We had an amazing experience with Dreamwood Films for our wedding photography and videography and would highly recommend them. From the very beginning, everyone on their team was super responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Wedding planning was so stressful, but they made this whole part of the process so much easier for us. Anytime we had questions or requests, they got back to us quickly and were always willing to accommodate us, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. On our wedding day, the team we worked with, Anna and Farit, were absolutely amazing. They made us feel comfortable, told us exactly how to pose, and made everything feel natural. They captured all the moments that mattered most to us and brought such a great energy throughout the day. We also received our photos and videos much sooner than we expected, and we were blown away by the final results. The photos were beautiful, the video edits were incredible, and they really captured our day perfectly. We’ve been rewatching everything over and over because of how happy we are with it all. We’re really grateful we chose Dreamwood Films and would absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a talented and reliable wedding photography and videography team. -

We went with Dreamwood in 2025 in the Southern California area. We had a great experience! We worked with Alexandra (photographer), Yaro (photographer), and Alexander (videographer).
We didn't know our exact photographers when we booked - within a week they introduced us to the person who would be coordinating our team, who we met with several times to show them our preferred style, request specific shots, etc. They finalized the team of photographers/videographers we'd be working with about a week before our wedding, and we met with the whole team as well. (however, I'm sure if you asked before you booked, they could tell you the specific names of photographers you'd likely be working with, and show you their past work). They followed nearly all of our requests! The nice thing about companies like this with many photographers is that, in a nightmare scenario if a photographer gets sick or something, another can sub in (even if they might not know all the same background info).
The photos and videos were absolutely beautiful! The photographers were extremely experienced and knowledgeable - they got the lighting perfect, and knew how to time the shots throughout the day to get the ideal lighting. Sometimes they could've been a bit better at telling us how to pose, though.
Communicating with them was very smooth and was handled via an online portal. We had a staff contact at the company (separate from the photographers), as well as the emails and phone numbers of all the photographers.
We were able to give feedback on the photo & video editing, with 1 round of feedback being included in our package with as many comments as we needed to give. Further rounds of edits carried an additional charge; but luckily, we were very happy. (there were some comments from round 1 that weren't fully fixed, which they fixed at no charge)
The booking team was happy to negotiate on the specifics of the package. With some haggling, we were able to modify the package to remove the bits that we didn't care about so that we could reduce the price a bit. We also got a discount by booking before the new year.
For $7000, in Southern California in September, we got:
- 2 photographers & 1 videographer for 8 h
- 800+ edited photos, plus photos from video
- 4k drone footage
- 12-25 min of raw video
- Three edited videos: 1 min, 3 min, and 15 min -

Professional, Patient, and Truly Listened to Us
Great team of people! We loved their portfolio and style capturing the video and photos. We had a specific vision for our wedding that was not very common — it was a traditional Pakistani cultural wedding — but we wanted to have it culturally and traditionally filmed & classy.
This was our biggest concern, but Dreamwood ensured us that they would do their best to capture our biggest day the way we wanted. On the day of the wedding, the team arrived on time and were very professional. The team guided us with the pre-shoot, especially Lisa, who was wonderful. As a shy individual myself, this is very important — they made me feel comfortable enough to pose for photos and videos, which is something very hard for me to do.
The wedding day was full of schedule changes and planning, but the team adapted. While I was stressed and running around trying to bring everything together, Dreamwood did not reply to me much beforehand, which was concerning since they hadn’t experienced our cultural wedding before. However, they went out and captured as much as they could, and even created special moments.
I saw all of the final material I received, and my wife and I could not be happier. The editing team was also amazing. We did need a meeting to go over the material, but regardless, they listened to our notes and gave us exactly what we wanted. -

