Joel and Kait’s wedding!

Very reasonable pricing for a night of fun! We used Dave & Travis as DJs for our wedding and they did a phenomenal job with every little detail. Music was great and keep the dance floor dancing!

Couldn’t ask for a better DJ!

As a professional wedding planner/coordinator myself, I knew Dave was going to be our DJ without a doubt when it was my turn to get married!
I've worked with many DJ's over the years and Dave and his company DTR Productions consistently delivered with so many different & diverse mutual clients, and in so many creative ways, the mark of someone who has both integrity & passion in his profession coupled with many years of experience.
A Class "A" performer who puts the Bride & Groom way above anything & everything else so they shine on thier big day. Dave also doesn't draw any unnecessary attention to himself, as I've unfortunately seen in some other DJ's I worked with over the years.
When it came time for our planning process Dave as a full time operator, was always there for me and my husband to answer any questions, no matter how small or trivial, which put us at ease. He also created a custom mix mashup for my husband & his mom to dance to, which was flawless!
The wedding party introductions are always handled with ease and excitement, but when it comes to the music and the party - the main reason we hired him - he blew the roof of the venue! Nobody I've ever heard in my own wedding planning career hits all the marks quite like Dave, but this happens only after a more quiet & reserved music set for dinner time, so our guests could talk and hear each other, which is much appreciated by everyone.
Dave did for us everything a wedding DJ should do! We recommend Dave all the way and then some!

DTR - Incredible Wedding DJ!! 10/10

Dave/DTR was an incredible DJ for our wedding in May 2025! Cannot recommend him highly enough. He worked with us to plan the music and he listened to what we like and what we don't like and gave us exactly the wedding we wanted! There was NEVER a time when the dancefloor was empty! No matter the kind of wedding or event you are planning, he can give you the event you want. He is experienced, fun, entertaining, and knowledgeable and I will use him again!

Everything was perfect

Everything was absolutely perfect. The music was versatile and appropriate. Everyone raved about the music. The MC was great and so was the person running the photo booth. Every guest LOVED the photo booth. All around just an amazing team that did an amazing job

Get ready to party!!

We're so glad we went with DTR for our wedding!! If you're like us and looking for some classic fun, BOOK THEM! Dave handled everything we asked for and more. We made all of our playlists ahead of time and he took it from there. We had a smaller wedding of 54, but even then there were very few lulls on the dance floor. Dave always made himself readily available for any of our questions or concerns before the wedding, always provided us with the utmost sincerity and guidance when planning. It was great to work with such a reliable DJ!!

Dave is great!

Dave and I go way back to when he was DJ'ing the NJ club scene. I was already familiar with his responsiveness, and his attention to reading the room. Dave is your go-to for any event whether it be formal or super casual. I've seen him dazzle large and small crowds. I strongly recommend Dave!

Will use DTR Productions again!

Dave was amazing to work with! We had a backyard wedding and he came to check out our space to ensure that he came prepared with necessary equipment. He was responsive to our questions and suggestions. He made it clear what we needed to do to make sure the special songs/layout went seamlessly on our wedding day. He kept our guests engaged and on the dance floor all night. We will be using Dave and his team again for future events and will be recommending him to family and friends!

DTR rocked the house

Dave was great from the start. He was very communicative from the beginning and was flexible to meet the various genres of music that we wanted to provide for all generations at our wedding. Everyone at our wedding was on the dance floor and had such a wonderful time. DTR also provided a photo booth, which was a blast! We were very happy with this company.

DJ Dave Rocked the House!!

We used DTR for ceremony audio and reception audio at 2 different locations. Both were on time super professional and made a stressful process feel easy. Dave was very responsive and was able to get all of our songs together. He followed the schedule we laid out and helped transition people for dances dinner and most importantly party time! Dave read the room perfectly and had everyone on their feet for the whole night. I couldn't recommend DTR enough especially at this price point. Do yourself a favor and reach out for a quote you won't be disappointed.

