Added even more beauty to my wedding

Dr. Vanessa was great from the beginning! Getting into contact with her was so easy and her response times were always prompt. We were able to decide everything within a couple of emails! Before my wedding, Vanessa checked in with me about my wedding color scheme and what to wear. Even though I didn’t particularly have one, I really appreciated the thoughtfulness!

On the day of the wedding Dr. Vanessa provided us with heavenly sounds. My mom told me she began weeping before I was even in view because of the beautiful harp music! It added a special touch that doesn’t always transfer with prerecorded music.

I would highly recommend Dr. Vanessa for your wedding! It will feel like a dream 💫

A magical day with Magical music!

Dr. Fountain, with her harp, made our entire experience wonderful and beyond perfect. She is punctual, flexible, and a musical artist. She's the best!

Vanessa is amazing! She's quick to e-mail and takes calls, which is huge for us because we're BIG on communication. She laid out everything she can do and offered to do some custom covers as well. she's FANTASTIC! Happy to recommend her!

The perfect addition to any ceremony

Dr. Fountain’s playing was probably the thing that people raved about the most in terms of my wedding. The ceremony space was already so ethereal, and her music was just the cherry on top! From our first interaction, she was professional, responsive, and incredibly nice. Once my wedding producer took over, he told me the exact same things about her, and how she was the easiest vendor to work with. Thank you, Dr. Fountain, for helping me to create a day that was beyond what I dream of as a little girl.

Rivera 2021 Catholic Ceremony

Vanessa was wonderful in every aspect! Her music list was perfect!! I had last minute music changes, and I was so stressed, but Vanessa was completely flexible/professional and adjusted. Talented harpist!

For a backyard family event (25th wedding anniversary), Dr. Vanessa Sheldon played the harp during our cocktail hour and was absolutely superb. Very talented and professional, she set the perfect tone for an elegant evening. I deeply appreciated that she also provided a list of songs in advance to customize her performance, and was also willing to take requests or learn new songs in advance. Great to work with and smooth communication!

The Perfect Addition For A Whimsical Wedding

Vanessa's performance at our wedding was everything I imagined and more. She played for both our ceremony and the following cocktail hour. She showed up in a beautiful dress appropriate for our black tie event. Her white harp was breathtaking to look at, and her setlist added the perfect touch to provide the whimsical tone we were looking for. Many of our guests came up to my husband and I at the wedding to compliment us on the fantastic decision to have Vanessa play for us. My only regret was not having a chance to chat with her on the actual wedding day. Vanessa was extremely organize and professional to work with during planning. Hire her! You won't regret it.

Dr. Vanessa Sheldon at Memorial Service

Vanessa did a great job for my family. She played at the memorial service for my mother, as well as all through the reception following. She was great, very entertaining, and was flexible. Also, she was easy to deal with, stayed calm and collected throughout the event, and had to deal with other musicians. I would recommend her highly and would use her again myself.

We are so grateful to find Dr. Vanessa Sheldon. We were trying to plan a wedding in California & we live out of state. She was amazing to work with, she would always respond to my emails in a quick manner, helping us to put all the details together. She sent us a list of songs to choose from which had such a wide variety that it covered our ceremony & cocktail hour perfectly. We only requested one song not on the list & she learned it for our ceremony. She also at our request found a violinist to accompany her at our wedding which alleviated us from having to search for one. I would recommend her for any wedding. Who knows if my other 2 girls decide on a destination wedding I will be calling her again:)

We had a Hawaiian theme for our wedding. Dr. Sheldon sent us a long list of music titles from which we could select the music for our wedding. It included classical titles, Broadway Show tunes and other categories of music. She played our favorite, "The Hawaiian Wedding Song" so beautifully. Our guests commented on Dr. Sheldon's musical selections provided for all musical tastes AND set the tone of OUR wedding. Her beautiful white wedding harp added to the beauty of our wedding day! We will call her again for another party.

Vanessa was the harpist for our outdoor wedding in La Quinta. My parents had a harpist at their wedding and we thought that it was such a unique idea. She did about 5 songs for the prelude, 2 for processional (one for myself and one for wedding party), and 1 for recessional - she provided a list of beautiful recommendations. She was very responsive and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend her if you want to add something special to your ceremony!

