As wedding caterers ourselves it was hard trying to find a venue that had everything we wanted. Eagle ridge has everything we wanted and much more!

Eagle Ridge is situated in a gorgeous natural location and offers top-notch service to make a wedding beautiful and fun. Maggie is a true professional and was helpful every step of the way leading up to the big day and managed the rehearsal and the day-of. We took her recommendations on our other vendors and we are happy we did so. It was really important having someone like Maggie who knew the area to be there for us and coordinate everything. The chef provided so many incredible options for the cocktail hour, reception meal and dessert that it was hard to choose. Thanks to Eagle Ridge our destination wedding made our guests really feel like they were on vacation and ensured they all had a wonderful weekend.

We got married at Eagle Ridge on 6/17/23 (Hot air balloon weekend) and had the absolute best experience. We hosted 240 people comfortably and every single one of our guests raved about how it was one of the best weddings ever. We got married on Point Patio and had our dinner reception in their ballroom. The photos speak for themselves. Just spectacular service and accommodations from Eagle Ridge (specifically Maggie wedding coordinator). 10/10 stars.

My husband and I got married at Eagle Ridge Resort in August 2022 and the entire weekend was incredible thanks to the team at Eagle Ridge Resort! I could not have been happier with how our day went and even the smallest details were taken care of. Maggie and the entire team was available and ready to help with anything we needed the entire weekend. Lucky for us, and because of their help throughout the entire planning process, everything went so smoothly! The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, and our guests had a wonderful time. I cannot speak more highly of Eagle Ridge Resort and we look forward to coming back many more times!

We are so happy with our decision to have had our wedding at Eagle Ridge in September 2022. Maggie and the team made the entire process seamless, from the first step of inquiring about availability through the wedding day. Maggie and Sarah were so friendly, helpful, and responsive and made what can be a stressful time so much easier for us. They provided helpful resources throughout the process such as vendor recommendations and suggested timelines and were available to answer questions when needed.

The venue itself is great and easily accommodated our wedding of 160ish people (with room for more). We had our ceremony on the Point Patio (highly recommend based upon the season) and then our reception in the Eagle Ballroom. The food through Eagle Ridge was fantastic, as was the cake and desserts, and it was nice to have the catering onsite as it's convenient and one less vendor you need to find.

We also did our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks/appetizers the night before at The Highlands within the Eagle Ridge territory and Maggie and team did a great job coordinating and making sure we had everything we needed.

As far as accommodations, Eagle Ridge has many options for including onsite hotel rooms and rental houses, and renting a house for the bridal party was a great way to spend more time with everyone before the wedding.

We are based out of Chicago and it was not too long of a trip for anyone local, and there are airports not too far for those coming from out of town. Our friends and family really enjoyed both the venue and their time in Galena. Thanks again Maggie & team for making our day so special!

As soon as we stepped foot in to Eagle Ridge Resort, we knew this was our venue. Everything about the space (both inside & out) is breathtaking. The space is naturally beautiful & we loved the beautiful views.

Working with Alisha was so easy! She was quick to respond, patient with my many questions, & went above & beyond to make our wedding day the most perfect day. She truly put me at ease throughout the entire wedding process, but especially during the wedding. I knew I didn't need to worry about any of the details on our big day, because Alisha had it handled.

Every staff member that we encountered was professional & courteous. We are so thankful to have a great location to revisit for our anniversary in the future.

Maggie and her team made our wedding day magical. We were impressed by the ease of communication and attention to detail during the planning process. On our wedding day, Maggie and her team coordinated everything including the deliveries, and room setup, and kept us on schedule. We felt incredibly supported and were able to enjoy every minute of the wedding weekend thanks to Maggie and her team.

Maggie and the entire Eagle Ridge team are absolutely AMAZING! We had such a wonderful experience from start to finish and would recommend getting married at Eagle Ridge time and time again. Maggie worked with us for 18 months in helping to plan our perfect day. She was so kind and so responsive throughout the entire planning process and was always a calm and steady presence. She had great ideas of her own due to her many years of experience but was also willing to hear our ideas and helped make them possible/come to life. On the big day, Maggie, Sarah, and Alisha were all so present and so helpful - making sure everything was running smoothly and was going as it should. They were all so wonderful to work with!