Kept the party going, Absolute Full Send!

Where do I even begin. Dave not only understood our vibe and style from hearing only one song we requested for our introduction on our first conversation, but went above and beyond and created the most incredible intro mashup for us on his own as a surprise. He killed it with all music requests and his own selection and the dance floor was never empty. I will use Dave for any event we have moving forward and cannot recommend him enough. Dave of DTR

We discussed ahead of time some of the songs to be played. and Dave was great with that. We wanted mostly "Oldies" and that worked out well. We had a slightly older crowd and wanted the music to be played a little lower than usual and Dave was happy to do that. He took requests from out guests and so many remarked to us what a great DJ he was. Thank you Dave, Carol & Bill

Amazing DJ for our wedding

We could not help but give this DJ a 5 star review if there were ten stars I would ********** ! Pete was our DJ for the Wedding. He is one of the guys from the group that works with Dave and he came highly recommended. We had a pre game meeting before the event to figure out what kind of music we wanted to play. Pete played the best stuff. NONE of my guests sat around bored. They all danced the night away. We didn't want it to end. he kept the music lively and fun there was something for everyone. From 50's to country to 60,70,80,90 and today! The guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been too. I whole heartily think it was the music and the vibe. We had a night to remember. Thank You again Dave and Pete!

Dave and his team were amazing to work with. Our wedding day and music was perfect, they played the list of songs we gave them and had people on the dance floor all night long which was exactly what we wanted!! Dave was wonderful to work with. He was professional, fun, and just an all around great DJ! We had a handful of requests (non-music/song wise) and he was so accommodating to those requests. On the day of, he set up and got things ready with ease. It was so nice to be at your own wedding and know that the people on your team are 150% capable of doing their job without needing direction from you. Best DJ ever!!

Dave was beyond amazing!! With all the lighting and photos on the screen. He played every song we wanted. Our guests definitely loved him and had soo much fun!! Dave played the song that my dad used to sing to me when I was little and that meant the world to me!! I will be definitely calling him again for other occasions we will have!! The best!!!

Dave was so personable, so easy to work with, and he made the planning process fun and exciting! Our reception was exactly what we wanted, and so many of our guests told us afterward how much fun it was and how great the music was. Two thumbs up!

I was very particular about the type of music I wanted to hear at my wedding, and Dave delivered a performance that met my expectations and kept wedding guests of all ages on the dance floor throughout the night! We met in person and spoke on the phone several times in advance, and Dave was great to work with the whole way. He was receptive to our suggestions and wanted to make sure the night went exactly how we desired. He was able to accommodate us when we provided custom songs for our reception entrance and first dances, and he made sure to get a good variety of different genres and eras of music to keep everyone satisfied. The montage that he played during dinner is apparently a specialty of his, and we were floored by how amazing it turned out. He even brought a photographer along to take candid dance floor pictures that would show up on the monitors in real time, which was a big hit with our guests. It is my firm belief that a wedding is only as good as the DJ, and Dave made sure our wedding night was an unforgettable party for all our guests.

Dave is an amazing person to work with!! He listened to our idea of a Halloween Costume Wedding and was immediately excited to do it! He came up with surprises above and beyond our expectations, he kept our guest on the floor dancing, and his lighting and special effects made the venue absolutely perfect and even better for our theme!! He is extremely personable and courteous to all the guests. I couldn't imagine any other DJ putting on an event like he did for us!!

Easy going Dave knows how to get the party started

We worked with Dave for our wedding and could not have been more pleased. We spoke twice on the phone during the planning process and each time I got such a great vibe from him. He is really kind and accommodating. It was clear upon meeting him that he loves seeing his clients and their guests happy. He based the night's music off a few suggestions from us and all of our guests told us later how perfect the music had been. Everyone across the age spectrum was happy and my husband and I danced like crazy. You really can't go wrong with Dave!

