Amazing! First class and out of this world talent!!
I hired Eden Lane Jazz to help us entertain our guests at our daughter’s wedding. We were blown away the moment that we heard Stephanie sing! If you are looking for a fun, sassy way to lighten up a room and deliver first class jazz… hire Eden Lane and Stephanie! You won’t be disappointed and she was easy and friendly to work with. I would hire her for any event! We received so many compliments! -

Eden Lane is the best band!
We booked Eden Lane trio for our wedding ceremony and reception, about 5 hours total performing time. Steph was great to work with via email during the planning process. She was always quick to reply, had great suggestions for our music, happily accommodated our requests, and was flexible when we had to add more time to our contract. On the day of our wedding, she and her band members (Tarik and Osama) were on time, self sufficient, and had the best energy! Tarik, the guitarist, also performed solo during our ceremony and he did an excellent job, timing everything just right. Steph also served as our emcee making announcements for us and she nailed it. She paid attention to the time and was able to assess whether we needed to push back certain announcements when we ran a little off schedule. She's an excellent communicator and an even better singer! We got compliments from almost every guest about their performance and their style of music was absolutely perfect for our day. I am still so impressed by them and would recommend Eden Lane to anyone and everyone looking for wonderful live music and easy to work with people for their wedding! Thank you for making our wedding sound beautiful. -

A dream to work with!
Stephanie and her bandmates were timely, professional, flexible with the chaos that sometimes creep up on the day of the event. Their arrangements are great and I really appreciate the knowledge and care they put into their jazz standards.
Stephanie was very responsive to emails leading up to the event.
I look forward to working with them in the future! -

Cannot rave enough about this band
We hired Eden Lane Jazz for our wedding and they could not have been more fun! Stephanie’s voice mixed with this collection of top rate musicians played for all different parts of our wedding with a different vibe… select songs for our ceremony, smaller group for the cocktail party, and a large fun group for the wedding reception! Our guests raved about the music and we are so grateful for every member of this groups investment in our party!! Hire them! -

July 2024 Wedding at The Woodmark
We were thrilled to have Eden Lane's lovely music at our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. Stephanie was super responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Eden Lane's repertoire is extensive and we easily found special songs for all our key moments (processional, bride's processional, recessional, cake cutting). Stephanie's voice is gorgeous. Several guests commented on how great the band was, including our musician friends. Eden Lane added fun, energy, and romance to our big day. Thank you Eden Lane! -

Simply Amazing!
We received the most compliments about Eden Lane than for anything else! Stephanie was lovely to correspond with--like talking to a friend. The band was super flexible and was able to add additional hours and take music requests with what I thought to be very little notice. Eden Lane really helped set the mood for our wedding and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them! Excellent value. -

Amazing performance!
We hired Eden Lane for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and it was perfection. They were so accommodating, and even learned an instrumental of DMX for my husband to walk down the aisle to. Can't recommend them enough to jazz up your wedding! -

Incredible!
The challenge of having Eden Lane play our wedding welcome dinner was that I preferred listening to their set to talking to our guests! Stephanie’s voice is enchanting, and their whole sound was just mesmerizing. They even humored some very specific song requests. I cannot say enough about our experience with them. Book them early! -

Fantastic music by a truly amazing band
We hired Eden Lane for our summer wedding , and the band was absolutely fantastic. We would enthusiastically recommend them to any couple that wanted talented and professional jazz musicians.
Stephanie and her team were fun, thoughtful, and they truly carried our event by providing the most beautiful music during our ceremony, dinner, and reception. They always knew what songs to play, and they kept the party moving by switching up the tone and pace of the music as our night went on.
Prior to our event, Stephanie provided us with a list of songs, offered to learn additional songs, and provided advice on what instruments the band should bring for our event. She took seriously our preferences, and her advice was incredibly useful.
Eden Lane learned a Chris Botti song for when my wife walked down the aisle. Guests were brought to tears by beauty of the horn that accompanied my wife and her father as they made their way to the officiant and myself. That moment set the tone for the whole night.
They are excellent performers. Their style, attitude, and disposition really added to the ambience of our wedding. Our guests were incredibly impressed by the beautiful music, and they are still talking about it today. We couldn't imagine our event with a different band.

