Monika is more than a florist - she's a stylist, a collaborator, and an artist.....and maybe a magician! She helped bring my daughter's unique vision to life at the Welcome Party and Wedding in Key West last month. We threw a lot at her - lions, hydrangeas, limes, chili peppers, tones of greens, French blue with pops of red and yellow. We dreamed of special pins and lace from her gown on boutonnieres and clutches. We envisioned chili peppers cascading over the dance floors and limes spilling out onto the tables and bar. There'd be three bouquets for each dress change, and a color story would evolve from muted greens/blues at the ceremony, to adding pops of red and yellow at the reception, to a full-on color explosion at dinner. And boy, did Monika deliver! She helped source the perfect linens, chargers, candles, and lanterns. I think she bought out all the limes and chili peppers on the island! Our guests literally gasped as they entered the dinner. It was so unexpected, so textural, so layered, and just accented all the joy we felt that night. Monika - thank you for turning visions into reality and making dreams come true!

HIRE THIS COMPANY Monika Duarte and her team went above and beyond to make my wedding florals the most spectacular and stunning arrangements and bouquets that I have ever seen. They were everything I could have hoped for in a wedding florist and MORE. Professional, Artistic, Kind, efficient. Monika has such a magical way with bouquets and arrangements- she took my vision and made it beyond what I had imagined. I honestly cannot stop thinking about my flowers and staring at them. She also gave every single detail the utmost attention to make it beautiful- from the wrapping of the bouquets, to the pearl pins holding things in place, and on the day-of spent extra time lovingly pinning my rosary and my locket (with my recently deceased Dad's and brother's pictures inside) to my bouquet so that everything was secure and perfect. She worked within my budget and offered options should I want to upgrade details but did not pressure me. She also provided centerpiece accessories and designed the entire look of the tables with us to transform them into magical moments. Thank you Team Duarte for florals I will never forget

Duarte is a creative genius!
Duarte was such a pleasure to work with for our floral designs, linens, and ceremony chuppah. Monika brought our vision to life – gorgeous pinks, blues and greens inspired by the venue, the ocean, the sand, and the palm trees. I could not have imagined a more beautiful bridal bouquet, so much that my mom and mother-in-law last minute also decided to preserve the flowers. Monika then provided extra flowers from wedding day to assist in the best preservation. How amazing is that!!! Duarte is incredibly talented and beautiful human to work with!

If you are getting married in Key West and haven’t booked your florist yet then contact Monica at Duarte ASAP!! You will not regret it! We met with Monika about a year out from our wedding for a consultation and showed her all of our inspo and right from the beginning she was making amazing suggestions for both florals and decor. Over the course of the year she was extremely patient with our many requests/changes/thoughts throughout the process and she was always willing to make any and all adjustments. It was hard at first being from out of town and trying to imagine it all come together, but we trusted the team at Duarte to make our wedding day perfect…and they did just that. When we did our walk through of the space before guests arrived we were absolutely blown away by the detail, the arrangements, the colors and literally everything that the team did for us!! It exceeded our expectations and truly turned out perfect. It made our wedding day something we will never forget! 3 months later and we are still admiring the florals and getting comments from friends and family about just how beautiful it was. So do yourself a favor and book with Duarte ASAP because you and your spouse will not be disappointed!

Monika is a magician! And one of the sweetest humans I have met! While picking up our rehearsal flowers, she made sure to say hi and to make sure I loved everything she put together for that night. My mom was so impressed by the rehearsal flowers and even more so for the ceremony/reception florals. I have to be honest; I did not do my research on what flowers were in season/what is best for the Florida heat – all I gave her was some Pinterest pictures that depicted bright colorful flowers and told her I wanted a hint of blue to match the bridesmaids dresses and she completely knocked it out of the park!! I absolutely loved everything she put together!