We hired DTR productions for our wedding and we were thrilled with their service!! Dave was so easy to work with. He expertly guided us through all options. He was accommodating and helped us customize our day to perfection! We had lighting for our tent which included our names and changing colors. It was stunning!! Dave was a great MC during the reception and kept everything on schedule. The music was amazing and everyone danced the entire night! Dave was even able to accommodate a spur of the moment - usual request for my husband. His friends couldn’t stop talking about it! The reception was better than I imagined! I highly recommend DTR productions!

DTR Productions is absolutely amazing! We hired them to DJ ,VJ and run photo booth for our wedding! They knew how to keep everyone on the dance floor and transitioned into music super smoothly. MC was very engaging and videos were displayed clear with no issues. With the VJ and photo booth they were taking candid photos the entire wedding to display on the screens, we received all those pictures along with photo booth pictures at the end of the night! I would highly recommend for any occasion !

DTR Productions was the first and only DJ that we met with during our wedding planning. Dave was professional, polite, funny and offered some great tips for making our day even more special. He asked plenty of questions, listened to what we wanted and got a feel for who we are and what we were looking for. We felt no need to meet with anyone else.
The music during our entire event was SPOT ON and there was never a dull moment on the dance floor! Our guests were raving about the venue/food, the music and of course, the dress!
We are so incredibly happy that we chose DTR Productions to set the mood for the most important day in our lives and will continue to use them in the future! You won't be disappointed if you use DTR as well, that's for sure!

Dave was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ for our wedding, and after speaking with him once on the phone he knew what kind of style we wanted and that showed throughout our special day. After we sent over a playlist of songs we had in mind, he played songs that complemented our list and added in dance songs that got everyone out on the floor. We got many compliments from guests, and we cannot recommend him enough! :)

DJ Dave and his Emcee performed at our wedding reception in Delaware, and they were professional, up-to-date on music, and well worth the price. Without question, they were well prepared and knew the right questions to ask in setting up our entire reception party. If you are not sure what kinds of music or activities to keep your guests entertained the entire evening, they certainly are the right ones to ask and they are especially adaptable to last minute changes or reacting to the crowd. I intend to use them again for a house party in South Jersey in the near future and I would recommend them without reservation. Chris D.

Dave was AMAZING! He was able to read the crowd, play the guests requests and keep the party going. The dance floor was never empty! Dave was extremely accommodating and very flexible. He worked with us in having a surprise song sung live by one of our guests. We have received nothing but positive comments from our guests about the music and our DJ. Dave and Jay were great the day/night of our wedding! We ended up adding the 2 TVs to our package and I'm SO GLAD we did! Prior to the wedding, Dave asked me to send him childhood pictures of my husband and myself with each of our parents, as well as pictures of us as a couple. Throughout the father/daughter, mother/son, and our first dance each set of pictures played! It really helped make the moment more personal, and gave the crowd something to watch instead of just two people slow dancing on the dance floor! BUT even better then that, Dave and Jay took pictures throughout the day during the ceremony and later displayed them on the TVs during dinner and the reception...it was again another great personal touch to such a fantastic night! The music choices throughout the night were perfect, and they even impressed my parents! My parents are a tough crowd to please, and wouldn't stop nagging me about making sure I hired a good DJ and Dave and Jay did not disappoint! My mom was so eager to get back on the dance floor after dinner! I definitely recommend DTR Productions for any bride/groom to be! =)

DTR made my wedding the absolute best. Everyone was up and dancing. Dave is the epitome of the perfect DJ. Bringing a drone to capture many special moments and pictures though out the night. The photo booth was specular and the imagines captured in it will forger be laughed at.

A lot goes into making the whole day everything you’ve dreamed, but my husband and I both agreed a great DJ was THE most important. We had talked to four DJs before Dave and none of them felt like a good fit. After chatting with Dave, John and I instantly knew we wanted him for our big day!

We were so impressed and beyond pleased with everything on wedding day. Our quick ceremony had exactly the music we wanted, cocktail hour was the perfect blend, the reception was better than I imagined, and the after-party had all of my favorites. Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night and I certainly was not ready for the night to end. Dave played the BEST mix of music, nonstop. And my night was made when Grandma was dancing to Run D.M.C.!