Romantic Jazz Music That Elevates Ambiance
My now husband, Keith and I envisioned an intimate, elegant and Parisian-inspired celebration in the fall, in New York City and we knew from the beginning we wanted a Jazz quartet to help set the mood.
Stephanie was very patient with us throughout the booking process as we narrowed our selections from the band's extensive repertoire and as we asked her help to emcee the reception with regards to the music (calling respective parties for dances & toasts, etc).
The band's jazz rendition of my late father's favorite song, Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver, was a beautiful tribute that moved the room to tears and brought the guests in unison over the chorus. Their willingness to learn and re-arrange a country song to fit the jazz ambiance was a touching gesture that honored my dad's memory and made me feel like he was there on my wedding.
When I look back on our special day, I'll do so with Stephanie's voice and Eden Lane's music carrying the tune of our wedding song, The Nearness of You. -

Great Band, Great Vibe, Great Energy
This band did an amazing job playing both our ceremony and cocktail hour. The vibes of each section were so different and so spot on. Such care in the ceremony and then a real jazz party during the cocktail hour. This band just gets it and truly delivers. -

Just the best
We could not have been happier with the music, quality and care of Eden Lane. Stephanie, the lead singer, played and sang our ceremony. She learned three new songs and timed them perfectly without rehearsal. The sound quality was perfect. We had their jazz trio play our cocktails. And their five piece band played our reception. They looked fabulous and sounded even better. We were able to use their beautiful mics for speeches. Stephanie announced the dances, cake cutting etc. so we didn't need a seperate MC. Our guests won't stop talking about their vibe, their sound and how great they were to dance to. We are so so happy. -

Amazing Band
Our wedding was at an elegant club and Eden Lane's sophisticated musicians and mostly Jazz styling were a perfect fit. First of all Stephanie is a gem ... Not only in her amazing singing talent but Stephanie was so easy to deal with during the booking and planning process. We used members of the band during the welcome cocktails (piano), during the outside ceremony (piano and a singer-guitar solo) and, of course, at the reception (full band). Outside of three songs we asked them to learn, we let Eden Lane do their thing......and it turned out perfectly. Even helped with MC duties. How easy is that!
We will be tracking the band as looking forward to seeing Stephanie and Eden Lane again just to enjoy the music.

60th Birthday Party, But Would Recommend for Any Event
Stephanie worked solo keyboard for a party celebrating my husband's 60th birthday party. She agreed to an odd, specific task: Play all Sondheim, all afternoon. She made every step of the process so easy and filled us with confidence, from signing the contract to choosing the playlist, to making payments. Her musicianship is impeccable, and her flexibility just blew us away. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. -

Could not have found a better band!
I was so grateful and lucky to find/book Eden Lane for our wedding! We had them just for the cocktail hour and they added such a wonderful ambiance to the whole event and atmosphere. Out of all our vendors, they were always the fastest to respond and simple an incredibly kind group. Steph is a fantastic leader and now wonderful friend! They were very very well priced and accommodative when it came to driving to NJ from Brooklyn, and changes last minute with a rain plan! They took up to 3 requests and played them for us to enjoy ourselves. We cant wait to see their shows in the city at husband & wife now! -

We wish we could give more than 5 stars, because Eden Lane went above and beyond in all categories. Eden Lane is an extraordinary group of musicians. We had them play during our cocktail hour and it was easily the highlight of our entire wedding. They put together an amazing set list that appealed to all generations, we are still hearing rave reviews from all of our guests at how fun and memorable it was. In addition to being the most talented musicians and setting the perfect tone to start the celebration, Eden Lane was extremely professional, punctual and totally self-sufficient. We absolutely recommend them, and hope to see them play again very soon. -

Stephanie and the Eden Lane crew made the process a breeze from beginning to end! Even before officially hiring Eden Lane, Stephanie talked us through potential options for our day and offered helpful suggestions. With little direction from us she was able to ascertain what we were going for and delivered 110%! Our guests were delighted and captivated by their presence and sound and Eden Lane really pulled the whole venue together for us. They were accommodating of our requests and helped pull of some surprises as well. Holy cats. This band is so immensely talented, generous, and flexible. A week after our wedding we continue to talk about what an absolute SCORE it was to have Eden Lane perform at our wedding. Stephanie was fast and professional with communication throughout the entire process, pointing out details and giving specific suggestions that we would not have considered ourselves. The band has such an abundant catalog of songs that they know, and of course -- most importantly -- they sound like a dream. I cannot recommend them enough! -

