I Can’t Believe How Perfectly They Captured Everything About Our Special Day

We used Dustin and his wife Nicole as the two photographers for our wedding day and could not have made a better decision. They were so incredibly easy to work with from the very start. I live in Houston, so I had to rely on online sources to find a photographer. I came across Dustin and set up a time to talk with him over the phone. He was very professional, flexible, and responsive. In our early conversations I could tell that he was going to be a good fit since he said he really enjoyed taking candid shots over posed photos. I wanted someone who could capture all of the special moments from the day, and not just take nice portraits (although he did a great job at that too). Dustin and Nicole did a phenomenal job of directing all of our wedding party and family members to be where they needed to be and when to keep our photos on schedule. They were creative in finding fun shots for us to take and everything felt very natural. I didn’t even notice them during the ceremony and reception. So much so, that I was actually a little worried the next day because I wasn’t sure what kind of photos we would get since I never saw them really taking them. Dustin turned around the photos in a matter of days after our wedding and I was absolutely shocked to see that he and Nicole had been everywhere that day and night! They were like flies on a wall, blending into the crowd, and capturing so many beautiful and natural moments. I especially couldn’t believe all of the fun shots they got during the reception of everyone dancing! All of the photos were flattering (not awkward) and you could just feel the energy coming through in all of the pictures. I cannot stop looking through the photos since they really have let me relive the most perfect day of my life over and over again. I would absolutely recommend Dustin and Nicole to anyone looking for a professional, creative, and easy to work with photographer.

Dustin was incredibly responsive via phone/email and took the time to answer all our questions/talk through the ceremony/photos/details. He was very personable and fun to have him around on our wedding day. He did an amazing job capturing our colorful, unique wedding. He gave direction when asked, but was always great about stepping back and capturing candids. Many times, I didn't even notice them there taking photos. Best of all, loved how the photos came out! I'd definitely recommend him. He was flexible with us - we don't live in Austin, so didn't opt for an engagement shoot and he extended our wedding day coverage.

We got the photos back so quickly! We were thrilled that we could share with friends and family and relive the moments with them so soon :)

Dustin was absolutely amazing, extremely responsive and made the decision to choose him as our photographer extremely easy. Him and his lovely wife made our wedding wonderful. Photography was a huge stress for us because we wanted every moment of our special day captured, and every single one was. We have gone through the photos so many times because we are able to relive the best day of our lives up to this point. I would recommend Dustin for anyones wedding. He helped make our wedding great! I would not have changed one thing.

FABULOUS photography team!

I worked with Edmond Lorts during my wedding and he was absolutely phenomenal during the planning process and on our wedding day. He showed up early, ready to go, and took photos above and beyond my expectations. He also was wonderful with our flower girls, and especially patient with my 3-year old niece. Our guests all loved him and he helped to keep us on our timeline as well. And to top everything off, we got all of our photos back in less than a week! I honestly don't think you could ask for anything more in a wedding photographer and I would recommend Edmond a million times over.

Dustin Finkelstein was the best wedding photographer any couple could imagine. He was professional and highly responsive to all of my wishes. Plus, he shot gorgeous photographs and I never felt like I was being followed around. Every picture, there were over 800, captured an intimate moment for our special day.

Dustin is so nice, professional, easy to work with, & a great photographer! Finding our wedding photographer was the hardest vendor to nail down for us. Luckily I came across Dustin's website & he drove about 30-45 minutes in Austin rush hour to meet us for a consultation. He immediately put me at ease about finding the right photographer. We opted out of having an engagement or bridal shoot with him, so we didn't get a chance to build a relationship with him at all before the wedding, but it didn't seem to matter. He is very easy-going, which helped my nerves settle on the big day & we just felt totally comfortable working with him. We got our pictures back so quickly too & I was blown away by how beautiful they had turned out!! Beyond all of my expectations! Dustin is the best! Book him, you'll be so happy you did.

We can't say enough great things about Dustin and his work! On top of being extremely professional and responsive, Dustin was so easy to work with and always made us feel at ease during our sessions. He is such an amazing photographer and every time we sat down to pick photos for our albums (including Christmas, Family, Engagement, Bridals, Boudoir, and Wedding!), we always had SO many favorites that we always had to order extra pages to fit them all the one album. Dustin's eye and talent is incredible. We couldn't be happier that we chose his as our photographer!

Dustin is awesome!!

Dustin was incredible to work with!! We had a friend take our engagement photos, so we hadn't shot with Dustin until our wedding day, yet he made us feel comfortable immediately. He and his wife are both extremely talented, and even our detail shots look so cool and artsy. Dustin was patient when we got a little off schedule, and he was so fun the whole night!
Our photos look amazing, and get this....he got them to us within ONE week!!! WOW! We were not anticipating that at all and were so excited to relive our big day through his camera's eyes!
Dustin is affordable yet HIGH quality!
I'm adding some of our couple shots, but our family shots look AMAZING, and he captured so many fun reception moments too!

