Loved every minute

Even though I didn’t get my dress here, I easily could have chosen any of the ones we tried on! They were all amazing!! Our stylist made sure that I felt comfortable and heard during the process as I had a large group with me! They accommodated our larger group! Everyone I the store was welcoming! There are LOTS of dresses to choose from so I have no doubt that any bride could find the one here! I highly recommend it!

I found my wedding dress with Kim today at Ediths and she was fantastic! She explained everything super thourally and was just the sweetest! I plan to work with Ediths and Kim for the rest of our wedding party!

When I called Edith's to price a wedding gown I had intended on buying elsewhere, Sharon told me that my dress had been discontinued for a few days and could not be ordered. As I hung up the phone, I had a minor panic attack that THE DRESS I had said yes to just 2 days before, was no longer an option. Minutes later, Sharon called me back and mentioned the dress at their store that they could sell as is and gave me the price, said I should come in to try it, and squeezed me in later that evening. So happy I went! The dress fit perfectly and once again, I said yes to my dress. So thankful for the wonderful service at Edith's, and glad I had called!!

Tom & Cathy are great at Edith's. My daughter in law got the most beautiful gown there that Sharon helped her find and she was stunning. Her grandma and mother and now she was the 3rd generation to get her gown at Edith's. My son got all the tuxes too. I also got my mothers dress and I loved it. Along with that Ediths did a rush delivery for a bridesmaid dress that my daughter needed. They were so helpful and everyone was happy with their service and it was a beautiful wedding. Edith's has the biggest selection of wedding dresses at any store I've looked at and their staff is very professional. We also got our tuxes there, bridesmaid dresses, and MOB dress. They were willing to work with us on anything that we wanted. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

I am very pleased with ediths bridal. I found my perfect dress there and was always taken care of by the staff. They were mor than happy to help me find what i was looking for, as well as offering water to me and my family that came along. For purchasing my dress, I got $100 credit toward a head piece. I wan't going to wear a headpiece so I asked if I could use it toward jewelry, and tey said yes! I got my bridal jewelry for free!
Happy girl right here, and my dress was stunning.

The service at Edith's was just right. I didn't want someone hovering or overbearing. They were professional and helpful. Our dresses and tuxes were beatiful and fit great.

Edith's has the largest selection of dresses i have seen in one place. Their staff is very professional and helpful. I bought my dress, bridesmaids dresses, and rented the tuxes from Ediths. They have evening and weekend hours which made it easy for me to make fitting appointments since I'm from out of town. They also offer discounts on bridesmaid dresses and tux rentals if you purchase your wedding dress from them.

We got both our bridesmaid dresses and tuxedo rentals from Edith's. They worked with us to assemble the look we were going for with the men - including trying a variety of bowties, suspenders, vest combos until we got what we wanted. We live in Chicago, but they were very accommodating letting our bridal party come in and pick-up their dresses and tuxes, etc. Would definitely recommend!

I went in not expecting to find my perfect dress; however, after trying on only five dresses I did! The lady that helped me was wonderful. She didn't pressure me into buying anything and was very helpful in finding the types of dresses I said I was looking for. She was actually the one that suggested I try on the dress I ended up falling in love with! They even let you take pictures so you can compare the different dresses without having to take them on and off again and again. They were the only place I went to look for a dress and I am very glad that I did.

I didn't end up getting my gown at Edith's, however I had a great experience there. Sharon was amazing and patient and even tried to find a dress similar to the one I liked at a cheaper price (the one I loved was out of my price range). I would recommend their bridal department to anyone.

found exactly what i was looking for there and truly was in love with it (bridal dress). My consultant was great the entire way through ven though she moved on from the company but it was right when it was time for me to go to alterations. My alterations gal, Carol Ann was over the top phenomenal. Very pricing, but well worth it and she was a dream to work with. LOVED her.

I had a good experience with Edith's. I got my dress, bridesmaid dresses, and my mom's dress here. My dress was a great value, and fit perfectly after the alterations. The bridesmaids all had alterations done elsewhere, but everyone looked beautiful in the dresses. The only thing I didn't like was feeling very rushed through the fittings process. My first and second fittings were very rushed, felt like a number. Other than that, really helpful and nice people, good experience.

