Brought great energy to our wedding during the cronovirus panic!

DJ Josh brought an amazing energy to our wedding. Everyone was dancing and having a blast!!! He is really good at reading the crowd and keeping them dancing. He selected songs from our playlists and played them as we requested. We highly recommend DJ Josh and Electra Entertainment! :)

DJ Jeff did my sister's wedding two years ago, and did such an amazing job that he was one of the first vendors I booked when I got engaged. He caught on to the style of music our crowd was interested in so quickly, and added songs we forgot to request, and they were some of the guests favorites. Electra Entertainment also provided a photo booth, which was such a fun addition for us and our guests. Would highly recommend Electra Entertainment for any future wedding or party!

Jeff was absolutely awesome for our wedding! I happened to make a last minute change to a song at 4:00am on my wedding day and forgot to tell him until literally 2 minutes prior to playing the song and they were able to fix it without anyone even knowing! It was perfect. The photo booth was great too! Thank you guys!

DJ Josh saved our wedding! He was professional, friendly, and played great music. Our food was way late, but Josh got our guests on the dance floor early and made sure everyone was having a good time instead of sitting around waiting for food. Our reception could have easily been a disaster, but Josh took charge and everyone had a blast!

I had a small wedding and I thought that we will not have a lot of people on the dance. Well I was wrong. DJ Jeff played everything from Salsa, Bachata, Hip-Hop and Pop. All my guests had a great time. I will defiantly recommend Electra Entertainment.

Jeff and Josh did a fantastic job with our wedding. The photobooth was a huge success and music spot-on. My wife and I were 100% satisfied. We really appreciated how easy they made it for us to help prepare them for our wedding day.

The President, Josh Levine, was very responsive and connected us with DJ Jeff early in the process so we could get to know him better. He gave song recommendations and walked us through their online planning form so we could include our own desired playlist.

Electra Entertainment also provided us with uplighting and a photo booth - highly recommend!

The President of this company, Josh Levine, knows exactly how to run a successful operation. My wife and I ordered the Presidential Package where he personally DJed the event and we were incredibly pleased with how everything turned out. He is friendly, professional, and very punctual with all of his commitments and promises. His online forms make musical requests and event details so easy to arrange, plan, and submit for him to properly execute. While there are plenty of other DJs out there who may cost less, Electra Entertainment is certainly worth the value. We've had friends share horror stories of DJs who mix up countless songs, miss their cues, and fail to convey the right attitude for a family-friendly event like a wedding. None of those things were ever a concern with how this company runs their shows, so I definitely recommend checking them out.

Josh handled our wedding this June, and we were very happy with our experience. They provided an account for us on their website that allowed us to tailor our playlist, and do not play list, and choose all the songs we wanted for every special part of the reception. We picked some songs that he did not have in his database, but he found all of them for us. Josh did an excellent job of keeping the excitement level up at the reception- I don't think our guests stopped dancing the whole time!

LOVED Jack, our DJ. Was perfectly involved, and we keep hearing how fun our wedding was, because everyone old and young was on the dance floor! Jack met with us before the wedding, and emailed back and forth to get our dream wedding to life. We also had a photo booth, and our attendant helped our ideal photo booth guest oil come to life, there was always a line at the photo booth! Couldn't be happier w this company!

We used Electra Entertainment for our wedding at the Elkridge Furnace Inn and I would highly recommend them. The day of our wedding there was a terrible storm and Josh the DJ made sure that the music would still sound good throughout the venue over the thunder. We also had a few timing gliches but Josh improvised and no one ever knew that we were off schedule. Josh was wonderful at announcing the wedding party and never mispronounced any of our tough names. Josh and his staff were very professional and helped us with music selections and never played any songs that were on our 'do not play list'. Everyone had a blast at our wedding - lots of great dancing photos thanks to Josh.

We hired DJ Jack to be our DJ for our wedding reception at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel. He came recommended by our wedding planner, Aubrey Canale. We came to meet Jack as he was working a wedding a few weeks before our wedding. We could tell immediately that he was exactly what we were looking for...someone who was professional, was fun and knew how to keep the party going! During our wedding, he came dressed in the black tux and was prepared to play all of the songs we had requested. He also took great care to explain how the introductions of the wedding party would go and was careful to be sure he knew everyone's name and who each person was and how to pronounce their names. He was also very helpful in keeping us on schedule during the reception so that we had plenty of time to get in all the dances, cake cutting, etc. And most important was that he got everyone up and dancing!! He played most of the music we asked him to play and songs that we did not request were perfect! Everyone told me he was such a DJ and that they had so much fun at my wedding!

