Besides marrying the love of my life with all of my best friends and family, souljam was the best part about my wedding! They were incredible and such a crowd pleaser. I wish they could have played until 3 am because everyone would have stayed for them. I want to also recognize them for making the sound needs available at my actual ceremony when my string quartet failed to. 11/10 recommend. Thank you souljam!!!

Best wedding ever - punch band
We had the band PUNCH play at our wedding at Wrightsville Manor in Wilmington, NC. They absolutely killed it all night with every song they played. They were incredible easy to work with and made it the best experience possible. 10/10 recommend them for your wedding!! They kept every guest on the dance floor the entire night!

The Band Punch
We could not give a higher recommendation for The Band Punch. After hearing them at other weddings my daughter knew that was the only band she wanted and they did not disappoint! Our dance floor was jampacked the entire time and they were just amazing! Our guests have not stopped talking about how fun it was! DJ Daniel Jordan with ECE East Coast Entertainment
We hired DJ Daniel Jordan to DJ our daughter’s wedding. He provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and he was fabulous! He worked with my daughter to build the playlist for our event ahead of time and was very professional. He provided great sound quality and light show, and our guests stayed on the dance floor almost the entire time! He was nice and easy to work with, and I would highly recommend using him for your next special event.

Amazing Experience and Band!
East Coast Entertainment was SO easy to work with. We worked with Rebecca T and she was fast to respond, knowledgable of the bands, and really put thought into our requests. We were able to tell her the vibe we like, and she provided a list of potential bands. We went with Night Years Band, and they were AMAZING. Dance floor was full the entire time, and we loved their mix of oldies and new music. The lead singer was phenomenal, and their light set was so cool to watch - it really elevated the whole experience. We got numerous kudos on the band selection after the wedding!

ECE’s Color the Night ROCKED
Color the Night was FANTASTIC. We had high expectations for the band and they completely blew them out of the water. Almost every guest came up to us at the end of the night to compliment the band. They put on an amazing show and the dance floor was packed all night. In addition they were super communicative and easy to work with leading up to wedding day - we are big music lovers so they let us collaborate on the set list and accommodated our requests for special dances and even sang an awesome rendition of the hora. We cannot recommend Color the Night enough, they truly made it the best wedding ever

As Good as It Gets
The Band Punch is, quite frankly, insane. As a planner, I've worked with them several times and they were a quick hire when I got engaged. There is no better band. Hot Sauce Party Band Review!
I booked through ECE for Hot Sauce Party Band and COULD NOT have been happier with this vendor! We really took a chance with Hot Sauce, with not hearing of them before and we are SO glad that we did. Hot Sauce was a fantastic wedding band, so talented, and knew how to keep the guests on the dancefloor all night. They carefully selected each song to ensure everyone stayed partying! At the end of the night, we had to actually drag the guests off of the dance floor for our private last dance - and the guests were cheering for an encore, I mean this band was UNREAL. Hot Sauce was able to learn our first dance song and our private last dance song, which they performed to perfection! If you are looking for a diverse, talented, fun wedding band then look no further - Hot Sauce is it, and they are sure to make your wedding a blast! Our wedding would not have been complete without Hot Sauce!

Energetic Band that will Spark the Wedding Party of Your Dreams!
We booked the band PUNCH through East Coast Entertainment for our wedding reception in September 2021. It was the second booking we made after selecting our venue, and then again, it was one of the first re-bookings we completed once we decided to postpone our wedding due to Covid. Fortunately, PUNCH was available on our new date, and our ECE representative (Barry) made the re-booking process a breeze. As our new date approached, the band leader, Rodney, reached out via email and phone to review my song request list. He was friendly and very open to all my requests, suggestions etc. He promised to bring the party, and that they did! PUNCH put on an absolutely amazing show; we had such a fun dance party that I missed out on the photobooth! I simply did not want to leave the dancefloor all night. I know our guests felt similarly. If you are looking for an energetic, fun, and extremely talented band for your wedding, the band PUNCH is for you!

Rebecca Thomas at ECE was incredible to work with. She went above and beyond to answer all of my questions on a timely basis. She has a real passion for music and strives for her clients to be completely satisfied with their band choice. After giving her our budget and our music preferences, she recommended a few bands for us to look into. We chose an amazing band called Night Years and they blew it out of the water at our wedding reception! I also had specific requests for our first dances and she immediately connected me with the manager of Night Years so we could work those details out. It was such a smooth and easy process. The Best Wedding Band
We booked the InsideOut band through ECE and let me just say: WOW, this group was phenomenal. They got every detail right about MCing the event -- timing and introductions were spot on, but most importantly THE MUSIC WAS INCREDIBLE! They personally arranged a slowed down version of a hit for our first dance, and then their talent and energy kept the dance floor full the whole time. We were very hands off with them in terms of a set list; we just gave them a little information about our music taste and they delivered a perfect evening. Their closing number was so good, people tell us months later they that it still reminds them of our wedding. Do yourself a favor and book InsideOut band and let them do their thing. You'll love them.