Dustin was an amazing photographer for our engagement shoot and our wedding. We are new to photography so he was a great guide and asked all the right questions to make sure we truly got we wanted. He took beautiful ceremony shots that I will cherish and at the reception and seemed to always be exactly where the action was. I couldn't be happier with the photos we have and the memories he has helped us preserve forever. Choosing Dustin as my photographer took away any stress about photos I might have had and as a bonus he is also very sweet and easy to work with.

We had Marissa Licarione do our engagement photos and wedding/reception and she was so much fun to work with! She made it so easy and gave us great direction for some really fun photos. Then she even got the wedding photos back to us earlier than expected which was great because we realized neither my husband and I or close family had gotten any pictures of us so it was so great to see how awesome they had turned out! Dustin was great with all the contracts being online along with everything else so it was easy to review and go back over and order our photo albums. Great people, great skills, great service, etc...You can't wrong with Dustin Finkelstein Photography!

When I started looking at photographers for my wedding, I narrowed it down to 2. I contacted both asking for prices - one was over $12,000 and Dustin was considerably less. His portfolio seemed just as good, if not better, so I went with him. He did an INCREDIBLE job! He was so easy to work with and customized everything to fit our wishes. He even threw in a free family photo session (having nothing to do with the wedding). Countless people who have seen our pictures have told us how talented he is and how great all of the photos turned out. He is very artistic and his background in photojournalism really makes the difference. He is able to capture moments perfectly. I cannot say enough about how happy we are with his work. We will definitely be using him for all of our photo needs and I promise you won't be disappointed if you choose him as your photographer.

We are so extremely lucky to have chosen Dustin as our photographer for both our engagement session and our wedding. He has a great eye for beautiful photos, and was so easy to work with. In addition to getting gorgeous photos at a really reasonable price, Dustin’s turnaround for getting the photos back to you is very quick. We had our fully edited wedding photos back to us in less than a week! His assistant Edmond was there for our wedding day as well, and was also so easy to work with and took beautiful photos.

We also purchased the photobooth from Dustin which was self manned and our guests could print as many photos as they wanted. He provided a choice in backdrop and props, but we also supplemented with some of our own.

Overall, I wouldn’t have changed a thing, and would highly recommend Dustin and his team.

Dustin was the perfect choice for a photographer. He was so responsive from the beginning and he is so quick getting photos back to you. He did our engagements and my bridals as well, and he made us both feel so comfortable the entire time and was very easy to work with. I couldn't be more happy with my wedding & engagement photos. Dustin and his wife made such a great team and were so fun to work with. The customer service was outstanding, the response time was practically immediate. He was always there to answer my questions and work with my busy schedule. It only took him about 3 days to have our engagement and wedding photos ready. I was very specific about my style and the kind of look I wanted for the photos, and Dustin was easily able to achieve this. I highly recommend him!

As we were looking through photographers for our wedding, Dustin's photographs caught our eye because he was able to catch the candid, little moments that are so easy to miss, and that was exactly what we wanted. Dustin and Edmond photographed our wedding, and the pictures came out beautiful! Dustin allowed us to just be ourselves, and our photos together are full of smiles. We didn't want too many poses and wanted our photos to be more natural. We also had a lot of extended family come in, and each family wanted a picture with us. Dustin was very patient and very flexible, allowing us to take pictures with all of our extended family as well as a lot of fun group photos. We would highly recommend!

Dustin was fantastic! Our photos were beautiful - we have received so many compliments on them, and I know we'll cherish them for years. He was incredibly easy to work with, and we really loved the shots he got of us our family, and all of our guests. Each photo captures the spirit of the wedding. Most importantly for us, he captured truly wonderful photos of our two dogs who were part of the ceremony - it's no small feat getting them to sit still and look at a camera. They turned out beautifully, and we got them all back in less than a week! We were so impressed - I'd recommend him to anyone.

We are so glad to have had Dustin as our wedding photographer. He also shot our engagement photos and my bridals. You can tell that he is passionate in what he does. From the very beginning, he made us feel very comfortable, and during all of the shoots, we were laughing and having a good time rather than posing for staged photos. The best thing about booking with Dustin is that you will get your photos back extremely quick. Our engagement photos and bridals were ready after just two days, and we got our 700-800 wedding photos back after just four days. He is very flexible with any personal requests, and we actually booked him for our DFW wedding (the travel fee was VERY reasonable). Our friends and family can't stop raving about how amazing the photos are!

