Where do I begin with DJ Mike!! I knew DJ Mike was going to be my wedding DJ since three years ago after I saw him at a bar DJing during a bachelorette trip that I went on. DJ Mike was super excited when I booked him and remembered me after that night when I went i went up to him at the bar and said "youre gonna be my wedding DJ." He traveled all the way from Charleston for our wedding. He came on time and was ready to party with my family!! He kept the dance floor rockin until the end and all my guest loved him!! I can't recommend him enough for your wedding!!

DJ Mike Tech is such a great dude! He was very professional, helpful and on time to our wedding. Our wedding was on Oct 18, 2024 at the Admirals House at Riverfront Park and it was lit 🔥 When I say EVERYONE was on the dance floor I mean everybody….. We had the best time of our lives that evening. I have ppl calling me telling me this was by far their most favorite wedding. And I know Mike had a lot to do with that😊 Thanks Mike for showing up and showing out. We love ya bro!

April Wedding 2024 - BOOK DJ MIKE TECH!!
I booked DJ Mike Tech for my wedding last month and he absolutely nailed it! Everything from the time of booking to the big day was seamlessly done. He communicates well and will answer any questions or address any concerns that you have. He will give you access to a DJ app where you and your partner can list all of your songs for the day from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The song files are easily synced with Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. My best recommendation is to allow him to have creative freedom as well. He reads the crowd well and will not allow your wedding to be boring at all! He will play those crowd pleaser songs but he's not afraid to bring out the club party music either which IMO is the absolute BEST!

We HIGHLY recommend DJ MIKETECH and Drop The Mike Productions! We had a great experience at our wedding, just as my sister did at hers a few years back. Mike is an awesome guy and great at his job. He was great at playing the songs we recommended and chose great songs in addition that all of our guests loved. He made our wedding the party that we wanted it to be. DJ Mike and his team were AMAZING!!! We knew that having great music was a make or break to having a memorable reception. We searched through A LOT of music options and were provided Mike’s number through another DJ. We went down to listen to him perform at a club in Charleston and were immediately sold. His professionalism with us was second to none, he remembered little details which always impresses me, nailed our music choices, and made the music selection process a breeze. And most importantly, he kept our guests dancing until the event shut down. We also used him for our photobooth and also received some awesome sparklers that are going to look amazing in our photos!! There were a couple of standout vendors from our wedding, and DJ Mike was one of them. We are still receiving great feedback from guests!

Leading up to wedding day, communication was excellent when I got stumped on songs for big moments, there were right there with the perfect suggestions. On wedding day, his team was on time, professional, and completely prepared! We had the best time and they were right with us along on the dance floor with us. He was very comfortable on the mic and with what he does. The best wedding MC I have experienced (and not just because it was my wedding!) Boston here, We came to Charleston on a mission to party down south. We had a very young destination wedding and wanted to get “wicked” on Halloween weekend. DJ mike played banger after banger my bridal party did not leave the dance floor the entire night. DJ Mike was professional, punctual and was one of our favorite vendors! We also rented his photo booth add on. Our guests loved it the photos and boomerangs went right to their phone. No printouts getting lost or dealing with a live person. DJ has an amazing app you plug all the songs you need for ceremony and specialty dances, so easy and organized. DJ Mike worked with me to create the best walk outs for bridal party his voice was exactly what we needed. Stud. The only problem I have is that I can only leave these guys 5 stars, when they deserve WAY more!!!!! I met DJ Mike back in February at a bridal expo in Savannah, GA. I knew instantly that I wanted him and his crew at our wedding. They were so nice and had such a fun personality. DJ Mike was super easy through the whole process and always quick to get back with me on any questions I had leading up to the actual wedding date. 12-05-2020 was the BEST day of my life and I owe a lot of it to these guys. My ceremony music was perfect, he mic’d up the preacher and groom so our guests could hear our vows and then..... the party started!!!!!!! I absolutely love to dance and that’s what I wanted!!! DJ MIKE & his crew threw it down! Playing everything we wanted to hear, talking on the mic to get the crowd going, and joining us on the dance floor! (Let me tell you, those boys know how to WOBBLE! Haha)
All of our family and friends raved about how awesome our DJ was, not only with the dancing but our photo booth as well. Such a blast!
We’ve seen Mike DJ at several of our friends weddings and couldn’t help but to want him and his crew to accompany us at our very own wedding! As always, Mike is on time, he’s entertaining, he is professional and even better he makes you feel as if you’ve known him your whole life and is one of your long lost best friends. Mike created a seamless ceremony for us and followed all of our instructions to a T and even mic’d up our officiant! Even though we were running behind on our timeline Mike kept the party rolling and was great when it came to interventions! To end the night he joined us out on the dance floor and was the ultimate hype man. We can never get enough of him and hope to celebrate with him more in the future. October 2020 Wedding
Literally the only thing people talk about from my wedding 4 weeks ago is the DJ’s and I’m not even mad about it. These guys are everything you want and more for your event! The way they interact with your guests is priceless and they will get everyone up and dancing! My 81 year old grandma danced her ass off and still talks about how much she enjoyed these guys. They made sure to meet with us several times before the wedding to get songs and details finalized so everything would be what we want. We got to know each other a little bit and it made the fun at reception that much more meaningful- we feel like these guys are part of the family now! They danced with us and cut up with everyone and really just MADE our reception! Extremely talented and super nice guys- go book them NOW!