Monika Duarte is a true artist!
Duarte Floral Design creates stunning and unique floral designs, and Monika created absolutely exquisite arrangements for our wedding. We decided we wanted a tropical theme with some softer tones and Monika understood our vision immediately (peach and light pink roses with red gingers).
I showed Monika my veil which had peach flowers on it, and she incorporated the most beautiful pink peonies into my bridal bouquet which complemented my veil perfectly. We also entrusted her with the decorations and she delivered with ceramic and glass vases, beautiful dark brown rattan plate chargers, and medium pink linen napkins. Most of all, we absolutely LOVED the floral arch that she and her team created for us for our ceremony at the Hyatt Centric dock. After the ceremony, our photographer (Bailey Myers of Meandering Media) captured our favorite photo – us under the arch at sunset – so her work will live on forever!
Monika was with us every step of the way. After we scaled back our budget about six months before the wedding, she helped us readjust our order so we could have the flowers of our dreams at our price point. We highly recommend Duarte Floral Design!

Duarte is amazing!
If you have the opportunity to work with Monika from Duarte take advantage of it! Where do I begin? Her floral arrangements are stunning, but her vision to make our wedding ceremony and reception come to life was flawless. She put together an amazing driftwood arch for us and used lanterns to line the aisle for our beach ceremony.
She then repurposed everything from the ceremony to decorate our reception space. She even designed a lounge with wingback chairs, couch and pillows for our guests which was a huge hit. She is a consummate professional and is an expert in her field. She is a pleasure to work with.

Creative Genius, Amazing Woman
Monika designed and her team at Duarte Floral Design delivered the floral for my rehearsal dinner and wedding. I was married in November, 2022, and I wanted dark autumnal tones in my floral. Nothing that read, "tropical beach wedding," which may have seemed an odd request when getting married in Key West. Well, Monika got my vision immediately. Monika is tough, but always right (I'm not kidding, she is). I will remember fondly her convincing me that azure is the, "true Italian blue," after I had selected navy linens for a Southern Italy theme rehearsal dinner. My greatest advise is to share your vision high level and let Monika run with it. Seriously, listen to Monika. She is an absolute genius of her craft, and I cannot thank her and her team enough for making my wedding weekend absolutely gorgeous.

Absolutely STUNNING Florals
Duarte did an AMAZING job with our wedding flowers. We are from Ohio so we sent them some inspiration photos and put all our trust in them and they truly exceed our expectations!!
The initial cost estimate we were provided was a little over our budget and Monika quickly made some adjustments to the designs to keep it within our budget and also still capture our vision. Monika also repurposed our ceremony arch flowers for our ceremony which also kept the costs down a bit and also allowed us to use the beautiful arrangements elsewhere!
They also did such an amazing job the day of the wedding. They dropped off the boutonnières, corsages, and bouquets to our house and delivered and set up the floral arrangements at the ceremony and reception for us.
We had the wedding flowers of our DREAMS! 10/10 recommend Duarte!!

Recommended by our venue Duarte Florals were great to work with! Very flexible with budget and ideas. Was able to accommodate last minute add -on floral arrangements. Sent pinterest photos and ideas for wedding floral arrangements they were able to replicate beautifully as well as inform us which flowers to choose based on look and price etc... very informative about flowers and which are best to use. Very responsive via email and phone. They are familiar with Key West and our venue at the Hemingway Home along with our cake shop we used for florals on our wedding cake. Definitely recommend.

