Hiring chris as our dj was one of the best things we did not only did he absolutely kill the music and made our ceremony perfect he made sure everything went smooth and everyone had a great time and on top of that he is one of the most genuinely nicest people we’ve every met he checked in with us through out the night to make sure everything was good and kept the party alive until we had to leave and we didn’t want to! -

DJ for wedding
Chris is amazing. Very professional. He helped with wedding coordination. Always went out of his way to make sure everything was going to plan and made sure my photographer got all the shots I need it before he the photographer left for the night. I can't says enough about him. -

We had Chris do our wedding and OMG was he amazing. He curated a mashup for a surprise dance for my husband that my bridesmaids danced to and everything ran smoothly. He made multiple announcements for me and didn’t miss a beat. HIRE HIM! You won’t regret it. -

I first want to start out by saying we decided to get a DJ for our wedding about two weeks prior to our event date... this is really ill advised, lol. Anyway, it was important for us to use a veteran-owned business as my husband serves in the military and we support our peeps. I did a random Goog’s search for “veteran-owned DJ service” near our event’s zip code and Eclectic Events was one of the first search results. I reached out and got into contact with Chris, and even he was surprised I was looking for a DJ for a vow renewal happening in only a couple of weeks. Somehow (by God’s grace) it just worked out that he was miraculously available on our event date. I chatted with Chris on the phone and got good vibes from him and liked his energy. As soon as I got off the phone with him I told my husband, “That’s our guy.”
Chris delivered on our event in every way. He arrived to our event on time (in fact, he was the only vendor who showed up on time), and he went right into work mode getting setup. Our event had some bumps early on due to the guest shuttle arriving wayyyy late for our ceremony, however, Chris was cool as a cucumber (even though it was crazy hot outside). He was willing to roll with everything and was incredibly flexible with the complete change in schedule. He was like a calming anchor in what seemed to be a chaotic storm. Chris quite literally kept the wheels on, and steered us through the mess. At one point, it felt almost as if he was our wedding coordinator. He stepped up for us in a HUGE way and we will be forever grateful to him for that.
If you are looking for someone with great attention to detail, lively personality and is just overall great at their job then Eclectic Events is the DJ service for you. Chris, thank you sooooooo much for everything you did to help make our day truly wonderful!!! -

Oh my gosh, I wish 10 stars were an option for Chris. He was absolutely wonderful in every step of communicating, planning, and doing. I was so busy my last few days leading up to my wedding, which is probably very typical for every bride, and I did not have time to ever in any reception party songs to my list. I sent Chris a text I mean literally days before the wedding explaining I would not have time to get that done and that he could do whatever he wanted. Looking back, I do not think I could have even planned as good as what he chose to play. He did an incredible job!!! All of my guests were dancing for an insane 3 hours straight. Chris did not miss a beat, and he made our wedding a night to remember! He followed my ceremony songs to the exact point that I requested, and I received so many compliments from my guests to relay how wonderful he was. I cannot say enough about him, truly! I highly recommend, and I would choose him all over again one thousand times more to kick off my wedding night. 10 stars! -

We had our wedding at The White Room in St. Augustine, FL. Chris did an absolutely amazing job by keeping all of the guests up on their feet and dancing all night long. Our wedding was on the Roof Top and we did experience a little rain, however Chris kept the party going and was able to cover up his equipment so the music could keep playing! Overall, Chris did a great job and the pricing was extremely affordable on my teacher salary!!! -

Chris at Eclectic Events was the perfect choice!
Chris at Eclectic Events was the perfect choice for our wedding. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented DJ. While planning our wedding we found Chris to be very accommodating and flexible. He was enthusiastic and listened to our thoughts, then shared his experiences and provided advice where it was needed. We wanted a DJ who would be able to blend into the environment when needed, but make sure that when things got going everyone was having fun. We felt extremely confident that Chris understood our vision and would deliver a perfect experience. In the days and weeks leading up to the wedding Chris checked in with us multiple times to make sure things were progressing smoothly and to make sure we had everything we needed from him in terms of song planning. We struggled to make some decisions until the last minute, but Chris was really understanding and was extremely flexible.
Our wedding was at a large historic venue and the plan was to have background music during the outdoor ceremony in the garden, music indoors during dinner, and dancing and music outside on the patio. On the day of our wedding we had some weather issues that threatened our outdoor plans, Chris was really relaxed and adapted to the changing plans. We were able to have the outdoor ceremony and the background music perfectly fit our ask, playing classically performed popular songs which is a fairly niche ask, but he was able to pull it off perfectly! Our first dance, speeches, and introductions were all great, and Chris handled the event with the perfect blend of reverence and fun. We had a mix of younger friends and older relatives, but he was great at reading the crowd and adapted to suit all the varied tastes and everyone loved the music he played and the party was perfect!
We cannot thank Chris enough, our vision was to have an elegant ceremony with a reception that got progressively more relaxed and he provided an experience that exceeded our expectations and perfectly captured our style.

Chris is a remarkable guy. My husband and I had many last minute changes that he rolled with and incorporated seamlessly into our wedding program. He added music to his library especially for us, custom tailored blues music to fit our biker wedding crowd, had state of the art equipment, was always available when we called, granted every want, wish and request and is so personable. Although we won't be getting married again, we're grateful we belong to other organizations as we'll definitely be looking to hire him again! Thank you Chris for our best day ever! You made it so perfect! -

Chris was timely and went above and beyond to provide a great, professional experience for us. He played all our songs with a playlist tailored to our taste! He got everyone on the dance floor even though we weren't expecting it with all of our outdoor activities going on. Chris was personable, professional, and provided us excellent customer service on our wedding day and the weeks leading up to it. Thank you Chris for making everything so seamless! The night was perfect! -

Working with Chris was absolutely fantastic! He was very professional and detail oriented when it came to planning out the event. The overall experience was exceptionally beyond satisfactory and he accommodated the wide variety of music requests in an absolutely stunning fashion. We would hire him again in the future and my man knows his beats really. The website lets you plan, create playlists, make payments and has a nice little fancy counter on the homepage indicating the number of days to the party, like a rocket launch day. Thank you ever so much Chris and I hope you keep rocking at every other party. -

We discovered Eclectic Events (owner and DJ is Chris Cobb) after attending a friend's wedding. Our friend raved about how wonderful Chris was and so we went ahead and scheduled a meeting with him. HE IS SO NICE!! Chris was such a positive and enthusiastic person to do business with and we were so excited to have him at our wedding (even our wedding planner who's met countless numbers of DJs loved him). Chris has a website which allows you to pick and choose songs for all different areas of your wedding. But if you don't have enough songs to choose or have difficulty, he is very good at what he does and will help you along the way. He helped to make our wedding a magical event and everyone danced the night away! We truly loved having Chris as our DJ and would HIGHLY recommend him to everyone planning a wedding. -