The food at the wedding was DELICIOUS! The hor'dourves during cocktail hour were great and the spread at the dinner was absolutely incredible. We did the “stations” option and have heard from MANY of our guests that it was “the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding and beyond.” Our little desserts + cake (from Carolyn!) were also delicious and everyone loved the variety and options they were able to choose from!

We also had the Stonedrift Spa team do the bridal party hair and makeup - they were awesome and the hair and makeup held out all day. Abbi was great to work with to help with day-of logistics and the hair/makeup schedule, Ashley was so kind and wonderful to work with while doing our hair and made our visions come to life (I don’t know how she does it!), and Madison was fun and so kind - it was impossible to not be laughing and enjoying yourself while she was doing our makeup. They were so incredible and did our makeup/hair right onsite, which made it so easy when it was time to get ready! (We also enjoyed a couples massage at the Spa the day after the wedding - Jennifer and Todd were fabulous!)

The Eagle Ridge Reservations team was also great to work with, making sure we had the right lodging and accommodations for our guests. The hotel and villas/rental properties were perfect for our guests and the shuttle made it easy for folks to get around! The whole hotel staff and team were so kind and welcoming to our guests.

Mike helped coordinate a golf outing that was perfect for the groomsmen + family/friends in town on Friday and was so flexible when we needed to increase our group size. The group had a great time and it was definitely a highlight of the weekend!

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to get married at Eagle Ridge. The Galena Territory has always been so special to our family, but it is even more special now. The location was stunning (Point Patio deck for the wedding and the Ballroom for the reception), but it was the Eagle Ridge team and their hard work and kindness that truly made this the most special day. Thank you Maggie and team for everything! We can’t wait to come back to visit.

Our wedding at Eagle Ridge was absolutely AMAZING. We were worried about weather a few days out, but it turned around and made for a beautiful day. We had the ceremony out on Point Patio with the gorgeous backdrop of the lake.

Cocktail hour was also on Point Patio which gave guests beautiful views of the lake. The reception was held in the Eagle Ballroom which was decorated with greenery and looked AMAZING. Better than what we could have even imagined. During sunset we stepped out to the deck and it made for some gorgeous photos. Overall, we were very pleased and grateful to have our wedding here. Alisha & Maggie were absolutely phenomenal and kept everything running smoothly.
So many guests commented on the resort and the small town and how much they loved it there.
We will certainly be back to celebrate our anniversaries and will be staying again in their lovely houses/villas.

I cannot say enough about the wedding team of Maggie, Alisha, and Sarah at Eagle Ridge. I had a vision for a Harvest table for all of our guests and they made it happen beyond my expectations. They worked with me with everything from the rehearsal to helping make sure my timeline was followed the day of the wedding and a parting breakfast for the guests the day after the wedding. I highly recommend this venue. The best part was the banquet package was all inclusive including the open bar and champagne toast.

We got engaged at Eagle Ridge (at the waterfall) in 2018 and immediately knew that was where we wanted to get married. We signed our contract by the end of the year and started planning a 250 person May 2020 dream wedding. Spoiler alert: that didn’t happen.
What DID happen turned out to be even more perfect, thanks to Maggie and the rest of the team at Eagle Ridge. They made the decision to postpone our wedding as painless as possible and Maggie helped us to reimagine our day as it evolved into a 50 person weekend getaway with a reception dinner. Thanks to Maggie we were able to relax that whole weekend and spend quality time with our guests. She helped plan a welcome dinner at the Highlands Restaurant, golf with the groom, a hair and makeup team for 11 of us, lunch and mimosas during our getting ready time, the reception, AND a farewell brunch. Throughout planning and the actual weekend she and her team were very attentive and made sure every detail was taken care of.
The property itself is gorgeous and has so many amenities to offer for a wedding venue. Our photos around the property turned out beautiful and our guests were so impressed with the scenery on Point Patio, where we had our reception. Our meals were all so delicious, and our guests are still talking about the Sinnablast dessert we got for each table to try- an Eagle Ridge specialty.
We looked at multiple venues before we initially booked, all in Illinois and all on a golf course. The prices were pretty comparable, but Eagle Ridge had everything we were looking for and we are so glad we decided to have our wedding there!

Our experience with Eagle Ridge and with wedding planner Maggie Truppa couldn't have been any smoother. In our case, all the wedding planning took place over the phone as we don't live in the area. Maggie was an absolute joy and coordinated our special day with wonderful vendors. The wedding day was beautiful and all the pieces came together seamlessly. Highly recommend this scenic venue and welcoming staff.