My wife and I had a mixed cultural wedding (Hindu and Western) and we were extremely impressed not only by Dustin’s professionalism but also his flexibility and understanding nature throughout the entire process. Despite his busy schedule throughout the months leading up to our big day, he was prompt in responding to our scheduling requests for the engagement and bridal shoots. We were able to complete both in amazing weather and lighting thanks to his cooperation.
When it came to the wedding day, Dustin and his wife covered the event. Since the ceremony followed mainly Hindu tradition, we had to communicate about the important aspects of the day that needed to be captured. Dustin’s very efficient questionnaire helped us create the perfect concept for the day. During the wedding, both he and his wife were very understanding of our photography needs and remained patient at even the most stressful moments and made us feel at ease. Because of this, he was able to capture stunning, emotionally vivid and perfectly representative images of our special day. Dustin is a very personable, professional and understanding photographer, and this comes across in the quality and sincerity of his work. We highly recommend him and his company!

Dustin did an AMAZING job with both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. They’re all so incredible and our friends and family agree. I can’t wait to print all of them to enjoy and give them as gifts for our friends and family. Dustin was easy to work with, organized, and responsive! He made us feel comfortable and got us laughing when posing felt a little awkward. We appreciated every moment of working with him and the energy he brought to our wedding. Being new to the Austin area, I didn't know of any local photographers and searched all over the place until I stumbled upon Dustin's website. My fiancé and I loved his work and decided to go with our instincts and book him... BEST DECISION EVER! We just finished our engagement session and love every photograph! Not only are the pictures amazing, but Dustin got all of them to us within a couple weeks after our session.(Not to mention a few of the best pictures already edited and on his blog by the time we got home that day!) Dustin's skill, laid-back demeanor, and professionalism made our experience a breeze. I never imagined so many great pictures could come from just an hour-long shoot. Dustin shot my bridals and our engagement pictures, and Dustin and Nicole shot our wedding. Both were friendly, professional, and we felt at ease during our shoots. The pictures came back quickly, and were BEAUTIFUL. Everyone has been talking about how lovely they are. Plus, Dustin was really easy to work with - I had to reschedule my bridals due to a family emergency and Dustin was very accommodating.

There were a few hiccups: my brother not getting in the pics with the groomsmen due to a miscommunication (since he was also doing the officiating), we didn't get a first look (my fault though - I should have been more clear on that) and we ended up staging the exit early since a good amount of guests were leaving, so Dustin and Nicole left after that but the party continued. I am a little sad about that, since some good stuff happened then - like the hora! But overall, I'm happy with how everything went and I couldn't be more pleased with the pictures. Thank you Dustin and Nicole!! :)

Dustin & Nicole shot our wedding in Wimberley, TX and I'm so pleased with the pictures and the experience overall. Our wedding date, 5/30/15, was a wild ride complete with rain (Lots of it!) and flooding roads preventing many of our guests from making it to our event. We basically threw our schedule out the window (had to move our ceremony to a different spot at our venue because of flooding, etc) and Dustin & Nicole went with the flow and did a superb job of "winging it" with us! In the midst of all the craziness of the day, they did a beautiful job of capturing each moment and photographing all the details that we are able to share with our guests that never made it to our wedding. This is priceless to me and I will treasure these photographs more than they know! There are so many great photographers in the Austin area, really, but how do they handle an emergency situation? This is something most couples probably don't think about when selecting their wedding day photographer. I can personally attest that not only are Dustin & Nicole superb at their craft, but they also know how to make the best of a chaotic situation without getting rattled and on top of that they are such a sweet and fun couple, a joy to work with!

I can’t speak highly enough of Dustin! Dustin was very flexible on customizing our package to allow us to receive what we wanted, at the price that we wanted which was greatly appreciated. Dustin always promptly answered emails and helped with our wedding photo timeline, which was extremely helpful. On the day of our wedding, Dustin and his wife went above and beyond throughout the whole day. We loved Dustin’s photography style, which is not over-edited, but rather crisp and clean photos. He got many candid pictures that make us smile to look back on and remember how happy we were. Lastly, the week after our wedding we were so excited to see a couple of photos and it was such a wonderful surprise when Dustin already had our entire wedding photo gallery ready. We greatly appreciate Dustin’s and his wife’s hard work before, during, and after our wedding. We can’t recommend Dustin’s photography enough! I don't even know where to start. Dustin is fantastic! He shot our wedding on 10/28/17. From start to finish Dustin was easy to communicate with and prompt. We got our online album in 5 days! He did a wonderful job at the ceremony, moving seamlessly through the guests and never being "in your face" or in the way. He listened to exactly what I wanted and boy, did he deliver. My photographer was one of the best things about my wedding! Dustin and his wife were so patient and nice and they took beautiful pictures. His package pricing is very reasonable, and he is flexible in negotiating certain elements into/out of the contract. Dustin photographed my brother in laws wedding a few years back, and when we got engaged it was an absolute no brainer that he would be our photographer. We already knew the quality of his work was like no one else, but having him as a part of our special day, made us love him even more. There is not a more artistic, fun to work with photographer out there. You will absolute regret passing him up.