Monica and her team from start to finish are first class. Not only are they are all extremely sweet, but professional. Duarte Floral Design did an amazing job capturing my vision for our wedding! My husband and I live in Virginia and were planning a destination wedding remotely in Key West. From our first meeting with Monika at her shop, she had great visual examples of how we could bring our wedding to life and what decisions we had to make! Throughout the process, I sent Monika examples of bouquets, farm table pictures, flowers, etc. and she was able to pull all my ideas/concepts together into a fairy tale wedding! We used Duarte Floral Design for our wedding at the Casa Marina in Key West. Since it was a destination wedding you have to put your trust in someone that will care even though you are not there. Their team was awesome. Creative and flexible! They took all the stress out of the process and when the night arrived it was just perfect. Monika is an artist! The flowers were really important to me for my wedding. I wanted to keep it simple, natural and romantic. When I told Monika my vision she immediately understood what I was looking for. When I walked into our venue and saw our wedding table I was amazed at how beautiful everything looked. She has such an eye for color and knew the best flowers to pick to pull out the colors from my bridesmaids dresses. The whole team at Duarte was extremely professional and went above any beyond. When my husband and his groomsmen were having trouble getting the boutonnieres on, Monika came over to pin them on their suits. Duarte Floral Design is simply the best!
Duarte Floral created designs for our wedding and reception that, in our view, ranks among the top florists in the world. Equipped with only a few photos I had flagged on Pinterest, Monika's team executed elegant and sophisticated arrangements that were even better than my lofty expectations, including a 10 foot wide archway of white hydrangeas, and an 8 foot tall cascading "white flower tower" which was the centerpiece of our reception.

Our dream wedding
When planning our wedding, there were two things I was very particular about and willing to splurge a bit on, the floral and the photography. After much research (mostly online, as we live in Texas and weren't able to visit in person before the wedding), Duarte seemed BY FAR the best option for my difficult-to-please aesthetic taste. Monika was so sweet, responsive, & helpful. I sent lots of pictures of ideas and she talked with me about options. When we were feeling tight with the budget, she helped me decide how to adjust without giving up my vision. I finally got to go to her studio and meet her in person a few days before the wedding and it only confirmed my decision more. Day of, our bouquets were delivered and I teared up, they were more amazing than I could've ever imagined. Of course, all the other floral/greenery followed suit at the venue (Hemingway Home). The ONLY downside is that I couldn't wave a wand and make it all last forever. Would recommend Duarte to anyone wanting gorgeous, timeless floral design accompanied by a kind and helpful staff.

I had a lot of trouble deciding between to floral vendors, and I'm so happy I went with Duarte! They took my vision and ran with it. They had great ideas for ways to make my budget last. Specifically, we repurposed the two floral arrangements from the church ceremony, as well as the bridesmaids bouquets, and used them all at the head table. I also appreciated that Monika did not try to upsell me, but instead gave recommendations that ended up saving me money. I was so impressed by the tablescape and my bouquet!

There are not enough words to describe our experience with Duarte. I was extremely worried that I wouldn’t be able to find vendors who could create what I was invisioning. When you think of Florida Keys, you think bright and airy. But we wanted the exact opposite for our design, dark and moody. Monika and Patricio delivered exactly this. Tropical-Romantic Beautiful
Monika made my wedding vision come to life. I wanted tropical yet elegant and romantic feel and she did not disappoint. I was speechless when I saw everything come together and so were our guests. We had a bridal table as the main focus it was breath taking. She provided us with the driftwood arch and incorporated our palm theme during the ceremony but also stabilized it during the reception so many guests could also take their picture with the beautiful arch. Monika was so patient with us making many adjustments along the way. We were able to verbally tell her our ideas and she could understand to make it happen in real life. Highly recommended. Such a wonderful experience. Thank you!
Duarte Floral is amazing! Our venue was transformed magically transformed by Monika Duarte! We asked for a mixed of romantic and tropical and were delighted. My daughter's banquet table for her bridal party was breathtaking. The bouquets, centerpieces and driftwood arch (used during the ceremony and after) were so very beautiful! So many of our guests commented on the flowers and decor provided by Duarte Floral. We discussed our vision and Monika listened and designed our dream. If you are planning a Key West Wedding, choose Monika!

