry cleaning. -

Heather Sent on 06/23/2013I purchases my wedding dress here and when I found the dress I also found a nice belt that I wanted to go with it. I ordered them at the same time. So 5 months later my dress arrived but no sign of the belt so they called them and I was told 3 more weeks for the belt. At that time it was only 6 weeks until my wedding and the belt needed to be sewn on so kind of cutting it close. The dress was nice, not really any complaints with that but 3 weeks later still no belt so I called and was put on hold for about 5 minutes, the girl came back on and said it was there in a box that was in the back room. They don't open boxes right away? Also I was told that the belt was a Tiffany belt and it cost $200. Come to find out it was shipped from China and when looking online I found nothing like it under Tiffany but instead Christina Wu...false advertising? When I picked up the belt it was in a clear ziplock so I didn't open it, I just went home. When I opened it at home there was loose beading and a few beads actually fell off!!! I did not use the belt on my dress and it sucks because they of course don't take returns so I guess I will try to sell it. Also it had a tag on it but with no name on it....Tiffany huh? ya right.
Now for the girls working there. They are all pretty nice but they always seem flustered like there is too much going on and not enough employees of something and this was every time I went there. Another thing that sucks about that place is that only a certain few are allowed to process payments....really? so of course they all run around like their heads are cut off looking for someone to take a payment for them--unprofessional. I think they need to work on some things there.
We also rented 2 tuxes from there and no complaints on those, they were there on time and fit great. -

Emily Sent on 08/12/2013Great place but very unorganized. They lost many of our measurements for tuxes and didn't keep me updated on who needed to be fitted. Were able to get things in on short notice.