Maggie and Sasha were both so responsive and helpful during the wedding planning process. With Covid throwing a wrench into what seemed like everything, we were still able to have a wonderful day where our 43 guests felt safe. We had to downsize due to Illinois restrictions and change up seating arrangements and food service, however Maggie still made the day ours! Our guests raved about feeling safe and clean the entire event indoors and outdoors. They loved the food and being able to make weekend getaways themselves in Galena. The bridesmaids loved a spa day while the groomsmen enjoyed a round of golf the day before. We wish covid wasn't around, but were still so glad to celebrate our love in an unexpectedly perfect way at Eagle Ridge!

Eagle Ridge has always been a dream venue of mine - but with the help of Lizzy Fahey, our wedding day exceeded my expectations. Lizzy was so helpful with the entire planning process and made sure that all of our questions were answered. The staff at Eagle Ridge was really easy to work with and understood our wedding vision perfectly. Our guests were blown away at the views from the Ballroom and could not stop telling us how amazing the food was. Our wedding day was seriously the best day ever, and we could not picture it anywhere other than Eagle Ridge!

Eagle Ridge is the best possible place to be for a wedding in Galena, IL. The views are stunning, the halls are flexible in size, the service is fantastic, the food is delicious! Lizzy Fahey at ER was so helpful and responsive during our planning time and ease all of our worries and fears! I love my mother, but she is sometimes a bit of an overbearing perfectionist and Lizzy was patient and soooo helpful and sweet! This was the best day of my life and I don't think we could have done it anywhere else.

Eagle Ridge is the most beautiful place to have a wedding and Megan Carter and Rika Thibodeaux made planning an absolute dream. We had our rehearsal dinner at Woodstone Restaurant, our ceremony at the Point Patio, and our reception in the Eagle Ballroom. There isn't a place on the whole property that doesn't have stunning views. Our guests raved about their accommodations. The villas there are gorgeous and spacious.

I knew absolutely nothing when it came to wedding planning, but Megan took me, my husband and our parents by the hand and guided us every step of the way. Eagle Ridge is clearly set up so well for weddings, which was already amazing. They have the classiest materials and decor and all the staff know exactly what they are doing. It's a venue with everything already built in, including the wedding planner. You can customize as much as you want to, or let them do all the work for you (which we chose to go with). They will work directly with your vendors and coordinate everything. Megan basically read my mind and created the wedding of my dreams. She's also an amazing person and super fun to hang out with, so wedding planning was always a blast! She answered all of my and my mom's crazy emails that we sent at all hours of the night (and looked at all of my pictures of our cats) always with a smile on her face. She worked extremely hard to make sure everything was perfect for us.

Everything went SO smoothly the day of the wedding. Megan and Rika either had everything under control from the get go or they were just amazing at solving whatever problems popped up along the way. Either way, I knew nothing of any issues whatsoever and was able to fully focus on the perfect day and the most amazing celebration. Everyone had an absolute blast and kept talking about how it was the best wedding they had ever been to (objective fact). It was the best day of my life and I would absolutely recommend Eagle Ridge as a venue to anyone who's looking.

We would recommend Eagle Ridge Resort to any couple interested in having a truly unique and memorable wedding experience. The food is outstanding and the resort grounds are spectacular. Megan Carter and her team are an invaluable asset to Eagle Ridge. She was always available for us during the planning process, answering any questions we had. The day of our wedding she kept everything flowing smoothly and quickly grabbed us drinks and hors devours so she could show us the reception room before all the guests did. We are still getting many compliments about our special evening. We can't wait to visit again!

Eagle Ridge Staff - particularly Meagan - fabulous wedding coordinator - was awesome. All questions/concerns were addressed. We always felt completely at ease! We had rehearsal dinner on site at a home which Eagle Ridge catered and that was perfect. Ceremony and reception went off perfectly - timed to the minute! Awesome!!

Great place to have a ceremony and reception. They do everything for you and are very professional. Megan is great to work with, she is very responsive to emails and phone calls.

Joe and I had the best wedding reception. Everything was just perfect. Megan Carter was wonderful to work with. There was nothing that needed to be done. The food was fantastic. The view was incredible and decorating was perfect. We could not have asked for anything better.

I would highly recommend Eagle Ridge to anyone looking for a pressure free, almost relaxing wedding planning experience.