When I asked my planner (Destination Wedding Studio) for a fuchsia wedding inspired by bougainvillea she didnt blink an eye. I wasn't quite sure how it would be pulled off without looking super tacky but Monika from Duarte was the answer. From our first meeting I was sold on her artistry. It is so clear that she is a true artist in all the floral work that she does. She had all the insight on the types of flowers we could use and the exact look I wanted. We spoke over the phone and she walked me through the entire estimate so I was comfortable with it. She wanted to make sure I was onboard but I told her I trusted her to make all the right decisions and she did. I sent her a few photos of what I was looking for and she created the most dreamy of a fuchsia filled wedding I have ever seen. I must say I winced a bit at the price of my florals (I did ask for a hanging feature and orchids were the main flower so it makes sense) but it was beyond what I was expecting. The day of the wedding we were all getting dressed as floral after floral after floral passed us by. I was so excited to see the final product and it was amazing. There is no way anyone else would have been able to create such a beautiful atmosphere as she did. Everyone was raving about the flowers for days. Where do I begin to say thank you to Monika and Patricio for their beautiful floral designs for my daughter’s wedding? I have honestly never seen such amazing flowers in my life and Monika made our vision come to life. She was so kind, creative, warm and wonderful to work with. I wish for every bride to have the good fortune to have Monika’s designs be the centerpiece of the most important day in her life. My daughter was a beautiful bride, but Duarte’s floral arrangements, bouquet, and décor made her and her wedding look like a dream. Please, moms … choose Duarte and you will never regret it. Monika is an artist! Our wedding flowers were absolutely amazing and could not have been more lush and beautiful. She is clearly such a skilled designer which made the planning process a piece of cake - I felt like I could trust her judgment 1000% knowing that the end product was going to be perfect. As gorgeous as the arrangements and my bouquet were, there are also so many little details that still stand out in my mind! Monika gave us a few extra fresh flowers for our photography details pictures and an extra boutonniere for my dad (things I had totally overlooked!), and then surprised us with the prettiest flowers/greenery for our sweetheart table. I am so thankful we chose Duarte and I know you will be too!

Simply the best! Monika was amazing to work with -- my session with her and our wedding planner was one of my favorite parts of the whole planning process. I could tell she had a fantastic eye for detail and would pull together gorgeous flowers and other details like lanterns, candles, etc in the perfect collaboration to pull together a stunning vision. And, she did just that -- our table was simply gorgeous, as were all the details for our decor at the cocktail hour, ceremony, etc. She was also extremely gracious and flexible in working with us when some of our guests wanted to enjoy the flowers from the reception -- none of us could stand the thought of such gorgeous blooms only being enjoyed for one night. All I could have hoped for and more!! Thank you!

Nov 18th, 2017 - Jersey Bride - Key West - The only word I can think of is speechless. My floral design was absolutely perfect. My wedding planner (Peggy with Destination Wedding Studio) recommended Monika and I am so glad she did. First of all Monika was such a pleasure to work with. Everything we did was over the phone but she completely understood my vision and made my wedding look like a pintrest photo. I only told her I wanted bright flowers with 3 hanging structures in the middle of the room. WOW!!!
It was perfect. When working with Monika she provided me with a detailed flower list so I could google each flower to see the color and shape. We went through each flower to make sure it hit my vision (by the way, everything she picked out was perfect). We also discussed different center pieces and design elements for each table. I wish I could post photos to this review because my words do not do it justice. Absolutely, 100% recommend Durante Floral Design.

We used Duarte for our May wedding at the Hemingway Home. I met with Monika in November 2016 and showed her pictures and told her my vision. I was worried about how the flowers would be on the day of the wedding but they turned out better than I could have hoped. Monika definitely made my vision come to life. Monika was amazing to work with and her flowers are absolutely stunning. She has beautiful decor inventory to choose from and will work with you to make your vision a reality. When we first met there was a slight miscommunication on budget so I wasn't happy with the first proposal...it was not a problem at all. Monika was super accommodating and made herself available for phone calls and emails as I was planning my Key West wedding from London. She worked with me to get to a budget I was comfortable with without sacrificing quality. The result was AMAZING. I couldn't be happier with the ceremony + reception flowers. My guests are still raving about my bouquet! She even worked with me to use the centerpiece flowers again the next day at my send-off brunch. Look no further, you must work with Duarte, you won't be disappointed!!