From the very first call, I was sold. After speaking with so many other companies, Karina was the first person who truly understood my vision. She was quick to reply to emails, sent a clear quote right away, and made me feel confident in choosing their team. I’ll admit, I was a little nervous knowing she wouldn’t be the photographer or videographer herself — but any worry disappeared once we started planning.
About two weeks before the wedding, we were finalizing the timeline, and it was a lot — multiple photo sets, timing changes, and last-minute adjustments. The team was incredibly patient and helpful, walking me through how long each part would take. We went through several timeline revisions (which I’m sure was not easy on their end), but they never made me feel like a burden. They truly wanted everything to run smoothly. They were even flexible enough to adjust my coverage hours when I realized I needed more time on the day of.
Come wedding day, Anna and Farit absolutely exceeded every expectation. Anna, our lead photographer, showed up and showed out. She captured the detail shots beautifully and somehow managed to be everywhere at once — always present, always capturing the perfect moments, even ones I wasn’t there to see. Farit, our lead videographer, worked seamlessly alongside her. Together, they made the entire process feel effortless. They had everything set up perfectly for the rest of the night and blended into the celebration while still catching every moment.
Just five days after the wedding, I got a sneak peek at some of the content, and I was in awe. The photos are absolutely amazing — truly worth every single penny. If the previews were that stunning, I can only imagine how breathtaking the final edits will be. These photos and videos will last a lifetime, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to capture our day. -

We’re so happy with our wedding video!!! The quality was stunning and they captured all the special moments perfectly. After receiving the video I requested edits and they made the changes exactly as I wanted, I was so impressed! Out of all my wedding vendors Dreamwood stood out the most in that they were the most responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. They would reply immediately and really listened to what I envisioned for my wedding video. They are easily one of the best decisions I've made for my wedding. I wasn't sure about having a videographer at my wedding initially, but I'm so so glad I did since it's so important to capture those reactions/moments during your big day. -

Choosing Dreamwood has been the best decision my fiancé and I have made for our wedding journey. Even though our wedding isn’t until May 1, 2026, I couldn’t wait to share our experience from our engagement shoot because it was nothing short of magical.
From the very beginning, the Dreamwood team went above and beyond. They not only provided recommendations to help us bring our “old money” vision to life, but they also put so much care into every detail, from the planning process to the shoot itself. Our photographer and videographer spent hours with us, making sure every single moment was captured. They guided us with poses when we needed it, but also caught those rare, candid moments when we were just being ourselves.
What touched us most was how personal the experience felt. They didn’t stop at our main location (the iconic NYPL), they captured us strolling through the streets of New York and even in our hotel room, giving us timeless, elegant photos that look like they belong in Vogue (and my friends and family keep saying the same!).

We loved how our wedding video turned out amazing! Leading up to the wedding - they were professional and responsive. We can look back on our wedding day in awe. Everything was captured beautifully. Cinematography and the editing was on point. I felt like we got the most value for what we paid for. I want to say to express my sincere gratitude to Mikhail for powering through 9 hours of shooting without a break. Our timeline was delayed due to the fault of the venue. This meant that our sparkler exit wasn’t going to captured on video unless he stayed past his scheduled hours. Instead, to ensure my husband and I had our sparkler exit captured on video, the vendors, including Mikhail, decided to not go on break so we could complete our wedding timeline. We understand it was a long day for him and he truly did not have do this. We truly appreciated him doing so. We totally recommend Dreamwood Pro!

I model for work so when I saw Mikhail & his teams work i just had to have them for our wedding! I new they'd be professional and know exactly what to do! I didn't need to give any direction or ask for certain details. Theu had it all covered and were so kind, polite and professional! It was a long day and theu never lost their magic! Even if they were tired they were on top of every shot! We are so grateful for them! Highly recommend for a very professional experience! -