Dr. Sheldon is a spectacular harpist! She was so accommodating of our song requests including playing a custom orchestral piece that my now husband wrote for me when he proposed - she only required that we provide a lead sheet. It was absolutely beautiful and made our ceremony that much more special. She played everything from Glass Animals and Sneaker Pimps to Katy Perry and David Bowie and did it flawlessly. She was very easy to work with through the planning process and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

Dr. Vanessa Sheldon played at our backyard wedding ceremony. Being the bride about all the music I heard myself was going down the aisle, but our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful her music was! I have a very unique style of music and it took months of searching for a harpist that could play EDM on the harp. When I found Dr. Vanessa Sheldon I was so excited! she was able to play Dash Berlin, Tiesto, Calvin Harris, 3lau, and much more! She was also able to adapt to the rain that was going on during my cocktail hour.

Dr. Vanessa Sheldon did an amazing preformance at my wedding last weekend. All of my guest kept commenting on how beautiful she played. She even was willing to learn a specific song for our first dance. It truly made my wedding perfect.

Throughout the booking process, Dr. Vanessa Sheldon was very professional. She got back to me quickly and was willing to answer any question I had. I would love to have her preform again for a event.

We engaged Dr. Vanessa Sheldon to set the mood for our Celtic themed Christmas party. And, relied on her discretion regarding the selection of music. Her selection was perfect and we and our guests were amazed and delighted at the music flowing from her Celtic harp. We recieved numerous compliments from our guests. Vanessa was friendly and professional; a pleasure to work with. All we can say is that it was a privilege to have such poise and talent grace our home that evening. Dr. Sheldon was the harpist at our elopement wedding in Palm Springs. She was very professional and very responsive and worked with our small budget. We selected some songs based on her website and she played every single song we requested.

Dr. Sheldon is a young and lovely professional musician. I have taken classes from her and thought it would be a nice idea to have her play the harp at my next gathering. She sent me a list of pieces to select from. She was punctual, set up her equipment and began to play. All my guests enjoyed her music and it helped to make the evening a little more festive. She was very easy to book and we conducted it all by email.

Dr. Vanessa Sheldon is a consummate professional musician. She is quick to respond to your requests, gives expert suggestions, arrives on time, provides beautiful music and will make your event "spectacular" in the words of our groom. Vanessa performed at our wedding ceremony and reception, and my husband, our guests, and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting her and listening to her music. She was extremely accommodating to our song selections, provided us some great recommendations and ideas, and was extremely professional.

Wonderfully happy with Vanessa's help at our wedding, now almost 5 years ago! I have hired her for other events as well as referred her to friends and she even played at my sister's wedding as well. I especially liked the fact that she allowed me to pick a number of songs that were probably not typical wedding songs and she made it work. Easy to work with but very professional at the same time.

Best harpist ever - Hire Dr. V!

We were so fortunate to find "Dr. V", harpist extraordinaire!! She is so talented, a consummate professional while also being so intuitive and friendly. Due to Covid, everything was last minute and she worked with me (bride's mom) seamlessly. Guests raved about the music. It was exquisite. One of the touches that was so special was when she played "twinkle, twinkle little star" to the bride's 9 month-old baby when she was brought out for the family photo session. Our grandchild was fascinated; I was holding her and it's a moment I'll cherish forever. Dr. V also went way above and beyond and took photos from her unique position, through the harp strings, of the bridal party prior to the ceremony. Dr. Vanessa Fountain, "Dr. V" for short, has a stellar background and is a uniquely gifted performer who also delivers a very personal touch. The cost was the same as other harpists in our area. I recommend her wholeheartedly and with no reservations. If you want beautiful music played on a beautiful harp by a truly accomplished professional, hire Dr. V!

She was able to play a very special song for our ceremony that didn’t have any sheet music available. That was really wonderful although I did have that expectation due to her expertise.

Dr. Vanessa Sheldon is the epitome of a classical, well trained musician. From the moment my fiance and I spoke with her, we knew she was perfect for our wedding! We had a small intimate ceremony in an orange orchard in Palm Springs. Dr. Sheldon provided the whimsical sounds of the Celtic harp which added to the over all feel we were trying to convey. Very accommodating and professional, Dr. Sheldon worked with us and played the songs that we requested. Even up until the last minute, when we requested one more song, she was able to make that request possible. We could not have asked for a better musician.
