Nicole and Catherine were phenomenal. They worked in tandem with us to tailor the ceremony and reception to our budget and preferences, ultimately exceeding our expectations. They even successfully accommodated a last-minute request for a rehearsal dinner for 30 people. The staff delivered outstanding service, and most importantly, we experienced an extraordinary wedding day that was as beautiful as it was memorable.

El Dorado = Dream Wedding Venue
The El Dorado Park Golf Course was such an amazing venue for our wedding. It was the first venue we looked at as a newly- engaged couple and the only one we needed to see. It is a perfect balance of value and quality, which is very tough to find in the LA area. The venue is a very adaptable canvas that can transform into any wedding theme that you are looking for. In our case, it was a garden/Lothorian theme and the venue exceeded our expectations. We were blown away when we saw the venue all set up on our wedding day. Catherine, Cindy and the El Dorado events team were also amazing to work with. They were super responsive to any question we had and made sure every detail of our dream wedding was covered. They were so pleasant to collaborate with during the entire planning process, all the way up to the day of the wedding. All of our guests loved the venue/wedding and we can't thank the El Dorado team enough!

Outstanding Service and Beautiful Venue!
We just got married here and it was amazing. Great location, beautiful inside area, outside area for the bar, plenty of parking, beautiful view of the golf course. Catherine Chacon, the manager, is amazing, excellent support and communication, and was so helpful the entire way through. They also work along with you every step to explain the wedding planning process. We got so many wonderful comments from guests about how beautiful the event space was and the service, thank you again for the wonderful experience!

Great Baby Shower Venue!
We absolutely loved having our baby boy to-come's baby shower at El Dorado Park Golf Course. The staff was very attentive and quick with what we needed. The event space itself was spacious and bright. My favorite was the bar service where Christian entertained and made us some delicious sangria.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Catherine is great to talk to and very supportive throughout the whole process.

Amazing babyshower for our baby boy!
My husband and I held a babyshower for our baby boy due in February here and we had the best time! The Event Manager, Catherine, helped us with everything so we were able to just enjoy our event. Everyone was so friendly and the venue was beautifully decorated I couldn't have asked asked a better day. I cant wait until I have another event that I need to have there again!! I highly recommend contacting Catherine for any event at El Dorado.

One word that best describes my experience at el dorado is: effortless.
Last month I had the opportunity to attend a baby shower for my friends and everything was super easy from beginning to end and I was really able to enjoy my time celebrating. The staff was courteous and attentive, buffet style food table was great and I can’t say enough about the new beautiful tent this facility has!! Not to mention, the tent makes it covid friendly and is a great choice for any party! Also Catherine the event manager was the absolute sweetest and made sure every detail was accounted for. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing Venue!
I was a guest at a Ron and Jessica's baby shower on 11/28/21 and let me tell you how beautiful and nice it was! This is not the first time I've been a guest at El Dorado as I was there attending a wedding back in February 2020. Both times I was there, the staff was on point and very attentive. The wedding event manager Catherine was making sure the event was going smoothly and that the guests were taking cared of. If I were to have a event in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to book with Catherine. Seeing how the staff works, I know we would be in good hands to have our event at El Dorado.

By far the best decision we made.
Having our wedding at the El Dorado Golf Course was by far the best/easiest decision we made. They made everything so easy and made you feel like you had nothing to worry about, and we really didn’t! When we showed up for our reception, everything was handled and looked amazing and the food was SO good! I highly recommend them to anyone!

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding reception. From our initial inquiry until the reception ended, our experience with Laura, Kelsy (who has since moved on to another venue), and the rest of the El Dorado Park Golf Course staff was very smooth and low stress. El Dorado offers very affordable packages even with a large number of guests. The location is easily accessible from major freeways and is near Long Beach Airport for guests flying in from out of town. The reception venue itself is a spacious, well-kept tent. The weather was nice enough that the tent walls were rolled up, which really made the space feel larger. Also, in May, the sun is still shining in the evening which made for great natural lighting for photos from introductions, first dance, speeches, and through the end of dinner. In the planning stages, the office staff's communication was top notch. Every question, whether via email or phone call was answered promptly. And we were given courtesy reminders of any waivers or payments that were due so that nothing slipped through the cracks throughout the whole process. Thank you El Dorado Park Golf Course staff! We are recommending this venue to our friends and family for their events as well.

