Delicious food, incredible service!

We used Duvall Catering at our Legare Waring House wedding, and were blown away! The cocktail hour passed apps, and stations were all incredible. So many of our guests have told us how delicious everything was. We were so happy with the service and the quality of food, highly recommend!!

Amazing catering!

We used Duvall Catering for our 110 person wedding - not only did Duvall offer the most competitive rate dollar wise, but they offered the BEST wedding food I have ever had. We did 3 stations for dinner and every station was phenomenal. All night long and the next day our guests were raving about how good the food was. NOW THE STAFF!!!! Alicia is who I worked with for quotes and the tasting and she is a gem, so easy to work with and very responsive. The crew on the day of the wedding day.... omg they were seriously incredible. So kind and brought the best vibes. They were treating our guests like family and it was incredible. Thank you Duvall for making our wedding day perfect.

Amazing food, drinks, and service!

From start to finish Duvall's was exquisite! They started by curating the perfect menu that highlighted the Low country and all of our favorites! We barely had to make any adjustments. They created amazing specialty cocktails, and late night snacks to add in some fun! I will never forget the food at our tasting, YUM and SO much food to try! The night of the wedding, the food remained incredible, and the drinks were delicious! The wait staff was eager to help, and assisted every guest. The bride and groom also always had a drink in their hand! Alicia was so great to work with and coordinate especially as this was a destination wedding for us!

Highly pleased!

Duvall catered our daughter’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. When we went for the tasting the food was wonderful and I hoped it would be the same on wedding day. I was not disappointed! Everything was fantastic! I’m still getting compliments from our guests. We chose stations which allowed our guests to get a variety of food. It was perfect! Emma was responsive to all my questions and guided me in selecting the meals. The staff were professional and polite. I would definitely recommend Duvall to anyone needing a caterer!

Outstanding!

Duvall catered our wedding they were wonderful. Alicia was so helpful in planning our day and Stephanie completely saved the day when our other vendors were flakey and decided to skip out early. I was super nervous the day of our wedding and Stephanie assured me that she would handle it all. Hindsight is 20/20 but I wish I would have used Duvall for everything. They food was delicious and on point. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. We had a tasting before our event and it was a really fun experience and Alicia was happy to make adjustments that we asked for. Duvall's customer service is top notch and I hightly recommend Duvall!

Loved everything about Duvall Catering!

We are finally catching our breath from all the wedding hoop-lah. Wanted to share how much we loved the food, service, bartender, chef and servers. Everything went very smoothly and all staff was very professional. We are very, very pleased with everything Duvall Catering did to make our wedding day spectacular! A special shout out "thank you" to Averil, Chris and our planner Leigh Ann. Many of our guests were also impressed and wanted to know who the caterer was. If you all ever want a referral let us know. Write down these names: Kasey, Ashlyn, Wendy, Caroline, David, Jordan, Grace and John-Michael! AMAZING, TALENTED, PROFESSIONAL, TIMELY and EXTRAORDINARY! They did the flowers and decor for my daughter's wedding! I thought I had a vision, but they took that vision and put it on steroids! Such hard working, phenomenal people! Gorgeous Florals & Delicious Food

We hired Duvall for food/beverage, floral, and rentals for our wedding, and I can’t give a more glowing recommendation! From the very beginning, they were sensitive to our budget while making sure our guests had a great experience and delicious options throughout the evening. I’m so glad I trusted them for floral. We worked with Kasey and she put together options that worked with our budget and were beautiful and vibrant like we wanted!

Everyone on their team was so detail-oriented and great to work with - from the bartenders that made sure our guests were having a great time (no watered down drinks here!), to Emma, the catering manager who gave us delicious food recommendations, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Even with a surprise thunderstorm, they quickly sprang into action to adjust the table decor and switch the bar to inside (serving drinks as soon as they could). I can’t recommend Duvall enough!!

AMAZING in every aspect

Duvall’s catered our son’s rehearsal dinner. To say that we were satisfied is an understatement! The food was absolutely phenomenal!!!! Alicia was great & easy to work with. She responded quickly & helped me with every question. Chase was my on-site coordinator. He was amazing!!!!! The staff was great too! I HIGHLY recommend Duvall’s!!

Exceeded My Expectations!

Choosing Duvall to cater for our wedding was the best decision! Abbey was incredibly responsive, and over the past year we have exchanged over 120 emails in order to coordinate this wedding and it was just perfect. Duvall had the added challenge of providing a fusion menu of southern and Indian cuisine, and Abbey worked hard with the chef to come up with appetizers and dinner items until I was happy with the menu. Living in Charleston, finding Indian food was my biggest challenge I was almost on the verge of having to bring food from outside the state which was going to cost a lot in order to fulfill another company’s minimum order as well as travel costs. Duvall hands down, saved me. The day of the tasting, I was in tears at how well they had done with the Indian food (the Southern food was also incredible), but it just meant a lot to me the lengths they went to for me. And then wedding day---Duvall was incredibly helpful and helped run my reception like a dream. My husband and I are also very grateful for the extra food they packed for us! Our guests are still talking about how good the food was. What I most appreciated about Duvall is that no question was a stupid question, and I wasn’t meant to feel like a burden or that I was asking for anything extra, as at the end of the day, all I wanted was for my guests to be happy and have a good time. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so incredible.

Duvall Catering did an all around excellent job for our daughters wedding. Alicia was fantastic to work with - she provided great recommendations and very flexible in allowing us to adjust menu. Best catering company in the Lowcountry HANDS DOWN!