Very scary when you have to make plans from California for a Key West wedding. Had to trust what you see online for florists. Thankfully Duarte Floral Design was everything you saw and More!!!! The wedding table arrangements were gorgeous. ALL the bouquets and boutonnieres were amazing!! We couldnt have asked for more. They were exceptional.

We had the pleasure to work with Monica from Duarte recently for our wedding in Ernest Hemingway home in Key West. We were absolutely in love with Duarte flower designs, our wedding settings looked stunning! They took our ideas very carefully and did everything even better than we imagined. Everyone loved it and took lots of pictures of the table settings and florals. They showed extra care by preparing a few different options for boutonniere design to make sure groom had exactly what he wanted, and he loved it. They also accommodated a very last minute request/ adhoc idea from make up artist to add some flowers into bridal hairstyle! I would definitely highly recommend them to anyone for wedding in the Keys.

If your looking for a WOW factor, You have come to the right spot. Monika and Patricio have such artist vision. See something you like on Pinterest? They make it come to life. Monika was so professional and so focused. Her designs unique. We were immediately on the same page creating so many ideas together. Our theme was old Hollywood and our day would be held at the Hemingway home. The final result was a visual splender of lush greenery and just enough art deco. One of our wedding guests is a party planner for the likes of Stella McCartney and Donatella Versace, and she was floored by the design. Everyone was! Thank you Monika and Patricio your talent and perspective made our day exceptional.

We were absolutely thrilled with our flowers and decorations by Durate Floral Design. I wasn't worried about planning a destination wedding but there is an element of being unsure about how things will turn out without being able to see things in person but based of what I saw on their social media, I knew I could trust Monika and Patricio to handle our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hemingway Home. We we right. They did a wonderful job and executed everything perfectly, despite being given very little instruction - we had a vibe and they nailed it without any hand-holding. I made a lot of last minute decisions and they rolled with it beautifully. Would highly recommend!

Monika at Durate was AMAZING! We went and interviewed all the top florists in Key West. We started with a budget and what we wanted the design to look like. For the most part everyone was out of our budget, which we started to understand this is the first time we have done this and flowers are an exspensive part of the wedding day. But what really stopped us in our tracks were all the designers telling us that we couldn't have what we wanted. After being told by 5 differednt designers that we couldnt have low and high arrangements at the Westin Sunset Deck we felt as if it just wasnt going to look the way we had dreamed it. Thats when we met with Monika, she sat down with us, she listed to what we wanted, and then right there at the first meeting with her she started to put table designs together exactly as we had described it to her. She said that we could have the design we wanted and that if it was to be windy she would change it at the last minute to make it safe but still keep as much of our design as possible. I was over the moon. Turns out Duarte has had the most experiance at the Sunset Deck at the Westin and she knew what she was talking about. I called her that night and booked her. The flowers were amazing, everything was perfect and exactly what we had wanted. Thank you Monika for listening to us and making our wedding day perfect with your beautiful arrangments.

Wow!! This place exceeded all of my expectations. Most beautiful flowers and decorations I have ever seen. Everyone at our wedding said our wedding looked like a front page of a magazine. I am a extremely picky person and sometimes hard to deal with. So when someone does there job over and beyond I am usually surprised. Duarte did just that. They made our wedding absolutely perfect!!! My wedding was an outside venue in Key West and Duarte Floral Design provided all of the flowers for the beach and reception. They were simply AMAZING. Guests kept asking who designed them and at the end of the night they asked if they could have one to take home. Monika was remarkable taking a couple of pictures we found on the internet and blending what we wanted after a 45 minute meeting, I am not sure how they do it but I highly recommend them in our town. The best part is when you sit in their store they actually have inventory such as vases, lanterns....to view. We were truly pleased in every way by what they did and it was a simple process. Book them for wonderful work and creativity.