Oooh the memories at El Dorado
Incredible lifetime memories were created at the El Dorado for my wife and I. The staff (Kelsey and Laura) were very professional from the beginning! Clear and precise information was provided so there was no confusion throughout the process of utilizing the venue and they were able to accommodate almost all our needs! Working with Morgan to put on my wife's birthday party was fabulous. From the very beginning, she was courteous, accommodating, and eager to help in any way she could. On the day of the party, everything was exactly the way we were told it would be. She also was able to handle every request I made. At one point, I was embarrassed going into her office and asking for something else, but she happily did what we asked her to do. It was a great party, and I would not hesitate to refer your facility to others, or to have another event there. Everything was terrific. Thank you!

This venue is a great place to have your wedding or any event! I was looking for an outdoor ceremony with the reception spot on the same location. They offer just that! The site is beautiful and looks really nice in photos as well. Morgan and Laura are really sweet and super helpful. Both are incredibly knowledgeable and offered many great suggestions. The packages they offer include so many things that you would typically have to find yourself including tables, chairs, linens, food, drinks (including alcohol), cake and so much more. It is an absolute steal when you consider all you get for the price. I would highly recommend this venue!

Searching for a venue left us feeling lost and El Dorado Golf Course was a godsend. This venue was exactly what we were looking for and without a doubt offered the best value for the price. We had our ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour on the patio, and reception under the canopy. The food was delicious and the catering staff was attentive and courteous. El Dorado's preferred vendors list helped us immensely for the items that were not already included (and for some that were, like the cake!). Working with Morgan and Laura was a pleasure; they are incredibly helpful and will work with you on just about everything to make sure your wedding matches your expectations.

What was supposed to have been a small gathering in the backyard turned into a huge 75th birthday bash for my mother at the Pavillion! Morgan and Laura were so easy to work with. I told them I didn't want a million choices. I wanted it simple and without any crazy requests. It was exactly what I asked for...simple and elegant. My mother and all our guests were thoroughly impressed by the venue and staff. I'm thinking about returning next year to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday!!

This is an awesome venue. Morgan and Laura were so helpful in planning everything, accommodating us and answering our countless questions. The ceremony space was beautiful and the reception very functional and fun. So much is included in the packages, it’s great. They recommended many vendors, which all worked out so well. Great please for your wedding and a great price point!

I had the best experience in the overall planning of my baby shower with Morgan. Every single need was met with a smile. The venue exceeded my expectations of a tented baby shower. Guest were wowed and so was I!! Can't wait to host another event there!!!

Location, venue, affordability! We could not have been happier with El Dorado Park Golf Course and it's staff. Morgan Caban, the private Event Director, was beyond helpful. My wife and I had multiple questions and she was quick to respond to our emails. The venue itself is nice enough that only moderate decorations are needed. The affordability for the amount of guests that we had was incredible. If you are looking for a great outdoor venue please keep El Dorado Park Golf Course & Events Center in mind.

This venue was so great, me and my husband are SO happy we chose it. We wanted our reception to be outside and we are so happy we chose el dorado because they have the tent. The tent was really useful to have because during dinner the sun was not in anyone's eyes, nor was anyone baking in it. So being outside with the tent really made our outside reception enjoyable and fresh.
Morgan and Laura were very nice to work with and very flexible. They allowed us to bring in our reception supplies the day before (since there wasn't an event taking place) which was very helpful. The accomadated all of our needs.
The food was really good! All of our guest loved it. We chose chicken Marsala with red potatoes and veggies. The portion of food is a perfect amount, not too little or too much to where your super full. We had our plates served and everyone got hot meals.
If we could go back we would choose this venue all over again. It was perfect in every way and was just what we wanted. You definitely get what you pay for! And this was worth every penny

We held a double retirement party under the white tent and it was a fantastic evening! From the beginning, the staff was helpful and accommodating. They helped us through the process by answering all questions and offering helpful suggestions. We held our event on a Thursday night and it was a great value. The food was delicious and the setup was easy! Would definitely have other events here and highly recommend the venue to others!