Fun photo experience and great value

We absolutely loved our experience with Dustin and Nicole. They made our photo experience easy and we're so happy with the results. Additionally, we loved how easy it was to add a photobooth and the DJ they work with, Bat City Beats, was amazing. We highly recommend Dustin!

Dustin is the best! His talent is apparent in each and every picture and he is extremely easy to work with. If I could give Dustin 10 stars on flexibility I would because he went above and beyond! First he was willing to work with us to break up his fee into smaller payments which was EXTREMELY helpful since we were paying for the wedding ourselves. Then when weather threatened my bridal portraits and I needed to change venues the day I was supposed to be taking pictures he rolled with it no problem. However, what I love most about Dustin's work his how he captured real moments of our wedding (though of course the formal portraits are also amazing). Dustin was great to work with and the moments he captured are priceless, I would recommend him to everyone I know.

Dustin is INCREDIBLE. I truly cannot say enough about how amazing a photographer he is. We worked with him on the package to get exactly what we wanted. He's also incredibly fast - we had our engagement photos back within days, and our wedding album back within a week of the wedding. I've never heard of another photographer who has such a fast return of photos! Especially to have so many treasured shots that we adore. We are extremely happy with the photos we have from both our engagement and our wedding. We have many photos that we didn't expect to get - like me hugging my grandmother, or dancing with my flower girl. The reception photos and photo booth photos were incredible quality - some of these are my favorite of the day! He also does an amazing job at the formal photos - but I would say his best strength is the more candid shots, and the artistic shots. We have a BEAUTIFUL shot from our ceremony that looks like it was in an ad in a wedding magazine. The one thing I wanted to splurge on for this wedding was my photographer and I am so glad I did. Dustin and Nicole are worth every penny - I have memories that I never thought I would have from my big day and I'm so thankful to Dustin and Nicole for capturing the little moments along with the formal shots. I also recommend their photobooth. Not only do you get as many prints day of that you want, but you get full size shots in an online gallery that you can share. These are amazing quality, and honestly some of my favorite shots of the day! Most photo booths give you just copies of the 4-shot photo strip. Dustin gives you the full size, full quality photo that you can print and share, of each shot!! I highly recommend Dustin and Nicole - fast, efficient, extremely good quality photos, and so nice to deal with. I've had a few questions before and after the big day, and Dustin is responsive both by text, e-mail and phone. He should be the #1 choice for photographers in Austin!

I had Edmond Lorts as a photographer through Dustin Finkelstein and he was EVERYTHING I wanted in a photographer. He was our photographer for our engagement pictures, bridal, and wedding day. He was extremely easy to work with and never pushy!! He was VERY laid back and did any shots that I asked for. He was fun to work with and I felt so comfortable around him. Pictures were one of the most important things for me and if I had to do it all over again, I would pick them 1,000 times!! I seriously cannot say enough about him to put in prospective how truly talented and wonderful he is as a photographer! I would recommend him to ANYONE!!! I am so so so happy with the pictures!!

Dustin did our engagement, photo booth, and wedding photos and everything was incredible. I even got my videography through him as well. He was very responsive, professional, and really easy and fun to work with. He came all the way out to our property in Bulverde to do our engagement photos and was the first vendor on site for the wedding day, helping to put my mind at ease. The pictures were beautiful and came back to us within days after the wedding. We keep getting so many comments on how well done they are and I am so pleased with choosing Dustin to help us on our big day! Thanks for everything.

Dustin was an amazing photographer for our wedding and we're super pleased with his work! He captured all the highlights of the wedding without being noticeable. He got all of our wedding pictures to us within the next week of the wedding, before we even got back from our honeymoon. We are super satisfied with all the hilarious shots he got of all our guests! He also captured my bridals and did an amazing job with those as well. We would definitely recommend him!

Dustin is amazing! When we selected Dustin for our wedding, we were torn between two choices. We went with Dustin, since our wedding and reception were both indoors in the evening and he had some great night time shots in his portfolio.

Dustin arrived and shot beautiful pictures of me getting ready, and lots of little details like my dress, my shoes, my bouquet and more. Due to restrictions at the church, he had to be far away from the Altar and upstairs. Despite the distance, he captured us beautifully as we walked in, and during the ceremony.