So many people complimented us on our DJ choice and every time I was always quick to respond in agreement and that it was a “no brainer choice” to pick Dave. Luckily for him none of my friends or sisters are married yet, so I am sure we will be seeing him again just as guests next time.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for making our night to remember everything we wanted and more. I wish we had gotten a picture with you!… we were just too busy dancing and enjoying every single minute of music.

DTR and his crew sure know how to bring the party out of the party. We had one of the GREATEST nights of our lives with entertainment DTR brought us on our wedding day. DTR did an amazing job for our wedding. The drone they had for our beach ceremony was a hit and looked AWESOME on screen during the reception. All our guests loved it and couldn't stop talking about it. He felt out the crowd throughout the whole evening and played music to set the mood perfectly transitioning from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. My wife and I first met Dave at one of our friends weddings in NJ. We were newly engaged, and had started the planning process. Dave and his crew were AMAZING, so we approached him and asked if they would be willing to come to the Washington DC area for our wedding. Dave and the guys were super responsive throughout the booking process, and seemed excited about our wedding throughout the process. Dave contacted me the week of our wedding to go over things (went over name pronunciations, song requests, etc), so we felt super comfortable about how our night was going to go.

The lighting, DJ setup, and appearance were all amazing. Our videographer commented before we had entered the reception room that it was the best setup he had ever seen. Dave and his crew kept the party going all night with our requests, classics, and recent hits.

Our advice...if you want your night to be amazing, don't skimp on the DJ. Dave and his guys are the best, and kept the partying going all night at our wedding. People as old as our grandmothers, and as young as our flower girls had a blast.

We hired Dave for our wedding at Bello Giorno in Belvidere, NJ. Since he was one of the highly rated DJs that was recommended by the venue, we had pretty high expectations going in. His price seemed amazingly low, but his performance blew us away. He read the room perfectly, and EVERYONE at our wedding had a blast singing and dancing. When you can get all ages participating like that, you're a real pro!

I can't recommend him enough, he has the experience and talent to make your wedding night epic for everyone.

I had DTR for my wedding dj this past August . It is now November and my guests are still calling us telling us how great the music was and how much fun they had. I couldn't agree more. These guys really set the night off right . The emcee was great . Got everyone in the mood to party without being your typical corny wedding emcee. The music was great. From popular oldies all the way to the Newest of new music out today . Sound was excellent and the lighting was perfect . I don't think anyone sat down the entire night . From the intros up until the last song my guests were dancing and singing along. I'm not one to usually go on the Internet and write a review but I felt it was only fair for for me to do so after the experience I had with DTR . Dave is an amazing DJ who made our wedding so much fun! Dave knew all of the right songs to play to get all of our guests into the dancing mood! "DTR" Productions (Dave the Rave and DJ Jay) was the perfect choice for our wedding. Not only did they provide professional and polite service, they made the night unforgettable with a perfect mix of music to set the mood and get the dance floor moving. Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night! Dave created the perfect playlist to make our night special without being overly obtrusive and pushy like some other DJ's can be. Our guests kept telling us how great the music was at our reception and how much fun they were having on the dance floor. I can’t say enough good things about DJ Dave. We interviewed a few DJs, all either double or triple what we were hoping to pay. When we found Dave and I heard his pricing, I was almost concerned – too good to be true, right? I asked him, point blank, and he said, “I’m charging you what my time is worth given your preferences and location…it’s just fair.” I knew then we were in good hands. Dave was extremely responsive throughout the planning process, but the best part of work with Dave was the product he delivered. I’m not making this up – our guests are STILL talking about the music. One guest asked Dave at the reception for the playlist…Dave didn’t just email her the list – he mailed her a CD. My husband and I hired Dave for our wedding and could not have been more impressed. He did an amazing job and his prices were beyond reasonable. In speaking to him over the phone and via e-mail before our wedding, he really got a feel for what music we liked and played a perfect mix that made everyone happy. Couldn't say enough about Dave!! He is the best...The few things I actually wanted in a DJ was someone who got everyone up and dancing, and someone who ignored all the dorky requests (the one from the awkward uncle for another one bites the dust...oy) and got my wishes!! :) From the very beginning my husband and I were planning our wedding from a distance and didn't have the most flexible schedule, and Dave was great working around ours to meet. We emailed back and forth a few times after that and then saw him on the big day! We walked into the reception and the setup was awesome! The lights were awesome, and it was the perfect atmosphere for a party! Then it came time for the music and it just got better and better. Dave took all the requests from the guests, had every song we wanted played and was great with announcing birthdays too! Dave played music that got everyone off their feet and we were so pleased with everything. You cannot go wrong with DTR!! For any future parties, we will be using DTR for everything!

