We had the most incredible experience with Easy Entertaining for our wedding at The Towers in Narragansett! We chose a family-style dinner, and it was absolutely perfect for the atmosphere we wanted — warm, inviting, and full of love.
The food was outstanding — beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was and how much they loved the family-style service. It truly brought everyone together and made the evening feel so intimate and special.
Beyond the food itself, the staff was exceptional. They were professional, attentive, and made everything run so smoothly. As a bride, that peace of mind is priceless. I was able to fully enjoy the night knowing everything was in great hands.
We are so grateful and would recommend them to any couple getting married at The Towers or anywhere in Rhode Island. Thank you for helping make our wedding day unforgettable! -

We had such a great experience with Mike and Easy Entertaining! We had our wedding at the Towers in Narragansett on 1/2/26! Mike was super helpful from start to finish and made sure we had everything we wanted and needed! His knowledge in the business definitely shows! The food was delicious at the tasting and also on the day of! They even made sure to wait until we were seated before bringing us our food so we could eat while it was hot. They also made sure to pack us up some desserts we otherwise would’ve forgotten to grab! Not only were they great with service but they were so helpful with coordinating everything on the day of from the decor to telling us when to walk! We can’t recommend them enough!! -

We had THE BEST experience with Easy Entertaining planning our wedding at the Towers in Narragansett. From the start, as soon as we reached out to them they were super responsive and so helpful. We worked with Mike throughout the process, he was so incredible to work with and he walked us through everything step by step and made the perfect recommendations for everything we needed. The tasting of the food was amazing and it was just as good/ even better on the wedding day. Not only do they have the best food and service they were so helpful in coordinating everything on our day and with other vendors and helping with the set up of everything. We would highly recommend using them for your wedding! We got non stop compliments from our guests about the food and service. -

I mean it when I tell you it has been over a month since our wedding and everyone is still talking about the food. Easy Entertaining made for lack of a better word easy from the start to have everything we wanted food-wise at our big day. We had compliments from our friends not only about the food but the waitstaff as well they were all so wonderful and sweet and made sure my husband and I got food at our seats throughout the night! We worked with Mike a few months before the big day and then Kristen day of and we could not have been in more capable hands. She was organized, a great communicator and if something went wrong I haven't heard about it which is really the best as the bride. -

Our experience with Easy Entertaining was absolutely phenomenal! We were very happy with their professionalism, attentiveness and willingness to help in any way possible. It was very noticeable that EE truly cares about their clients and will go above and beyond to make sure that every detail is perfect and personalized. The complementary food tasting was outstanding-so many different types of delicious food! It was difficult to pick between the countless menu options- some of what we chose included the charcuterie table, katie fried chicken, ginger molasses brisket and the mouth watering mac n cheese. We received countless compliments on the food and that it was the best wedding food our guests have ever had.
EE is the best in the business! We are so thankful that we chose Easy Entertaining to cater our wedding and we will continue to recommend EE to anyone looking for a catering company. I want to start by saying that my family is quite picky, and since I don’t live in the area, I had to rely heavily on our wedding planner for all aspects of my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding. Naturally, I was nervous about whether my expectations would be met.
I am thrilled to say that Easy Entertaining was a wonderful company to work with. They not only provided the wedding dinner but also catered a 67-person brunch the following day.
The wedding food was incredible. After a few days of reflection, I can honestly say there wasn’t a single complaint. The staff was clean, tidy, polite, and hardworking—a truly conscientious team. The hot hors d'oeuvres were plentiful and beautifully presented on decorated serving platters. The raw bar was filled with delectable treats, and the standing grazing table boasted an array of delicious cheeses and meats, which were regularly refilled and kept tidy. Overall, the reception was excellent.
Now, onto the dinner—WOW! I’m not sure how they managed this on a rainy, windy night, but every single dinner was served hot, beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious. We offered either scallops or blueberry BBQ short ribs, and the service was immaculate. Guests raved about the food for days; it was truly the best wedding meal we’ve ever had.
The dessert bar was fantastic, though I must admit there were almost too many choices! A quick secret: they make the most amazing gluten-free chocolate cookies that my sister, a baker, is trying to recreate. They’re not to be missed!
The following day, the brunch at the house I rented went just as smoothly. I hired a bartender and a food server/helper, and they arrived on time, were neat and tidy, and were incredibly nice and cheerful. Everything was beautifully set up, and they took care of everything while I simply pointed and enjoyed the food. Once again, the food exceeded my expectations.
Easy Entertaining deserves a ten-star rating. Mike was always available, offered great ideas, and was more than willing to accommodate my requests. He even came to the wedding to check on things. Kaitlyn was also on hand, and I truly felt that they cared as much about the events as I did. Together, they created two perfect occasions.
If you’ve read this far, I assure you that you will be delighted beyond your hopes. You must hire Easy Entertaining and rest easy knowing that they have everything covered!