We shot some wonderful pictures at the Capitol and around town, and then headed to the reception. At the reception he captured all of the key moments and the photo's look incredible.

Being plus sized and pale, I'm not the most photogenic person in the world, In addition to my insecurities, I was soo sick on my wedding day. Thanks to Dustin's talent I look beautiful in every picture.

In addition to amazing photography, Dustin was very communicative during the planning process, unobtrusive during the ceremony, and faster than promised with delivery of the photos. Thank you Dustin!

We used Dustin for our May 26, 2017 wedding. Out of all of the photographers we interviewed, he was the only one who asked questions about us and seemed genuinely interested in us. I was always nervous before a photo session (we did an engagement session and bridal session with Dustin as well), but he always made us feel comfortable. Dustin is also very organized--he has you fill out questionnaires and allows unlimited consultations, so for a Type A personality like me, I really liked his organization. He is very responsive to emails and quick to get photos back to you. His prices are reasonable, and he offers several different packages to choose from. Dustin has a great eye and got some unique shots on our wedding day. We just love our photos! It was a pleasure having him and his wife Nicole capturing our big day!

We could NOT recommend Edmond enough! He was so wonderful! Halfway through my wedding planning, I was transferred to Minnesota, and I was a little nervous on how that would go since I was unable to meet any of my vendors in person. All other "consults" were quick phone calls, and I thought it would be the same for the photography-Edmond spent over an hour talking with me about what I wanted captured on our special day. Our wedding rolled around, and it was raining...all day...didn't let up once! They say it's good luck, and I guess they are right, because we completely lucked out with Edmond and his team. They were so flexible and still managed to find some awesome locations for our shoots. Since I was in Minnesota, I was unable to do a bridal shoot, so Edmond added some time to do that for me the day of, and they came out perfect. All of our pictures came out perfectly and the most common response we are getting from our friends and family is: "The love was captured so perfectly" Which is exactly what I wanted. I wanted people to feel the fun, support, and love that was all around us on our day. We hardly ever even noticed where he was, but he seemed to get every shot from every angle. It was icing on our wedding cake that we got them back within 10 days! I was having major wedding withdrawals and they came at the perfect time to reminisce! Thank you so much Edmond and team for such wonderful photos, such amazing professionalism, and for capturing our day so perfectly!

Dustin shot my wedding May 2014. He and his wife did an amazing job. I did not even realize they were present during the ceremony and reception but tons of great pictures were captured. With my package, he also did engagement and bridal sessions. These also came out very well. Also, he returns the edited pictures very quickly (I received mine within 1 week).

He also responds to emails and phone calls very quickly (wish I could say this for all my vendors) which is probably the most important thing a vendor can do.

Would definitely recommend and would use again if I ever need a professional photographer.

Absolutely recommend Dustin and his team!

We loved working with Dustin throughout our wedding planning process! He was so thorough, helped us make a custom package for photography and videography so we would get the best deal without missing any of our events. It was a 3 day Indian wedding and Dustin and his team (Nicole and Joe) were there on time for each event, thoroughly professional and seasoned in their craft!
They understood the importance of our Indian rituals and have captured it beautifully during all 3 events in the photos.
We loved how prompt Dustin was in responding to us and being there for us when we had questions during the planning phase.
We cherish the photos he gave us which was uploaded within a few days of the wedding!

Dustin Finkelstein is an amazing photographer and absolutely wonderful to work with over a long period of time. I say this because when choosing a wedding photographer, you have to think about the fact that this person will be involved with you and your fiancé from engagement shoot to bridals to the big day. And there is no other photographer I would have rather been conversing with for 9 months. Dustin is timely in his email and phone responses whether your wedding is 9 months or 2 days away! During each and every one of our shoots, Dustin was able to make us feel comfortable enough to have a really good time, which delivered unbelievably natural and stunning photos. Even when I explained (somewhat terribly) that I was looking for a "vintage" feel in my photos, Dustin knew exactly what I was talking about and delivered 100%, exactly what I was looking for. And, even when we had a tiny snafu with my bridal portrait, Dustin had it fixed within the hour and had a new one ordered and on the way, at no cost to us. Then, for the day of the wedding, we had the awesome married photographer team! Nicole and Dustin worked so well together on the big day. They both remained extremely calm and collected (which is so very important for the wedding photographer) and worked seamlessly together using multiple cameras. We even added the vintage camera option and we are so happy that we did because they were able to give us a few beautiful polaroids the NIGHT OF, that we now keep in our wedding day keepsake box. From start to finish, Dustin and Nicole were positively amazing and I would recommend them to any bride that is looking for timeless photos that you will be proud to show your grandchildren one day. :D

Dustin photographed our engagement and wedding photos, and we couldn't be any happier with how they came out! He made everything feel completely natural and the shots he took were gorgeous. He scouted out areas ahead of time for our venue and came prepared with great ideas. He got all the shots we requested and did so in a timely manner, so that way we could really enjoy the day! He captured all the details of the day as well as those candid moments. Within a week of our wedding we received our photos back fully edited on a personalized flash drive that contained all our photos, as well as access to an online gallery. Dustin is very responsive and so pleasant to work with! I will definitely use and recommend his photography services in the future!