We worked with Duvall events using both their catering and floral/decor services for our wedding. When I reached out to them about our options, they were incredibly responsive and flexible with what we were looking for.

Alicia assisted us with creating a menu and answered any questions we had about pricing, food packages, and what would work best together. The food was so on point, our guests are still raving about the food to this day. Recommendation: Their mac and cheese was phenomenal and I highly recommend it. The hors d'oeuvres were delicious (arancini rice balls, fried green tomatoes, bacon-wrapped scallops, and chicken and waffle bites).

What's also great about Duvall is that they are a one-stop shop for all of your event needs, so we were also able to use their floral and decor services as well. Shout out to Kasey and the floral and decor crew for making our wedding look so elegant and spot on. They were quick to set up and quick to break down at the end of the night without any issues.

I didn't have an ounce of stress because Duvall assured me that everything was taken care of—and it totally was. The staff was attentive, polite, and professional.

When you hire them, you'll know why they are dubbed the best in the business here in Charleston. Thank you to everyone at Duvall who made our day so wonderful.

The BEST food !!!!

Looking for someone to cater your wedding? LOOK NO FURTHER!!! The best decision ever! We had the best o'dourves to kick off the reception! I decided to go with stations for my wedding which included a meat carving station, taco station + a BBQ station. It was spectacular!!! Now for the fun stuff, dessert, just flat out amazing!! Overall, just the best! You WILL NOT be disappointed!

Unmatched Service and Taste!

Hiring Duvall for our food and bev was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Alicia was so helpful in making sure our menu was perfect and was happy to assist me with last minute changes. We chose 3 small plate stations and it gave our guests a chance to taste all of our favorites! The food was absolutely delicious and HOT. My husband's father is a master chef and he loved ALL of it. As far as the service goes, our guests are still talking about how accommodating the staff was. It was pouring rain during dinner and the staff were still so nice and happy to help even while getting drenched walking back and fourth to the kitchen. The bartenders were also a huge hit! I can't recommend Duvall enough if you're looking for top notch food and bev for your wedding!

Rehearsal Dinner Success!

Duvall provided flowers and signage for our son's rehearsal dinner. The blooms were gorgeous and blended well with the bride's selection for the wedding. They were utilized again on Sunday for a luncheon and were still fresh and beautiful. Duvall is definitely on my call list for future events.

Such a great team!

We loved working with Lauren at DuVall! Her and the entire team for our wedding day were so awesome. It was magical

I am fresh off an amazing collaborative party planning experience with Duvall Catering & Events in Charleston. My son and his wife chose Charleston as the location for their destination wedding which required me to joyfully but immediately seek out a venue and a highly competent catering and decor company. The task was no small one; plan a beautiful plated rehearsal dinner for 84 guests from my home in Chicago. Enter Duvall Catering & Events and Alicia Brewer, Senior Catering and Events Manager and Ashlyn Moylan, Floral and Decor Sales Manager. I humbly refer to them as the dynamic duo!
With the outstanding guidance of Alicia, we planned a lovely plated meal for our guests. The food was outstanding and the service matched. Alicia was flexible and unwavering in her commitment to be sure everything was to our high satisfaction all throughout the planning process as well as the day of our event. I cannot say enough about how seamlessly the service team operated the night of our dinner to professionally serve our guests a delicious meal. Having Alicia onsite for the duration of our party showed her commitment to us and was such a comfort. Nothing could rattle her, not even two unexpected guests for dinner.
She managed everything with reassurance, ease and grace.
The decor for our event was an extremely important element to me and I found a willing and skilled partner for this part of the planning process in Ashlyn. She enthusiastically and professionally steered me through a maze of ideas I brought to her, encouraging me to share my vision and ensuring me she could deliver an amazing finished look, which she absolutely did! Very rarely do I find that my expectations are fully met much less exceeded. This experience however was everything and more than I asked for. Ashlyn, listened and worked hard to understand what I was trying to achieve and saw to it that the look I wanted materialized. It was magical!
It is important to also note that the communication and follow-up with Duvall was outstanding. Emails were always answered and phone calls returned in a timely manner.
Working with Duvall was the best decision I could have made! This sentiment is echoed by the Bride and Groom and all our happy guests!

Duvall made our wedding vision come to come! Perfection!

We would give Amanda Gosnell and the Duvall team 10 stars if we could! Where to begin..

My now husband and I live in New York City, so Charleston was a destination wedding for us. Having an event planning background and being super particular, my expectations for our wedding decor and vibe were very high. I had a pretty clear vision of what I wanted, but was missing someone to pull it all together, and that’s exactly where Duvall came in.

On our initial call with Amanda, I could tell our styles would mesh well together. Not to mention she was beyond sweet and so flexible and accommodating to working within our budget. She made countless…and I mean COUNTLESS revisions to our proposal month after month. Amanda was incredibly patient with me - giving me tips and suggestions on how to bring everything to life and reassured me everything was going to be perfect.

Amanda also responded to every. single. one. Of my emails in the most timely manner — which, as a bride, was my #1 criteria.

Duvall NAILED my bridal bouquet - it was the most unique and gorgeous bouquet I’ve ever seen. The ceremony florals, the reception decor everything was what I envisioned and more!

OH - we also ordered our cake through Duvall which was super convenient. It was delicious and beautiful, too :)

Amanda is a true expert in what she does and we couldn’t be more grateful to have been paired with her to execute our big day.

The best!!