We were very happy with our DJ services from Electra Entertainment! Throughout our wedding planning, we worked with President, Josh Levine. Josh was very easy to work with and helped us work out all of the details of our contract before turning us over to our DJ, Jack Seghetti. Jack was wonderful--before our wedding he discussed the song list we selected through Electra's very user-friendly profile page (where the user makes all song selections); he provided recommendations and gave honest feedback on our special dance selections. On our wedding day, his setup was efficient and seamless. He approached us during our cocktail hour to introduce himself personally and ensure that we were comfortable. Jack took the lead in prompting us through each important event of our reception, from our grand entrance, through our toasts, to greeting our guests, and of course, through the dancing. He did a great job getting the party started and keeping it going throughout the reception via his song transitions and great MCing. We really enjoyed working with him and Electra and would definitely recommend them to any future brides!

Electra entertainment was an excellent choice for our music needs. They provided excellent service and they were very professional and responsive throughout the weeks and months leading up to our wedding.

They have an awesome online software that allowed us to lay out the activities of our reception and create a playlist of must haves, likes, and do not plays.

Our DJ Morgan was also awesome and really put in the extra time to make our reception extra special. He took into consideration all of our requests and played a good mix of music for our guests. We loved his energy and he worked really hard to ensure that he was pronoucing everyone's name correct and that we were satisfied throughout the evening.

Overall this was a great value and we had nothing but good things to say about the service.

The best compliment I think for a DJ is that everyone is dancing and that is absolutely how our wedding was. The dance floor was packed the entire time. He know exactly how to keep the party going. Josh was also excellent at keeping the flow along and was very energetic (but not overly). He didn't miss a thing that we had discussed prior and was very easy to work with.

Amazing!!! Josh Levine is a fantastic DJ, Emcee, and all around professional.

He did an amazing job with our wedding, he was able to read the crowd very easily and play music that got them dancing. He transitioned smoothly from song to song, and really ended the night well.

He also did the lighting which was absolutely stunning. I HIGHLY recommend Josh and all of his services. Very very professional and did an amazing job. Well done Josh!

Electra DJ was awesome. We had to plan our wedding in a short period of time (3 months) and Electra worked with our reception venue. Since we were so busy pulling things together, we didn't even talk to our dj until the night before the wedding when we were in the middle of rehearsal. It was our fault we had problems connecting with them prior but they kept calling to get the information they needed. We are a bit picky with the kind of music we wanted played, we had a very specific idea in mind. And Electra was perfect...every song they played was a hit...even my 90 year old grandma was dancing the night away...no one could get her off the dance floor. They helped to make our wedding perfect, which impressed me so much because of how much we procrastinated in planning with them. Thank you for everything!!

I was very pleased with Electra Entertainment who was recommended to me through our reception venue. We had Vince deejay our wedding ceremony and got many compliments on the music that was played. He did a WONDERFUL job with playing a good mix for the younger and older at our wedding. I wanted people to be up and dancing at our wedding and I would say there was not a dull moment on the dance floor the entire night!

I love the way Electra gives you control on what songs you want play and when. The website/account they give you makes things very convenient to set up your reception music. Thank You!!!!

I had the president of Electra Entertainment (Josh Lavine) come out and do my Deejaying on my wedding day, and every single one of my guest enjoyed the music and had a wonderful time! The best thing about Electra Entertainment is the personal face to face you get with your DJ. Josh was available for any questions either by e-mail or phone any time, and it was so comforting to know I had that!
I would recommend Electra Entertainment to every bride to be or any event needing a DJ!

Everyone at the wedding thought that the DJ was amazing. He was perfectly responsive to the crowd's needs, and got people who NEVER dance to get up and move out on the floor! Our DJ was Jack (we can't comment on the other ones) but he fit the bill perfectly. One quick piece of advice - if you are going to be doing a hora (jewish circle dance), check in with him before hand because the song can last for almost fifteen minutes, and some of our older guests looked like they were starting to get dizzy!

I would just like to say that Jack was our DJ and he did a fantastic job. We asked for an upbeat, fun, dance all night long DJ and that is what we got. He kept our guest on the dance floor having a great time. We have not stopped getting coments about how much fun everyone had and how nice and easy going the DJ was. He was very polite to all our guest and played the requests that they asked for with no hesitation. I would absoulutly recommend this DJ company to anyone.

Working with Josh at Electra was a great experience, he had an extensive library of music and allowed me to go through his library and pick out our favorite songs. The entrance for the entire bridal party and family was personalized and a hit with all of our guests. Josh and his assistant had my guests on their feet from start to finish. I still get compliments on the music, and would recommend Electra to any potential bride. Affordable and stress-free! What more could you ask for?

This was a unique experience because it took place all online. The entertainment group after contacting them pointed us to their website to fill in a standard template on the dances and what music should be played and when. They were extremely flexible and extremely receptive. DJ Joe was great. I would certainly use them again.

we were so nervous about the dj for our wedding. the music is what makes a wedding fun and memorable. Three months later we are still hearing how wonderful and fun our wedding was we want to have one every month and have Brandon as our DJ !