ECE helped us find the perfect band!
Rebecca with EastCoast Entertainment helped us find the perfect band for our wedding! Of all of the things we spent money on for our wedding reception, none contributed more to the joy, energy and experience than hiring The Soul Psychedelique Orchestra. It has been two months since our big day, and we are still getting unsolicited compliments from our friends and family because of our 'amazing band'. Working with ECE and TSPO leading up the event was efficient and painless. We had a couple of calls with the band leader, Wade, before the wedding to talk through our special dances (first dance, father/daughter, mother/son) and the timeline. They helped to kick off the celebration by playing and emceeing intros for our entire wedding party, then transitioned straight into the song that they learned for our first dance which made it so special and personal! Everyone was so talented and the synchronized dance moves really added to the party! We are incredibly happy that we booked The Soul Psychedelique Orchestra for our wedding, and we really hope to see them at an event again soon!

The best band in north carolina!
Andrew at East Coast Entertainment helped us find the EXACT band that we were looking for. He was great to work with, very attentive and responded quickly to our emails and calls. We definitely recommend working with him! The Fifth Divine was the band we chose and they were nothing short of OUTSTANDING!!! They put on the best show. We were on the dance floor the entire night because they were THAT good. Their song selection for our group was absolutely perfect. We had the time of our lives dancing and singing the night away. At the end of the night we were all drenched with sweat from dancing so hard. We wish they could have played for hours on end, they were amazing. Phenomenal wedding band!
Sleeping Booty absolutely made our reception. We couldn't have asked for a better band experience. They were incredibly talented, energetic and fun. The dance floor was full all night long and our guests are still talking about how great the party was. Drew and ECE were fantastic to work with - responsive, helpful, and there with us every step of the way. We had Night Years play at our wedding and they were AMAZING - they created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding and our friends & family couldn't stop talking about their level of energy and talent.

We had DJ Felton at our wedding in Raleigh and everyone loved the music! He played exactly what I wanted. He also avoided the songs I had on my "do not play" list, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend!

Great experience!

We had 5 months to plan our wedding and had a great experience with David Krush, East Coast Enterainment! David was extremely prompt, courteous and delivered options within our budget. My daughters wedding 11/10/2018
Ellie Schwarz was a warm and considerate professional in helping us plan this special day for our daughter's wedding. Listening to our desires, she recommended the perfect band, The Royal Suits, and got them to agree to come to Jacksonville, Florida from North Carolina for our special day.
They were amazing musicians who played one song after another and kept the dance floor jumping. The band started with 60's music and progressed to current hits throughout the 4 hour party with little to no time between songs. The Cummer museum staff, professional wedding planner, photographer and guests were in amazement with there performance and professionalism.
I want to come up with a new idea for a party just to use East Coast and The Suits again!

Very quick response
EastCoast was super helpful in our search to find the right music for our wedding reception. We knew we wanted a band but didn't know where to start to find the right group. ECE stepped with many good options, and after reviewing the demo tracks, we found just the group. ECE was very prompt with their responses, and they made the process of doing business with them seamless. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants high-quality music without the frustrations of finding musicians on your own.

They were incredible - we were looking for a band that would get everyone out of their seats dancing, and GTL certainly delivered. People are still commenting to me that our wedding was the biggest dance party they've ever been to. Highly recommend.

We booked our wedding band, Right to Party through ECE! East Coast Entertainment was so fabulous to work with and made everything so easy on us. They made sure everything went smoothly. Right to Party was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! They made our entire wedding and we’re the sole thing we got the most compliments on! Everyone was on the dance floor all night! Five stars across the board! We sought out MPH per the recommendation of a family-friend and booked them as soon as we could! After being unable to secure our “1st choice” band, Barry worked with us and helped us select another. The Business, the band we selected on Barry’s recommendation, far exceeded our expectations! The dance floor was packed the entire night! The Business is much more than a band; they are entertainers, commanded the room and are excellent musicians. If I had to select a band again, they would now be my first choice! I have had many guests from the wedding tell us they’ve never seen a dance floor that fun and hopping.... EVER! The Business even accompanied us, after the sparkler exit, by heading a Second Line down to a pub for late night drinks. So festive and different! ECE is so professional and easy to work with. They helped make our evening perfect.