Hiring Duvall was easily one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! We brought them on to handle catering, floral, and decor and they did an AMAZING job. We worked with Lauren and Kasey and they were the sweetest duo to work with! They were so patient with me when I asked them to make a million changes to our proposal (on both the catering and floral/decor end) and they really took the time to understand everything we wanted and accommodated all of our concerns, our budget, and special requests. The food was beyond delicious! We had so many guests comment on how it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. And the catering team on the day of the wedding was outstanding - so attentive and so on top of everything! The florals and decor were also GORGEOUS. My wedding had a little more of a boho vibe and I figured it was probably a little different than what people are used to but Kasey nailed my vision and I was blown away by how perfect everything looked! I would get married all over again if I could just so I could work with Duvall, Lauren, and Kasey again!!

Corporate Event

I used Duvall for a corporate dinner held at the Old Exchange. Ashlyn was great to work with. Her suggestions for flowers and decor were amazing. She worked with me to set the right mood for the setting and helped me stay within budget.

The staff was so efficient and moved at lightning speed. It simply astounded me how the pulled it all together in such a short amount of time.

Phenomenal experience all around! Hire them!!!

We truly can't begin to express how wonderful it was to work with Duvall. We had a very small 8 person elopement/micro wedding and while our event was tiny, we were always made to feel we were every bit as important as a larger and grander affair. We were working primarily with Emma who was an absolute delight from start to finish. She was warm and friendly, but also highly attentive and detail oriented. Emma was always so quick to respond and flexible in adjusting to our changing needs. From helping us plan our menu, responding to dietary requests, and seating arrangements - she truly helped and guided us ever step of the way.

When our wedding day finally arrived, we were absolutely blown away! The flowers exceeded our expectations - completely lush and romantic and the colors so perfectly suited to my dress as well as to the exquisite room we were married in (and from which I took color inspiration). Kudos to Kasey in floral and decor for nailing my requests! And the food - wow! It completely blew us away. It was over the top delicious and all of our guests were raving about it. We had filet mingon and it was so tender that it didn't even require a steak knife. It was far and away the best meal I've had at a wedding!

Our day of event manager, Brynn, could not have been more fantastic. She was lovely and saw that everything was taken care of at exactly the right time. She kept things humming along, and we felt we were in such good hands all night long!

We truly couldn't have asked for a better event. It was all our dreams come true and felt like sheer magic. We absolutely couldn't have done it without the team at Duvall. I highly, highly recommend this wonderful team!

Amazing wedding catering with the best staff!

We are so glad we ended up with Duvall for our wedding! Alicia, the catering manager, is incredible. From her first menu proposal to the day of the wedding, she was absolutely wonderful. Between the food allergies, vegetarians, and my family’s high expectations, she went above and beyond to accommodate us, help us budget, and construct a delicious and well-flowing meal. Her communication went above and beyond any other vendor I’ve had the pleasure of knowing — she checked in consistently and proactively with questions most would not consider. The food (which we were actually able to eat, thanks to her offer to make plates of our favorite dishes) was SO good, especially the dairy-free fried green tomatoes the chefs made specifically to accommodate my milk allergy. We could not recommend Duvall more!

The food was DELICIOUS!
The cake (especially the icing) was OUT OF THIS WORLD!
The flowers....were absolutely perfect! I may or may not have wanted to cry when my momma brought me the bouquet!!
I had bought a the finger vase before we decided on a catering company. Duvall flower department did better than I could have ever dreamed with it! Duvall is incredible! Seriously! The cake... I have craved since our wedding day. It was truly the best cake I’ve ever put in my mouth! My husband even raved about it and he doesn’t even like cake.
Also, we got engaged mid October 2018. We decided on a venue beginning of November 2018 and contacted Duvall immediately because our wedding day was December 2018. We had a contract and they had everything set up within that same week! We don’t live in Charleston and worked around mine and my husband’s schedule to meet with us a few weeks before the wedding.

Amazing food and service!

It’s true, you get what you pay for but with Duvall, we feel like we got more then what we paid for! The BBQ and Shrimp and grits were amazing! Also the best and cheapest bar service we found, even with the local craft beer we chose! They are a must use!

Loved Duvall!!

Loved working with Alicia and Amanda!! Duvall was awesome at setting up all of our decor and food - I was barely involved - from setup to tear down they were all over it!! I never worried about a thing and was SO pleased with how it all went!! We did get feedback from guests that it was some of the best wedding reception food they have ever had!! :)

Amazing Service!

Everything with Duvall was perfect. My main contacts were Alicia B, Amanda G and Ashlyn. They were extremely professional and responsive. Alicia helped a lot when it came down to food/alcohol decisions and my budget; food was delicious and there was absolutely no lack of it at the event! Ashlyn was my decor and flowers, and I got exactly what I asked for! Amanda was my planner and boy did she knock it out of the park. Not only was the decor and set up how I envisioned but I honestly had nothing to worry about on the day of. I did not even have to worry about having a drink in hand, that was also taken care of by the Amandas. I would do it all over again with Duvall.

The absolute best!

We hired Duvall for our catering, decor, and floral and it was by far our best decision! It was so convenient being able to book so many of our things in one place. Not only were they awesome to work with, but they provided the best of everything. First off, we worked specifically with Amanda and Kasey and they were both so kind and knowledgeable on everything. They were both so easy to communicate with and there whenever I needed them.

The food was absolutely WONDERFUL! We chose the tacos (best ones I’ve ever eaten), the BBQ (which came with some delicious blue cheese cole slaw), and the shrimp and grits. They were all a hit with our guests. Duvall allowed me to come and do a tasting with them before signing our contract and I never looked back after that!