I highly recommend El Dorado Park Golf Course. I got married after having been quite sick. I didn't have a lot of energy to spend chasing vendors. We were also on a budget. Needless to say, I was pretty intimidated and anxious about the whole process. El Dorado was the perfect place to get married. It was beautiful as well as reasonably priced. Most important for me, they take care of the majority of the vendors and have excellent recommendations for the others. I didn't have to chase caterers, linens, cakes, or really much of anything. Laura and Morgan were friendly and helpful to work with and worked with our schedule. The lighting and tent were beautiful on the night of our wedding, as was the ceremony area. The food was good and the service was seamless. Everything went more smoothly than I could have hoped, all without my having to worry about much of anything.

My husband and I recently got married at the El Dorado Park Event Center and we were absolutely blown away by the experience that we had. Morgan and Laura were fabulous to work with. Very easy going and eager to exceed any of our requests or expectations. We were in constant communication with Morgan and she was always ready to answer any of our questions via phone calls or emails. Both Morgan and Laura worked around our crazy schedules to make sure that our event had everything taken care of and ran as smooth as possible. We had several last minute changes occur as a result of weather complications and everyone went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding celebration was the best day possible.
The facility was the perfect blend of professional and casual. We loved the white tent; the decor, tables, dance floor, heaters and lighting all made the day very comfortable and elegant at the same time. The golf course grounds were clean and there was ample parking for all of our 150 guests. Laura is an Assistant Event Coordinator and was really on top of orchestrating the timeline behind the scenes on the day of. Morgan, the Main Event Coordinator, came by to check on us and make sure that we were pleased and to see if she could improve on anything. They truly made the experience so easy and enjoyable to plan. If you are considering this location and working with Morgan and Laura, we would absolutely recommend it.
Tim Coy was our DJ. He has worked that event location several times and does a fabulous job! Everyone commented to us on his genuine spirit professionalism and ability to read the crowd to keep the party going. He went outside of his job description to help coordinate the event and to keep everything on time. He was a joy to work with.

I would say to definitely book this vendor! It rained on my wedding day and they were very quick on their feet! My ceremony was moved inside the tent and it was more beautiful than I ever could have dreamed of! Morgan and Laura were very responsive to all of my calls and emails and made planning this wedding a breeze! I didn't have to stress about one thing!

Definitely go for this venue!
The venue itself: It is beautiful without needing to do a lot of decorating. Perfectly secluded from the golf course to minimize distractions and unwanted onlookers and enough greenery and plant-life to have for a outdoor wedding!
The Staff: Morgan and Laura were so great! They gave my husband and I some much needed direction and took care of everything. They were timely on their responses to emails and extremely helpful.
The Day Of: I didn't need to worry about anything during set-up or tear-down on the day of the wedding which was wonderful. The day went off remarkably well with El Dorado!

The venue and service here are amazing, particularly considering how reasonably priced everything turned out to be. We had a wedding for 160 people and were worried that if we tried to save too much money on the wedding, we'd make something both my wife and I wouldn't like. However, Morgan was extremely helpful throughout the process, and gave us several options in terms of what we would want them to provide or what we were allowed to provide for ourselves. She helped us break down costs and always had quick responses to any email questions. Having compared their rates with about 25 other venues, I couldn't have found more competative pricing for what they offer. I really like how customizable their packages are as well. Also, we had a reception in the tent in mid-November, and fear not, they were able to keep it warm. The staff is quick to respond and accomdate whatever is needed. They also can help you with vendors they're partnered with for things like linens and flowers. We had Diane from Pastels Designs do our flowers, and everyone loved them. On the whole, we received dozens of compliments that properly belong to El Dorado Park Golf Course. They made the place both affordable and beautiful, and we're so happy they accomodated us so well.

El Dorado hosted our daughter’s wedding in July, 2015. Morgan and her staff were a joy to work with and offered outstanding professionalism through out the whole process. El Dorado offers a wide range of wedding packages – with many options available in each package. We were able to pick the perfect package, along with some add-ons, exceeding our expectations given our budget.
Morgan put us in touch with her preferred vendors who gave us exceptional service at a very fair price. We would especially recommend Diane - her beautiful bouquets and table arrangements were perfectly executed – she was wonderful to work with.
The venue was perfectly set up and the service was excellent – altogether an exceptional day made possible by an experienced and efficient staff whose goal was to make the reception as perfect as possible.