Incredible!!! I heard Fantasy for the first time back in 2014 and ever since then I knew I wanted them to play for my wedding reception. Once I secured my wedding date, I immediately contacted Barry with East Coast Entertainment to book Fantasy! He was very professional and answered all my questions right away. Fantasy played beautiful background music during our dinner and we had a completely packed dance floor all night. They are amazing at keeping the crowd into the music for their whole performance. We couldn't be happier that we chose Fantasy and Steve is wonderful to work with!! Our guests will never forget our wedding reception and we owe that to Fantasy! Thank you guys so much for being such a huge part in making our wedding the best day of our lives and making it an unforgettable night!

Irresistible Groove created a wedding reception experience for the memory books! They were incredible musicians and played for THREE STRAIGHT HOURS so that our party kept going without any drop in the energy and fun! They were wonderful to work with in the planning process, had a huge song selection, and took our recommendations for genres and ran with it perfectly! Definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding reception to hire IG and the memories and pictures show it! Highly recommend working with ECE - great group! Bounce was amazing!!! They had us dancing the entire night. I wish we didn't have to shut the party down. I had several people comment on how great they were. We were able to select our songs and they stuck to our list. All generations were out there dancing!! Highly recommend.

All of our guests are still raving about The Royal Suits. They were the absolute highlight of our wedding. We were looking for a band who could do the Motown-genre songs but also some indy stuff. The Royal Suits know how to cross genres SEAMLESSLY. We had an insanely amazing rendition of "Skinny Love" by Birdy, but also THE BEST Michael Jackson covers you'll ever hear. "I never knew a wedding band could be so incredible!" and "they played songs better than the original artists!" and "I'm hiring them for OUR wedding!" were just a few excerpts of the comments we got. If you're considering them, look no further -- seriously this will be the best decision you'll make at your wedding!!!! Their performance energy, technical musical talent/abilities and willingness to be flexible and work with you on pretty much anything made these guys my absolute FAVORITES.

The Band Punch was AMAZING! Their talent, crowd engagement, lighting, and obvious passion for what they do put me at ease as a bride with so many other things to worry about! I contacted Barry the week of 11/29/16 to book the Band Punch for my wedding date of 12/9/17. After that I was contacted by Rodney Ogden the month of the wedding to work out last minute details such as first dance/last dance songs and music to be played during cocktail hour, dinner, and during breaks. The Band Punch got the entire crowd engaged and the dance floor never less than 90% of attendees at any given time. It was simply amazing. We still have our guests tell us how much fun they had and how talented the band was. I would book the Band Punch 1,000X over. They are worth every penny!! Book fast as they book up! SoulPlay played at our wedding reception at Wrightsville Manor on 8/19/17 and they were AMAZING! I mean, when you get the crowd to have a dance off, I think you know it was a great time! Everyone raves about the music selection and the interaction of the band with our guests! WE could not have asked for a better band that night! THANK YOU SOULPLAY!

East Coast Entertainment booked the band Smile for my daughters wedding and they were fabulous! They are not only very talented musicians, but they bring a great attitude and tons of energy. They play songs that all ages enjoy. They were a huge hit and I highly recommend them.

We hired The Groove Motive (through East Coast Entertainment) and couldn't have been happier with our decision. The Groove Motive brought a great energy to the wedding and kept everyone dancing all night! Pierre even jumped down onto the dance floor to sing with us. They were absolutely incredible and they got so many compliments from our guests. Best choice we could've made. I can't recommend them enough!

Our experience with East Coast Entertainment was excellent and the band we signed with their help - Sleeping Booty - was beyond our wildest expectations. Barry H. helped us explore a number of different options based on our price point and vision for the reception and once we had selected Sleeping Booty, he was always very responsive in answering any questions and taking care of any logistical work that needed to be done. We can't speak highly enough about ECE and Sleeping Booty!

We loved using East Coast Entertainment! The Rubberband Band was AWESOME! Everyone has been raving about them that were at our wedding. I worked with Barry Herndon to book my wedding reception band. I told Barry my budget and what I was looking for in a band. He sent me a list of bands meeting my requests and I ultimately picked Soul Play. They were AWESOME!! I'm so glad I went through ECE to find this band!

We initially worked with Barry from East Coast Entertainment. Barry was so easy to work with and provided us with many potential bands within our price range. He even arranged for us to stop by another wedding and hear the band before signing. We signed with Hot Sauce, and it was one of the best decisions ever! They were phenomenal!!!! All of our guests could not stop raving about how amazing they were. We really appreciated and all of the hard work they put into making our wedding so perfect.

We had Sleeping Booty at our daughter's wedding last weekend. I can't say enough about how amazing they were. My guests commented that they felt like they were attending a concert. The singers and musicians are interactive, engaging and got everyone up and dancing all night long. All my guests were blown away by the band as were we.