I loved working with Easy Entertaining - from the tasting to the planning ot the reception itself. Mike Burton is the consummate professional. Our reception was at The Towers in Narragansett and we had 80 guests. Everything was absolutely perfect and I enjoyed chatting with many members of the EE staff at the event itself. The food was delicious and beautiful. Bar service was efficient and competent. I didn't want to have to do ANYTHING on the day of my daughter's wedding except schmooze with our guests and enjoy the day and, fortunately, EE took care of everything else.

I don’t have enough kind words for Kaitlyn, Frank, Mike, Kristen, and everyone else we met and worked with from Easy Entertaining. They had a hand in every part of our day, from providing the most beautiful venue to serving the most delicious food. Our ceremony was in their courtyard followed by cocktail hour and an intimate dinner in The Atrium. The food was incredible, especially considering the number of food restrictions between me, my wife, and some of our guests (vegetarian, dairy free, GF, specific food allergies). Most of our food was vegan to accommodate my wife and I, and all of our guests were blown away. We didn’t have a planner or coordinator, but Frank assured us that as long as he knew our vision he could make it work. What he did was so far beyond expectations, I can’t thank him enough.
As a same-sex couple, it was important to us to find vendors who not only accepted our love but respected and celebrated it. Everyone at Easy Entertaining welcomed us with open arms and we never once felt uncomfortable about being exactly who we are. We are so happy that we chose Easy Entertaining to be such a big part of such an important day! -

From the request for a quote (and help in deciding on a venue) through the day-after wedding follow up, I can only say: thank you, thank you, thank you to the EE team. Having had their food at events before, and knowing the venue we chose had them as 1 of their 3 preferred, I knew we were in for a treat. All the details were well taken care of in advance - with a delicious tasting! - and on the day-of, we had everything we needed and more. Thoughtful care was taken with what the team knew was important to us, and Frank as the Manager onsite, is a diamond.

Amazing Experience
Easy Entertaining was recommended to me by another trusted vendor while planning my wedding. After our contract with another local vendor fell through 6 weeks before our wedding, Easy Entertaining was quick to step in an provide above and beyond service. Mike was a delight to work with and discussed ideas with us daily to ensure we were getting exactly what we wanted. We are from Ohio and unfortunately could not have a tasting, but the food was unbelievable. Our guests have talked about his staff several times after. They were very personable, fast, and just all around the people you want helping you on such an important day. Mike reached out to other vendors to help fill our gaps just weeks before our wedding. I could not recommend this team enough. Outstanding experience. -