Dustin was the photographer for our wedding on September 6. All of our photos were outstanding! His wife came as a second photographer, and it was really great to get two angles of everything. His style was exactly what we were looking for. I was really surprised about the number of things that I didn't even get to see on that day, that Dustin managed to capture. Dustin was very professional, and he was an easy and friendly person to work with. We had to plan our wedding while living out-of-state, so we did not have a chance to do a practice shoot or engagement session with Dustin. But, that was not a problem at all! He responded to e-mails and phone calls quickly, and he made sure to get all the planned shots that we wanted. He also had plenty of creative on-the-spot photo ideas, including a suggestion that we get photos in front of the nearby Austin Capitol building. Those turned out to be my favorite shots! The photos turned out wonderfully, and I would definitely recommend Dustin Finkelstein Photography!

Wow. Dustin was wonderful from the first contact up through the last photo of our wedding. First, he worked with us on a package that fit with us and our budget. This was huge, since we didn't have a large, typical wedding budget to work with. Every other photographer we encountered was not flexible on their "wedding packages," but not Dustin, didn't never said, this is my flat fee, instead he took into account our wedding number, location, hours we were interested in, number of photos we wanted, and our budget. He was even flexible with the hours, before he left our wedding he made sure we felt that he took all the photos we wanted (which he did!) so nothing was left out. Then there were the photos, which looked amazing! Thank you Dustin for capturing our celebration with just as much life, beauty, and love that we felt that day, it translated into your photos. Thank you!

Dustin shot my engagements, bridals, rehearsal dinner, wedding and after party and did a great job! He was so easy to work with and very flexible. His wife shoots with him on wedding days and she was great too. I always got the pictures back quickly. I had a pretty rambunctious wedding party not to mention there was 11 groomsmen and 12 bridesmaids. Ridiculous I know. He was very patient and never got overwhelmed. The weekend of our wedding was very cold and raining and the venue was entirely outside. He was able to still capture lots of great pictures even with all the bad weather. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family for any photography needs. Thank you so much Dustin!!!

Hire Dustin! He and his team were so amazing at my wedding this weekend. Anytime I needed him, he was there. Came prepared with vision and ideas, which was so helpful since my mind was totally frazzled! He and his 2nd photographer were everywhere throughout the night, never missing a moment. A guest even told me he saw one of them climbing trees and other acrobatic moves just to get perfect shots. I can't wait to see the final results!

Don't regret not having better pictures

Worth every penny! Navigating our budget and figuring out what to prioritize was one of the harder parts of planning our wedding. Being on the other side of the wedding, all I can say is make sure you love your photographer, the photos will last a lifetime. And without a doubt we loved Edmond! From the first meeting we felt so comfortable with him, and his calm energy on the wedding day was greatly appreciated. We received our full gallery less than 2 weeks from the wedding date and are obsessed with the pictures!!! I shopped around a lot, and found Dustin's company to be extremely reasonably priced and they followed through with every promise and then some. If they're on your radar and available on your date, BOOK THEM!

Dustin came to our rescue after our other wedding photographer had to cancel due to surgery (luckily, she's recovering well now!). On top of being friendly, professional, and down-to-earth, with absolutely affordable prices for Austin... his work is excellent. I really couldn't ask for anything mo--- oh wait! Did I mention how quickly the turn around time was? We got married on Saturday, and it's now Thursday. ALL of our photos are back! 10/10 would book again. This guy rocks.

I hired Dustin to do my engagement photos, bridal portraits, and wedding photos. He was amazing to work with from the very beginning, but after I got my engagement photos back, and saw what an awesome job he had done, I could not wait for the wedding! And he did not disappoint! All of my photos are just so timeless, taken at great angles, and really capture the essence of the wedding. AND he gets them back to you so quickly!! Amazing experience!

