    Maria and Linda were so helpful and kind. I went in after work to browse for my Mother of the Bride dress.They made me feel completely comfortable trying on dresses. Forty-five minutes later, I left with my PERFECT dress!

    One of my bridesmaids and I came in looking for my perfect dress for my beach wedding, and we went back and starting pulling dresses for me to try on and my consultant, Janna listened to everything I told we about what I wanted and as we were in the dressing room trying on the ones we had picked out, Janna came in with this absolutely beautiful dress that was everything I wanted! I stopped trying on our picks and tried the one she had brought in, and my best friend/bridesmaid immediately started crying as did I and I knew I didn't have to try one anymore! I SAID YES TO THE DRESS!! They have the best lay away program to make it easy to afford the dress of your dreams! I won't ever go anywhere else for dresses! THANK YOU EDWARD MACY FOR ALL YOUR HELP, I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH!!

    I am a frequent customer of Edwards-Macy and always shop here for my formal events. They are now under new management and have all new staff. Everybody is very friendly and very helpful! They truly care about their customers; they made me feel like my event was their #1 priority. They also remodeled the store and it is beautiful! I highly recommend this hidden gem for your upcoming occasion.

    After visiting several stores in the Tampa Bay area, someone referred me to this one. I didn't like at first, because it is not the traditional "good looking" store - but her personnel really make the difference. I meet my "bridal consultant" Charlene Roxane (later - she ended up being our florist too) and she listened to every word that I said and found me the most-beautiful wedding gown. After I visited so many stores, and seeing so many bridal consultants -no one was able to understand what I was looking for - BUT Charlene knew exactly what I was looking for...I felt so pretty in that dress!!! This store has a wonderful staff. I learned not to judge the "book by the cover", you need to go inside, talk to these wonderful ladies, and you'll see how much they care about you and your special day! even the lady who makes the alterations (Ms. Johann) it is wonderful! I'm going to miss them!!!

    I have never been treated so well in my life! When they say you're the princess on your wedding day, I was treated like a queen. My bridal consultant, and all the ladies were so nice. They guided me to the absolute perfect wedding gown. They steered me away from a dress that I liked, but they said didn't look good on me. When my mom came and looked at the gowns I showed her the one I liked, and she agreed with my consultant, pointing out things that I hadn't noticed. Their skilled eyes caught all the details.
    And when my mom was in they found a gorgeous dress for her, and just the color I wanted.
    Their prices are fantastic, much better than the so-called superstores in Tampa or Orlando. And when you combine it with real local small town caring Edwards and Macy's is just perfect!
    In the end, I would recommend this shop to everyone and anyone. They made my wedding day perfect.

    I went to a few dress shops prior to this one and couldn't find anything I liked. I found a great dress and made some customizations to it and the seamstress was AMAZING and truly made my vision come true and for a LOW price. They sometimes had attitude but for the most part were great to work with. Great store for a local bride!

    I enjoyed working with Edwards-Macy overall, however, the dresses that were ordered for my bridesmaids had some issues fitting, but it was told to me that this is due to the measurement of the largest part of the body being used to order the corresponding dress size-- major problem when you have a girl with hips... her top will definitely need to be taken in (at an additional cost of course!)

    HOWEVER, every time I have went in, they have been very nice and helpful =)

    Don't trust the initial quote for alterations. They don't call like they say they will. My $50 alteration turned into $150 - blew that budget! And it was a VERY simple dress. I always had to call to find out when my dress was ready. Loved my dress and happy I had finally found one. Lady's were very sweet - but of course they were trying to make a sale.