When it came to my Wedding planning the first vender i knew i wanted was DTR Productions. They are professional, super friendly and know exactly how to play to a mixed crowd. Everyone from my Grandmother to my 16 year old cousin was on the dance floor all night!!

I hired DTR Productions for my daughters sweet 16 party. Our event was held in a hotel banquet room with a guest list of approximately 115. 80 to 90 of that list was teenagers. The dance floor was packed all night long. He knew exactly how to handle the special ceremonies (ie: the shoes, the lipstick, etc). I have to say that Dave made this a memorable affair. He knew exactly what the quests wanted to hear. He even had the older folks dancing. The quests were talking about the party and the music for several days the following week - complimenting how wonderful the DJ was. I would hire Dave (DTR Productions) again without thinking twice. Thank you Dave. You are absolutely the BEST!!!

Dave's professionalism and promptness resulted in a success for our multi-cultural wedding which left our guests wanting more. He responded to my many emails and knew my concerns before hand and practically held my hand through it all. He was a wonderful addition to our celebration.

Dave provided us with great service for our wedding. He listened to what we wanted and what we didn't want. Our guests did not stop dancing the entire night even during dinner. He did a great job and was very professional.

Being in an original rock band, I was adamant about NOT having an overpriced, generic band play my wedding. I had Dave MC and DJ and not only was his rate very palatable, but the delivery of his services was seemless. From introductions of the wedding party to allowing me to sing a song to my bride to simply keeping the dancefloor busy and happy, Dave did it all with aplomb. He did not play any typical songs, etc.. as per our instructions which was a pleasure. No chicken dance, macarena, etc... despite the occasional request from guests. He made our special day that much more special since we ended up having nothing to worry about at all! We were free to celebrate! Great guy and an outstanding DJ!

I hired Dave, not for a wedding ,but for my daughter's sweet sixteen party. He did a very professional job, kept everyone entertained and delivered what he was paid to do.

Laura and I were very undecided over having a band or a DJ for our wedding. We had 200 people. My family has a very big background in music. My brother and I are both musicians. Needless to say, we sat down with DTR productions prior to the wedding to pick out songs. To be short and sweet, everyone at our wedding had a great time. Everyone told us that the DJ was outstanding the entire night. Laura and I thank DTR for everything they have done to make our wedding day a very special day. Thanks ! DTR Productions did an amazing job. The music was great and the guests did not sit down all night. The DJ was able to read the crowd perfectly and that was the key factor in making the night a huge success. We are the type of people who feel every detail is important, and not one detail was overlooked by DTR!

We used Dave for our wedding last April. He was absolutely amazing. We had a mixed group of people at our wedding including alot of my family who do not speak english.Dave incorporated my roots perfectly by having a good mix of APPROPRIATE Spanish music as well as a good mix of the oldies and today's music. Everyone was up dancing and really having a good time. We had so many compliments. Dave knew our budget and really gave us the most for our money. We also asked Dave to create a video montage while we danced with our parents and it was beyond our expectations. We highly recommend Dave.