Magical! That is truly the best way to describe our experience with Duarte Floral design. Being locals, my wife and I had the advantage of not having to completely rely on internet reviews when it came time to select our florist. We were already well aware of Duarte’s reputation and once we sat down with them to discus our big day the choice was an easy one to make for us. When it was all said and done their craftsmanship well exceeded the already impressive reputation we had heard about going in.
They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They embraced our vision and then offered their own unique and creative style that sent our original ideas to something above and beyond what we had imagined. Their subtle, but uniquely fresh, ideas meshed perfectly with what we wanted to accomplish. Duarte has a an unequaled style that you will be hard pressed to find elsewhere on the island, or anywhere else I’d have to imagine. They delivered for us and we couldn’t have been more impressed or happy with night that helped us create!
I’m confident in saying that…. you won’t disappointed with Duarte. And although the day/night is ultimately all about you, it’s pretty cool to have your guests impressed and still talking about it too.

AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! They have such vision and are so open minded! There is no way to explain how amazing their work is, you must look at their pictures. They are also very nice to work with. They listen to your ideas and then make them better :) and they just go above and beyond in all aspects. At my wedding they were helping in any way they could, straightening my dress, drying chairs, etc, even after they had finished everything they had to do themselves.

Pat and Monika were absolutely wonderful. They were so friendly and professional. They had great suggestions as to how to display all of my flower choices. They had a great selection of table decor available to rent at very reasonable prices. My wedding flower arrangements, bouquets, and table decor setup were absolutely gorgeous. Everything was carried out exactly as I planned. They are very talented designers and were able to adhere to our budget and make our wedding ceremony and reception even more beautiful. We were very pleased with our outstanding level of service. I would suggest sending exact colors and dropping off swatches in person. We met with Pat and Monika in person while in Key West to do all of tastings and vendor walk through. They were very accommodating and more than willing to meet with us in advance. At the end of the evening, they allowed our guests to take home all of the arrangements they wanted including the wooden box vases. This was a very nice addition to a wonderful experience. I don't have enough good things to say about Duarte Floral Design. They made our wedding absolutely STUNNING! They provided the decorations for the centerpiece, the arch and of course all the flowers. We talked to multiple florists in Key West before finding Duarte through our planner Vicky, and we had begun getting stressed out because all the other estimates and photos sent to us from the other companies seemed tacky and unprofessional. We planned this wedding from CA and never got to see anything in person ahead of time, but as soon as we saw photos from Duarte we were relieved because the quality they provide is so high. Everything was exquisite, they blew the competition out of the water. Additionally there was one flower that all the other florists told me I couldn't get, and it was the main thing I was hoping to get for my bouquet. Duarte was able to get it for us! Duarte Floral Design was absolutely incredible. My wedding flowers were perfect and I received so many compliments. Even my wedding planner, who has done a ton of weddings, was amazed at how large and beautiful my bouquet was. Patricio was extremely easy to work with and very responsive. He was very flexible about working with me on floral options, and the final bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely amazing. He has an exquisite eye, especially if you are looking for something tropical-inspired, although he can work with any flowers and make completely unique arrangements. I had consultations with several different florists in Key West and found him to be the most cost--effective as well. Definitely a must for anyone needing a florist in Key West!

We were blown away by the flowers Duarte Floral Design created for our Wedding. We gave them some guidelines and explained the style we were going for, and they delivered! We got quotes from a few other florists and Duarte beat them all by far and were able to provide exactly what we wanted. They definitely exceeded my expectations and it really gave our wedding the perfect look! Thank you for excellent service and beautiful flowers!!!!