    There was one older lady there who had an attitude with me the whole time. I feel like since I was a young bride they didn't take me seriously. I ordered 4 bridesmaid dresses and since it was 8 weeks before the wedding, we paid an extra $60 per dress for expedited shipping. I was told they would be in 2 weeks before the wedding, leaving enough time for alterations. They kept pushing the date back to when the dresses would come in and got a huge attitude with my maid of honor when she called. The dresses came in the day before the wedding at 3pm. I had to have the rehearsal dinner a few days earlier due to work, but if I would have had it that day we wouldn't have been able to pick up the dresses. A couple of my girls needed alterations but couldn't get it due to the lateness. Remember, we paid $60 per dress to expedite them. They gave each of my bridesmaid's a very poorly made, plastic pearl necklace and my mom and I earrings to make up for the delay in shipping along with a note that said, "Hopefully things will work out better next time." The main reason they got the dresses in on time was because my mother called and spoke to the owner who then tracked the dresses and had it hurried for us. Would never go there again. I had to buy backup dresses from a department store for the girls.

    Didn't even make it past the entry way.

    A few weeks ago my daughter and I made a special trip to Edwards-Macy so that I could look for a mother-of-the-groom dress for a March wedding. Once I told them why I was there, I was immediately asked if I knew what the brides mother was wearing. I shared that I was asked to go ahead and pick out my dress first by the bride and her mom. They quickly moved onto my daughter who shared she was a brides maid (we were NOT there for her dress). They asked if she knew the color and length which we shared. They said, "we have nothing here for you, anything you would want would need to be special ordered". WELL, we were NOT there for my daughter. Sometimes listening to your potential customers helps.

    We walked in to look for bridesmaids dresses, they told us if we wanted to look ourselves we should go to Robin Lynne's. We kind of laughed and they continued to be rude, we left within 3 minutes. Will never go back

    Absolutely atrocious business with customer “service” that is complete trash. In my 2 minute phone call, it became apparent that LINDA is a self-hating, aggressive, unstable bully (in my opinion). Would give negative stars, if possible. I was unfortunate enough to be subjected to two separate experiences with this nightmare of a company, as described below.
    1.) Short phone call with Linda to inquire about appointment, hours of operations, etc. It was obvious that she was not interested in obtaining even a general idea of what I would be looking for in regards to designers, styles, budget, etc. I attempted to ask several questions to determine if this store would be a potential match for me. All questions were met with curt answers. I then asked Linda if she would be the stylist assisting me during my appointment, or if she was the manager. With a major attitude, her response was “Why so many questions, HONEY!?” I tried to respond that I would like to get a feel for the boutique and what they offer. However, I was interrupted with “don’t worry, we’ll take care of you” and was immediately hung up on. LINDA if you are reading this, the proper way to address me is “doctor”, not honey.
    2.) Being locals, my mom happened to pop in to the same store to browse mother-of-the-bride dresses while she was on lunch. She selected 6 dresses to take in to the fitting room. Upon trying on the third of six dresses, my mom requested that the sales lady (who I can only assume was Linda, unless every staff member here is a total wench) write down the style number so that we may refer back to it later. The woman refused to write down anything, stating that she would just be wasting her time writing down numbers all day. She then proceeded to remove all dresses from the fitting room, even the ones not tried on yet, and told my mother to return at another time when she has somebody to provide second opinions for her.

    This establishment is a joke. I'm a bridesmaid and we ordered our dresses in September, the wedding is in March. An older lady who works there called to inform the bride that the dresses were not going to be in by the wedding. She notified her of this 5 weeks before her wedding. There was no excuse as to why the dresses would not be in other than sheer incompetence. They did not offer any help, or to compensate the bride for any inconvenience. They referred us to another shop, and could not even ensure that those dresses would be on time.

    I had nothing but problems with this place. First of all my bridesmaids dresses didn't come in until 2 weeks before my wedding, the dresses had holes in the lace(one had been glued to try and hide) & they ordered one of my girls a size 18 when she's a 12 so the dress had to be taken in 4 sizes & then charged her a additional $30 for plus size- when you can look and tell that they measured her wrong! Do not use them. &&& did I mention they are rude? What a crappy business.