My husband and I had the BEST experience with Dustin Finkelstein Photography! Dustin really took the time to understand what we were looking for, and we couldn't be happier with how our wedding photos turned out! We were surprised and delighted to see a number of beautifully shot photos (both posed and candid) of our guests, taken at different points throughout the day. Dustin and his wife Nicole (our second photographer) were not only very professional and efficient but also warm spirited and just lovely to be around. They make a great team and really know their craft - and it shows in the photos! Dustin was incredibly responsive via phone/email and took the time to answer all our questions/talk through the ceremony/photos/details. He was very personable and fun to have him around on our wedding day. He did an amazing job capturing our colorful, unique wedding. He gave direction when asked, but was always great about stepping back and capturing candids. Many times, I didn't even notice them there taking photos. Best of all, loved how the photos came out! I'd definitely recommend him. He was flexible with us - we don't live in Austin, so didn't opt for an engagement shoot and he extended our wedding day coverage.

We got the photos back so quickly! We were thrilled that we could share with friends and family and relive the moments with them so soon :)

After meeting with several photographers (some who flaked out, some who just weren't able to meet our needs) our officiant recommended Dustin Finkelstein Photography. We worked with Edmond Lorts, who works with Dustin. They were more then willing to work with us to create a package for our small, intimate wedding at Chapel Dulcinea and part of our reception at Trattoria Lisina. Edmond met with us and went over all of our needs, gave us some guidance on what types of pictures would be good, showed up on time, prepared, and handled us and our family in a way that allowed us to get beautiful pictures without taking too much time awaty from the fun. But most importantly- our pictures were absolutely beautiful. We have had so many wonderful comments from friends and family about our pictures- and it's not just because we all looked great or our venue was beautiful (as was the weather!)- it's also because Edmond took beautiful photos. I would recommend both Dustin Finkelstein photography and Edmond Lorts to any other couple.

Dustin was such an amazing photographer throughout our entire wedding process. We cancelled our engagements because of the rains and he was nice enough to drive all the way to Houston so we could shoot in our hometown instead. He's a really laid back guy who has an eye for good shots. Also, his turn around time is insane. He had our engagements to us the following day and he had our wedding pictures to us a week after - both with amazing quality. For our wedding, the pictures he captured were gorgeous. I especially loved the spots he picked for my husband and I's pictures alone - they're stunning. Also we didn't really notice him and his assistant once the wedding got going. They were very stealthy and got some great shots without being noticed very much. Dustin was hands down one of the best vendor choices we made - I HIGHLY recommend him. =)

Dustin and his wife Nicole were a true pleasure to work with. We organized our wedding from a different state and Dustin couldn't have been more accommodating in helping to stay in touch via video conference and regular phone conversations. Our wedding day itself was an all-day event spent going back and forth between two venues and juggling large groups of families and friends. Dustin and Nicole handled everything with great aplomb and humor. They got the photos back to us within a week of the wedding, a true surprise considering the quality and quantity of the photos they took. I strongly recommend them to help make your special day even more memorable.

Dustin and Edmond photographed our wedding on November 1st. From the time that we contacted Dustin about his availability to the time that we got our pictures back from him (only 4 days after our wedding!), he was a pleasure to work with. I am confident that you can't find better quality for this price anywhere in Austin. Dustin was quick to respond to all of my emails, him and Edmond were incredibly patient with us on our wedding day, and the pictures are PERFECT. I highly recommend considering him for your wedding photos - you won't be disappointed.

Best Photographers Ever!

Dustin Finkelstein Photography did an amazing job with our wedding and engagement photos. He and his wife were easy to contact, quick to respond, kind, and thorough. They made sure to capture all the perfect moments, angles, and came up with some creative ideas for our photo shoots. They were also extremely professional, fun to be around, and the turn around time for the photos was so quick! I would 100% recommend booking with them - and their pricing is so reasonable! We plan to have more photo shoots with them in the future.

Dustin is fabulous! Although I felt uncomfortable being in front of the camera, he found many fabulous shots during our engagement session. He is very responsive, comes prepared with ideas for shoots due to his experience in the industry, and works with tight schedules! We got our photos back fully edited in such a short amount of time and I am
still recieving compliments on his work! I am so excited to have my Bridal and wedding portraits done with him.

This couple knows what they are doing! The Photos are so well composed and the photoshop edits look even more beautiful. They really try to capture the important moments of the special day! My husband and I both have very unique moments that we can cherish. Dustin really walks us through the poses as well, this is extra helpful especially if you don't quite know how. Highly recommend them! We are excitedly waiting for our lovely photo album at the moment.

We hired Dustin for our engagement photos and our wedding day. He did a fantastic job and was so easy to work with. He came up with beautiful shots for our engagement and great shots for our first look before the wedding. He did an awesome job capturing all the details and action shots as well. I didn't even notice him at the wedding, but after seeing the photos, he was obviously in every moment.