The florals were BEAUTIFUL, and exactly what I was looking for. Kasey understood my vision and brought it to life. She also did a scaled down version of my bouquet for my bridal portraits (which by the way, I totally forgot to pick up prior to the day, but her along with her assistant were so accommodating and allowed my to pick it up that next day). Everything was perfect.

The decor was top notch. They were able to provide everything I needed/wanted, including a freestanding door for our outside ceremony, vintage lounge sets, a photo backdrop for our guests, and so much more all in our color scheme too.

Duvall did an absolute wonderful job. They made our wedding a dream come true for us. To see it all come together on the day of was just so beautiful. I will never ever ever stops recommending them!!

Fabulous experience!

We hired Duvall for our desert bar, wedding cake, flowers, decor, and when all of that planning went so well, we hired Amanda G. For our day off coordinator!

I can’t say enough how fabulous EVERYTHING was and Amanda was my saving Grace the day before and day of. All of our friends and even other vendors were thoroughly impressed with her!

Dream come true!!

I don't even know where to begin..
Duvall was fantastic! I loved they were like a one stop shop. We used them for everything. From decor, tables,chairs,floral,bar,food,cake,they even suggested a DJ for us(who was equally fantastic) I also had Lauren for my coordinator with Duvall. Lauren was amazing! I booked with Duvall a year in advance from my wedding(we also live in another state)and Lauren was always in communication with me and so helpful with an questions or concerns that came up. The day of the wedding I felt so at ease! I knew Lauren along with the inter Duvall team had everything under control. (Including the trailer full of my on decor I had brought along) And I was right! Everything looked beautiful and just like I had envisioned. The day could not have gone any smoother or more perfect with out them. I would highly suggest working with Duvall for all your wedding needs!

I had a destination wedding in Charleston on June 15. I used Duvall for floral, decor, rentals, catering, bar & coordination! I live in Oklahoma so I knew it would be hard to plan everything online and over the phone, especially when we are in different time zones! Lauren was my coordinator and my main point of contact for Duvall. From day one Lauren was so patient with me and so incredibly helpful, also she is just such a sweet person! She was there to direct us and keep us on time for the wedding and did such an amazing job, I don't know what I would have done without her! Zoe, who does the floral and decor, was SO great, I described to her what I wanted and she just GOT it. That girl is talented! The florals were so beautiful and my guest would not stop talking about how great the food was!!!!!!!!!! The service was amazing as well. Lauren, Zoe & Duvall made everything run smoothly and perfectly for the big day and I cannot thank them enough! Duvall literally does it all and I would 100% book them again!

They came as part of the package with The Carolina Belle. We hired the boat for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding and reception. I did not know who the caterer was. We were presented with three different menu options, and the kids chose what they wanted. I was a bit worried, but it was completely unwarranted. The food was excellent. There was plenty and people ate well. Everyone spoke of the shrimp penne pasta, the pork loin with apricot chutney, the yummy mixed veggies, and the chocolate chip bread pudding. By the end of the evening, everything had been eaten. Nothing went to waste! Thank you, Duvall Catering, for making my daughter and son-in-law's wedding so very special.

Duvall is a one stop shop that has everything. We worked with Ashlyn and Lauren and they are amazing!! Both of them are so patient as we changed our minds one hundred time for the year and a half of planning. They work with your requests and really come through. We greatly appreciate all they and Duvall did for our wedding, as they made it a night to remember. The food, drinks, and decore, is top quality and will not disappoint. Highly recommend!!

I began working with Amanda M. from Duvall a year and a half before our wedding and I have to say she must be a saint-- the number of questions I pestered her with over that time was insane, but she answered every one politely and was always a pleasure to deal with! We had Duvall handle our catering, bar, rentals, and floral and everything turned out great. We had numerous compliments about how amazing the food was and the flowers were beautiful! The week of our wedding it was supposed to rain and Amanda worked so hard to make sure that everything would be okay for our wedding. I even changed around the location for the ceremony at our venue the morning of the wedding and she never once complained. Wedding planning is stressful but everyone at Duvall definitely helped take away some of that stress for me!

I cannot say enough great things about Duvall! I first chose them as my caterer, then later my florist and then after our tasting our Baker! This was a destination wedding and they made it sooo easy using their 3 services! From the beginning Lauren was also so prompt and helpful! Then after chatting with Zoe I knew I had to chose them for my floral team as well! I got to meet both Lauren and Zoe at our tasting about 6 months before the wedding and knew we'd made the right decision. They were both so friendly, helpful and professional throughout the entire process, making planning my destination wedding way easier than expected!

The day of the wedding their team did an AMAZING job, the weather threw a bit of a curveball but they all handled it perfectly. We felt so bad for the staff who were getting soaked between the kitchen van and veranda but they never let themselves seem phased, everything went off without a hitch. The bar staff were great and made sure everyone especially myself, my husband and even my mother were perfectly taken care of. People were also obsessed with our signature Plantation Cocktail! The food was great as expected, especially the late night sliders and fries everyone loved it! My family (who like to think of themselves as food/dessert critics) could not stop raving about the wedding cake! My family members could not stop saying how the cake was the best cake they have ever had (and many have traveled the world)! They were actually disappointed that the baker wasn’t local to us up in MA!

When it came to the floral/decor I could not have been any happier with Zoe and her team! I was OBSESSED with my bouquet and the rest of the arrangements! Everything looked so beautiful!