If your looking to hold your wedding outdoors, El Dorado Golf course is the place to book! Such a great beautiful venue. We did both our ceremony and reception here. The staff was great, the food was great, and the coordinator Morgan was amazing. She def went out the way to help and accommodate us. We had our wedding early in July, so the weather was perfect. There are also great spots in the area to take pictures with your photographer. Lastly, for the size of our wedding party the price was great which lead us to pick El Dorado over the others we had on our list.

We had our wedding here in July and we were so glad we went with this venue! Our main objective was to have as stress-free a day as possible. Mission accomplished! Morgan, the event manager, was helpful and supportive every step of the way. She's calm and laid back, yet knowledgeable and efficient. The venue itself is lovely for a summer wedding. We had our ceremony onsite and the reception in the tent. The tent looks adorable on its own (think "garden party"), so we didn't do much by way of decorating. This venue is totally willing to work with you for the look you want. And I never felt like I was being sold anything. It was super low pressure, which is nice after shopping around and having a different experience at other venues.
Helpful hint: When they have a wedding/bridal fair going on...GO TO IT! It's a nice place to meet some of the vendors that work witht the venue and it's much lower pressure than the giant bridal fairs. Most importantly, after attending, we received some awesome incentives for booking our wedding there

Well what can I say. Morgan and Kevin I miss you already. I had my wedding here and it was absolutley remarkable. Every detail and second was perfect. Staff was very friendly, efficient, patient, and i could go on. You cant beat the price and everythihng that comes with it. The food is perfect, in which you can set up a taste test for some of the menu items, the cakes are delicious: the tent is newley remodaled and beautiful. I want to get married again puirley to be able to work with morgan and kevin again..i see a vow renewal in my future.. fabulous!!!

Morgan was easy to work with, very timely in responses to questions, calm and experienced. There were no glitches at the wedding or reception. All our requests were provided for. Many of our guests commented about the good quality of the food too. We also had the rehearsal dinner at the restaurant. The food and service were both good. The price was very reasonable.

I planned an December 1st anniversary/wedding reception party here and it was AMAZING. Kevin and Morgan (the event planners at El Dorado) are fantastic to work with. Such a pleasure to work with such responsive, professional, fun, hardworking and all around great people. They were very helpful with my millions of questions, were very open to meeting whenever we wanted and always had a smiles on their faces. The venue itself is great too. The price is unbelievable! The food was great (we got the fiesta buffet) and all their staff were very nice and accommodating. It's also SUPER easy to get to off the 405, parking is free and there's tons of it. All in all, I'm very pleased with El Dorado and it's wonderful staff. Would definitely do another event there in a heartbeat.

We celebrated our 10 year high school reunion at El Dorado's' tented Garden Pavilion, and it was an event to remember. Kevin, Morgan, and the entire staff at El Dorado were absolutely delightful to work with. They always promptly answered any questions we had, and worked with us to come up with solutions to any problems that arose. Planning a large event is no easy task, but the staff at El Dorado made the process a million times more bearable. Thank you everyone for all of your hard work and helping to keep us sane.

My daughter had her Wedding Reception at El Dorado Golf Course on 11/09/2014. We were very pleased with the service. The Coordinator, Morgan and her Assistant, Kevin were awesome. Morgan helped us planned the reception. We were later introduced to Kevin and he was great helping us out at the reception that night, also. They both were easy to work with, friendly, polite and very professional. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I was so impressed. Everything just went so smoothly and timely. The tent was decorated so beautifully. The food was also good. Our guests kept complimenting how nice everything was. I want to thank Morgan and Kevin for a remarkable event. I recommend this place to anyone.

I had my wedding reception at El Dorado Golf Course. The place is elegant, peaceful and exactly what I was looking for. My family and husband's family, relatives and friends truly enjoyed having my reception here.
The reception was perfect! The food and drinks were amazing and we got so many compliments by several of our guests on how delicious the food was. The service was also very good. I wanted to give a special shout out to Morgan who helped us get everything ready for the reception. She was patient, professional and extremely helpful. Thank you so much Morgan for all your help!
The price was also very reasonable for the absolutely beautiful view of the restaurant, delicious and elegant food and drinks and excellent service. We also enjoyed the tasting we received a few weeks before the wedding day. This was the place since we first visited during a wedding expo. Love, love this place and definitely recommend it!!!