This is not an exaggeration: our dream wedding could have never happened without Kait, Athina, Mike, Frank and the whole incredible Easy Entertaining team. We had big dreams and needed a LOT of help. We chose an beautiful incredible venue (also found through Easy Entertaining's website) that we loved, but was very DIY. We had to bring everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, in. But Easy Entertaining rose to every challenge. A 40 person intimate rehearsal dinner on the second floor of the property (an area they had never personally done a seated dinner in before) with full raw bar and buffet? Done! Followed by welcome drinks with the most AMAZING potato chips, charcuterie platters (we literally heard it was the best charcuterie meat people had ever had), and delicious small desserts? No problem! Helping to move all the ceremony chairs under the tent before passing around apps I am STILL wishing I had squirreled away for winter before serving an incredible family style late summer feast that was not only delicious, but fulfilled the many different dietary restrictions we were managing? Absolutely! Remaining gracious, supportive, and patient with a detail-oriented groom and an indecisive bride? No sweat. Easy Entertaining was with us every step of the way, through every inane question, bout of anxiety, unexpected obstacle, and last-minute request. They worked through every problem with us with the grace and style of experienced masters. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND in every sense of the word every moment of the planning process and the weekend itself and anticipated our every need. At the end of the night, when we predictably had not eaten nearly as much as we would have hoped, they had prepared us boxed meals and a dessert sampler for us to enjoy once all our guests had left. When my husband realized someone had spilled on his new suit jacket, Frank jumped in with club soda, calm, and swagger and absolutely saved the day. They were not just our caterers: they were our partners, our support system, our friends, and we couldn't have done any of this without them. They are not just the pinnacle of amazing service and delicious food; they are the true meaning of the best in the business and absolute miracle workers. We are endlessly grateful. -

Kaitlyn, Mike, Frank, and the whole team at Easy Entertaining will exceed your expectations! This is the team you want catering your big day. All of our guests absolutely loved the food. From the cocktail hour to the dinner, everyone complimented the food during the reception and have been ever since. We went for the family-style option and everyone loved how it fostered conversation during dinner. It really was like one big family dinner amongst friends and family. I will also point out that we got married on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, which is a hectic time of year. Kaitlyn and Mike were super responsive during that busy time. I truly never worried how everything would turn out with the food and setup because of them. The Easy Entertaining team is super professional, warm, and attentive. Our guests loved the food and how nice the staff was. In addition to the actual wedding reception being perfect, our tasting was memorable and delicious too. We only have good things to say about the Easy Entertaining team. In fact, we will definitely get food from them when they have holiday specials because the food is so good and such a phenomenal small business deserves to be supported. After the unexpected permanent closure of our initial venue, I reached out to Kait to make an inquiry about availability (keep in mind we had never been to the cafe prior to Covid closure; we were really taking a leap of faith on this). She responded immediately, we discussed location and menu options and within 72 hours we had a date selected (we were able to keep our initial date) and the menu had been chosen. Amid planning an intimate wedding, we had the ongoing uncertainty with Covid and the ever changing restrictions. Kait was responsive and patient with each of my countless emails. When the governor changed the guest limit a mere 8 days before our nuptials, Kait had already submitted a variance request with RIDOH before even calling me to inform me of the newly imposed restrictions. Right until the morning of our wedding, we didn’t know if we were going to be able to host our ceremony outside due to the weather and Kait and her team were flexible and made it magical for us. The night of the event at the Cafe, her team was AMAZING! They were professional, accommodating to every guest request, and made our whole experience stress free and flawless. Many guests inquired about taking Frank home because he was so warm, witty, and hospitable. He raced around ensuring that any guest departing early had a tray of sweets to take home and savor later. Guests could not say enough about the delicious farm to table menu choices and our wedding cake made by Easy Entertaining was absolutely divine. -

I can't say enough good things about Easy Entertaining Catering. The food was absolutely spectacular and our guests were raving about it after, which is pretty rare for wedding food. Our coordinator was incredible responsive and helpful in planning all of the details. It was also incredibly easy to substitute for gluten free or vegan meals and to change guests numbers at the last minute.
The rentals were gorgeous and the table setup was immaculate. I was stunned by how beautiful everything turned out and how easy it all was. Definitely will be using you in the future and recommending your services to my friends as well. -

Easy Entertaining understood what we wanted from the start: a backyard brunch wedding we could pull off during the pandemic. Kait & her team helped us with virtually every aspect of the event, except for the vows (& thank-you notes). She recommended other vendors (florist, videographer) who were also wonderful and worked with us tirelessly to craft the menu for our brunch. Kait's staff was top-notch (server, baker) and the food was tasty and well-presented. We received many, many compliments. -