This is a beautiful venue to have a wedding and with Megan Carter, wedding coordinator, everything went perfectly!! I cannot say enough about Megan she was the perfect person to help every couple going through planning their wedding. Way to go Megan!!

The only downside is the Spa services need to be seriously looked at.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Eagle Ridge on 5/8/15, and could not have been happier with the food and service provided. Megan was so wonderful and easy to work with, and the staff was so accommodating not only for the dinner, but for the duration of our stay, and the stays of our guests. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay, and plan on definitely coming back!

We held our October 2014 wedding at Eagle Ridge, and couldn't be happier we chose this venue. We planned from afar (Boston), and the wedding coordinator, Megan, made us feel 100% at ease regarding the details of the big day. She was quick to respond to emails and phone calls, and went above and beyond to make the wedding day flow smoothly (this included everything from coordinating with our vendors to coming to the rescue with a sewing kit when I ripped the train of my gown). The front desk staff, bartenders, and servers were incredibly friendly and helpful -- several out of town guests commented on the Midwestern hospitality. The food was fantastic, including the wedding meal, next day brunch, and on-site restaurants. Finally, the setting was absolutely gorgeous. The fall foliage was unbelievable and we were very happy with everything from the guest rooms/homes to the ballroom. Highly recommend Eagle Ridge for your big day!

The view alone was perfect but the staff made this so relaxing for me as the bride. They do so many weddings that they can handle anything. I am so glad I had it hear. It was perfect and stress free! Megan Dombek was my planner there. She is amazing! I recommend this place and her to anyone!

Eagle Ridge is in such a beautiful location for the Midwest! We wanted our guests to have a mini getaway, which is why we chose Eagle Ridge for our wedding! We rented houses for our bridal parties + families- which made getting ready for our wedding so easy + fun! The houses also allowed us to spend more time with our loved ones + it felt like one big, best friend reunion. The guys loved being able to golf! With all of the festivities, the complimentary Eagle Ridge shuttles were perfect for traveling safely. The food and service were excellent!! I highly recommend doing the sweets bar as well, as that was a huge hit for our guests + a phenomenal display as well! I also loved being able to have the option to do late night snacks for our guests - the pizza helped to refuel those dancing spirits!! We had our reception in The Eagle Ballroom which is rustic + natural with its beautiful wooden beams, chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Lake Galena. Point Patio is where we held our ceremony + it was absolutely beautiful + surrounded by nature.

I truly felt my wedding day ran so smoothly because of my all-star vendor team + the staff of Eagle Ridge were INCREDIBLE!! Special shoutout to Maggie Truppa - one of the wedding coordinators! You are in excellent hands under her guidance!!! ! She made the planning process enjoyable + and eased my stress with how responsive, patient, efficient, organized, professional, kind, and genuine she was! Any bride is lucky to have Maggie as their coordinator! She is such a great communicator with every email + phone call + all throughout the wedding day!! There were no surprises on my big day, because they really ensure that all the big things + little things are decided and covered. Eagle Ridge was wonderful! We rented the Point Patio for our cocktail hour and the ballroom for our reception (married off-site at a church). ER is such a great venue for guests from Chicago - it is a few hours away from the city. We considered this a major PRO because our guests were staying at the resort so no one was worrying about getting home right away and they all had a blast in downtown Galena. Everyone complimented how it was a destination wedding without the flights! :) The venue is beautiful for photos inside and outside too. The food was very good and everyone was raving about our cocktail hour snacks. We rented houses and villas for our families and the wedding party to get ready. In retrospect, I wish we could've toured a couple before deciding because the photos on the website don't show every little detail.

Megan Carter (our wedding coordinator at Eagle Ridge) was great - super helpful and organized with all our small details and ideas. Overall, everything went smoothly. Our wedding party was even given a private room to rest for a few minutes before the cocktail hour started. She was extra patient with us and let us leave extra decorations, welcome bags, etc. in her office so we didn't have to move it afterward. The decor setup that Megan handled was perfect and she was upfront with us about costs through the whole planning process.

If we had to say something negative, I guess it would be that Megan has midweek days off (since she works weekends for all the events) so sometimes it took her a couple of days to respond, but this was never in regards to anything urgent so it wasn't a problem. In terms of flexibility the Woodlands Lounge manager(?) owner(?) bartender(?) wasn't the friendliest when we brought in who was left still partying after our reception ended at 11pm. We were told that we could use that bar from 11-1am for any late-night guests who weren't quite ready for the night to end. He eventually let us, but it could've been smoother.

