We had the pleasure of having Luis and Danny as our photographer/videographer for our destination wedding, and they truly exceeded our expectations! Andrea was fantastic in addressing our inquiries and staying in touch via email throughout the planning process. As for the day of the wedding, Luis and Danny were professional and seamlessly provided a structure to capture the moments of our big day. Their genuine desire to preserve the special moments was evident. As for the photos themselves, we absolutely love them and will cherish them forever. We are impressed with the quality, amount, and turnaround time for the photos (video to come later). Overall, we highly recommend El Velo!El Velo Photography's reply:

We wanted to do pictures for our 10th anniversary at a waterfall then back at our resort on the beach. Luis was our photographer and he met us at the waterfall. He had great ideas for poses for pictures and great angles. He was attentive to anything we asked him to take a picture of. There is not one picture I don't absolutely love. Our phones did not have good service in Costa Rica so I emailed the company to let them know and get set everything up letting me know who would be our photographer and send a picture of who to look for. Everything was outstanding from start to finish. I can't recommend this company highly enough! Luis's attention to detail in the pictures was amazing. Planning a wedding from a different country can be stressful and difficult. We found El Velo Photography via WeddingWire and after looking at the portfolios and the great price points, we decided to go with them. And what a GREAT choice. Our photographer, Luis, was on time and very personable. We mentioned this was our first time being professionally photographed, so we were a bit nervous and he was awesome. He guided us to different poses and made us all feel very comfortable. We were racing against the sunset to get some shots on the beach and he completely took over the situation and the results were absolutely beautiful. Communication via email with El Velo was clear, concise and as mentioned above, the price point is much smaller than competitors for more time. We would 100% recommend El Velo and especially Luis to handle your wedding or other special moments with ease and professionalism.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Luis, who truly exceeded my expectations. From the very first interaction to the final delivery of our breathtaking wedding pictures, Luis was able to capture every magical moment.
One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was Luis's attention to detail. He had an incredible eye for spotting the smallest details that added depth and beauty to each photograph. Whether it was capturing the delicate flower on my dress, or the heartfelt expressions on our faces.
The final product, our pictures, is a masterpiece in itself. The pictures are simply stunning, each one so evoking. Luis skillfully managed to capture the essence of our love story in a collection of images that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Beyond his undeniable talent, what truly set Luis apart was his warm and friendly demeanor. He effortlessly made us feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. His ability to connect with us allowed for natural and authentic pictures.

Our photographers Danny and Luis were an amazing team who worked very diligently and well together to not only capture beautiful photos, but also to make us feel more relaxed! During the hour with them they felt like friends who really cared about what we wanted for our photo shoot. The photos turned out amazing. We haven’t seen the video yet, but are sure it will not disappoint us! El Velo Photography was a dream to work with and we couldn't be happier with our experience with them. Before contacting, we were so impressed with the photos we saw them take at previous weddings at our wedding venue, so we knew we had to book with them. Communication back and forth via email was easy, and the staff was always friendly and informative. We specifically asked for the photographer Luis, and when we met him during our wedding he was such a joy. He was so warm/sincere, he knew where to go to get the most magical photos at our wedding venue, and he knew exactly what we were looking for. I was stunned to see the photos he sent us -- they came out 10x even more wonderful than we expected. We are so happy with our experience with El Velo Photography. Photography and Videography at it's BEST!!
This company is amazing, I had a destination wedding in Costa Rica, it was new to me and trying to figure everything out, I forgot a couple things. Two weeks before flying out, we forgot about booking the photography!! The resort were we staying at provided photography but not videography and I really wanted to capture family on video. Luckily my sister in-law did some searching and found El Velo! Their work is amazing, responded in a timely manner and prices were awesome but the experience was more than I could ever imagine!!
Danny and Luis are the dream team, we had other wedding issues happen through out the day but they made everything better!!
Danny and Luis personalities were so welcoming and made the family feel at home.
A huge, Thank you to the guys and the wonderful lady behind it all, Andrea!
We received our sneak- peaks and lets just say it brought tears to my eyes that they captured the beautiful moments on our special day!!
The over all experience was amazing and this team has great communication, beautiful work and top notch customer service!!
I HIGHLY recommend El Velo Photography and Videography, you will not be disappointed!!
We plan to go back for our 1 year anniversary, we will see yall then!!

Worth the Investment
Luis was amazing and I would highly recommend El Velo Photography to anyone in need of a photographer or videographer. If you are planning your wedding you know how difficult it is to make a decision about almost everything. We chose El Velo and it was the best decision ever, Luis was great throughout the whole experience, super friendly and professional. He not only did his job but went above and beyond to make sure we were getting the pictures we wanted and he made sure we felt comfortable all the time. Everything was perfect!
From start to finish everything was Great! Luis was super easy to work with and nailed every photo! My original hair and makeup person cancelled on me so we had to change times a little and he was super relaxed about it! My fiance isn't a lover of taking lots of photos and he even got him to smile and enjoy it lol! Our engagement photos turned out picture perfect! Can not wait for the wedding! Luis did a wonderful job capturing our wedding in beautiful professional photos. We couldn’t be more happy with the results. He was creative, energetic, and went over and above to make sure he captured the best photos. The golf cart that we were suppose to use on the resort broke down which lead us to have to walk 25 minutes down to the beach and then back up again in the pouring rain. Luis didn’t even hesitate to start lugging all his equipment down to the beach by hand, in the rain to get the beach photo we wanted. We would highly recommend Luis!El Velo Photography's reply:

We originally planned our Costa Rican wedding over a year ago and it got postponed twice due to Covid. El Velo photography was so accommodating and flexible. They changed dates for me twice. The night before our wedding we had to postpone the ceremony for an hour and they didn’t mind at all. Luis came out and did a fantastic job. We have so many gorgeous pictures. It started pouring rain in the middle of our photo session and he continued to provide us with the best ideas for different shots. I am speechless at the beauty of these photos.
