  Teresa from Elegance on the Avenue was very professional and a perfectionist when it comes to making brooch/satin bouquets. She is very talented and she will call and contact you to make sure she makes a bouquet according to your liking. I was very impressed by her talents, flexibility and professionalism! I highly recommend this service if you want something different and as an alternative to flowers!

  Teresa takes great pride in her work and will not deliver anything to her bride that is not absolutely perfect! Out of all the vendors I worked with she was by far the most genuine, supportive, professional, and gifted. From the initial inquiry phone call I felt as if I had known her forever. Her ability to see my vision and collaborate over the phone and internet was amazing. I always knew where we were in the creative process because Teresa sent both email pictures and texts showing progress.
  
  These bouquets are unique pieces of art reflecting each bride's personality and Teresa's creativity. Her attention to detail is unmatched. For example, I incorporated the first watch I purchased as a professional into my bouquet. She set the watch to 2:00, the time of our wedding. She worked with my seamstress on a very tight deadline to receive lace trim from my gown to work into the bouquet. She listened to my story about dragonflies and searched tirelessly to find just the right one to use. My deep faith led to a cross centerpiece on the bouquet. I could go on and on.

  The owner of this shop was amazing!!!She created 300 individual gorgeous roses for me to use as centerpieces at my reception and she did it with very short notice. Everything was shipped and received promptly and packaged well. The roses were gorgeous and worked beautifully in the vases and doubled as wedding favors. Teresa was superbly professional and stayed in constant communication with me so I always knew the status of the order. She also sent pics along the way and was very accommodating with my picky choices in colors. Thank you so much!! If I ever have need for flowers again I will definitely use this shop.

  I loved our bouquets! In fact everyone did. The fact that the bridesmaids got to keep their flowers permanently was just an added bonus! Many of the girls have their bouquets displayed proudly in their offices! The bouquets are gorgeous and each one so unique!

  Teresa was a joy to work with! She was very responsive and took great care with creating my bouquets, corsages, and bouts for my wedding! Each time she completed an item she would send me updates and pictures. My wedding is in May 2014 and she was able to complete my order and ship them to me in November 2013. She gave me instructions on storing them and they still look absolutely BEAUTIFUL! My mother and wedding coordinators are floored by how wonderful they look and how unique they are to my personality and my wedding. She was able to work my Great Grandmother’s handkerchief into the handle of my bouquet and it is Gorgeous! I have several friends that will be planning weddings in the next year, and I have already recommended her to them! You will not be disappointed when you work with Elegance on the Avenue!! I am so glad that I decided to go in this direction and not use a florist!!

  Teresa was such a God sent when it came to my wedding. Not only did she do a wonderful job on my bouquet but also was a sound board for ideas about the wedding and complaints I had with others.   Working with Teresa was the easiest part of planning our wedding!!! She was so thorough and the communication was amazing. She did everything in her power to make sure that the flowers were perfect for our special day. Not only are the the bouquets and tussie mussies amazing and unique, but she herself is a wonderful person. She is kind, sweet, attentive, and just all around a pleasure to work with.   Elegance on the avenue was amazing to work with. I ordered a custom tossing bouquet from her. She customized it and got it to me very quickly. My wedding is actually 3/29/14 but I ordered this a little while ago. It is so beautiful. I have shown friends and family pictures and they are already fighting over it! Its sturdy, all silk and breathtaking. I cant thank her enough!! I also ordered corsages for my mom, mother in law and stepdaughter. Its somethingthey can keep and will never die. :)

From the very beginning it was evident that Teresa is very passionate about her business and that her first priorty was making brides happy with their beautiful bouquets. She was always extremely prompt replying to my numerous questions and emails and her quick wit was very refreshing during the stressful wedding planning process! I actually think working with Teresa was the least stressful part of our wedding planning- she kept me updated on the progress of my bouquets, sent pictures, accepted feedback and adjusted things until it was just perfect. My bouquets arrived two weeks before I had anticipated (!) and they were absolutely stunning- better than I ever could have imagined. At the wedding, I had many compliments and already have plans to have my bouquet shadowboxed for display as a keepsake of our special day. I can't thank Teresa enough for her creativity, enthusiasm and raw talent. I would recommend Teresa to anyone and everyone who wants bouquets that are special, unique and absolutely gorgeous for their big day!

When I received my package I was excited to open it and see what it looked like. I was completely amazed, it was more beautiful than I ever could imagine. I also ordered a breakaway bouquet for tossing and it left a few ladies with a special memory of my special day!!! I would recommend Teresa to anyone who is looking for a special added flair to their special day!!!!!!

I was down to the wire (6 weeks) and I happened across Elegance On The Avenue. Teresa's designs were lovely - very unique and had an air of sophistication and level of taste some of the other designers did not have.
  
  I originally, wanted a plain, ivory, ribbon bouquet. But, I decided to add color and select brooches. Teresa was able to accommodate my request(s) and timeline. We are both in Central, VA and she met me to collect my brooches and to give me samples. She even mailed me color swatches and made recommendations about size and color options. Teresa is a burst of energy and genuinely loves what she does for "her" brides. She is flexible and accommodating. Her friendly service and disposition takes the worry and stress out of your hands and replaces it with the loveliest keepsake you will enjoy for many years beyond your wedding day.
  
  I feel like I made a friend in the process and would recommend her to anyone looking for a unique option in bridal and bridal party bouquets.

  So thrilled that I was able to order a beautiful bouquet similar to the one my daughter modeled for professional photos for Elegance on the Avenue.   My now husband and I met Teresa at a local bridal show two and a half months before our original wedding date. I had never seen anything like her bouquets before and completely fell in love with the idea of a flower keepsake. The very next week we had our first consultation with her. My biggest concern going into our meeting was price, but when I found out my bouquet would be LESS than a bouquet with real flowers (and I could keep it forever!), that sealed the deal for me. Teresa was more than willing to work within our specified budget, without sacrificing quality or beauty. All I had to do was give her the basic theme/feel of our wedding and her creativity took off from there! She even took pieces of my grandmother's jewelry (who had passed away several years ago) and incorporated them into my bouquet, so I had pieces of my grandmother with me during our wedding. It meant so much to me! Teresa not only created my bouquet, but also my bridesmaids and junior bridesmaid bouquets, our boutonnieres, gorgeous wands for our flower girls, and these unique mini-bouquets in a tussie mussie (something I had never heard of before meeting Teresa) that we gave to our mothers and surviving grandmothers. She stayed in constant contact with us through out the entire process and even color matched the ribbon swatches to our dresses to make sure they would match perfectly in photos. I would say within two weeks our order was completed. We were in contact with her pretty much on a daily basis. Words cannot describe how happy we are with her work. For any local brides in the Lynchburg or surrounding areas, I strongly recommend you schedule to meet Teresa in person. Her bouquets are beautiful in pictures, but they are GORGEOUS when you get to experience the details and intricacies of each bouquet firsthand. Words truly cannot describe how much I recommend her to brides. It was one of the best experiences of our wedding planning!