Choosing a wedding videographer is one of the most important decisions you make for your big day, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Dreamwood Films team was beyond phenomenal, and they deserve every bit of praise we can give.
From the moment we met them, it was clear that we were in excellent hands. They were incredibly kind and exuded a fun, positive energy that made us feel instantly comfortable. Their warmth and enthusiasm were infectious, making the entire process of filming a joy rather than just another task on our wedding checklist.
One of the standout aspects of their service was how they managed to blend seamlessly into our wedding day. Their discretion was impeccable. They captured all the beautiful moments and intricate details without ever intruding on the celebration. Our wedding was in Sonora, CA on 9/9/23. Anyone who was in the area that weekend should vividly remember the very powerful thunderstorm which was not in the forecast, even the morning of. One of the 1,000+ lightning strikes knocked out all power in the county from before 5pm until 5am the next morning. To say filming our wedding was difficult would be an understatement. Yet, the Dreamwood team somehow managed to produce beautiful footage. My husband even teared up while watching their work! Considering the “material” they had to work with, they pulled off a miracle. They even took initiative to stay an hour later since everything had been delayed while we figured out what to without any tent and a single barn that was set up only for dinner!
We also are so grateful for the extra touches and professionalism. They were so easy to work with, made recommendations for additional shots to our photographer, and we really appreciated the still prints they sent with the memory stick.

Mikhail did a wonderful job capturing our wedding day. He was able to create multiple different videos of various lengths in addition to the documentary video. He also provided raw footage available in clip formatting, as well. He also provided an opportunity for us to request any changes to the videos before finalization, and when requested, was open to working on making sure we were happy with the final videos. As part of the package, he provided a beautiful box filled with printed photos taken from the videos, and a usb hard copy of the videos in addition to an online hyperlink in which we could access the videos and raw footage. Overall, we appreciated him and his team and all the wonderful work. -

Dreamwood Helped Us Re-live Our Wedding Day
Wedding move fast for the Bride and Groom. For my wife and I, this was no different. Thankfully, Mikhail was there to capture every moment for us from beginning to end. Looking back at our wedding video, I found myself filled with emotion at how beautiful the day was and how well the video captured it. It was like I was teleported back to my wedding day.
We appreciate Mikhail's attention to detail, allowing us to see our special day from a different prospective. His professionalism continued after the wedding as he was very responsive to our needs and really wanted to make sure that any suggestions or requests we had were fulfilled.

Mikhail did a stunning job with our wedding videos. He demonstrated real artistry, framing every shot with intentionality and precision. He was punctual and professional at every meeting, and most of all on the day of our wedding. We received our videos right when he said we would, and they came out looking fantastic. His work paints the whole day in a cinematic, uplifting light that really captures the romance of it.
We met Mikhail on Zoom so he could explain his process and give us a run-down of what the full thing would look like, and he walked us through what he would be doing on the day. He laid it out clearly for two people who know relatively little about cameras, and it made the whole thing seem a lot less intimidating. Until then, I was still on the verge of questioning the need for a videographer, but he explained how much it would add to our post-wedding experience, and he was absolutely correct.
On the day of the wedding, Mikhail was on time, professional, and very focused on his work. He coordinated clearly with us, our wedding planner, and the other wedding vendors we’d hired, and never got in the way of other aspects of our wedding. While we were getting ready, he was getting impressive drone footage of our venue, and it was really cool to see the results later. Most of the time he was invisible, but he put us and our celebration front and center. He did have a hard out, but he was very clear about it upfront, so that wasn’t a problem, just something to be aware of.
The edited videos look superb: smooth camera work, professionally edited, and they come with a free round of edits if we want them. Overall, Mikhail did a fantastic job, and we’d recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer. -

Do you want a dreamy wedding video that is top tier quality? Do you want to work with the sweetest individuals who go above and beyond for the bride and groom? Book with Dreamwood. I am overly impressed with my engagement video, my wedding photos, and wedding video. The amount of time the company spends with the couples is unbelievable. They made me feel like I was their only clients. They make a personal webpage for you with all your photos and videos on it. They even print the photos for you and send them to your home. The team learns as much as they can about the couple and then tailors the photo/videos around that. My wedding guests were so impressed with my photographers because they were running around capturing every single moment. We had drone, extra cameras, and four photographers. Top notch service. Wouldnt trade it for the world. I am so happy with the final product and I want a future bride to be as happy as I am. -