Loved how flexible they were, felt like I didn't have a ton of contact ahead of the reception, but still was able to use their online tools for planning (huge plus!!) We had asked that nothing too risky would be played, there was one song that as a little bit but other than that he did a fantastic job!

If we had to do it again, we'd use Electra Entertainment for our wedding. Our guests had a great time and were rarely off the dance floor.

We had a bit of a hiccup with our original DJ (his wedding was the week prior to ours and his return flight was too late to make it in time), so Electra offered an alternative about two weeks out. Although we spoke with the new DJ, looking back, I would have been a bit more clear on our wishes. We'd spent numerous hours compiling song suggestions for the wedding, including a selection of country. Unfortunately, we didn't realize until the reception was in full swing that the DJ didn't have any of the country songs in his system. It wasn't a deal breaker, but certainly a lesson learned.

We were pleased overall, but disappointed that 1) our original DJ couldn't make it and 2) we wasted time selecting songs that ultimately were not an option to play. Providing you are clear on you wishes, Electra is a great option!

Electra Deejay did an excellent job at my wedding with both music and lighting and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

In planning, Josh Levine of Electra was knowledgeable and offered a military discount. Electra's website to set up the schedule and song requests is excellent and has a huge inventory. Josh also sent MP3s of a couple of ceremony songs so I could see if I liked them. He met me at the venue one month out and brought different color lighting so we could test it out and considered carefully how to deal with the venue’s acoustics and also called the week of to confirm everything. It did tend to take him longer to get back to me than I would have liked; I’d often have to remind him to respond to an email a week later.

He set up very early. The lighting looked fantastic. He and I arranged cues in the music for the ceremony and it went perfectly. And he played awesome music for the cocktail hour and dinner and did a great job as the emcee. As one guest said, “I wish the DJ could narrate my life, he makes everything sound so good.” He even did a couple of unusual requests for me that were inside jokes.

Just two complaints. 1) Dinner started 25 minutes late. I think he should have cut the music to signal it was time to come in (and even gone outside where people couldn’t hear him as there were no speakers there). Due to the acoustics, it was hard to hear him announcing dinner over the music and talking. 2) He knew I spent hours selecting 50 songs I liked and we only had time for ~25. When he played 4 songs not on the list, I was unhappy. He said people weren’t on the dance floor so he was getting them back. Among 30 other songs, I know there were more than 4 that would have gotten the crowd going including one played at a wedding I went to the next weekend! If someone takes the time to choose 50 songs, find 30 songs from that list that work!

Complaints aside, my wedding was so much fun and I attribute a large part of that to Electra Entertainment!

Wonderful DJ at a competitive price. Our DJ kept everyone dancing the whole night and even gave us a CD of our wedding songs. Highly recommended.

Amazing Wedding Experience!

We used Electra Entertainment for my wedding and it was a massive success!! Our DJ, Chip, did a fantastic job getting all of our guests onto the dance floor and giving us a night we wouldn't forget! Electra has amazing staff that is super passionate about what they do and are customer focused! We also used the photo booth service which was amazing for our guests to have a keepsake from our wedding! Thanks to Josh, Chip, and the Electra Entertainment team!!

Josh at Electra Entertainment was delightful to work with. He was prompt with responses to my music questions and requests, super-professional in handling a few awkward moments that arose during our reception (no champagne for the toasts, an unexpected toast...), and even let the groom come up to the balcony to karaoke his favorite song. All of our guests enjoyed the evening immensely and Doug and I got to dance the night away!

Electra did a great job with the music at the wedding. They were accommodating to our requests but made sure to keep the party going!

Electra Entertainment played a perfect mix of music! Both young and old were flocking to the dance floor all night long. Thanks to the team at Electra, the party came alive better than we could have imagined! (Some, I am told, were even disappointed when the music stopped and it was time to go home!)

They provided our up lighting and Photography booth. We choose them because they were supposively familiar with our venue and would know the best ways to setup lights. They sent some nice but inexperienced guys to setup the lighting. The staff at Eastern Yacht club had to provide them with the suggestion as to where the best to sent up the lights. They only arrived an hour before the event and then had questions for us... We were busy with pictures. The photo booth was so much fun but we thought the picture were dark in one spot but the attendants didn't know how to correct. They did help us create a guest book with the pictures by explaining that we wanted the guess to leave a picture taped to the scrap book with a note to the bride and groom.

Electra Entertainment provided the DJ services at my August 2009 wedding. We were impressed with Electra at our initial meeting and the value for their services seemed like a great deal.

I wish we would have gone with another DJ.

Firstly, the DJ mispronounced my name when he announced me and my husband. And this was after our wedding coordinator told him how to say it just 2 minutes before the announcement. He played songs that were on our "Do Not Play" list and helped himself to our open bar.

When we first complained about the service, Electra promised to send a gift certificate to a local restaurant as an apology for their terrible service. We never received it.

Save yourself potential aggravation and go with another DJ!