Edna lane Jazz was amazing! Stephanie was so wonderful and talented, I fell in love with her voice the moment I heard her sing. She was also so accommodating and even met me in person for a meeting. Today is my 1st anniversary and I am quite tardy with this review, but my husband and I re-listened to the recording the band provided upon my request of all the music performed that day and it did exactly what I had hoped for-it transported us back to our wedding day. Thank you, we will cherish it for years to come. Eden Lane was amazing, everyone at the wedding raved about the band. Stephanie was so sweet and flexible throughout the wedding process. They delivered the happy, peaceful and romantic atmosphere we had hoped for the day with a great set list and performance. We highly recommend them to anyone currently debating booking them for their wedding. Booking Eden Lane was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. I randomly stumbled upon Eden Lane through a friend’s Instagram post and immediately knew they were exactly what we wanted for our wedding. We love standards and modern songs covered with a jazz feel and they could not have been more perfect. Stephanie, the lead singer, and the rest were a dream to work with from day one - so communicative, flexible, easy, and they have an amazing song list. They played as a quartet, though she gave me lots of options to do less instruments/people if that suited us and our budget better. We had them play our ceremony (which we had specific songs and instructions for) and the cocktail hour (which we chose a few things from the list, a few new ones that meant something to us, and let them just do their thing otherwise - because they’re amazing). They could not have been easier to work with on the day of either. They felt more like wedding guests than a vendor. I still have friends commenting on how incredible they were and asking where they can go see them play. Our only regret from the whole day is that we weren’t able to split ourselves in two and spend more time at the cocktail hour to enjoy them. They truly made our Wedding that much more special. I’m so grateful! They are simply THE BEST. -

Eden Lane was wonderful for our wedding from start to finish. From the coordination aspect - Stephanie was extremely responsive, super flexible and very involved in the months leading up to the wedding (i.e.: she did two walk throughs of the venue, answered every single one of my questions, etc). Also leading up, she was very open to adding in a couple of curve ball songs that were special to us. At our actual wedding - the sound was beautiful, the songs were amazing and we've received so many compliments regarding the band. I don't ever want to get re-married (I'm hoping this one sticks!) but if I do, Eden Lane will be at every single one of my weddings. -

I hired Eden Lane to perform at my non-profit's gala and I could not be happier with them. We decided to start with a duo for cocktails, a quartet for dinner, then a trio for an after dinner lounge. They were flexible about the configurations and worked with me to come up with the best set up for the space. We arranged for a site visit ahead of time, they had their own amps, mics and sound equipment, and worked with our A/V company to make sure everything was set. All of this made me feel very confident to work with them. They were professional, they were on time, and most importantly they were incredibly talented. I would highly recommend them. -

Stephanie and her gang were absolutely amazing! Dylan fom the band also played for our ceremony. They were able to play certain song requests that we had, music within the style we wanted ( jazz and PMJ) and were super communicative on exactly what we wanted. Our wedding guests had only amazing things to say about the band, especially that they felt conflicted with talking to other guests and just listening to the band! Eden lane was a huge highlight to our wedding, and they were professional and on time. I hope we have another large occasion where we can hire them again! -

We hired Eden Lane as a Quintet for our July 2017 wedding. Everything was organized through their vocalist Stephanie. She was extremely accommodating, professional and friendly. On the day of the wedding, the band arrived early to set up. All song requests were fulfilled masterfully and their own repertoire was impressive and extensive. The vocals were exceptional and the instrumental accompaniment was perfect. This band really has style. They look great and sound even better. All guests, from age 80 to 3 years old were entertained....most were dancing (the band actually can trick your guests into thinking they have rhythm). We received so many compliments on the band, my favorite being that "they don't overpower you with their volume like many bands do....they lure you in and make you want to listen to them because they're that good." During the few breaks they took, they had a great playlist playing (you were almost grateful for the few breaks b/c it gave you a minute to focus on your guests instead of the great music!)
If you're looking for a jazz band and they're available, book them before someone else gets them for your date! -