My stylist was VERY helpful! I was very nervous about not finding my gown, and terrified I was going to be one of those brides that would run to every store with in arms reach. I told her what I was looking for, and she was able to pull styles and even suggest some that I hadn't thought of! I actually wound up purchasing a gown that I wasn't even on my style list! As far as payment goes, they are very professional and flexible. My dress came in 2 months BEFORE I was due to pay it off, and they were willing to let me still have the extra time, and my sash was due to come in AFTER my final payment date, so I didn't have to pay that until it came in.

My dress was so pretty and it was nice to be able to meet with the same seamstress for every fitting. So many compliments on my dress. Alterations were a bit steep.

I got my wedding dress from Edith's, and we also rented the tuxes for the men from here. The wedding dress selection is great. They have many different sizes so you can actually try on a dress in your size and see how it fits. Not like other places where they use clips to make the dress semi fit you. The customer service is also awesome. I felt like the staff gave me as much time as I needed trying on dresses and never rushed me. The men were also happy with the tux rentals. We were very pleased with our attire from Edith's.

All the brides in my family have always bought their wedding dress from Edith's. I loved working with them to find my dress and the whole process from searching for the perfect dress to the last day of alterations was perfect. The staff are sooo friendly here and always willing to help you. By the time I picked my dress up a few days before the wedding, I felt like some of the staff knew who I was and seemed like they really cared. They even brought my dress out to my car for me! We also got our bridesmaid and tux rentals from here as well and all the departments were extremely helpful and were just plain wonderful to work with! Thank you! You dressed us well! ;)

My dress was fabulous! Edith's gave me just what I wanted.

Alterations are very expensive and I had to order a very large size only to have several inches taken in. Unfortunately, I think that is the norm for bridal stores.

IMO, they should also have more evening appointments available. It is hard to get in for an appointment when they only have late night appointments 3 days a week and don't offer alterations appointments on Saturday's.

I purchased my dress from Ediths and was extremely happy with it. The lady that helped me was Carol Ann and she was very sweet, worked with me even when I had no clue what I wanted, and gave helpful opinions and quality customer service! I didn't purchase the dress the first day I tried it on, but went back later after I found it more expensive at another bridal shop. They don't allow pictures until you put money down, which sucks...but I guess they expect you'll try to find it cheaper elsewhere if you know exactly what it looks like and who the designer is...They did tell me to order up several sizes from the sample, which I was shocked by..I chose to order a 10, instead of the 12 they recommended and everything worked out just fine even without me working out, so go with your gut on what size to order! I did opt to take the dress out for alterations and was happy I did that. I met with my alterations lady at least 3-4 times in the city I live in, had it shortened, cups put in, steamed 3 times, and busseled for $100- the lady was amazing! I would have paid at least double that in the store. We also got our suits from Edith's and were very happy with that service as well! The guys looked great and had no real problems and I got many compliments on my dress.

Received tuxes, bridal dress, and bridesmaid dresses from Edith's. From the color to the style, we found what we were looking for and the staff were all friendly and very helpful. One thing that was difficult was that the groomsmen weren't able to pick up tuxes till the last day or two before wedding and not everyone received notice that they were ready for pick-up. Overall, though, everything turned out well.

I was able to pick out the perfect wedding dress at Edith's. There was not need for alterations since it was a tie back. My only issue with them was that it took them three visits to get my bussling right. I had to try the dress on the day that I picked it up because they ended up having to redo all of the bussling. But all in all, it was a beautiful dress and a good experience.

We got our Calvin Klein tuxedos and I got my gown from Edith's. The tuxedos were perfect with my bridesmaids' dresses, and Edith's was the only place I could find "diamond white" shirts to match the exact color of my dress. Other shops only had white or ivory available. One part of my dress bustle fell out at the reception, but that was easily fixed with a safety pin and the only problem I encountered. The staff at Edith's was very friendly. Overall, I was very happy with the service we got there. The only somewhat negatives were that I sometimes had to wait a while to be served when I had an appointment and it took 3 dress fittings to do very minor alterations.