As the father of the bride, I could not have been more pleased with the services provided by the El Dorado Park Golf Course Event Center. Alisha, the event coordinator, was amazing. She took my daughter's plans and executed them perfectly. The setting was beautiful and the venue was like a dream; it was gorgeous with the linens, chair covers, sashes, china, crystal, silver and centerpieces. The staff took care of any last minute details immediately and without question. The serving staff was incredible. Guests commented that their slightest requests were met within seconds. The food was plentiful and delicious. Alisha also made the entrance of the bride and groom unforgettable - zooming in on a golf cart! The vendors recommended were first class including the bakery which provided an amazingly decorated delicious cake and the linen service which provide the chair covers and sashes which added the finishing touch to the setting. Having shopped for a venue, this was by far the best value we could find and we were not disappointed. The proof was on my daughter's face as she was able to experience the dream of a lifetime - the PERFECT wedding.

Not a wedding but a birthday party. It was a very easy transaction. The managers were very professional and flexible, the staff was professional, prompt and polite, the food was great and the price was right. Highly reccommended.

El Dorado is an excellent venue to have your event. The tent and golf course are very well-kept. All of our wedding guests loved the food. Alisha and other El Dorado staff members all demonstrated exceptional levels of professionalism. All of our concerns were addressed promptly and they were able to work within our budget. It would be difficult to find another venue that could match the quality of service at the price El Dorado offers. We look forward to booking a future event.

This venue is ideal for those who want their ceremony and reception in one location where they include it all! Setup, service, cake, everything was wonderful!
The event manager was very professional and went the extra mile for us.

We loved it. Beautiful place, the directors were really helpful, and the customizability was awesome!
The only downer I would make apparent, was when I got married, there was no room for the bride to get ready in. This was my fault. They had assigned another party to that room and mentioned this to me. I just had to get ready in the office. So make sure to check on this. Other than that, we loved everything about it.

We had a beautiful wedding at El Dorado Golf Course. Morgan and Laura were extremely helpful and accommodating in planning and they heard us out even during all of the drama we experienced with some external forces during the planning process. The only thing that didn't work out for us was having our ceremony outside. It was pouring rain the entire week (our wedding was toward the second to last week of January) and the grass was flooded. Although it thankfully didn't rain on our wedding day (only the days before and after), we still had to move everything inside which made it a little chaotic, but that was on Mother Nature and not the venue. We knew it was a possibility and so we had a contingency plan. I really wanted a tent reception (half indoor/outdoor feel) and El Dorado made that possible. There's also plenty of parking, it's close to the freeway, and for me, it was close to home so I didn't need to get a hotel room or anything like that. Milo, their banquet captain was also super helpful on the day of and he really deserves some extra praise. Also, we planned our wedding in about 60 days and nothing missed a beat even though we booked late and had lots to do and decisions to make. All in all, it was a great evening and I hope to be able to book the venue again someday.

Morgan and the staff at the El Dorado Park Golf Course were truly amazing to work with. Things went so effortlessly and smoothly throughout the entire process, from planning to execution, they really made my wedding day a breeze. The food was AMAZING (my husband thinks the steak was over cooked, but its a HUGE group of people, I think they did fine (I didn't eat the steak but chicken instead, in my opinion AMAZING!). They were open to me stopping by whenever I needed to, I was able to call or e-mail my questions with a fairly quick turn around time. Morgan worked with all of my vendors and even had some ideas and a lot of pictures of other weddings and events so that I could get a sense of what to do with the space. We had about 100 guests, didn't want to do a buffet so we chose 3 entree options. They provided the cake (AWESOME!!!), and we had a 5 HOUR open bar (full bar)!! The tent "closes" at 10pm so we bought out the restaurant until 1am to continue our party! We even had a snack buffet in the restaurant for our "after-hours party" which was AWESOME. Had the bridal suite available all day and night. This venue included SOOOOO much and was the perfect price for everything that we got. The venue and Morgan (and her team) were so flexible, I really could not have asked for anyone better to work with. It was just so easy, and former brides are not lying when they say it was the best day of their lives! I can't tell you how many of my guests compliment it to this day, and how many tell us they wish we could do it again!!

