Great experience with Elegant Ensembles!
We loved working with Mark and having his ensemble play at our wedding and cocktail hour! They have an expansive repertoire ranging from classics to pop covers and Mark provided great guidance to help us narrow down our music selections. Super accommodating when we wanted to add a third player just a few weeks out from our wedding. We were so glad to have the musicians set the soundtrack to our ceremony and cocktail hour - really added an extra something special to make it truly an elegant affair. Mark was extremely responsive, professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend Elegant Ensembles for your event! -

Provided great Ambiance
We hired the the team at Elegant Ensembles to provide the environment for our daughter's wedding in Jan 2021. Their light-handed style provided a wonderful backdrop to a beautiful ceremony. Elegant is appropriate in describing the mood that they help set. They were very flexible in our choices, as we made several "last-week" changes to our play list. We strongly recommend Elegant Ensembles to anyone looking for someone to establish a soothing ambiance to your event. -

Talented artists!
A string duo from Elegant Ensembles played our ceremony music for a small backyard wedding. Mark was great to work with and always very quick to respond. It was easy to use their online platform to select songs for each part of the ceremony. The musicians were professional and the duo was perfect for an intimate COVID-friendly gathering. Don’t hesitate to hire this team! -

Wonderful Experience- would definitely recommend
I used Elegant Ensembles for my sister's wedding. We had a string trio and they were fantastic. Mark was very helpful with planning and suggestions. They were also able to play a requested song for us. Will definitely use again. They were professional and not very expensive! -

Amazing experience!

Mark was very responsive and helpful. The online portal was easy to use. The day of the wedding the ensemble was amazing and played beautifully. We had a light game of thrones themed wedding and they were able to play the opening credits from the show for our recessional and it was a huge hit! Definitely would recommend them! -

Outstanding
Elegant Ensembles was one of the best decisions we made. They did an outstanding job and were super flexible with the vision for our wedding. We had our wedding outside and the temperatures were a little chilly, but Mark and his team worked around some of the challenges of colder temperatures and delivered a performance that was beautiful. We cannot thank them enough for being a part of our day and would recommend them to anyone! -

Elegant Ensembles was incredible!! They were so organized and professional during the pre-wedding planning and of course on the day of the wedding. They sent me a link to their site to look at their extensive list of songs they were able to play for our big day, which made the decision making process super easy. Elegant Ensembles was a dream to work with! They were extremely responsive and able to play exactly what I incisions. I had requested a section of a song but it was hard to get the exact start right. Mark and his team and Elegant Ensembles were such a pleasure to work with! From the beginning when I first reached out, Mark was very quick to respond with any questions I had. What I liked most about prepping for the big day was the online portal they had - where I could go in, make payments, change songs, etc. This made everything so easy!
The music the day of the ceremony was wonderful! We got so many compliments on the ceremony music. I highly recommend Elegant Ensembles to any bride and groom! -

Mark’s team is excellent! The music is beautiful and is the perfect touch to any ceremony. I am not too familiar with classics and Mark helped me put a list together for the prelude. I also added some songs on there that his team hadn’t previously played; but he was able to find the music and they pulled it off and it sounded beautiful. I was worried about not having them at my rehearsal; but that was not needed at all. They were able to pick up and it all went off without a hitch!! -

Outstanding performance!
We could not be more pleased with Elegant Ensemble's performance at my daughter's wedding. The music was outstandingly lovely, and we were highly impressed with the musicians' talent, professionalism and presentation.

I was only going to have a dj and my coordinator told me about this awesome company that performed for a ceremony for a wedding she coordinated. I’m so glad we found them. The live, string trio was such an amazing and emotional touch for our ceremony. It sounded amazing, they have a huge library of songs, you select everything on an online profile so the whole process was easy. -

Wonderful Experience - Beautiful Music!
We were struggling to find musicians for our outdoor wedding in May 2018. After some searching, we found Elegant Ensembles and are so glad that we did! They were easy to work with and did a wonderful job with the music. As the bride I was sad I didn't get to hear all of their songs and was so excited to watch our wedding video to re-live them again. Excellent Ceremony music
Mark from Elegant Ensembles was great to work with when planning my wedding ceremony music. Elegant Ensembles online library of music and selection tool was really easy to use and they have a great mix of classical and modern songs in their repertoire. Mark also worked with our soloist to accompany her during the ceremony. The string trio was the perfect addition to our outdoor ceremony and we are so glad we used Elegant Ensembles on our wedding day! -

Absolutely Perfect!
Mark and his team were absolutely wonderful during every step of the planning process and on the wedding day! The online planning portal made it extremely simple to view their repertoire (and even listen to many of them!) and select the pieces for my ceremony. When I had questions, Mark was very responsive to email and phone calls and made sure all my questions were addressed in a timely fashion.
As for the music - unbelievable! I have had a dream of walking down the aisle to Canon In D for as long as I can remember. Elegant Ensembles made that dream come true and then did so much more. They were perfect!
I booked a trio and had an outdoor ceremony on the porch at Adaumont Farm and the trio was plenty loud and the music was very clear. It also sounds wonderful in our wedding video as well.