This review is specific to Barry Herndon, who “made” our wedding night. We didn’t know it at the time, but his guidance and selection probably had the biggest impact on the success of our party. We were out of town, planning ourselves, never hired a band before and were very budget conscious; horrible prospective customers basically. But Barry worked with our budget, talked about a DJ vs band, and talked with a few bands that still had open spots for our night and got us a great group at a great price. He was responsive and delivered a band that gave an emotional, all-out, crowd pleasing performance and I recommend him to other couples.

We had a surprise from Hurricane Matthew on the day of our wedding, which promptly destroyed all of our detailed plans, checklists, and timelines for the wedding day. While we were still getting hair and makeup done, we find out that our band Sleeping Booty physically can't make it to Pinehurst because the State Troopers have blocked the roads. After some minor bridal freak-outs and recruiting some friends to make a playlist for the reception, I heard the magic words from my planner "The have a DJ!"
Not only was EastCoast Entertainment able to find us a last minute DJ who can get through the flooding and to the reception, but they found us the best DJ ever! With no time to prep or review anything, he flawlessly cued all of the entrances, dances, and toasts, at exactly the right time, without mispronouncing anyone's name. We had to tell the DJ last minute what our dance songs were and he had a version of each song, he even remembered to cut the music after the first chorus to keep the dance short like we wanted :) He was so fun, played amazing music that had all of my guests dancing the whole night long. We had not originally intended to have a DJ, and we ended up with the best DJ ever!

We worked with Rebecca at ECE and she was fantastic! She was the conduit in connecting my daughter and I with a fantastic band, Soul Psychedelique Orchestra for her wedding reception. This is the second time that I've used East Coast Entertainment in securing a wedding reception band and couldn't have been more pleased with the professionalism and their music knowledge in matching up both of my daughters wedding reception venues.

Barry at East Coast was great to work with and Punch was amazing for our wedding! Best wedding band ever. Almost every guest told us how great the band was and several said it was the best band they had ever seen. People were dancing all night and the band really made the night. Not only was the music amazing, but they emceed everything, including all of the unique requests we had, like an anniversary dance. They even allowed me to sing a song with the keyboard player to my new husband. It was an amazing experience overall!

We could not have had a better experience with East Coast Entertainment. I was a little concerned that we wouldn't have the budget for a band after I saw the initial list that they sent over. Rebecca was our point of contact, and once I explained our budget she sent me back plenty of options within our price range. She was super responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure that nothing slipped through the cracks. Our band, U-Neek Flavur was absolutely amazing and everyone had a blast dancing. we enjoyed having them so much. They learned a new song for our first dance at our request which was awesome. We provided them with a list of don't play and must play songs, but otherwise they adapted to what our guests responded to, and people were dancing all night. It was perfect. I am so glad we worked with East Coast Entertainment.

After originally planning for a DJ, I am SO glad we worked with Rebecca at ECE to book Bantam Rooster!
I can't say enough about how awesome Bantam Rooster was to work with all the way through the planning process and how great they were at the wedding - a true party starter! There was an issue with the original band we selected, but Eastcoast Entertainment came through with a better band at the same price. I'm not sure how they pulled that off, but it was great.

Mr. Potato Head SURPASSED our expectations! Truly, from start to finish - Doug Jervey, the band leader, and I having our initial conversations about the music selections and flow of the evening - to the night of the wedding - it was absolutely perfect! They were a joy to work with, kept the party going with one friend taking off his tie and demanding an encore when they finished! (he was loving them!), and fulfilled all our wishes, including learning our first dance selection.
East Coast Entertainment (ECE) were also a joy to work with! From the very beginning they were patient with me while I made decisions on who to choose and were always upfront advice-wise and helpful til the end.
I have 2 wishes since the wedding - that I could have that party every weekend AND a current reason to work with ECE and Mr. Potato Head again! I now know who to call should I need music help in the future, and you should call them too. :)

We used East Coast Entertainment to book the band for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier! East Coast sent us several band suggestions, and after reviewing the YouTube videos we chose Vinyl Headlights for our reception. We had a late wedding so dancing at our reception didn't start until 9pm. The band agreed to play 3 hours with one break, instead of the contracted 4 hours with multiple breaks. That timeline ended up being perfect! They had people out on the dance floor from the first song until the last song of the night. We had so many guests rave about how fun the band was, and the venue raved as well. Not only was the band quick and courteous while setting up, but the venue staff commented that they had never seen a band have the whole crowd dancing all night long. It was absolutely perfect! We honestly couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience! We loved working with East Coast Entertainment and Vinyl Headlights, and would whole-heartedly recommend them both!