We looked at a lot of different venues in the greater Los Angeles area to have our ceremony and reception. I've always loved the romance of a tent wedding under the stars and moonlight, so when we found El Dorado's event tent overlooking its golf course, we knew this is where we wanted to get married!
Chasity was an absolute joy to work with. I had a lot of questions and she was always responsive and flexible with our needs (or mostly our wants!) The great thing is that the venue provides all the silverware, dishes and glassware, as well as tables, chairs and the white or ivory tablecloths (or you can upgrade like we did!). In doing my research and speaking with other brides, I learned that tent weddings can cost a fortune just for the setup and necessities. It was great to find a venue that provided so much in its wedding packages and even more, a staff who was really willing to work with us and make our wedding stunning!

I love El Dorado Park! I always enjoy their restaurant, good food and service. I attended a Baby Shower and what a big surprise! It was handled professionally by Catherine Chacon. From the arrangement of the buffet, setting up tables and chairs, bar, music and decor. Her attendants were spot on clearing up any annoying pieces to our eyes. ie; empty plates, cups, napkins etc. etc.. A Thank you to the Bartender! we never run out of drinks and was so attentive and polite! Catherine, A Job Well Done! We will definitely be back to host parties at El Dorado! ❤️

We had our wedding reception at El Dorado Golf Course last May, and could not have been happier. Since my husband and I both have large families, we were trying to find something nice, big, and affordable, and we found all of that in El Dorado. The venue was beautiful, and we had so many compliments from family and friends on how nicely it was set up. Morgan was incredibly helpful and responsive to the many questions we would ask, and I felt completely at ease knowing she was helping us with our reception. The food was perfect, and our guests seemed to enjoy it. I would definitely recommend this venue to future couples. Very happy with everything they did for us.

The service received was exceptional and the value was unbeatable. The entire team absolutely goes above and beyond expectation. The responsiveness during the planning stage can be a bit stressful for the couple. Emails work best, but don't expect to have all the details planned out months in advance. But don't worry; you'll get the dream venue you want. We still get compliments at how wonderful the venue was, how great the food is, and how good the margaritas were!

Amazing! I didn't have my wedding here, instead I threw a massive party for my son's 5th birthday. After a disappointing start with another venue, I decided to drop in on a whim to see if El Dorado Golf Course could be a option. Within 30 minutes of showing up without an appointment, I was no longer frazzled, but instead had a really great meeting with the Events Manager, Morgan, who was able to work with me to figure out the menu, decorating details, time and date and available options to make this birthday extra special. They were able to work within my tight budget and all my crazy decorating ideas and needs.
On the day of the event, the staff on hand were great! The staff on hand kept the food coming and fresh, the tables quickly cleared, the area clean, helping in the set-up and tear down, great interaction with the guests big and small, and quick to respond to our requests. I couldn't be happier and I have a 5yr old who can't stop talking about his wonderful birthday at the golf course!

Morgan is great! She is very offiant and accomidating. The venue is beautiful! My only concern is that the security that we orgnally payed for was not doing his job. He sat in the car on his phone and one of my guest car got broken in to.

We had our reception at El Dorado and were very pleased. The food is amazing and the actual venue itself is very pretty!! Morgan was a great contact who helped out with all of the planning, she was always very sweet and kind. My only negative would be the amount of time we had to be able to set up the venue, unfortunately that is not a service that they provide and we had to have our Aunt and cousins actually miss the ceremony in order to be able to be at the reception site to set up. Aside form that, we had a wonderful experience and would be willing to host another event at this location. Thank you Morgan and all of the crew at El Dorado for helping to make our dream wedding a success!

If you are looking for that special venue that will make your "wedding day" memorable, El Dorado Park Event Center is the way to go! My son and fiancé wanted an outdoor wedding and when I brought them to this place they said "We don't need to look any further...this is it!" "It's perfect." Well, they were right. Our event planner, Megan, took me under her wing and guided me through what I thought was going to be a stressful process. She helped by answering ALL OF MY QUESTIONS whether it was by phone, in person, or email...her response time was immediate. She kept me calm, and organized in the planning. She helped me so much and was very professional. Our guest loved the wedding and especially the FOOD!!! Thank you again. I highly recommend this venue and their team!

The day of was fantastic! Everything came out better than we had imagined. They are in the process of remodeling the restaurant that is next to the tent, that guests have to walk through to get to the restroom. This will bump up the venue that much more! Occasionally it was hard to get an answer to all of my questions from the venue coordinator but she was always nice. She is probably really busy. The venue worked with our changes to their set packages.