I would absolutely recommend Duvall for their catering, bar, floral/decor and cake services!

We used Duvall Floral for some of our wedding flowers. I worked with Ashlyn and she is great. Duvall has a great operation. You can't go wrong with Duvall. THey are professional. Ashlyn, is easy to work with. She wants to make your wedding day great. We used Duvall for the bridal cascading bouquet, boutonnierres, and floral head pieces. Everything was beautiful. We were so pleased. The price was right. They were accomodating for our small wedding requests and it helped us out alot. They followed all instructions and make the flowers just like the photos we provided.

I would use Duvall again for any upcoming functions. You will be happy using Duvall for a wedding, etc. Good people and they do a great job.

Duvall Events was an absolute dream throughout the wedding process! I was very intimidated going into wedding planning and preparation, however Zoe and her entire team walked me through it with ease! I honestly do not know what I would have done without Zoe - her design, florals, recommendations and guidance were invaluable. She ensured that my black tie wedding was everything I could have imagined. She even included a cigar bar for my husband, which was a huge hit! If I had to do it all over, I would absolutely use Duvall Events again. I hope to use Duvall and Zoe for events to come!

We loved working with Amanda at Duvall! She was very helpful in choosing the food and drinks for our wedding reception and cocktail hour. We used Duvall for food and beverages. Duvall was open to changing a few of their menu items to better suit our tastes. The food was great (people are still talking about the fried green tomato hors d'oeuvres), and the staff was friendly and professional. We also did a tasting with another popular caterer in Charleston. Duvall blew them away in both courtesy, friendliness, taste, and value. You will not go wrong if you choose Duvall!

My son and his bride had 10 weeks to plan a wedding at the Legare Waring House . Duvall staged the wedding set up, provided the wedding planner, the flowers, food and bar. It was a charming and intimate affair which was perfectly executed.

Duvall handled all aspects of our wedding from food, decor, rentals to coordination. Initially, I was the bride that thought I could do it all. I plan events for a living....however, about 6 months out and 1.5 military deployments in, I realized I was over my head with the stress alone. And this should be a time of enjoyment for a bride and groom. So Lauren jumped on as my coordinator and with the few pictures I provided her of my vision and my budget, Lauren was able to work with her team and create a fairytale wedding and the wedding of my dreams. From the moss draped chandeliers to the mighty oak tree wrapped in lights, every aspect was perfect and romantic. Duvall delicately dripped ivory fabric throughout the rafters and added moss with vibrant wine and burgundy flowers to the 6 hanging chandeliers. The tablescapes were so delicate and whimsical with scattered branches, candles and lanterns.
The food was phenomenal. For the cocktail hour, we chose oysters on the half shell and the antipasto display. The display itself was breathtaking. I didn't want anyone to eat it and mess it up! The display had grilled veggies, charcuterie assortment, assorted cheeses, caprese and crostini. The dinner we chose was buffet style. We chose a herbed pork loin, chicken breast with mushroom cream sauce, a root veggie medley, green beans with garlic and southern baked Mac and cheese. The next day, all people talked about was how fantastic the food was! Lauren even packed us a to go box and we devoured it as soon as we got back to the hotel room! For dessert, we went with a mini sweet dessert display with coconut chocolate truffles, chocolate covered strawberries, peanut butter balls, chocolate mousse in a chocolate cup, mini cupcakes and banana pudding.
We highly recommend Duvall for all aspects of your event. The ease of having a one stop shop made my like so easy during those last few weeks and everything turned out just perfect!

My husband and I hired Duvall for our destination wedding at Legare Waring House. We live in New York so we had to get this right the first time. Throughout the whole process, Alicia Brewer was so responsive. While searching wedding venues, we learned that Duvall has an prestigious reputation, so I was nervous to inquire with them. We were so excited that they were completely willing and able to work within our budget. All our guests were raving about the food and the presentation of it. They also organized our rentals through Snyder, which was a huge help. It was absolutely wonderful! We were in good hands with Duvall and would definitely love to work with them again.

We worked with Amanda and Alicia and we can't thank them enough for putting the entire wedding together. From the decor, to the floral, and most importantly the food and drink they do it all! I had compliments ALL night about how good the food was and I must agree! The biggest hit was the ice cream bar st the reception, that Alicia upgraded for free to a Ben and Jerry's ice cream bar! They helped us out a lot with the details and I would recommend them to anyone!

I cannot say enough kind words about Emma, Zoe, and the entire Duvall team. This was a bit of a destination wedding for us, and we hired Duvall for catering, bar, decor, floral and planning. That is definitely the way to do it! Emma was extremely helpful with picking our menu and finalizing details, jumping on the phone with me if I had even the smallest question, and walked me through pricing and any necessary details. She was wonderful! Zoe worked on the floral/decor/planning side of the process and was unbelievably efficient. I have one defining moment from my wedding day, watching as the decor/florals came together about 3 hours before the ceremony. Zoe and her team were working quickly, efficiently, and absolutely NAILED our vision for the ceremony/reception. Our flowers were outstanding and I am still getting comments on how beautiful they were! Zoe and her team made sure our family had cocktails and appetizers during photos post-ceremony, which was fabulous and truly appreciated by all. She was able to re-purpose a lot of our ceremony details for the reception, which saved us some $$ as well - totally would have never thought to ask about that, but she suggested it and we loved the idea! Even with all of my silly emails about details throughout our 2 year engagement were reflected perfectly. We would pick Duvall over and over given the chance - and we wish we could do it all over again! Thanks Zoe, Emma, and the Duvall team!