Wonderful Musicians
My husband and I chose a string duo (violin and cello) from Elegant Ensembles for our wedding in June. They played during the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. The musicians performed beautifully! Couldn't be happier!
One of my favorite memories growing up was watching an old western movie with my family call "The Man from Snowy River". The music in the film is absolutely incredible and I wanted it for my wedding. I sent Elegant Ensembles the links to the score and they brought it to life as I walked down the isle!! It was amazing! We knew from early on in the wedding process that we wanted to invest in a string trio for our ceremony, and we're so glad we hired Elegant Ensembles. Their musicians are so talented and clearly experienced in weddings - I didn't even see them arrive or leave because they were so subtle. They were very thorough and had us fill out a detailed form prior to the wedding to ensure that we were on the same page. They played the music exactly how we had asked, and we received a lot of compliments afterward about how well they had performed. It was one of those special details that we'll remember for years to come. Worth every penny! -

Father of the Bride here. I'd give a 6.0 if I could! Professional, responsive, flexible, and most of all truly elegant music. Worked very well with our wedding coordinator. I personally didn't have the opportunity to chat with the musicians, a tribute to how well and seamless the event went as they moves from prelude to ceremony to cocktail reception. We hired Elegant Ensembles for our outdoor wedding in August and our experience was superb. I communicated with Mark prior to the big day, and he was extremely professional and always promptly responded to emails. They had a wide range of music in their repertoire, both classical and modern, but also offer to purchase or arrange any song if possible! Elegant Ensembles played for our daughters wedding ceremony at North Ridge Country Club. The wedding was held outside under a tent so music was very important to set the mood. There's no better way to add class and elegance to a ceremony than to have live music. We hired a string trio to perform during our ceremony, and I was extremely pleased with how easy Mark made the process. I was able to select my music from a centralized worksheet on the Elegant Ensembles website, and I even got some extra ideas after reviewing their song list! Our guests were delighted to hear Don't Stop Believin' as we recessed down the aisle! I asked the group to learn an extra song, which they performed perfectly. Mark Snow and Elegant Ensembles was the PERFECT choice for our pre-ceremony and ceremony music. Mark is incredibly friendly and helpful, and their online music selection process makes planning incredibly easy. Our wedding day was everything we desired and more- I only wish we had hired them to stay for the cocktail hour!
With the size of our wedding, we opted for the trio configuration and it was just right for under 100 guests. All of our guests commented on how professional the trio was (it was a formal wedding so they dressed in tuxedos) and how much it added to the elegance of our ceremony. They have an extensive repertoire and were able to seamlessly blend together each song selection. Elegant Ensembles was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend them for any wedding or cocktail event. Their work is truly outstanding!

As mother of the bride, I wanted my daughter's wedding ceremony to be grand. And grand it was! Elegant Ensembles played an amazing selection of music. I spoke to Mark about the songs my daughter and her husband had chosen and he assured me that they could play them. I admit I was extremely nervous because I had never heard Elegant Ensembles perform before. I am a self proclaimed control freak so this was adding to my tension. When I arrived at the church and heard them perform, I was so relieved. The music was fantastic. In fact it was so good that the priest said from the altar that he had never heard such beautiful music at a wedding ( and he does a good amount of them). As a father of the bride and with all the details to keep up with in planning a wedding, music is not a worry with Elegant Ensembles. Mark Snow was helpful and responsive to all my questions. It was so great working with Mark Snow and Elegant Ensembles! The music at our ceremony was beautiful :) I loved how they have so many different music selections to chose from - everything from Bach to Coldplay! Their website makes it super easy to pick the songs that you would like played because they have previews for almost all of them. I'm so glad we decided to go with Elegant Ensembles for our ceremony music - they were the best! -

