As the owner of DSM Dance Party DJs, I’m incredibly proud of the team we’ve built and the care that goes into every event we’re part of.
What matters most to us is preparation, understanding the couple, the space, and the flow of the day so everything feels natural and well-paced. From the planning process through the final song of the night, our goal is to support the event without ever making it feel forced or overwhelming.
We work closely with couples, planners, and venues to make sure communication is clear and expectations are met well before event day. That way, when the celebration starts, everyone can relax and enjoy it.
Being trusted with weddings is something we don’t take lightly, and we’re grateful for every couple who allows us to be part of such an important moment. -

I can’t count the number of weddings I’ve attended that were incredibly dull. I’ve always been a groomsman, never a groom. Despite this, I genuinely enjoy celebrating my friends’ weddings. And let me tell you, there’s no better time to have a great time than with DSM Dance Party DJs. They have everything you need: lights, sound, and a dance floor. I’m surprised my sister didn’t just hire them to plan the entire wedding if they consistently deliver such excellent performances. -

Call Marty if you are considering ANY sort of social gathering (weddings, Mitzvahs, Proms, Private Parties, etc) . Marty will talk you through your entire event. He asks the right questions. DSM Dance Party delivers. Music, dance floors, lighting, staging, they can do it all. -

We hired Riley from DSM Dance Party DJs and he did an outstanding job! We had a small private wedding prior to our reception, so it was important to get the flow of the night done correctly for our guests to feel like they were a part of the wedding. We were so unsure of how to make this work until we had our month out meeting with Riley. He helped us create a format that was fun and interactive with our guests. We also had live music at the beginning of our reception prior to our arrival, and the artist also complimented Riley and said he was so awesome to work with. Riley provided his equipment for the artist and helped setup.
A hood DJ is key, and we are so happy with our decision to hire Riley! Our guests had an incredible time and the dance floor was always packed. Fantastic DJ/MC
Denis was absolutely amazing! He was extremely professional, and we loved the way he interacted with our guests. We received a multitude of compliments about the DJ, and how well he carried himself.
On top of that, he kept the dance floor going the entire night! We were really hopeful to have an active dance floor, and it was incredible.

Marty McFly of DSM Dance Party DJs always provides innovative, unique, custom music and lighting services for any events they have serviced for us from welcome receptions to fashion shows and our "Ultimate New Year's Eve Gala Foundation Celebration & Fundraiser!!! They worked with us to provide stress-free DJ, audio and lighting services. The music was an engaging and one-of-a-kind experience based on our audience tastes and personalities. They offer everything from personalized lighting to custom DJ booths and even wireless microphones and always had everything under control the whole event. Special thanks to the dedicated team that assisted in planning to make sure the music was everything we were expecting and more!!!

We used DSM Dance Parties for our wedding in August. We originally booked with Devon (DJ Cowboy) and we were so excited for him to be there! Unfortunately, Devon had some personal issues and was not able to make it to our wedding last minute (totally understandable). I was informed the night before the wedding, which was already really stressful, but the company told me they would send Marty, the owner, in Devon’s place. They made sure to tell me that they would do me the favor of not charging me Marty’s rate, which was double what Devon would have charged…. Which is crazy to me because why would that even be a thought, that we would be charged more for something out of our control? Fast forward to the next day – wedding day, and everything was going really well until reception. I almost got the vibe that because Marty knew he wasn’t going to make what he normally collects, he just didn’t care as much about our night, almost like he was too good for this. He was not very personal and didn’t take the time to even get to know us one bit. I’ve been in a few weddings and usually the DJ has more personality to them, typically you want someone lively to be able to start the party… As the dance floor opened, Marty approached me and asked if they could play off of my playlist, the one that me and all my bridesmaids spent hours curating. I was so preoccupied with everything else that I just said yes, and he proceeded to play songs that not many people enjoyed and it kind of killed the vibe. It really sucks because typically the dance floor should be lively and full, granted it was hot out so I know that could also have been something to do with it. Although, I had many people come up to me after the fact and tell me that the DJ experience was lacking. I’m just so disappointed in the experience, and I just know Devon would have killed it that night instead! Again, overall, I just got the vibe that Marty thought he was too good for the night.DSM Dance Party DJ's's reply:

1. Last-Minute DJ Change: We understand the stress caused by last-minute changes. While Devon was unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we sent Marty, our most experienced DJ, to ensure your event received the utmost professionalism and expertise. We did communicate the difference in rates to clarify that no additional charges would apply to you.
2. Playlist and Music Selection: We honored your curated playlist but noticed it wasn’t resonating with the crowd. To keep the energy up, we made adjustments after consulting with your event planner. We regret if this approach didn’t meet your expectations.
3. Interaction and Atmosphere: As a professional team, we often work closely with event planners to ensure everything runs smoothly. While this may have limited direct interaction with you, we were focused on executing your vision behind the scenes.