Duvall was amazing to work with! They made all of our visions come to life! We used Duvall for everything the food was amazing, flowers were gorgeous, decor was perfect! Margaret and Zoe were so great to work with! If I had to do it all over again I would use Duvall every time! The only thing I would say is I wish we got sent home with more food and cake and cupcakes from the wedding because it was so good and we barely got to eat any of it lol

We worked with Margaret for all of our catering, cake, and rentals! Margaret was FABULOUS! I loved every minute of working with her. I probably sent her way too many emails through the planning process, but she was always willing to listen to my newest idea, find all the rentals I needed for my visions, and make any changes that were needed! Two weeks before our wedding, my fiancé was diagnosed with cancer and several members of my family were admitted to the hospital and were no longer able to attend our destination wedding. During this time Margaret kept me sane and worked with me to come up with new seating charts, even when the count seemed to change daily! She was always so positive and encouraging and we cannot thank her enough for being the glue that kept everything together!

We worked with Alicia to help plan our wedding at Magnolia Plantation in May 2017. Alicia was so very helpful and extremely easy to work with! She was so patient with us as we kept constantly changing our menu and even worked with the chefs to create personalized menu selections!
We used Duvall for our catering, bar, cake, floral, and decor. They have everything you need all within the same company making planning soooo much easier!
The food was absolutely delicious! I can honestly say that it wasn't your average "wedding food." Our guests were more than pleased and raved about the food - we're still getting compliments from friends and family!
The staff was very professional and kept our guests happy, as well. They were also very attentive to my husband and my needs - we didn't have to lift a finger all night!
The decor was stunning!!! Everything was so elegant and exactly how I envisioned it!
We worked with Zoe for the flowers and she was such a gem to work with. She listened to everything we wanted and was able to produce pictures to make sure everything was just how we envisioned it. She even changed my bouquet from my bridal portraits to the wedding and it was so stunning!!!

I am so thankful that I found Duvall for our Charleston wedding! Duvall took care of all of our needs, beautifully! From the lovely decor, delicious food, cake and fantastic service, we were very pleased. Our guests raved about the passed hor doerves and dinner options.
I never had to be stressed on our wedding day, as I knew that Duvall was taking care of all of it! We felt that the staff was professional and gracious from start to finish. I highly recommend Duvall for any wedding needs-they can take care of it all in fantastic style!

Duvall was great to work with. Amanda, for food and catering, and Leanne, for floral and decor, were very responsive and accommodating. The food was great, the steak you could cut with a fork, and the appetizers delicious. The decor was great. The wedding was at magnolia plantation, and Duvall did a outstanding job with the decorations and tables. Would highly recommend them, as I would always use them.

We used Duvall for catering and bar services. They are so accommodating and the staff is very profession. The waiters made sure my husband and I got food during cocktail hour. Which was wonderful because we were so hungry. The food is delicious. The staff is so nice. I would recommend Duvall for any couple!

Not only was the food amazing, the staff was so professional and polite. They did a great job working around my small venue, never felt in the way, and bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed.

Everyone that I worked with the worked for Duvall was very professional and easy to work with. They have such great selections of food and flexibility for menus. I am a vegan and our wedding cake was the best wedding cake we've had! All other rentals and decor throughly them were great. Great selection and great people - I'd highly recommend to anyone!

We were so happy with our decision to hire Duvall. Alicia was wonderful at helping with menu planning and answered all of my questions about different menu options and pricing. She also helped with the floor plan, which was a huge help. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. And we loved the "to go" bag they packed us to sample the hors d'oeurves we didn't' get to sample. Highly recommend.

Choosing Duvall for my wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Amanda and Madison were so great in helping us plan all of the details for catering and bar as well as floral. Everyone at Duvall is so friendly and easy to communicate with. We had Amanda's help as a day-of coordinator and she was excellent in making sure she knew exactly what we were envisioning. Everything went so smoothly and the food was delicious, not to mention the attentive service and great bartenders. Madison created truly beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces and she was so flexible when I asked to use my own vessels. As a mostly out of town bride, I really enjoyed working with Duvall and I would highly recommend them!

Duvall is AMAZING!! They were one of the preferred caterers for Boone Hall, and when my husband and I went for a tasting we signed a contract with a deposit on the spot! The tasting was delicious, Chef came to walk us through each dish, and we felt so spoiled. It was a wonderful meal! Their customer service is amazing; from the reserved parking space with our names on it for our tasting appointment, to the flexibility creating a requested dish, and matching the price of a competitor's bar service. We ended up doing lighting, bar service, and rentals in addition to catering, and could have have been happier! Everyone raved about our food, saying it's some of the best food they had in Charleston, especially the lobster mac n cheese bar, beef tenderloin, bacon wrapped dates, and lamb chops. My husband and I felt so special, spoiled, and really well taken care of. They handled a transition between coordinators smoothly, and Janie and Zoe were wonderful to work with. You will love Duvall!!!!

DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER. I used Duvall for both catering and décor (highly recommend using them together because their teams work seamlessly with each other). I worked with Alicia for catering and Ashlyn for décor. I can't say enough good things about their responsiveness, professionalism and how helpful and patient they were during the planning process. As for catering, Alicia made it simple and painless for me to choose the menu and we received SO many compliments on the food. For Decor, I can't thank Ashlyn enough for all the time she spent on my endless email threads with what I wanted incorporated and for turning my vision into a reality. I can't say enough good things about these women and our experience with this company!