Perfect choice for our perfect wedding!
Easy Entertaining was the PERFECT choice for catering and bar for our wedding.
My husband (at the time, fiancé), and I had such a hard time finding a caterer. Everything seemed expensive, and yet also terrible tasting. Then, we found Easy Entertaining! Jayne, our coordinator, was fantastic. We really wanted a “casual yet classy” vibe for our wedding, and they made it happen. They worked with us to find the right solution instead of a standard plated dinner, and everything else we had envisioned—including the board game table for all our guests to play. We had the idea that we wanted an ice cream sundae bar for dessert—they made it happen! We wanted a prosecco toast that wasn’t originally in our bar package? They found a solution! They made our wedding celebration such a breeze.
And the food was so good! We started with a cocktail hour—open bar, and a lovely table of mini pizzas, cheeses, spreads, pickles, breads, and veggies. My father came up and was raving about a particular snack he said he hadn’t had better since visiting Italy! My husband was obsessed with the pickles! The bar itself was not run through EE but through a partner company, and they were amazing and quick working. I don’t think I ever saw a line form.
After dancing, everyone came into the dining room to see beautifully plated salads and herbed bread (my mom’s favorite). EE was amazing in setting up and running a flawless buffet. Everything was perfectly organized, with signs telling the guests what all the dishes were (besides delicious). I loved the vegetable tart and pesto zoodles!
Finally, we finished with the make-your-own sundae bar. Again, I cannot emphasize how amazingly accommodating the EE staff was in making our vision come true. We also loved the local and farm-fresh focus! Food sourcing is important to me and my husband, and honestly, you could taste the difference. I would recommend Easy Entertaining to anyone. And make sure take home the leftovers, because you’ll want them!

I truly cannot say enough great things about Easy Entertaining. We booked them for the food and service for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony. Our wedding was very unconventional and on a private residence that does not typically have weddings or events. EE was exceptional at communicating and remaining flexible throughout our entire process of figuring out how we were going to make it all work. We did not have a wedding planner, although our POC with EE Jayne, felt and acted as one without being exclusively called on.
Our sometimes hectic and unorganized day would not have been so successful if not for the staff. They did their job while making sure all other vendors were on the same page and on task. They essentially made the entire dinner in a makeshift kitchen with an oven in the woods due to the "venue's" limitations! They couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. One staff member, Frank, was so awesome he was literally one of the main hits of the wedding. Thanks, Frank!!
Aside from the service, which I could go on forever about. The FOOD. WAS. AMAZING.
Other than the Bride, the food was likely second in line as the most talked about subject for the night. Our guests genuinely loved everything and let us know for weeks afterwards. EE also wasted nothing. They made sure they filled every piece of Tupperware we provided with as many leftovers as possible.
These folks deserve every shred of business they get. We worked with many vendors for our big day, EE was our breath of fresh air and our favorite by miles. We continue to spread the good word about them to anyone in need of a caterer and we hope this review helps them as well!