I found my bridal gown at Edith's at my first appointment. The lady helping me was very friendly and listened to what I wanted in a dress. My dress came in super quickly too! So far I've been impressed with my alterations as well. I have my final fitting in 3 weeks.

Finding a dress that I really loved made the whole experience worth it, although my initial impression wasn't the most positive. When I arrived for my first appointment and shared the top of my budget (which was VERY conservative), the lady from the Bridal department was somewhat rude, telling me that the pictures I had brought in (more for silhouette than designer) were out of the range I wanted to spend. The manner in which she interacted with me was not lost on others in my party. While I didn't have the greatest first impression, my mom did share that she had better interactions with the same salesperson on subsequent visits.

Aside from this one encounter, I found the staff at Edith's to be very professional and personable. The consultant I worked most closely with, Ashley, was extremely down to earth and helpful. The seamstress that met with me during my fittings was also very nice to work with, and did a great job on my alterations. My dress looked beautiful!

My mom also got her Mother of the Bride dress at Edith's, and we had a great experience with the staff member helping us here as well. We tried on many, many dresses, and she was very patient with us, offering advice and support in running to get different sizes and styles. Overall, I would recommend Edith's to other brides.

I found my dress at Ediths - the first place I looked. Of course after finding the dress I looked at two other bridal shops to be sure, but nothing measured up to the first one that I found here. The staff at Edits were all very friendly and helpful and they did my alterations beautifully. My only concern was the pressure to purchase a dress that was at least 2 dress sizes larger than the one I had requested. The "floor model" that I tried on fit me well - if only a little snug. Based on this and my measurements I was recommonded to purchase a dress two full sizes larger and then pay for alterations. After much discussion I decided to purchase the dress in the current size but in a "wider" size. This dress fit perfectly, however it wasn't explained to me that the wider size would require a side panel that shifted the side seam on the dress. With the beading on the dress and the shifted side seam the overall look was one that made me actually look *much* wider.... In the end I'm sure I'm the only one that really noticed, but I would have been happier in the original size that I wanted without the pressure to purchase up.

I thought Edith's did an absolutely wonderful job. We got all the the dresses and tuxes from Edith's. They are very customer oriented and provide excellent service especially with the tuxes. The only bad thing I can really say is they had to alter my dress 3 times.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience. My piece of advice would be to buy your dress(es) at Edith's, but go somewhere else for alterations. Purchasing the dress was fantastic, but getting in for alterations and the alterationprices would lead me elsewhere for those services.

Corresponding with Edith's via email was great. I was confident that they understood my budget and what I was looking for before making my 2 hour trip to the store. They had 1 dress in my price range and details I was looking for. The communication was great, the selection for plus size gowns was not especially if you are looking to spend less than $1000.00.

Overall great experience, but some bumps along the way: we got everything from my gown, bridesmaids, tuxes, flower girl dress, MOB dress, etc. Stephanie in bridesmaid dresses is fabulous, and Jane in alterations was amazing to work with. Sometimes we had snotty girls at the alterations desk counter. Overall my main complaint is that I was told I was too "well endowed" to wear cups, so I searched forever for a bra that would work. Bought a bra that was not returnable for over $100; when I came back and said I was uncomfortable and this was the best I could find, was told to try and cups, which ended up working and had to pay again for alterations. Also some of the alterations are over priced--I paid $90 for a little bit to be taken in on the bust by my armpits.

Lastly, my sister got pregnant unexpectadely, and one of the alterationists was very rude, questioning her if she knew she was pregnant when she ordered the dress, if she knew she was preganant when she picked up with dress (she didn't), and that they would charge her a rush fee, My other sister was preganat at the time and they told her they make special exceptions for preganant women because they continue to grow and need to make changes closer to the date of the wedding. Once we complained that we were told there would be no rush fee because she is preganant, they removed the charge. Overall, stick with Jane for alterations--I worked with her later on near my wedding--she was very knowledgeable and helpful, while making us feel comfortable. Ediths has a wide variety, beautiful dresses, and way better customer service than David's Bridal.

Buying the dress was a wonderful expereince. They took there time, let me try on anything I had imagined and had a cost I was very happy with compared with other vendors in the area. I would probably not suggest going there for fittings and alterations. They do a good job, but are understaffed and don't keep appointments well.

