    Fantastic Experience

    Jamie kept the party going! He knows how to read the crowd and play the appropriate songs to please a crowd and keep everybody dancing all night long. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ at our wedding. He kept us on schedule, was great at announcing, and professional.

    exceeded expectations

    We had a great experience with Jamie. Easy to work with, no-stress, and kept the whole evening flowing smoothly. He played all our jams and mixed in the perfect number of songs for older folks to dance to. He also offers a nice price point for his services and is definitely a great value compared to some other DJs. My only regret is that I didn’t get a chance to talk to him more at our wedding, since he seems like such a nice guy—I was too busy dancing all night!

    Great DJ, Created a great party at the reception!

    We booked Jamie for our November 2019 wedding and are thrilled we did. We had a mix of older family and younger friends attending the wedding and Jamie did an awesome job at helping us make sure everyone had a great time. We are still getting compliments from friends and families about what a wonderful time they had at the reception. Jamie’s super easy to work with and was incredibly flexible. We live about 2 hours away from Richmond where we got married and he was super accommodating meeting with us on short notice when we’d be in town and being available to plan most via email and over the phone. Highly recommend!

    We had such a great experience with Jamie!! He was so amazing to work with and was responsive to everything we asked. Everyone was dancing all night long!! Recommend him to anyone and everyone!

    Brought the party!

    Jamie was fantastic!! He played fantastic music during dinner and kept the dance floor packed during the rest of the reception!!! Highly recommend!

    Best local DJ

    Jamie Timberlake DJ’d our wedding on November 3 2019. He totally got our style and everyone was dancing! He helped keep the reception on task and running smoothly. The songs were edited well to fit good time frames and every said they had the best time!

    Jamie was the DJ at our wedding on 11/11/17 at Fairview Farm. He was awesome, and had a great personality. He was really quick to respond to any questions. We really enjoyed working with him, and he made the process so great from the start. He did amazing job at the wedding, and everyone had such a fun time!

    Everyone that works here is so nice! They are very easy to get a long with. They played all the songs we wanted for our ceremony and reception and also took requests! Would highly recommend this company!

    Jamie DJ’d our May 2017 wedding at Fairview Farm and did such an amazing job! My husband and I met with him a few weeks before the wedding to discuss what we had in mind in terms of genres, artists, specific songs, etc. and he really nailed it on the night of the wedding. Our guests seemed to really enjoy him and his music selections, too. Jamie knows his stuff and has a great, fun personality, as well. We enjoyed working with him and would highly recommend Dynamic DJ Services to anyone looking for a DJ in the greater Richmond area!

    Jamie was absolutely amazing. From the very first time I spoke with him to the wedding night, I was overwhelmingly happy with his services. He is so accommodating and easily to work with! He made our wedding day truly magical and I am SO glad we chose dynamic DJ! He really kept the party going and everyone had an amazing time. Any bride would be lucky to have Jamie as their DJ, he will not disappoint!

    Jamie is so friendly and professional! He has a wide range of music for all to enjoy and did a great job providing music for my wedding ceremony and reception. He even set up karaoke for the last hour of my reception. Jamie is so flexible and fun to work with! He is very affordable too :)

    Roger was the DJ for my wedding on 3/31/18. He did a wonderful job keeping the party going and the dance floor alive. He played some party classics and some things that were more suited for my reception. Roger was very receptive to things I wanted - father/bride & mother/groom dance song lengths and not playing everything that was requested. I would definitely recommend him and Dynamic DJ Services.

    Roger Braswell of Dynamic DJ Services did our daughter's wedding March 29, 2014. He and the owner, Jamie Timberlake had to be ready for inside or out when they set up. They adapted well to the alternate plan due to the weather, and worked with the celebrant on his mic and assessing the musicians' needs though they all had just met. Roger fit in well with the reception - did a good job with unusual name pronunciation, made it through a bridesmaid/groomsman name mixup, and made announcements/kept things moving along without being overbearing or obvious. He really listened to us when we made suggestions/requests, included everything we asked for (even though some were a little different!), and took requests on the spot at the reception.

    Not recommended

    I actually really liked Jamie and was excited to work with him. Unfortunately he canceled on us with our wedding 2 months away, he connected us with another DJ who is fine and seems nice, but I am not as excited. If you need someone reliable I would NOT count on Jamie. I know it just one review out of many, but had i known there as a possibility he would have canceled I wouldn’t have tried to hire him in the first place.

    Jamie came highly recommend and I will say that I am disappointed. He is responsible within communication and honestly you get what you pay for. A few things that really stood out --- my wedding was the in the evening and it was 90 degrees and he showed up in a red polo shirt! This is not a golf course; I would of expected him to more professional attire. Second, the song I chose to walk down stopped in the middle of me walking down and I had no idea what to do... really a bummer especially given that my Mother was walking me down instead of my Father (who passed away). Later on I heard when that had happened, he Oh SH*T so that my family members could hear this. Again, really disappointing and unprofessional. Third, when we were cutting our cake - no music was playing. Fourth, I gave him a play list and said please play these songs (there were at least 60); he played maybe 5 of them. It was just a terrible experience and would think twice about booking with him. All in all, just play music on your phone --- that's my recommendation.