I was a very hands on bride and wanted to meet with him before the engagement session and before the wedding at the venue. He was completely willing and those sessions were really helpful in making me feel more confident.

Compared to other photographers in the area, I think Dustin was a great value. Photography wasn't something I was too focused on in the planning process and really wanted a good deal. I not only got that, but phenomenal pictures as well! After seeing Dustin's awesome pictures, I appreciate the the power of good photography in capturing the day forever!

Dustin did the photography for my cousin and when I saw the photos I was sold! We hired Dustin for our our engagement and wedding photos and they all turned out INCREDIBLE! He made everything feel completely natural and the shots he took were gorgeous. I still have people commenting on my wedding photos saying it looks like a fairytale or something from Disney. He was able to completely capture our love and the whole vibe of our wedding. I will always be able to look back on this day and these photos and remember the feelings felt and moments shared.

He is worth every penny and I can't recommend him and his team enough!

Dustin was very professional. The price was great and we got our wedding photos back very quickly! He created some pretty amazing images of us, I would highly recommend him! I didn't worry one bit about photos he had them covered, can't wait to put our photo album together!

What can I say? Dustin is amazing. We first came across Dustin's portfolio because we were looking for a photographer who would do a fantasy-themed engagement shoot with us. Turns out, that's not an easy thing to find, but Dustin was all about it! We were sold. Not only were our engagement shots perfectly and uniquely us, he exceeded our wedding day expectations by 200%. We just got our wedding album back today (a WEEK turnaround for the record. Amazing.) and the photos are stunning. People keep commenting "Everyone looks so happy!" or "This photo made me cry!" They look this way because Dustin is a genius at capturing the emotion of all of the important moments. We even had a small hiccup where the brother of the groom did a wedding no-no and brought his own fancy camera to the event. While this is not ideal in the slightest, Dustin was perfectly professional, was able to navigate around him, and there wasn't a single photo with our surprise "second photographer" in the shot. Now that's something only a real pro can pull off. :) Thanks Dustin for perfectly capturing the most important day of our lives.

Dustin did a wonderful job for our wedding, bridal portraits, and engagement session. He does a fantastic job of capturing details and also at achieving excellent candid photos during the event. I was also extremely pleased with his ease of communication, payment, and also with his rapid return time on photos. He gave us photos to remember the memories we treasure forever.

Absolutely yes, yes, yes. Dustin is hands down the best photographer we could've asked for for engagement and wedding pictures. We paid for the wedding ourselves, and he is absolutely worth every penny (but still extremely reasonable!).
He traveled to Waco for an engagement shoot, and the pictures were amazing. He captured our hometown in the best way possible - and even arrived early to drive around and scout good picture sites. He is so fun to work with!

Leading up to the wedding, I would surf through other photographer's work at our venue, just to get some ideas.
Dustin and Nicole's work FAR surpassed the other photographer's work at the same venue - he has the best shots of the venue that I've seen! The grounds aren't that expansive, but he made the pictures look like we were in the middle of nowhere. Absolutely phenomenal craftsmanship!
I would highly recommend Dustin and his colleagues. He captured the spirit, the friendships, and our loved ones at our wedding so well, and I am so thankful that we found him!
Communication, professionalism, style, flexibility, and price are all great. Stop searching, and reach out to him!

Our wedding was July 20th, 2013 and we picked Dustin Finkelstein for all our engagement and wedding photos. We had taken engagement photos with him earlier and were very impressed with his quality, so we were very excited to have him photograph our wedding. We received the photos from the engagement and wedding in a very timely manner (about a week.) We are so happy with our photos and the professionalism of both photographers (Dustin and his partner.) We have never had professional photos before, and Dustin really blew us away. I would recommend him for all special occasions! He captured our day in a fun and creative way. We had over 350 people at our wedding and he seemed to be everywhere taking pictures, but did not get in the way of the celebration at all. Thank you again Dustin!

Katie and I had the pleasure of Dustin photographing our wedding in Zilker botanical gardens in September this year. He arrived early on the day, just what an edgy groom needs, and with the utmost professionalism wasted not a moment getting on with taking shots. He was pleasant and enthusiastic.
Only a few days after the wedding came the joy of seeing his photos. We were truly ecstatic with the pin sharp quality, the lighting, the colour, and his eye for detail; capturing all the formality, the informality, and everything in between. Katie and I highly recommend Dustin to any couple looking to have their special day captured, and were so happy ourselves that we plan to utilise his services for a subsequent ceremony next year.

Dustin was great! Though I had a severe case of wedding brain, Dustin and his wife were superrrrr flexible and accommodating to my millions of last minute details and requests. My husband and I had lots of fun working with them! And the pictures look absolutely gorgeous!!! Highly recommended :)