The staff at El Dorado were great. The options were very flexible and they are very accommodating to what our needs or wants. Their wedding packages are a good value including practically everything you'd need from a venue. It was convenient to hold my ceremony and reception at this same venue. The parking is free, the food is delicious, and the staff are friendly.

Great venue, but you need to play by their rules
El Dorado is a beautiful venue, and it is a great value for everything that they do for you. Overall we had a great experience working with Morgan(who sadly is not longer there), Kelsey (who is bubbly, and makes you feel the way you want to feel as a bride and groom) and Laura (who is very nice, but very down to business), and would definitely recommend El Dorado.
Looking into this venue, there are a few things to note:
1. They will allow multiple events per day, which can affect your set up time. On our wedding day they hosted a morning event and we had a strict window of 2 hours before the event started where vendors could come in and we could do set up.
2 They are not the most flexible. There are certain things they will not accommodate, for example, getting married at a golf park, you would hope to take photos on the beautiful golf course, however you are absolutely not allowed to. Want a sparkler send off after the reception? It's not going to happen there.
3. Their food is wonderful, our guests could not stop raving about the appetizers and main course options. What you need to know if that they only offer group tastings, which is fine, however there are only TWO food tastings per year, so you need to hope you are available during those times.

I was overwhelmed with all my wedding planning!- trying to find a location that met my price point and had everything I wanted. Laura and Morgan answered my prayers. I wanted a low key event and they really delivered. One thing I wish was that during the hour of the pictures there weren't golf carts in the back. For me though it was a minor detail and I was able to crop them out of most of the photos. My husband and I had a very conservative budget of $5000 for our entire wedding which is virtually impossible in today's wedding market. With Laura and Morgan's help we spent just a little under $6000 from start to finish including my $1000 dollar dress. Keep up the great work ladies! ;)

What a fantastic venue! Great scenery with great layout. Great staff! Only real set back is the limited parking for guests. However, sweet peach planning with megan was well worth it and coordinated often with Laura and we didn't have to worry much at all!

The location is great. The ceremony site is right on the golf course and the reception site is a tented area right next to it. The staff was all friendly and good to work with. There was some issues with communication throughout the process because our original wedding coordinator all of the sudden no longer worked there. We were called by our new coordinator, but when I called back for her a few days later, I was informed she was no longer there either. We then had a third coordinator a month before our wedding, which made me pretty nervous, but he was great and worked with us a lot. He was very responsive and available by phone and email. All the little details were handled perfectly the day of the wedding, I didn't have to do a thing. Overall, I would definitely recommend El Dorado for a wedding. It was very affordable, pretty, and the staff was good to work with. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to!

Great meal for an affordable price. my event included 155 guests including sorority women and their parents and they all loved the food and the venue. Alisha did a great job and was extremely helpful.

I recently had my reception here and was very disappointed. I have to say the food was great, all my guests were more than satisfied and the tent itself was very nice. My biggest complaint would be with the staff. For over five months they had me working with a coordinator and three weeks before our wedding we find out she is getting married and will be gone the week before our wedding. We were fine with that, a little confused as to why they would put her on our wedding, but fine. A week before our wedding we find out that they booked an event that ended an hour before our ceremony so instead of setting up at 9am how we had planned for 6 months, we could not get in until 4p. Then the day before our wedding I happened to stop by the venue to check on some stuff and find out our coordinator was not even going to be there for our wedding. We had never talked to anyone else about our plans let alone been introduced. So we held our breath and hoped for the best. The day of, to be honest, was amazing. All of our guests had a great time, nobody could tell anything was wrong. What really happened was we specifically asked for no dance floor for safety reasons, we had a lot of older relatives, they put one down and we had a few people slip on it. The staff was supposed to put out our favors during the cake cutting and just as people were leaving my husband and I realized they weren't out and had to do it ourselves. An aunt was taking care of our bar and they kept coming to me for money, while we were taking pictures and talking to guests. In all, it was a great time but we paid for a service and did not get it. We expressed our feelings and have yet to hear from anyone. The Venue itself is great, especially for the cost but the staff is very unprofessional, or maybe we just happen to catch them at their worst.