We had a rehearsal dinner for 105 people at the Eagle Ridge Marian Pavilion and it was an amazing start to a fantastic wedding weekend. There is one thing that the families would change about the weekend. The service, food, and venue were fantastic.

We had our reception in the ballroom and it was breathtaking! Megan went out of her way to help us with the little details and everything came out flawlessly, just how I imagined! The grounds are beautiful, our friends/family all got huge houses on the property and made vacations out of it. It was so great to celebrate over a few days and be with family you don't get to see very often. The staff were all more than helpful, from the bellboy who was always available and willing to give a helping hand to the front desk staff who were so friendly to us and our guests (even at 2am). Thank you to everyone!

We had an outdoor wedding and reception at Eagle Ridge, it was amazing! Kelsea Brown is excellent to work with!!! Also had hair and makeup done by their spa and they did a great job! Highly recommended!!!

The moment my husband and I visited Eagle Ridge and met with Angie for the first time, we knew it was going to be the place to hold our wedding reception. We chose Eagle Ridge not only for it’s beautiful views (filled with green trees overlooking the lake) and large ballroom layout, but because we knew collaborating with Angie would be fun and easy, and it was! Throughout the wedding planning process Angie was very responsive. Living in the Chicago land area, I relied heavily on email when contacting vendors. I was constantly emailing Angie with various inquiries and she was always quick to respond answering all my questions. Eagle Ridge even allowed us to bring in a lot of our own supplies (which at a lot of venues, is a big no no). My mother made table runners for every table, we brought mason jars with candles for the patio, and various other things such as additional candle votives (we were allowed to bring our own rather than renting them through Eagle Ridge) and a bottle of vintage champagne my husband surprised me with. The day of the wedding was amazing. Everything went smoothly and according to plan. Angie and her team were there to assist with everything. I’m still receiving compliments from guests saying it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to. The only complaint I have is the price. We thought having our wedding in Galena rather than Chicago would save us money, and it really didn't. However, it was more beautiful and country chic than any chicago venue or suburb could provide. If you are thinking of having your wedding at Eagle Ridge, do it! It is a unique setting and Angie is so fun to work with. Thanks Eagle Ridge for an unforgettable wedding for my guests and I!

By the way, I also had my hair done by girls at the spa and it turned out great! All my bridesmaids loved theirs too.

Our wedding ceremony was held outside on the Point Patio overlooking the lake and our reception was held in the ballroom. Despite it being an incredibly hot and humid day, everything was absolutely beautiful. Our guests had an amazing time and we wouldn't have changed anything. Megan Carter is without a doubt one of the main reasons everything went so smoothly. Her professionalism is exactly what is required for such an event and her kindness always kept us at ease. She is a huge asset to Eagle Ridge! The chef was also excellent and made accommodations for a few tweaks we requested. We wanted to have a unique yet timeless wedding and Eagle Ridge truly lived up to our hopes.

This was a fantastic place! Pricey, but the staff were amazing, you very much so get what you pay for! The day turned out perfectly, everything was effortless on our end and was beautiful. Our friendly coordinators were there from beginning to end to make sure that it all ran smoothly and was exactly what we wanted.

Maggie at Eagle Ridge has been heaven sent. She responds at the speed of light and will answer any of my million questions with a smile on her face. I cannot recommend this place enough. It's gorgeous, pretty much all inclusive, and all around outstanding. I'm extremely excited to get married at this place!

Great location and wonderful friendly staff. Our wedding planner was amazing! The only thing I can say is the resort is beautiful but a few of the rooms could use a little updating. Otherwise I highly recommend!

The original block of reserved rooms was not enough and management worked with us on this. The manager at Woodstone (rehearsal dinner) was very flexible and offered helpful suggestions and input - the event was lovely! The bridal coordinator for our wedding at the Inn was very efficient and on top of everything, also provided calm assurance when the arbor blew over ruining our flowers - she put together some replacements for us! She was also on the line to get a DJ for us when our band was later than expected to set up (they came). We also had a breakfast and everything was set up beautifully for us, including all of our flowers arranged and lovely green tablecloths.