From the beginning, my husband and I knew that we wanted to ensure the food we served on our wedding day would be delicious and memorable. We also wanted a focus on all things local at our wedding. We spoke with tons of caterers and let me tell you - you get what you pay for. The Easy Entertaining team was able to provide a local/farm-to-table service and was also able to meet a ton of special requests, which many caterers were unable to do. The team was incredible and definitely a major reason why our wedding was so perfect. From being super responsive throughout the process and helping with planning to ensuring they met all of my dietary needs the team at EE was incredible. We switched hands a few times in terms of coordinators, but they did a great job at communicating on their end so it never felt like a hiccup when a new coordinator stepped in. The staff the day of was incredible - Mike, our day-of coordinator, was kind and attentive and went out of his way to ensure everything was going well. The waiters were friendly, kind, and very funny. They seemed to have a great time. Everyone raved about the fantastic service and how delicious the food was. One guest said "this is NOT wedding food" implying wedding food is normally below average/not nearly as delicious as our wedding meal was! They even set up our dessert display despite the fact that they did not supply the dessert (we did a dessert table full of treats from a handful of our favorite local dessert vendors). The EE staff even helped us pack up at the end of the night, which they absolutely didn't have to do! They were really just a team of super helpful and kind people and I'd recommend them to everyone. We definitely spent a little more than we had originally planned on food, but I can confidently and sincerely say that choosing EE to help with our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made in the entire planning process. Easy Entertaining has been so helpful with our wedding. Their tasting was fun and productive. We had such a personalized experience where they sat down with us to discuss and create our menu. Easy Entertaining also went above and beyond by offering rentals, which they had all set up and ready to view. Most importantly, their food is divine, flavorful and not bland or boring. Local ingredients make everything fresh and seasonal. The staff could not be friendlier or more passionate about their craft! We had actually had a different catering company booked for our Wedding initially and couldn’t be happier that it fell through because we found Easy Entertaining, RI. Having worked in the event industry myself (and specifically for a catering company), I had pretty high standards. It also meant that I wasn’t willing to pay the typical $250++ per plate that most catering companies quote. Easy Entertaining exceeded every standard I had and came at an affordable price point. It was just icing on the cake that they were a company focused on local sourcing and a female-owned business.
My first clue that they would be a wonderful team to work with was how responsive they were. From the first email inquiry on, Kelsey was very attentive and always let me know if there was going to be a delay in her response for any reason.
Kelsey was amazing to work with, super helpful and flexible and helped us craft our dream menu for our wedding. We asked for a handful of custom off-menu items that were meaningful or favorite foods for my husband and I and Easy Entertaining not only prepared them all but they KILLED it. The mini Beef Empanadas they passed for Cocktail Hour tasted exactly like the ones I had growing up at my best friend’s house. They’re a locally sourced, scratch kitchen, making everything in-house down to the three different mustards for our hot pretzel Station.
Their professionalism, dedication to service and detail are unmatched. They knew that local sourcing and sustainability were important aspects of our wedding and when they found out, days before the wedding due to uncontrollable environmental factors, that they weren’t going to be able to source enough Bluefish for our Smoked Bluefish entree station, the Chef/Owner, Kaitlyn, called us personally to talk about the options. We went with a 2/3rds 1/3rd ratio of Mackerel and Bluefish to keep it a local and have the fish smoked in-house by the EE team, and it ended up easily the favorite item of many guests (including myself!), even amongst some smoked-fish or fish-phobic people. Easy Entertaining was everything I was looking for, everything I was hoping for and absolutely delivered. If you’re getting married (or hosting any large event) in New England, and especially in Rhode Island, you will not regret hiring Easy Entertaining. -

Gia Sent on 07/25/2016It didn't take long for us to realize that Easy Entertaining was the must-have caterer for our wedding. The menu at Easy is unique and their farm to fork approach with local, fresh ingredients is amazing. We reached out early in hopes that we would get to work with the team, and a visit on one of their Burger Nights sealed the deal for us. The Cafe is beautiful with a vintage, yet modern feel that we knew would be the perfect venue for our wedding reception.
And it's not just the awesome food at Easy Entertaining that won us over - they have such an amazing focus on their customer service! From answering our many (many!) questions, to allowing us to keep an eye on the budget and make changes based on their seasonal menus, we were confident going in to the day that they would host an awesome celebration and that our guests would have a great time.
The rainy day didn't hold back the party and the Team at Easy handled everything in stride - even making a few last minute changes to the floor plan to keep everything dry. We had a cocktail style reception and were a little concerned that we might miss out on all of the fantastic food, but they made sure the bride and groom were fed even while we were busy mingling with our guests. The staff has an amazing focus on customer service, taking great care of our guests, cleaning up, and making sure everything went smoothly. Our guests LOVED the food (especially the donut bar!) and raved about the cafe atmosphere. We had an such a memorable time at our wedding and can't thank Easy Entertaining enough for hosting such an amazing party!! -