My wedding was on November 21, 2015 and it was awesome because of the flowers. I had the most gorgeous cascading bridal bouquet!!! On our first meeting, they knew right away what my vision was and helped me find a way to make this possible and stay within our budget. They created a beautiful arch design and floral design down the isle that led to my soon to be husband. Pat's knowledge of flowers and his extraordinary design skills and flexibility made every moment of planning my wedding a joy. Stress free, knowing I was in such good hands, and I am a very picky person and hard to please!!!!!! I can't say enough about the incredible job Duarte Floral Design and their team did. My wedding cascading orchid bouquet was an absolutely dream come true!!! Duarte Floral Design managed to bring our dream wedding flowers and decor to life. They were on top of the game, very responsive and thougfull when we had questions, and extremely patient! Monika & Pat are both really talented, with this European touch, love it!!!
From wedding arbor, my bridal bouquet and centerpieces left me speechless when I saw them on my wedding day. I was really impressed with they work and details they had done. Everything was perfect!!!

My son got married on December 21 2014, the reception was held at the Sunset Key. Pat designed elegant and stylish arrangements for the tables.
The flowers were first quality and everything arrived on time. We can not thank them enough, they made sure everything was perfect!

My Daughter's wedding was at the Sunset Key Private Island in Key West, FL. The flowers were gorgeous and exactly what she wanted. They listened to her desires and made it happen. Amazing/Beautiful Flowers and People!! Duarte Floral was incredible to work with from the beginning. I had the pleasure of being in communication with Pat and he was always kind and on top of things even if there were changes or additions. They truly just want to make you happy and will listen and take the time to make your vision come alive. And let me tell you, they do just that and more. They took my breath away with how beautiful everything came together. I also had a situation where my vail was not ordered by a bridal salon but Monika and Pat at Duarte helped take care of the situation my making me a jaw dropping flower crown that to be quite honest made me forget all about the vail in the first place. They were one of my favorite vendors to work with and if you want someone to be passionate about your wedding vision as much as you are, you will NOT regret choosing this wonderful company.

TOTAL AMAZEBALLS!!! We got married on September 6th 2015 and I wish we could post photos so I could show you all how incredible & amazing our ceremony & reception room at the Hyatt looked!! WOW!!!
I met Pat back in May of this year & because I was working with such a limited budget I really needed to get the best bang for my buck! I'm not sure if Pat is going to kill me for this review but I was able to reuse all my ceremony flowers for my reception tables & the room. By the time we finished the ceremony and took a group photo & headed upstairs to the Marquesa room he had managed to redecorate the tables & make it so beautiful and breathtaking! He & his wife worked so hard & I'm still so beyond happy with how gorgeous it all looked!!!
Pat worked with me the whole time & every month I would change little things & he has so many ideas & options & was never one to push me into getting the normal Key West boring decor!! We decorated my ceremony chairs with crystal strands & ribbon accents We had shepherd hooks with simple but lush & big Hydrangeas. At the end we added two huge lanterns at the beginning of the aisle that really stood out & made it look so posh! The one splurge we decided on was a floral arrangement that paid tribute to my husband's brother who passed away & he really made it so beautiful! He has this incredible "tree stand" that he hung elegant crystal beads from and it just took my breath away!
I made a change a week before the wedding to add lanterns to all the reception tables! I originally wanted glass vases with orchids and tall strands of grass and while I still LOVED my floral choice I just knew that adding the lanterns would make everything perfect and it did! He kept my flowers but just repurposed them and added these stunning lanterns that made my very tight budget look as if we had spent so much money! The candles in the lanterns made the room sparkle! Pat, you are beyond amazing and worked magic and beauty!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!

Duarte was amazing! We know nothing about flowers or centerpieces, so coming up with ideas was difficult until we went to their studio. They really know what they are doing. All of the decor at our wedding was absolutely gorgeous! And all of the flowers stayed so beautiful throughout the long, hot day! Pat was so quick to respond to any questions or changes I needed to make throughout the planning process. I cannot say enough great things about them! I highly recommend them!!!