I was very hesitant at first when I found Dream Wood Productions online after an extensive search online of a team that offered both video and photo package. There work looked amazing and too good to be true, never in my dreams did i think we could afford them. the work on their website photo and videos are impeccable. I left my contact info and I was contacted very quickly, next day. I was in Hawaii planning my wedding that would take place in CA. I am so happy I went with my gut and hired Mikhail and his team. He is so nice and very professional. His editing and all work he does is top tier. He showed that every step of the way. I love everything he did for us and let him do his thing. I appreciated that he asked if we had any music preferences or wanted anything changed. My answer to him was always no because I was always impressed. Mikhail was the most professional videographer ever!! I honestly felt like a movie star all day! He knew exactly what he wanted and what the vision was. Then I'll write this: by a fluke, the creation of our wedding video got into the hands of these wonderful, talented, open, bright guys - Lucy and Michael! It's been more than a year since that day, and we are steadily reviewing our film. Michael is not just beautiful, he touches to the depth of his soul and makes you experience those emotions more, more and more .. the most pure and sincere emotions that the children were able to capture so skillfully. I could not even imagine that our love is so beautiful, and still our photo session, at dawn .. simple, easy, and sensual. My husband said that this was the best dawn in his life! I am immensely grateful to you and this gift of destiny - to work with you! -

A sense of pride for Dreamwood, love for each other and the island ... Our dear L and M could see and feel US really and deeply. And this track in the video is after all the beating of our hearts! We love it! Very cool dynamics, atmosphere, and selected music. Like moments, looks, and the ending even after 100 viewing makes the heart start! Very cool! Copter did his job and that is great! It's great that it was possible to place it all as though the whole day in three minutes. From morning to such a beautiful sunset! And my errands on the grass did not stay aloof. Everything is very beautiful. It lets us relive the day :) The photos are very high-quality; the color is stunning! We chose to print photo-paintings in a very large format for our wall, and they are adorable.

I went into this contract believing it was a great value. Just remember that you get what you pay for. We paid $2200 hundred dollars for photo slides and a wedding video. We have to download and print our own photos. They added background music to my reception that I didn't approve. I wasn't even asked if there was a music selection that I would like.
When I emailed to ask about getting photos printed. I didn't even get a response. The female photographer who came up to my hotel room to take photos of me getting dressed wasn't even friendly. No wedding poses were offered for our wedding photos.
I am not happy with how the process took place. My advice would be to pay more for your photographer and get what you want. We are not pleased at all. I do not recommend this business!

I usually never write reviews but I feel like this needed to be said. I had chosen Dreamwood based on our first call with them and their portfolio. We were very particular in the look that we had wanted and was promised flexibility in terms of the editing style. Despite having great communication, the day-of operations and quality did not live up.
Firstly, our coordinators had given our media team a heads up that they needed to be with us on the party bus going from the venue to our shooting destination near the beach. This was to avoid parking issues as we had a very short window to get all of our shots. However, they took off before we could realize it and were left waiting for our photographer to find parking which left us with about 20-30 minutes to rush through our shots. Our coordinators had dialed their emergency line to figure out where the photographer was but noone had picked up. The beach photos were the most important to me and I can’t help but feel robbed of them looking at the photos now which is not a feeling you want towards your wedding photos.
Second, the editing on our photos did not live up to expectations. I had sent a shot list beforehand with many examples and despite two rounds of edits, I am still unhappy with them.
Someone also had reached out to me after our wedding and informed me that they tend to hire local photographers/videographers. You will most likely not be getting the same quality of work that is seen on their profile.
All in all, if I could go back, I would not choose Dreamwood as our media team. This was the biggest regret when it came to our wedding and I hope this review helps future couples make a more informed decision before making the investment.
