I can’t speak highly enough of our experience at Eagle’s Nest. The event coordinator Alexis was very responsive to my millions of questions and was so flexible, making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it from start to finish. I live overseas so wasn’t able to meet in person, but Alexis was very accommodating and willing to use both zoom and email for all our communications. Eagle’s Nest has plenty of props/decorations on site and they also handle the food, drinks, tables, linens, silverware/plates, and had a ceremony space. The ability to have so many of these moving parts be taken care of by one vendor made the whole process much less stressful. Gary was great during the tasting and offered helpful suggestions for the number of appetizers to order. The view at the venue is also stunning and made for incredible pictures. On the wedding day (Saturday), both Alexis and Gary were on duty making sure everything was set up and going according to plan. We also got a free round of golf for the bride and groom, with 4 additional bridal party or family members at a discounted rate. I can’t thank them enough - our wedding was beautiful despite being out of the country while planning it! I’m so happy we chose Eagle’s Nest :) -

We had our wedding at Eagles Nest in October. The day couldn’t have gone any better and Alexis did a great job bringing it all together!! The view from the patios was absolutely beautiful with all the fall colors around Loch Raven.
Not only was the catering aspect so easy to navigate with it being with the venue, but WOW the food was great! So many different selections it was hard to choose. As for the bar, our signature drinks (spicy marg + old fashioned) were great. They did Old Bay instead of Tajin on the spicy marg which I thought was A. super fun and B. very on brand along with our crab mallet favors! The bartender also made his own special concoction that was a huge hit among my friends from college.
The bridal suite was located on the opposite side of the building from the ballroom down a long hallway, which was a nice amount of space to have between. It basically had a private bathroom as it was shared with the ladies’ locker room. As for the bridal suite itself, I could see it being pretty tight for a BIG wedding party but it was plenty of space for myself, my two bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law.
I’m so happy we had our wedding at Eagles Nest! -

My wedding at the Eagle Nest Country Club was simply amazing. Amy the event coordinator was on top of all the details and was there every step of the way from beginning to the end. I’m truly grateful for her role for my big day and her and the staff were amazing. 🤗 -

I get to write this both as a wedding photographer that photographs weddings here but now also as a client as my baby shower was at Eagles Nest. My guests LOVED the food and the views. We were in the Nest which overlooks the course. We had 2 gentlemen helping manage the room and food and drinks. I felt so special, taken care of and even with a rainy day, it was a lovely experience. I would highly recommend them not just for weddings now, but also intimate personal events! Thank you Eagles Nest. And thank you to Amy, she's amazing and definitely professional, accomodating and great at communication! -

We absolutely loved having our Wedding at Eagles Nest Country Club! They did an amazing job accommodating all of our last minute changes due to a huge storm rolling through right during cocktail hour! Our pictures turned out amazing with the beautiful club in the back, our food was awesome, and Amy, the coordinator, is the best there is! Awesome Experience!
We owe everything to Amy. Her guidance and help throughout the entire process was a phenomenal. We would have been lost without her. She truly made everything come together in the end. It was definitely the best day ever! Everybody had so much fun and is still talking about it. We are so grateful for her and you will be too. -

Where to start! Eagle's Nest and Amy Rusek were amazing! The venue was beautiful of course, but we also loved having the banquet hall, private bar (The Nest), and bridal suite all to our selves. From the detailed consultation, mapping it all out, and coordination the day of, we could not have asked for anything more. Amy and the banquet manager (kicking myself for forgetting her name) made 11/23/19 our best day, and really focused on the small details we wanted to include. We weren't stressed at all about the day and things went perfectly. Definitely would highly recommend. -

We had such a beautiful wedding at the Eagle's Nest Country Club. They were very flexible with our food, seeing that we needed Vegetarian and Indian cuisine. Amy was wonderful to work with so was the rest of the staff. The bartender Neil is pretty much family now, we had so much fun with him! -

Absolutely Perfect
We are so happy we booked our wedding at Eagles Nest Country Club! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and I would highly recommend this venue. The views from the outdoor patio are beautiful, the golf course is pristine, and the abundant amount of indoor & outdoor space makes this venue ideal for a large wedding.
To Amy, the Private Event Coordinator – Thank you so much for all of your time, patience, and advice! Amy was very attentive from day one. She quickly responded to our numerous emails, phone calls, and never-ending questions. Amy makes the planning process seamless and is very knowledgeable. She was present of the day of the wedding, to help with finishing touches, keep us on schedule, and help in any way!
To Suzanne, the Banquet Manager – The night and day before the wedding Suzanne dedicated a lot of time helping us set up and decorate. I was unable to finish decorating the night prior, so she put the finishing touches on everything Saturday. She was extremely helpful and kind. Cocktail hour was wonderful, and dinner was served in a timely manner.
To the chef, kitchen staff, servers, & bartenders – The food was delicious! All of our guests were raving about the o’dourves, as well as the entrees. We selected Chicken Chesapeake and Filet mignon for our dinner options. The service was wonderful. The bartenders were attentive and did a wonderful job keeping the guests “hydrated”.

Nicole Sent on 11/16/2016We can't say enough good things about Eagles Nest Country Club!!! The venue is so beautiful, our wedding was 11/5/16 and the fall colors were just amazing!! We used the ballroom for the reception and Nest/patio for cocktail hour. All 3 areas were absolutely gorgeous and it was so nice that everything was connected and our guests had access to the patio all night! The staff were great to work with and the food was delicious! Amy, the events coordinator, was very responsive and helpful, she answered my million questions with a smile! Mary B was there the day of the wedding and made sure everything went smoothly! We are so happy with our decision to have our wedding reception at such a beautiful venue!! -
Heather Sent on 06/06/2018Eagle’s Nest is such a beautiful venue - that’s what really made us fall in love with it. That and the fact that everything is there for you. We did have to rent chairs for the patio ceremony, but that’s only because their new ones weren’t in yet, and they worked out a deal with us to help compensate. The staff was exceptional; they set up all of our centerpieces, signage, photo booth/selfie area, etc., while the girls were getting ready. The food was delicious and the grounds made for photos that looked like they were out of a magazine!

Beautiful venue
Eagle's Nest is a GORGEOUS backdrop for an outdoor ceremony!
The venue was super affordable and they cater on site which is soooooo convenient! The food was good, the drinks were great! The reception area could comfortably fit around 150 people for a sit down dinner with a dance floor; plus you get the indoor and outdoor spaces for the duration of your event. If you know a club member that can sponsor your event, there are apparently some perks, but I don't know what they are.
You'll need to be on top of your own planning though because the event coordinator was not too organized and did not send reminder emails or phone calls about deadlines for meetings and payments. But it did not affect the quality of my event. We booked our event in October and got married in May, which is very quick in the wedding world! We threw some dates out that we were interested in and they were even willing to move a member event if we needed.
Our guests raved about the ceremony and reception spaces and we couldn't be happier with how our special day turned out. -