I would suggest that they choose Duvall. We chose Duvall for food, decor, flowers and bakery. It was the best decision we ever made. Having Duvall to cover every part of the wedding allowed for total coordination. The food was delicious the decor was just as we imagined, the flowers lovely, the wait staff impeccable and the cake a work of art! I would like to specifically thank Janie, Ashlyn and Laurah for saving the day. A sudden thunderstorm came up not only changing the outside service, but also knocking out the power at the reception location! Duvall's handled everything professionally, they just stepped up and organized everything. . . even getting the generator running! Everything turned out perfect! Duvall's is much more than a catering service, they are family. They really care about their clients. I never had trouble getting up anyone from Duvalls. They returned emails and phone calls in a timely manner. Choosing Duvalls was a stroke for luck for us. I want to thank each of you for making this wedding a perfect forever memory.

Duvall Events was the main vendor for our wedding in May! We worked with Isabelle and Ashlyn and they are the absolute best! From day one they made us feel like we were the only bride & groom in Charleston and that our wedding was their top priority. They are both very energetic and creative and that showed on our wedding day. Duvall handled our rentals, floral, decor, catering, and bar service and it was all amazing. I could not have had a better experience. I used Duvall catering and decor for our destination wedding and everything exceeded our expectations. I used Duvall Events for Catering, Floral and Decor. As a foodie couple we were nervous about how catered food would turn out. The crew at Duvall allowed us to create a unique menu that met our tastes and represented our venue and family food personalities. Duvall held a tasting so we could sample each dish before the event and allowed us to tweak things based on our preferences. We, and our guests, were blown away by how fresh and warm the food was the night of the event. Not only did everything taste incredible, but it was presented beautifully too! At the end of the night, we were even given a bag packed with containers of all of our wedding food to take back to the hotel. Our bag included champagne, glassware and utensils and was such a nice surprise! The decor team was also great, they worked with me to bring my vision to life and helped me stay within budget Duvall is a great one stop shop for all of your planning needs!

Madison and Alicia at Duvall have been nothing short of amazing so far! They took the time to walk me through our venue and describe layouts and decor they had planned for me. They understand my vision and theme completely and I cannot wait to see it all come together when we tie the knot in September! Amanda at Duvall did an amazing job making sure our food was absolutely perfect! She helped us pick out a menu that would blend northern food and southern food together to satisfy all of our guests. At the tasting she wanted to make sure everything was just right. She took detailed notes and fixed everything we wanted fixed. On our wedding day the food was amazing! I cannot thank Janie and Duvall Events enough for their catering and bar service for my wedding! I loved my whole experience from start to finish. From our initial meeting, to our tastings, to our wedding day, they truly made us feel at ease and listened to what we wanted for our wedding. I was most worried about our food and our cake, as I LOVE FOOD. I wanted it to be delicious and not your typical blah wedding food. They customized for us, gave us exactly what we wanted and more. I really worked closely with Janie and she was so wonderful to work with, always putting my mind at easy and truly listening to what I wanted and needed. They even orchestrated some special surprise things for my fiancé, including a surprise chicken wing bar collaboration with his favorite local wing place (wild wing cafe) and late night delivery pizza in the cutest of personalized boxes for people to take to go! Everyone loved our wedding food, and our guests RAVED about it. It is going to sound crazy but we had tons of people rave about their coleslaw. My husband, who doesn't even eat coleslaw, raved about it from our tasting. We also had them compose a signature cocktail for us that combined my husband and I's favorite things into one drink and it was DELICIOUS. On top of that, they packed us the cutest to go box of all our wedding food and had it in our getaway car, waiting for us to have when we got back to our suite. Thank you so much Janie and Duvall events for all your hard work and dedication, it truly was an amazing night!

Duvall really knows how to take care of their brides and grooms. We used them for so many important details of our wedding including day of coordination, décor/floral, and catering. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got in each of these areas. Our day of coordinator was so on top of every detail that by the time the wedding day arrived, we literally did not have to worry about a thing. The order of events for the evening from introductions to the sparkler exit flowed seamlessly. The food stations tasted AMAZING and my big Midwestern family could not stop complimenting the shrimp and grits and crab cake sliders. Our décor coordinator took the vision I had in my head (but could barely describe) about the look and feel I wanted to try and create and turned it into a beautiful reality. The flowers were incredible as well and they even created me a little floral accent for my hair that they delivered to the hotel I was getting ready at earlier in the day. Duvall took care of everything which left my husband and I free to completely enjoy ourselves and not have to worry about a thing. Can't thank them enough for that!!

Duvall provided both catering and bar services for us. The minute we sat down for a tasting I knew we chose the right vendor. I briefly did some time in culinary school and am very picky about quality and food presentation. Duvall went above and beyond! The even slightly customized our choices to really fit our theme and make it personal to our wedding- example: they spruced up our shrimp and grits appetizer to add chorizo (our favorite) and even served it in mini mason jars to fit the southern theme of our wedding. Our entrees we just as customized to our liking and guests raved about the food!! My favorite part of everything was the 5 star presentation (I'm not sure if all seated dinners are like this but I loved it!)- they had all of their servers line up to serve each table at one time. So basically unveiling entrees and the same time for each person at the table. Loved that! Duvall also gave us two cake tastings to try and get the cake flavors exactly to our liking- even opening up on a Saturday (when their location is normally closed for events) to work with us. This review may seem like we are high maintenance but that is really not it-- Duvall combined with our wedding planner asked every detail while at the tasting so they could get it just right!!!