Mike was AMAZING for our September wedding. He uses an app for customized playlists which was sooo convenient and easy to use, and allowed us to contribute and add songs anytime we wanted. He was so accommodating and even ONE HOUR before our reception, he was fixing a playlist error caused by the groom. Loved loved him and would recommend every time. Mike even got out there to show us how to dance to the Wobble!! He made the evening great!

DJ Mike was AMAZING!! stop looking and just book him. DJ Mike was incredibly professional, replied within minutes (or seconds) of texts, and had us dancing all night long. As I was planning my wedding, I was told numerous times that the dance floor I had booked was too big, so I went with a smaller one. Welp, DJ Mike had so much of the wedding dancing at the reception that we moved tables twice to accommodate everyone!! Also, he gives you an app where you can upload all of your songs and if you don't finish (like we didn't), he knows how to make sure there's a party. You cannot go wrong with DJ Mike!

Are you tired of the typical cheesy laptop DJ’s? Do you want a party like no other? Do you want the best wedding ever? Look no further my friends...DJ Mike Bowman is next level.
I got married October 5th in Hilton Head, SC and my guests still keep talking about how epic the party was...the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night!! Young and old alike...everyone simply had blast dancing the night away. Guests were wiggling in their seats during dinner ...I’m telling you, we made the absolute best choice picking Mike and I would pick him 100 times over.
He is super organized and gives you an app to use to request music and sort them into categories (prelude, recessional, cocktail hour, dancing, sparkler exit, etc.) super sweet and responsive. We planned a destination wedding (as we live in NYC) and he made the process super easy. We were able to fly in to meet him in person 2 months before and he was so accommodating and confident, driving out of his way just to meet us and walk the venue with us. He nailed every detail during the night too ...ceremony music, introducing us as a couple, organizing toasts, etc. and... IT WAS A PARTY. Let me tell you. It wasn’t just letting a song finish and the next one starts by pushing a button ...he is an actual DJ guys...mixing music, beats fading into the next song. It was FIRE and a night we will never forget! Thank you Mike for making our day so special and fun!!

He was very informative and has great rates! He came out to the venue with us a month early so we could figure out the best layout for both the ceremony and the rehearsal. On the day of the wedding he had everything set up so perfectly! He had given us this app to upload the songs we wanted to use for the certain parts of the night and it made my planning process so much easier! I have gotten so many compliments from our friends and family for the music of the night. If I ever have another event in the Charleston area, I will absolutely be calling Mike again!

DJ Mike Tech was a huge hit at our wedding in April! He's extremely professional and started setting up early. All of our ceremony music played on cue, and once the dancing got started, everyone was out on the floor! DJ Mike Tech is a must for your special day! He kept the momentum going throughout the reception. He assessed the crowd to ensure that all our guests were having a good time with the right songs being played at the right time. He took requests from the crowd and kept the mood lively and hype all night. He was easy to work with, addressing all of our needs. He was very timely and very professional. He sent us the latest app for uploading our song selections for the special moments in our reception timeline that we could all follow along with. Though we didn’t send the app to our guests, it also has a feature which allows your guests to upload special requests that can be played. Our guests requested directly to him, in which he was very flexible and made sure the guests were happy. I highly recommend using him for your wedding or any other celebration need. Micheal Bowman(DJ MikeTech), owner of Drop the Mike productions played the ceremony as well as the reception music for my daughter's wedding and reception on August 4th and all I can say is that it was "Lit" from start to finish! DJ Miketech was great! He called me a few days prior to the wedding to go over details which definitely gave me more peace of mind. He played the music I asked for, was fun and entertaining, interacted with our guests, and even got on the dance floor (which everyone LOVED). I wanted specific ukulele covers for my ceremony and was thinking that I wasn't going to be able to use them because they were on YouTube. When I hesitantly asked, he said no problem at all. We admittedly did not have a traditional wedding, and yet Mike was totally flexible and able to just run with it and make our reception a lot of fun. The majority of us haven't danced that hard since we were teenagers (pretty sure I'm still exhausted!) and he was totally worth every penny.
We were given the task of sending over some "must play" songs, and he stayed true to our style and kept the party going!

My husband and I really enjoyed our night and the guest seemed to as well! The music never stopped and the dance floor stayed full! I will recommend D.J. Miketech to anyone that asks! We could not have asked for a better experience for my son's wedding. With Mike you get more than just a DJ; he takes the time to ensure that all of the elements of your wedding fit together, including the microphones for the ceremony, timing, up-lighting and music to match all the other elements of your wedding. He is professional, creative, and so much fun to work with. Mike’s passion and commitment to his couples was evident. Mike checked with us again a week before the event to settle the details of our song list, ensure he had the names of our wedding party correct, and check all the timing for the reception. He could not have made things more easy for us and provided suggestions when needed based on what he knew about my son's personality. On the day of the wedding, Mike worked with the venue, DOC and officiant to ensure that everything was timed out correctly. He checked in with us several times throughout the night to ensure that everything was going to plan. Whenever we talk with our friends and family, they comment on what a great time that they had at the reception, and that is largely due to the party that Mike put on for us, Granny was even on the dance floor! Mike is everything we could have hoped for and more!

