What a gorgeous venue. The restored 19th century farmhouse and barn were the perfect setting for our wedding, and it turned out even more beautiful than I’d hoped. Our guests all commented on how gorgeous and magical the barn and setting all felt, and Angela went out of her way to make our day incredible. The barn overlooks a wood fence and pond down the hill, and it was the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. I could not have been happier and would recommend this venue to anyone!! -

I booked Due Sorelle for my wedding and it was an amazing experience. What I loved about Due Sorelle was not only how beautiful the venue was but how there were so many different spots around the land to host the ceremony. Hurricane Helene was passing the area in the days leading up to the wedding so we had to make adjustments due to the wet ground. Making those adjustments was a breeze. It all worked out perfectly and we were still able to have the ceremony outside. We also booked a two night stay at the farmhouses on site to stay in with our friends. I would highly recommend! It was so much fun to have all our closest friends in one place. Angela and the Due Sorelle staff were truly great to work with. I will be recommending this venue any time I can! -

Fabulous venue, highly recommend
Due Sorelle was an absolute dream for our wedding. Angela, the owner, was so attentive and responsive during the whole wedding planning process. It's a beautiful venue with lots of different spaces so you can curate your wedding vision with lots of different options. The big, historic white house on the property is adorable and was perfect to have a home base during the wedding day for the wedding party. The grounds are gorgeous with a big tree right by the house (perfect shade cover and setting for our outdoor ceremony), a sloping lawn leading to the bi-level barn, a field if you want more rustic photos, and a picturesque little lake to top it off. Our reception in the barn perfectly fit 80 people with plenty of wiggle room and we used the outdoor stone patio for our dance party, which was so fun. Even though we got married on a hot day in August the barn was perfectly ventilated and cool even without air conditioning (though elderly guests could step into the A/C in the house to cool off if they need to).
It's super affordable (we got a half-off black Friday deal) and includes tables, chairs, patio furniture, and tons of decor elements like whiskey barrels and a few rustic tables for gifts/apps/photos. There's ample parking for guests but is also accessible to big school-bus style transportation options if you're trucking people the 25 minutes to and from Charlottesville. The whole place has been designed to showcase the beautiful outdoors and rustic barn, so you can get away with minimal decor if you want. Above all else the entire property is clean and well-maintained. We are so grateful to Due Sorelle for sharing their space with us and making our day so beautiful and easy! -

We were in a tight spot and didn't know how to get us all out of an unexpected situation with only months before the wedding. When I was told a venue had been found, I thought the worst at first. Upon arrival to Due Sorrelle, I was FLOORED! I was so relieved and happy all at once. It's a beautiful location and the pics seen ahead of time could never have done it justice. The owners were so helpful and accommodating and did everything within their power to help us. So thankful to Angela for making the day perfect after all. -

My husband and I recently had our vow renewal ceremony and reception at Due Sorelle. JUST WOW! It was absolutely the perfect spot for such a special occasion! We had originally planned to do our ceremony outside but it rained so we switched the ceremony to the top section of the event barn. The lower level of the barn had plenty of space for our 65 guests during the reception. The space is very peaceful, warm and inviting. Angela, the owner, was excellent with all communication leading up to our event. And was prompt with details for our plan B ceremony location inside. Due Sorelle is the perfect mix of both elegant and boho with both outdoor and indoor options for your ceremony / reception. There is a back covered patio overlooking the pond that is perfect for cocktails. The fire fit is a nice warm cozy option if weather permits. All of our guests raved about how peaceful and beautiful the barn and surroundings were. We agree! Would HIGHLY recommend Due Sorelle for your wedding or event!! -

We can't begin to say enough about how amazing our wedding at Due Sorelle was. Angela, the owner was an absolute dream come true to work with and the property is stunning! There is a lovingly restored farmhouse on the property which makes a relaxing, tranquil place to get ready, and the barn was the perfect venue for our reception. We had our ceremony in front of the large tree next to the house overlooking the pond, but there are several other great locations for your ceremony depending on the size of your wedding and what you're looking for. I think the thing you will find distinguishes Due Sorelle from other venues in the area is the intimate feel it will bring to your day. Other venues felt huge, commercial, and almost overwhelming. Due Sorelle felt like home the instant we saw it, and the evening of our wedding was like something out of a fairy tale. Don't hesitate to contact Due Sorelle, you won't be sorry!