Very courteous but a little but controlling. I understand bridal stores are very adamant about dates and ordering but they couldn't access the bridesmaids information without talking to me with every question. Which was kinda annoying but the dresses were beautiful and they always want to make it bigger from what I gather to charge you for alterations which sucks!!

Picking out my dress went very well. The only problems we encountered were that all my bridesmaid dresses were way too big for all the girls and then ended up costing them another $100 each for alterations. A few of the seamstresses were wonderful while others were very rude. Overall though my experience as the bride was very good. I cannot say the same for my bridesmaids.

Edith's has by far one of the largest selections of brides and bridesmaids dresses around. Unfortunately, these dresses are all in much smaller sizes and make it difficult for people of varying shapes and sizes to try on. It is also very difficult to schedule an appointment that fits into your schedule for sizing and fittings unless done way ahead of time.

Got our tuxes there- the guy is so professional like it's his life. Loved him. He really knows his stuff. I heard tons of horror stories about brides there tho so I didn;t get my dress there. They were rude to me and my bridesmaids plenty of times tho. They aren't all for us just browsing really without an appt. And theyre like any other place where the try so hard to get you to buy the wrong size dress- much like davids bridal- but i have no bad to say about the tuxes :)

I was extremely happy with the price and quality of the gown I found. It did need a lot of alterations which ended up costing more than the actual price of the dress but the quality of the work was really great so it was worth it. Their customer service could use a little work however. There were 2 phone conversations that were pretty unprofessional. They called once at 9 p.m. and wanted to change my appointment time for the next morning which I thought was a bit late notice but was willing to comply and then when I called to change my appointment time for the next week, 6 days before my appointment, they were unwilling to accommodate but finally gave in after I pushed back a little. They always seemed just a bit disorganized every time we went back for appointments but the dress turned out beautiful so I guess I can't complain.

I had no promlem with my dress but &my flower girl's dress ended up getting discontinuied & they never contacted me & by the time i found out about it we couldn't get it i was so mad that i ended up having a friend make her a dress.

I would not have chosen this shop if it wasn't the only shop in the area that carried the dress that I liked. Upon dress shopping I felt like the person helping me was impatient and talked down to me. She ignored my feedback and seemed only concerned with my mothers. If I said I didnt like a gown, she tried to tell me that I did. Aside from this, they do not allow you to take pictures of the gowns until you commit to a sale. I found this frustrating as I was unable to leave to think about whether it really was my dress. My first fitting was fine, but my mom had to tell the seamstress that she was pinning too high and the crinoline was showing. When I went to pick up the dress I requested one final try-on because the bra cups I had requested were not yet in place at my second fitting (which was a month before). As I was taking the dress off the hanger to try it on a final time, I noticed that the bra cups still were not sewn in. When I told the seamstress of this she was fortunately able to find the size that fit me and sew them in while we waited. I am not sure what would have happened if they did not have the right size. While everything worked out in the end, I cannot recommend this bridal shop.

I was really happy with Edith's. They provided a wide variety of wedding dresses at reasonable prices. However, when it came time to have it altered, they did not have it done by the day I was suppose to come in and try it on again. So that was super disappointing but they did get it done eventually and it turned out looking wonderful. So I might shop around for alteration places.

They were supposed to contact me when my dress came in and they didn't. I had to call them to find out that it had been there a week already. They were not very good at calling me back either. I already had my dress picked out before I went there. The only reason I drove up there was because they were the only store within 2 hours that had the dress I wanted, so I didn't really experience their service in that way. When I was dealing with them in the store, it was kind of like I was just buying any old item of clothing at any other store. It was just an average experience.

They did a great job with mine (the brides) dress but we had some issues with the junior bridesmaids alterations. Be selective about the seamstress you let do the alterations because some of them are very bad and very rude.

Loved my dress from here, although alterations took a few times to get right. However, big problems when it came to my flower girl dress. Had to purchase the floor dress because it was no longer available to order....the dress had several pearls that needed to be re-sewn, and we were assured that this would be done quickly. Then we got a call that the dress was done.....went to pick it up, and it was not done. In fact, the dress was back on the floor with no record of it being ours. It wasn't fixed, and from there we had to have them re-fix it at least 4 more times. Finally I stood next to the seamstress and made her fix the ones that we had talked about for the past 4 months. I was furious....and ultimately they did nothing to compensate us for all of the troubles.