Eden Lane's Stephanie and Dylan made our wedding everything we wanted it to be. We had our reception at a bbq restaurant in Astoria, so we were looking for relaxed, fun jazz/bluegrass/New Orleans style music for our chill out and dance reception. Stephanie and Dylan were extremely prompt in communicating with us, they were open to doing covers of some of our favorite songs, and they showed up on time with their equipment all ready to go. They even met in secret with my husband to rehearse a song and he sung it to me with Eden Lane at the reception! I would highly recommend this talented and professional duo for cocktail hours, before-ceremony music, receptions, or wherever you want to have a smile on your face and a song in your heart. -

Our experience was great from the very start. I began corresponding with Stephanie about a reunion we were throwing for a group of WWII veterans and their families. I could tell right away that she was a class act and very sweet person. She informed me that she had a soft spot in her heart for veterans, since her grandfather was also a WWII veteran, so she was thrilled to be able to entertain us.
The event was a complete success and our group fell in love with the band. Not only were they top-notch performers (Stef has a voice of gold), but truly charming people. We even invited them to dine with us that evening, so were able to chat with them after the gig.
We asked to come back next year - that says it all! Counting down the days until the Oct 2017 reunion.
Since this was for a veteran's group, she gave us a special rate in honor of these wonderful men. -

We hired Eden Lane for a private cocktail party and they MADE the whole night. Stephanie Layton has a beautiful voice and the band's music selection was perfect. They played a lot of old classics as well as some new ones I hadn't heard before. (Now new favorites!) Their whole performance was really engaging - there were a couple of numbers that were cute and quirky and had everyone laughing. All around, they made for a super fun, charming and very classy evening. -

Amazing!!
We hired Eden Lane to play our outdoor cocktail hour. They added such class to the beginning of our reception! I personally did not get much of a chance to listen to them play, but I heard over and over again by guests that they were wonderful !! The band was so talented and kind-- I would recommend them to anyone! My only regret is not hiring them to play for longer :) THANK YOU!! -

Eden Lane sang for my father's cocktail/birthday party that I put together for him. He has a love for 30's/40's style jazz, and I knew that having Eden Lane at the party would be the perfect fit. They took my party from fun to WOW WOW WOW! The lead singer has that perfect gorgeous smooth tone reminiscent of all the jazz greats, and their song selection was just wonderful. A few of my favorites, and a few new ones that are now some of my NEW favorites! I couldn't have been more pleased. They are truly outstanding, and I hope to see them perform again soon. -

i love them!!! My weddings theme was Vintage so it worked out so perfectly. I was not there during the cocktail hour --- and honestly i think that was one of the reasons i rushed back coz i wanted to listen to all the songs i picked. it was awesome!! i heard a few more songs that i loved especially our first dance :) pretty cool!! it just made the wedding more amazing. Aside from sounding so good, they were so pleasant to work with. Stephanie made sure to work with me --- i didn't even need to ask them to dress the vintage part --- they asked and delivered!!
Stephanie, thank you again to you and your band!!! My wedding wouldn't have been as unique and awesome --- it was def the finishing touch.

We booked Eden Lane to play our wedding and it made the day absolutely perfect. All of our guests could not stop raving about them! First of all, I love jazz and I love live music. I had to find the perfect group to become the soundtrack of my wedding. Eden Lane exceeded all expectations. The lead singer has a voice like velvet, the band was on point, and the whole sound felt like I was being transported back in time. They worked with my husband and I to create our ideal set list, happily agreed to play our special request songs, and were incredibly organized. With all of the crazy details that go into planning a wedding, I never had to worry about the band because I knew they were on top of it. I truly could not be happier. THANK YOU, EDEN LANE!!!!!! -

Excellent jazz band for our easy going wedding
For our wedding we had a multi-cultural group of family and friends coming and the two of us were looking for a nice, easy-going jazz band which Eden Lane was perfect for! Stephanie was very responsive and open to suggestions in terms of new music and call-outs. We would highly recommend Eden Lane to any wedding!! -

Great band but played the wrong song for my first dance
Eden lane was great at my wedding and to work with but I would make sure you double check they got all your details right when you request what songs you would like for your special moment. Unfortunately they played the wrong song for my first dance which was a bummer as I picked something very special to us and now I have a memory of wonderful world by Louie Armstrong rather than Sam Cook. -
