So glad we went with East Beach Flowers for our wedding. Dawn was extremely responsive and easy to work with. I had a very specific vision for our florals, and was a bit nervous to have someone else execute that vision. Dawn did an amazing job and we received so many compliments on her floral arrangements. Lastly, out of all the florists we spoke with, she maximized the final product while staying in our requested budget! -

We hired East Beach Flowers to do our floral decor for our fall wedding at Lesner Inn in VA Beach. She came recommended by my coordinator, who also used them for her wedding. Let me just say the florals were absolutely stunning. The owner Dawn was responsive and so easy to work with. Since we had a waterside venue, I wanted my floral theme to be 'beachy fall' and she absolutely nailed it. I got so many compliments on all of the arrangements and bridal bouquet. I also wanted to upcycle some of my arrangements from the ceremony to be used as decor for the reception and Dawn knew exactly how to accommodate it. I would highly recommend East Beach Flowers for any special occasion or wedding. We could not have been happier with her work and they truly helped make our day perfect and special. Thank you!!!! -

This company is amazing. I sent them one or two pictures a year before the wedding for inspiration and they came with the exact vision I wanted for my wedding day. My florals were so unique and we got so many compliments on them. Very professional and timely and dropped the florals off way before we needed them to. On top of that, her prices are so reasonable and this is the perfect company to go with if you’re just interested in doing personal florals. Thank you so much! -

Dawn blew my expectations through the roof for my wedding arrangements. She is affordable and accommodating.
I had a vision for my flowers, very romantic like garden party meets the beach and she captured that perfectly. My guests are still raving about her work.
She is very professional and quickly responds to emails and inquiries. I have already recommended her to people I know getting married. And I will be using her again in the future when planning any other events.

I was thrilled to find such a gem of a florist! Amazingly helpful and great with suggestions including on how to save money which is really special within the Wedding circuit. The pergola floral arrangements as well and bouquet, boutonnieres, and corsages were all absolutely lovely. We had to postpone our Reception so I will be returning to this amazing vendor for my part two! -

The Wedding of Our Dreams , thanks to Dawn
Dawn made our wedding beautiful !! She was extremely flexible and responsive to all my questions and requests . She was helpful when deciding what type of flowers/arrangements we wanted and let me bounce ideas off her . She also helped me stay within my budget by making tiny tweaks to the set-up. Her prices were very reasonable and the result of her work was truly astounding ! My husband and I were truly shocked when we saw how gorgeous everything looked , because we didn’t think our budget would allow for much . She was also able to travel to set-up at our location, which was super convenient because we wanted to work with her despite our wedding being in Barhamsville, VA . Dawn surprised me with a pin on my bridal bouquet with a forget-me-not flower , in memory of my late mother . I feel like this is the difference between hiring just a vendor and hiring someone who truly loves what they do and the people they work with, and truly cares about making your day perfectly special for you ! Book her now, she’s worth every penny ! -

Dawn did an AMAZING job for my wedding. Everyone commented on how beautiful the flower arrangements were! Dawn met with me to make sure my vision came to life and was so patient and accommodating with several changes along the way. I was so pleased with my flowers on my wedding day. My bouquet was gorgeous and my arch flowers were amazing. I had hoop/ring bouquets for the bridesmaids and their flowers died/wilted pretty quickly throughout the day but it was very humid out and they of course weren’t able to be placed in water in between events for the day. I even got a sneak preview the day before and was able to give my opinion on my bouquet! Highly recommend! -

When my husband and I were looking for a florist for our elopement, East Beach Flowers stood out to us as soon as we saw their image gallery. My favorite color is a very dark teal / prussian blue. I had contacted other vendors to see if anything could be done to incorporate that color into our arrangements. At the same time, I didn't want blue orchids because they would introduce too much purple into the color scheme. Most of the florists I contacted just said there weren't many blue flowers and sent me very generic looking samples with lots of white and greenery. I resigned myself to have very beautiful flowers on my wedding day that weren't what I really wanted.
Then I found Dawn from East Beach Flowers. Her Facebook page contained several examples of arrangements with gorgeous deep blue flowers with greenish tints, perfect for what I wanted. When I reached out to her, she explained that she is able to dye white flowers to get that beautiful color. Since my accent color is rose gold, she also suggested spraying a champagne colored rose with rose gold metallic paint. I was super impressed that she was not limited to the standard colors that flowers come in; she used various techniques to tailor the flowers to my wedding colors. My husband's tie ended up matching the rose in his boutonniere EXACTLY even though we never saw the roses until the day of the wedding.
I also asked Dawn if she would be willing to do a tablescape for our reception table. Since we were eloping (just the two of us) we didn't want to hire a separate event designer. Dawn created a GORGEOUS reception table for us. I can't wait for our photographer to send the photos so I can update this review with them. We brainstormed and selected a number of beautiful items from Etsy. I simply could not believe the result when I finally saw it after the ceremony. It honestly took my breath away.
Another thing that I appreciated greatly is that Dawn is not only knowledgeable and artistic, she is also extremely professional. She was so responsive, kind, and helpful. All qualities you definitely want your wedding vendors to have. She secured our arrangements to the wedding gazebo in the middle of gale force winds. Our videographer commented that he was surprised it stayed on at all. We are pleased to recommend East Beach Flowers unreservedly and wholeheartedly. -

Dawn was extremely communicative and I know would have created beautiful arrangements for my my Wedding day. Unfortunately, I had a very difficult circumstance arise but she was gracious and worked through it with me. The next time I need a florist for any event or wedding EastBeach will be my FIRST choice. Working with Dawn was nothing short of amazing! She was very responsive, understanding and accommodating given all of our changes due to covid and adjustments in bridal party size. She took my inspiration pictures and absolutely blew me away with her talent. You can’t go wrong with Dawn and she is worth every penny! -