We had quite a pleasant experience having Duvall cater my daughter’s wedding reception. From the initial phone call to Alicia through the wedding day, she gave us outstanding customer service and we couldn't have asked for better communication. The food, including appetizers and the meal, was excellent and our guests raved about it during and after the wedding. We also used Duvall for décor and Ashlynn made our vision come to life. My daughter was in awe when she walked into the reception and saw how Ashlynn had worked her magic on the room. The appetizer plate for the groom during photos was a lifesaver, and the bridal basket after the reception was most appreciated. All in all, we were very happy in choosing Duvall!

Both Alicia (catering/ rentals) was amazing to work with! Communication in preparation for the wedding was open, quick, and consistent throughout the entire wedding process! The food was absolutely amazing and the rentals (tables, chairs, linens, silverware, etc.) and bar were exactly what we needed! Alicia worked with me to create a perfect menu for my guests with various options that fit my budget. I began working with Ashlyn midway through the planning process and she had some really awesome ideas for decor and lighting- I still cannot get over how perfect the lace-wrapped arbor and chandelier looked during the ceremony and the reception looked amazing with the setup/ design and lighting!! I highly recommend Duvall- their service and product are both exceptional!!!

I absolutely LOVED working with Ashlyn from Duvall - she did an amazing job with the flowers and decor for my recent wedding. I don't live in Charleston (I'm from Raleigh) and received a recommendation from a friend to work with Duvall and I'm so happy I did. Ashlyn was not only a pleasure to work with, she made the process so easy for me - even from 4 hours away! She knew exactly what look I wanted (nautical) and for the flowers -- I showed her a picture of what I wanted for my bridal bouquet and it was even more beautiful than the sample in the picture. On our wedding day, South Carolina had a 1,000 year flood and was under water, but Ashlyn walked through waist deep water to make it to our wedding -- now that is dedication! I am so thankful and grateful to her for making my wedding so incredibly beautiful with the flowers and decor. I highly recommend Duvall to any and all brides out there!

I cannot say enough incredible things about Duvall Events! We met with the Event Manager, Emma Lesesne, back in March, and also met Hannah Archer who was in charge of decor. From day one they were just awesome to deal with. We tried the food and it was honestly worthy of any top-notch restaurant in Charleston. The entire Duvall team followed up with us routinely and really helped make our wedding outstanding. Zoe Parry (wedding coordinator) was absolutely great and she helped get all of our vendors organized for the big day. Her assistant, Madison, was a huge help too. Duvall also helped with lighting, rentals, tables, outdoor planters, etc. for the ceremony, as well as boutonnieres.

We also had Duvall's new pastry chef, Ginny, make our cake and some bowtie cookies for the big day. We gave her some cake ideas we liked and she surprised us with an exceptional cake, and she spent 7 hours on the cookies (which were a HUGE hit)!

Duvall may be a bit more expensive than some other caterers/event planners in Charleston, but they are worth EVERY PENNY!

Duvall's Amanda McCarthy helped orchestrate our dream wedding this past Saturday (7.11.15) at the Confederate Home and College. From the venue, to my bouquet and her impeccable wedding coordinating, not a single detail was overlooked by Duvall's Amanda and her team. What I appreciated the most about Amanda was that even though it was a destination wedding, when we first met in person a few days prior to the ceremony, it felt as if we had been friends for years. With her top-notch attentiveness and spot-on intuition, she understood immediately the elegant, understated celebration we hoped to paint for our guests. I also highly recommend the beautiful Confederate Home and College for any serene outdoor wedding. While we'll always remember the Charleston humidity of our wedding day, we will equally remember Amanda's cool, calm demeanor which allowed everyone to stay relaxed and enjoy the celebration. I was the mother of the bride for a destination wedding at Sullivan's Island with the reception in Mt. PLeasant, SC. Duvall Catering handled florals at the church, and florals, decor and food at the reception. Our guests raved about the food, and we we so happy with the florals and decor. Duvall's Hannah Archer headed up decor for the dinner. (This dynamic duo then did the wedding and reception on Saturday, too.) My husband and I have been inundated with comments about how incredible everything was -- from the food to the flowers to bar service. Duvall's attention to detail impressed even the admittedly intense and obsessive planner in me! I cannot find fault with a single element of their performance. Highly recommended!

I really can't say enough good things about our experience with the entire Duvall team at the wedding on Saturday. Everything was perfect. The room flip went off without a hitch (ceremony space to reception space), the food was absolutely wonderful (everyone seemed to agree that the food was the highlight of the evening), the drinks were great, and the staff was all excellent. Isabelle Donovan was our event coordinator. She was absolutely wonderful start to finish. She was attentive, prompt with returning emails and phone calls, and also helpful in keeping our stress level down!! Thanks so much for helping us pull off a fantastic wedding in 12 weeks! :)

With DuVall everything was done to perfection! EVERYTHING!!!
The food was delicious. We had so many compliments from our guests. I have been to many wedding receptions and have never had food this good. The presentation was exactly as we wanted. The wait and bar staff were great. They were as good at the end of the night as they were in the beginning. Always professional, smiling and tending the needs/requests of the guests.

Duvall helped make our daughters' wedding perfect.

Duvall exceeded every expectation we had by leaps and bounds. They were so accommodating during the planning process and made me feel as though we were the only wedding they had. The day of blew us away. The decor, flowers and food/bar were perfect. The guests have raved about everything. Thanks for making our day so special!