Duarte Floral Designs did a beautiful job on the floral and decorations for my wedding day in Key West at the Hyatt Resort and Spa. Pat communicated over e-mail in a timely manner and was very professional. He even added candle centerpieces last minute to my reception. No matter how you slice it, flowers are expensive, but Duarte worked within my budget to meet my floral vision and design that I had for my wedding day.

Duarte Floral Design did an INCREDIBLE job on our wedding flowers. Patricio went above and beyond to meet my expectations. Though I did not get to meet him in person until the day of our event, he followed the photos I sent him perfectly. He was so easy to work with and they stuck around after the ceremony to move a few arrangements to our reception. He did such excellent work at such a great price. I would recommend him to anyone having their wedding in Key West!

My flowers were absolutely beautiful !! I had a small beach wedding @ Sunset Key in Key West . Duarte Floral Designs did an outstanding job decorating my arch etc. & flowers were just stunning! They delivered all my personal flowers to my hotel room right on time! Being a destination wedding & not being able to meet in person sometimes your vision doesn't come across. Not with Duarte Floral! they got it ! It was exactly what I wanted and more! Our table for the reception dinner was done so elegant and so beautiful. I love the Wow factor & that's exactly what we got!! I would absolutely recommend to anyone that wants the best !.

I had a very small order for my wedding, though Monika made me feel just as important as the other brides! I come from a horticulture and floral design background so I had some specifics on my bouquet. She was patient with me and delivered exactly what I asked for including the perfect color pallet! Duarte Floral exceeded our expectations. They were on the preferred vendor list for our wedding at the Casa Marina. We talked with a total of 3-4 florists, and Duarte was the best.
- Responsive! From day 1, Monika was extremely responsive. She responded to all my questions in my initial email (when other vendors would ask for a call instead of replying). She was available by phone and email.
- Listens! Monika was all about understanding what I wanted and then advising on what was possible. She also looked at all the photos that I emailed to her and my Pinterest board. This is a step beyond all the other vendors. I've had other vendors just impose their views on my flowers without regard to my photos. Monika was all about listening and working with what I wanted. She also gave advice on what would look good and also set expectations (like if certain flowers or color were unavailable, she would tell me. There are some florists whom would promise everything but wouldn't be able to delivery results. Monika gives you what she promises!).
- Professional and accommodating! Monika was all about communicating with us. I had about 3-4 phone calls with her and at least 6 email exchanges with her on the flowers I wanted. Monika went the extra mile to try to accommodate my wants. I was dead set on having certain colored flowers, and she was able to find these flowers that matched exactly what I wanted. In fact, she had never used these flowers before, but worked hard to find them!
- Timely! On the wedding day, Monika and Pat delivered the flowers early and separately made a run to the Groom for the boutonnieres. There were no bad surprises.
- Duarte was more expensive (by $300-500), but I talked with other vendors and Duarte was the best. They actually listened unlike their competitors. They were not pushy and were trying to fit within my budget. They were my favorite vendor and I would recommend then without hesitation!

Our wedding flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS! They took my breath away! Pat was amazing to talk to, and very accommodating when I had special requests, such as being able to split my bouquet into 3 pieces. He put amazing thoughts into every piece of our decor. The driftwood and lanterns were so elegant and beautiful! If you are looking for a florist in Key West-- Pat and Duarte Floral Design is the way to go!

So disappointed. Flowers were nothing like what I had asked for or shown pictures of. I was brought to tears the day of my wedding when they brought in mine and my bridesmaids bouquets. They did "fix" my bouquet but it was still not what I had wanted. Wedding was amazing but everyone agreed that the flowers were the worst part of my event. So hard to communicate with as well. Should have trusted my gut and gone with someone else. However, they did provide stunning lanterns. Look elsewhere!