My overall experience here was average. I went with Edith's because of the location convenience and am now wishing I would have went with my gut and drove the extra 50 minutes to the first place I tried on dresses. I did purchase my dress from Edith's due to convenience. First, the measurements; I was in between sizes so they talked me into going with the larger size, which in the end was too big even tho there was a corset back (I had wanted to lose more weight before the wedding but wasn't able to unless I wanted to pay an additional $200 to have the whole dress taken in!) Second, you don't have the same alteration person for each appointment, so you end up with different opinions from them (the first lady told me to get a certain heel height so I purchased a pair of shoes which ended up being too low for the dress, hence having to purchase another pair!) Also, I had purchased a belt to be added on to the dress and at my final try-on my cousin noticed the belt was sewn on crooked in the back!! Which then had to be taken off and sewn on again. Lastly, when it came time to bustle for the reception, one of the hooks was not there, so while walking around talking with guests my dress fell and I had to have friends safety pin that area up. I would recommend that if purchasing your dress here, you request having only ONE seamstress help you through the ENTIRE process!!

I was pleasantly suprised at the amount of inventory this location had. However, I worked with a gal who must have been in training, because she came across as not knowing her information confidently. Infact, a bridesmaid of mine, who has worked in bridal for many years, noticed a few things she said were wrong about particular designers. I also felt as though I got little to no direction as to how the appointment was going to happen or how the store was set up. I felt as though I walked around aimlessly for a bit. Fortunately we did find some bridesmaids as well as bridal gowns to come back and try again.
I would recommend this vendor to a friend, but warning them to go with someone who has done it before.

I was not very happy with my experience here. I felt very pressured at my first appointment I had there which was why I ended up getting my dress from here when it would have been more ideal for me to get it in Green Bay which is where my wedding took place. Many other bridal stores allowed me to take pictures of the dresses I tried on so I could compare them to each other in photos. This place would NOT allow pictures being taken unless you put down a $300 non-refundable deposit. They wouldn't even tell me the name of the dress designer unless I had put down a $300 deposit. I had never heard of that before either. I felt pressured so I put the deposit down which basically made me feel like I had to get the dress from them.
Also, I thought I was going to get my bridesmaid dresses here too but they required a $50 deposit in order to even get us a color swatch and that color swatch ended up being only about 1 inch x 1 inch. Luckily I ended up getting the $50 deposit back after having talked to the owner of the store.

I was NOT impressed at all. Was very difficult to work with being that I am out of state currently. I, along with all the others from the bridal party, did NOT have anything close to a great or easy experience. At least 3 of the bridesmaids dresses ordered were 2 sizes too large, if not bigger, and everyone is needing to get alterations done. The dress and these alterations needed have not been cheap. Overall, it has been an expensive and stressful experience.

I want to start out by saying in the end my wedding dress ended up perfect, however my experience leading up to the wedding was far less than perfect. I purchased my wedding gown and 8 bridesmaids dresses from here. Three times my appointments were wrong in their system, I am not from Fond du Lac and neither are any of my 8 bridesmaids so there was travel involved. One time I even called prior to my appointment to let them know I was running a few minutes behind they told me no problem, when I got there they then told me they had my appointment booked for a few days prior and would have to either reschedule or wait an hour for the seamstress to free up. Which they could have easily told me on the phone to prevent me from traveling?... Of the 8 bridesmaids, all 8 had to be drastically altered on the actual size of the dress besides the length (which usually has to be done anyway)... My dress when I went in for my THIRD "final" fitting (2 weeks before the wedding) the seamstress had taken in the wrong part of the dress and it did not fit and needed to be redone. I ended up not being able to pick up my dress until 3 days before the wedding... Each of these individual things are not all that big of a deal but they added A LOT of stress to my wedding dress process. Again, my dress ended up fitting perfect, looked how I wanted it to and I felt just as beautiful as I could have imagined, but my recommendation is to stay away from Edith's. I will never purchase another dress from their store.