Mike was great! He was referred to us so we were not familiar with his work. The videos online gave a sneak peak, but they paled in comparison to the actual experience. The music, the lighting, the vibe was everything we had imagined. The dance floor was always full & everyone had the time of their lives. He played classics, current songs & everything in between. He was able to get people we least expected to dance, even my husband for about 2 minutes. We will recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ & he's now our personal DJ of choice.

Dude... Epic DJ. Miketech killed it on the dance floor from shag, club, 90s, to anything you could ever ask for. I didn't know some people in my family could even dance, much less try to dance battle me haha. My aunt came up to me after everything and said, "you make sure to tell that young man that he was great, and tell him it's coming from an old lady". I'll recommend him to anyone that wants to see people cut rugs like you've never seen before.

Thank you for your professionalism and being an all around upstanding guy. Second, I can't scream loud enough how AWESOME he is. DJ Mike Tech came highly recommended from another trusted DJ that was already booked for my client's wedding but honestly, he was the BEST decision ever made.
Mike is professional, easy to work with and just made the evening go incredibly smooth. I was beyond happy with everything and I know my clients feel the same way. Mike just made the wedding simply perfect. All the guests were so impressed and throughout the night l kept hearing comments from everybody about how great he was! Everybody was on the dance floor the whole entire night and his song selections were perfect especially in how he catered to the various guests attending the wedding. We are so thankful that DJ Miketech swooped in at the last minute and saved our wedding day! Our friend-of-a-friend DJ fell through the week before the wedding, but after talking with Mike just FIVE days before the event all of my worries about having a fun party vibe were assuaged - he not only told us to relax and let him handle the music, he took our preferences to heart and played the BEST mix of music for our reception! We loved having DJ Miketech as our wedding DJ. He had the reception dancing the entire night. We wanted to throw a party and Miketech helped us accomplish that. He was very accommodating and wanted to make sure things were exactly what we wanted. We met with him before the wedding and corresponded with him multiple times after to make sure our play list was what we wanted. His prices are amazing for what you are getting. I was lucky enough to have DJ Miketech at my wedding. My sister had him at her wedding and he was so good!! Everyone loved him and he is so easy to work with...so of course I wanted him to perform at my wedding too!! It's difficult to find someone that is talented and reliable...so if that is what you are looking for then you will find it with DJ Miketech!

I was lucky enough to have Mike DJ my wedding a few weeks ago. A month prior I was at a wedding where the DJ was terrible, so I was genuinely worried about the same happening to me. When I found out Mike was going to be there, my fears were instantly gone. He played the perfect music to set the vibe we were going for during the dinner portion of the reception. And then he PUMPED IT UP and had everyone dancing! I think the only time I stopped dancing that night was when I was so exhausted there was fear of me passing out. On top of being a great DJ, Mike also has the charisma one needs to be a successful DJ. No one wants a square playing tunes. You want someone who's a fun as the music they're playing. 10/10 would jam with Mike again!

We had the absolute best time at our reception thanks to great dancing music put on by DJ Miketech. Everything flowed according to plan and it was a party from start to finish.

Unapologetic, Unprepared and Unprofessional
We decided to hire DJ Mike on May 2019 for our September 2019 nuptials. We were excited for his attentive demeanor to cater to our mixed culture playlist. He suggested a Vimo app to ensure our top songs were played. Unfortunately, we realized it would be the worst decision ever. Dj Mike left our wedding during the cocktail hour without notice leaving his unprepared and unprofessional alternative DJ Cue to dj and mc the reception. When confronted, DJ Mike stated he notified our wedding planner which was false as he described a random person even though he spoke several times face to face with our super attentive wedding planner. Dj Cue was so unprofessional and unprepared from start to finish. DJ Cue introduced my wife and I as the wrong surname, my mother in law ended up stepping in as mc since DJ Cue began playing random songs from genres not listed on our vimo app and even initiated a verbal attack on our groomsmen whom had to set up the reception since DJ Cue was too clueless to put the proper plugs in the speaker outputs to prevent sound backfire. Dj Cue refused to play our exit song, and also told my father in law to pay $20 to request a song. It was so bad, I contacted Dj Mike as soon as we got back to the resort on our wedding night. After discussing the events, Dj Mike agreed to return half the contract price since even his mother said he should take responsibility. We still haven’t received the compensation for running our special night. Dj Mike has been dodging phone calls and Cash App requests. If I could repeat the night, I would’ve told DJ Cue to pack up and leave. Even the workers of the venue asked us if there was anything they could do as my wife was crying in a corner due to the embarrassment. Worst DJ EVER!!! I really hope you do not ruin anyone elses wedding Mike! Lying Snake!!!