Mark Snow was very helpful and responsive while we were setting up our music choices for our wedding ceremony. The musicians were so timely! I am so pleased with our decision to have Elegant Ensembles provide the ceremony music for our wedding. The music was absolutely beautiful and was exactly what I dreamed of for our big day. They were very professional throughout the whole process. Mark stayed in communication with me leading up to the wedding, so on our wedding day I didn't have to worry about a thing. They showed up promptly, looked very professional, and played everything we had agreed upon. Their online tool for planning the music was so easy and so helpful. I could access it at any time and make any changes needed without having to make a phone call or wait for a response. It was one less thing I had to worry about in the planning process. Ever since I was little I dreamed of having strings at my wedding. My wedding was in September and I chose Elegant Ensembles to play strings on my special day. They did an amazing job. I feel like it completed my wedding day. I had people coming up to me after the ceremony telling me how great the strings were. They were very professional and affordable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for talented musicians for their wedding. -

Working with these musicians was a breeze and they were wonderful for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were prompt and professional on our big day. Their online web tool made it extremely easy to organize our music selections and wedding day details. They have a large selection of pieces available, including modern and classical choices. My husband and I were very impressed with the professionalism of Elegant Ensembles. I researched and listened to many different vendors and found Elegant Ensembles to be the best of them all. Mark was extremely accommodating with my musical selections and was very quick to respond with any questions that I had. It was very easy to navigate their website and to set up the order of the musical selections. When it came to the day of, Elegant Ensembles showed up early to set up and do a run through with my vocalist. I was very appreciative they did this! They were very reasonably priced and when I listened and watched our video from our wedding day, I am so happy that we decided to go with Elegant Ensembles as the music sounds amazing! -

We chose Elegant Ensembles for our October 2014 wedding. From beginning to end, the service provided was excellent. From the moment I e-mailed my inquiry, I received prompt and informative replies. My questions were answered and Elegant Ensembles was open to suggestions I had. Their online planning tool was VERY helpful and their online music repertoire was even more helpful. You can actually hear clips of them playing various music which I found to be really helpful in choosing what I wanted for my own ceremony. I would highly recommend this group. They came to the wedding dressed very professionally. Everything went perfectly. They also played for our cocktail hour and we had numerous compliments from guests regarding our ceremony music and cocktail hour music. Thank you Elegant Ensembles for being a part of our day! -

We used Elegant Ensembles for our wedding ceremony and everything went swimmingly. We had a Trio booked, which included a violin, viola and cello. They played half an hour of prelude music prior to the ceremony, the ceremony music, and then a recessional and postlude song. The booking process was super easy and the music selection, based on their online repertoire and user-friendly selection software, was very helpful. We were able to specify the song list, when we wanted each song played, and the specific people who will be walking to each song. During the preparation process, Mark was extremely accessible and helpful. On the actual day, the musicians arrived promptly, were dressed sharply, and performed the ceremony music wonderfully and flawlessly. Will definitely recommend to anyone planning a wedding in the Triangle area. -

Mark and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. The online portal made it very easy to pick out the songs we wanted for our ceremony. We had a string trio for an outside ceremony, and it was perfect for the setting. After hearing their work on their website and reading their reviews, they were one of the few things I was not worried about at all that day! We had an amazing experience! Elegant Ensembles led by Mark was professional and timely during the whole process. We had a string trio perform at our wedding with trumpet. The guests complimented all night long how the trumpet filled the garden and performed wonderfully with the strings. Mark even had a special piece from a movie arranged for our ceremony. We used Elegant Ensembles string trio for our wedding ceremony. They had been recommended to us from our church music director and we are so glad we had them. Mark was incredibly quick to respond to emails and requests. They played the songs we requested beautifully and even learned a piece out of their repertoire (All Good Gifts from Godspell). It was truly lovely having these musicians play as our guests entered and throughout our ceremony. We have the audio and the video and look back fondly on the beautiful, classic music at our wedding. We were so pleased! -

The only thing that I ever envisioned for my wedding was my bridal procession song played by a string ensemble. After reviewing local groups and their music samples, I discovered that Elegant Ensembles was the perfect group for my wedding given their tasteful, classic, and professional presentation and well balanced music performance. I had a couple of girlfriends approach me after the wedding ceremony saying that they "HAD to get the information for the string trio". Mark was flexible with the pieces as I asked him the week before the wedding to add a unique flair to the recessional music… he did a great job!! They have a variety of musical selections and a long list of them, at that!
We had heavy rains on our wedding day and I never heard any complaints out of the group even though they were working with instruments. As I walked down the aisle to Pachelbel's Canon, I finally lived the only vision I had for my wedding. That's a lot of pressure for any vendor, but Mark and crew made it happen perfectly. If you're looking for a string group in Elegant Ensemble's area, you'd do yourself a favor to give Mark and company a look. -

Elegant Ensembles did a wonderful job at our wedding this summer! From our very first interaction with them, we were pleased with their level of detail and professionalism. They allowed us to pick our own prelude and postlude songs (including some from the Beatles...mixed in with more traditional selections).