Living in Florida made it very difficult to plan a wedding in NJ. I have had some experience with DJs in the past and I can't say I was ever completely satisfied. DTR came recommended by a friend so I gave them a shot. We went over the songs we wanted and how we wanted things done. I'm not a DJ so we didn't try to micromanage. We gave Dave and Jay the go ahead to go with the crowd. It just couldn't have gone any better. It isn't just about what we thought of DTR but also what our guests thought about them. Our guests were not exactly all the dancing type but everyone was dancing and couldn't stop raving about the DJs. When you hire a DJ, you don't want any complications and you want the DJ to sound great. Well DTR delivered and we highly recommend them for your wedding or other events

If your in the market for a DJ look no further! We used DTR for our wedding and there simply isn't enough time to applied Dave for his amazing work. Growing up my father was a DJ going into our wedding I had extremely high standards on what we were looking for. Dave not only met my high expectations but exceeded them. I grew up in this industry and Dave is the best of the best. My husband and I both have very loud and energetic families. My biggest fear was that they would not be up on the dance floor. There was not a Single
Moment from the start of the reception to the end of the night when the dance floor was empty. We had family who never even sat down to eat. Dave kept the energy alive all night long. The song transition was perfect. There was never a song that cleared the dance floor.

We also opted for the photobooth which was a huge hit! Everyone had a blast with it! There was enough room for about a dozen people to squeeze in! At the end of the night they had taken all of the photo strips and arranged them in a photo album for us to take home thah night along with a thumb drive of pictures.

Seriously, stop reading reviews and just call and book DTR!

I hired DTR Productions for my wedding and Dave was great! Prior to the wedding, he met with us and was available by phone to select the right music and make recommendations. We had a mixed crowd with varying tastes in music at the wedding, and DTR played a perfect selection. Music has always been important to me (I was planning the music before anything else!) and was so happy with DTR. Would highly recommend DTR for weddings!!

These guys gave me the BEST night of my life!! No other DJ service can hold a candle to what they do! They are professional and are committed to delivering exactly what you want! You get what you pay for

This review is specifically for DJ Pete. Overall he was fine but we had an issue and I dont feel like it was handled properly. Our DJ introduced us by the wrong names (by the groom's parents names) and then started rambling off the names of the rest of our bridal party until he finally read off our first names. Never addressed or apologized and at the end of the night when he approached me for a check I asked if there was a discount for announcing us wrong (half joking) and his response was well I got it right eventually. I get that mistakes happen but I was disappointed that we didnt get the introduction that we asked for... Mr & Mrs Connet and no apologies. Our venue overheard the whole exchange at the end of the night and they apologized multiple times bc they had recommended this dj service to us. I was told by dj Dave months ago when we booked that he was offering a lower price bc we were a smaller wedding... now I feel like we were sent a fill in because we paid a lower amount.

Dtr dj dave - worst dj ihave ever met

I would never recommend this DJ to my worst enemmy. I paid $800 for a MC that was never there and bc my day as the bride was so busy, didnt complain once, except when i asked the DJ what happened to him after our honeymoon. He said he got sick so i sent him homme. Customer Service? NO,,,refund? NO
Then DJ Dave was playing too many slow songs so i asked him "to stop playing so many slow songs". His exact words: "Stop taking so many photos". What does the bride taking pictures have to do with spinning records?? He as absolutely the worst vendor at our wedding and all of my guests complained to me. I spoke to DJ Dave about this, and he said i was "splitting hairs". He introduced our wedding party into the reception by first name...not 'and welcome the parents of the bride or son of the groom....He threw a cardboard box of glow sticks onto the dance floor - if i had the MC that I paid $800 for, perhaps he could have handed those out. I am so highly disappointed and wish the negative comments from my guests would end as it has been 6 weeks sonce our marriage. I am no longer pissed off but disappointed he didnt reach out to me and apologize for not having the MC there and had he even mentioned refunding me, i may have turned that offer down because he would have appeared honest. He did not.