We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at Eagle Ridge in October 2014. The natural beauty of the resort and the view from the Point Patio cannot be out done. The coordinators at the facility, Megan and Kelsey were top notch, available to answer questions and offer their expert opinions on everything from seating to timeline. We heard from numerous guests (and we agree) the food was superb-no steroypical wedding chicken or bland sides here. We served our guests steak, scallop and salmon pinwheels or vegetarian lasagna. All food and appetizers served during our cocktail hour received rave reviews. Our guests also utilized the other resort amenities and had only positive things to say. If you're looking for a getaway location where all your guests can feel like they are on vacation as well as enjoying your wedding celebration, Eagle Ridge is the right place.

We had the most beautiful wedding ceremony and wedding reception at Eagle Ridge. Megan Carter, our wedding coordinator was delightful to work with, and made wedding planning a breeze.

Awesome service and everyone was extremely attentive. Would have liked more flexibility on some things such as the bar, but accommodations were made and in the end we were really happy with everything.

Our wedding was beautiful at Eagle Ridge! I've vacationed at this resort since I was young and it was the clear choice when planning my wedding. The prices are a little high for the area but well worth it. I did use an outside lighting vendor instead of their in house decorations which helped with the cost. Over all this resort is beautiful and will provide an amazing wedding for you!

I had my wedding at eagle ridge on the point patio and it was absolutely beautiful. Megan who was our wedding coordinator did a phenomenal job, she was very patient with me and helped me with any problems that I had. I had a couple of problems here and there with the Venue but over all it was wonderful. The food was good not great but the venue is absolutely beautiful and unlike anywhere else in IL it is hills and tons of trees and the Patio wedding site is on the patio out looking the lake.

Our venders did such an amazing job!! Cathy and Jeff from Unposed photography, Brandon from the After party (DJ), Rodney from special moments photo booth (he also did our vinyl floor, fabric and string lighting in our tent), Mari from Handpickd (florist), Bill spivey (bag piper) and Basil Conroy (officiant) were all AMAZING!! All of our guests kept saying how amazing the venue look and that is was the best wedding they been to and I give all that praise to our wonderful Venders and Megan who made everything perfect even with the little rain we had here and there it was a great day!!

Everything went great for the most part. A few minor issues. There were supposed to be long group tables at the rehearsal dinner and instead we arrived and there were individual tables of 8-10 which made things awkward for some guests as we did not have assigned seating. At the reception there were a couple seating mix-ups and some lighting requests that weren't honored. Otherwise everything was great. Beautiful venue, I just think it's a little too pricey and there is a lack of dining and bar package options.

We got married in a private house that we rented and it was EVERYTHING we wanted but we had to do all the work. This venue nickles and dimes you like the rest of the wedding industry. If your smart, you can work around it but they will comp you on nothing, regardless of how much you spend. Overall, a great experience for the do-it-yourself bride. I had to ask everything, the Wedding Coordinator was not intuitive and didn't offer any advice I didn't ask for.

We did our ceremony and rehearsal here and we had a great time. Things could have been a little more organized and the resort could have been a little more flexible for the ceremony requests we had but it was a great day!

My husband and I recently had our rehearsal dinner at Eagle Ridge Resort, and we were very disappointed with the level of service. We worked with Rika for about a year for our rehearsal dinner, and on the day of the dinner, she wasn't present. This wouldn't have been an issue had she explained who would be our point of contact or at least contacted us to let us know she wouldn't be there. When preparing for the dinner, we were told that we would have two long tables for our dinner of nearly 55 guests. This worked perfectly for us as it would alleviate us having to pick which immediate family members sat with us. However, when we arrived to the dinner, the tables were split into five dining sections. Since Rika wasn't there, we weren't sure who our point of contact was there, so we immediately starting asking servers to put more tables together. Most of them were extremely confused and started telling us no. It was extremely disheartening as we were trying our best to please our family members. Since the servers weren't being very accommodating, my husband and our family just started moving the tables ourselves. Generally speaking, the food was good and the portions were a great size. It took forever to get drinks even as the bride and groom. My husband asked a server four times for a beer until he went up to the bar himself to get it. At the end of the night, we weren't sure who to pay and when. There was a general lack of communication, and no one in charge greeted us ever, making it even more frustrating and confusing.

At the end of the rehearsal, I sent Rika and email telling her how upset we were. It took her four days to respond and didn't even apologize. The kicker is that she saw my husband the next day. She even escorted him to several vans to check for a lost wallet. She didn't speak ONE WORD to him. I am in awe of how rude she was to him considering how much our family spent between our dinner and our stay.
