As a father of the bride, my wife and I couldn’t have been more pleased with Dr. DJ Productions! The wedding dance is the culmination of a memorable day and it surpassed all our expectations. Nick was courteous, professional and extremely well prepared. He took the time to know the pronunciations of all the bridesmaids and groomsmen for the reception entrance, and the dance went exactly as we had planned when we met with Nick earlier in the week. He kept us informed on what dances were coming which helped avoid any delays or down time. The evening flowed seamlessly!
In addition, the lighting and volume were outstanding! I was worried that the audio level would be too high, but it was clear and played at the right volume that best suit the venue (Sterl Hall in Abilene).
Nick, thanks doesn’t seem sufficient for making our daughter’s day extra special, but from the bottom of our family’s hearts, THANK YOU!

DJ/MC made our Wedding go seamlessly!
We loved our experience with Nick, Sam, and Jaren with Dr. DJ Productions! Nick was our main line of communication which he was always quick to answer any question. Sam was the DJ/MC at our wedding/reception. He was outstanding! Queues were spot on, everyone loved the music, and the dance floor was never empty! Jaren ran our phot booth and was able to get people in and out in a timely manner. Also, our guest loved that they were able to have as many copies of the photos as they'd like. They were a great team, we would highly recommend!! -

Wo loved having James as our DJ. He got the crowd alive and kept the party going. Throughout the night we had guests coming up asking for his information for their own upcoming weddings! Would highly recommend!! -

Wedding DJ
Our experience with Dr. DJ Productions was great! They responded to all of our questions in a timely manner and made the entire process easy. Before the wedding they had us complete a simple questionnaire with all of the songs and dances we wanted to have, as well as ones we wanted to avoid, and they followed through on everything perfectly. Our DJ for the reception and dance, Jaren, was very personable and great to work with. Overall we were extremely pleased and would recommend them to others! -

Just had my wedding, didn’t meet the dj until wedding day and I couldn’t be more impressed! My day was stress free and he communicated well with us about how we wanted the night to go. He was friendly and kept the party going. He even stayed to help clean after!
Party lights and sound system were very fun. Provided a mic for the officiant, was able to play music outdoors at the farm with no problems! -

The music at our reception was fantastic. It was the right balance of songs we requested/requests from guests on the night/music chosen by the DJ to keep the atmosphere lively. There wasn’t a point that a music change interrupted the flow. -

Picking a DJ for your wedding is the biggest decision, as they control of your reception. Dr. DJ Productions was the best choice we could have made! They made everything flow so smoothly and kept in contact with us throughout the night! They traveled further than their normal area for us, and we appreciated everything! Their photo-booth was a great add on and awesome to look at our photo album from them! We are 100% happy with their services! We even asked them to stay an extra hour cause everyone was having such a great time! Thank you for everything, Dr, DJ Productions! -

The Dr. DJ production service was great! They were very prepared and had great communication before my wife an I’s wedding. The Dj they sent out was set up and ready to go with a lot of time to spare. He was very professional and knew how to relate to our crowd and made it fun for everyone. They bring all their own equipment which saves you a lot of headache. The speakers they used were more than adequate for our venue. We had a few live music performances as well during the course of the night. All of which went great and our DJ had all the equipment we needed for our live performances. We enjoyed our experience all around, and we appreciate the layer of magic they added to our special day. -

We used Dr. DJ Productions, LLC for our wedding reception. For those who are looking for a simple review let me just say this: HANDS DOWN THE BEST DJ SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN!!
For those of you who are like us and scour every review, here you go:
From the beginning, Nick Morgan (owner of Dr. DJ Productions, LLC) provided us with a detailed outline (with examples) of a typical reception. This was fantastic as it helped fill in any gaps we were unsure of or might have forgot otherwise. Nick responded promptly to any questions we had and accommodations we asked about. The pricing was well below other services (so much so it almost gave us pause). We had checked with previous customers, all of which gave rave reviews, so we decided to go with them.
A few months out we had an issue with the venue for the ceremony and decided to move the ceremony to the reception venue. We worried that Dr. DJ Productions, LLC would not be able to accommodate the change since our original contract had been for the reception and not the reception and ceremony. Once again Nick was more than understanding and advised this would not be an issue.
On our “big day” Sam, the DJ for the event, showed up well before the time outlined in the contract and set up his equipment. At this point Sam coordinated with the best man, matron of honor, and the photographer and introduced himself to us (separately of course ;-)). Everything was flawless through the ceremony including our exit. At this point the wedding party left for outdoor pictures and our guests moved their chairs from the ceremony side to the reception side of the venue. The area where our ceremony had taken place became our dance floor. Unbeknownst to us, this is where Dr. DJ Productions, LLC and Sam really began to shine. Instead of simply sitting back preparing for his role in the reception, Sam assisted with moving chairs and other various small tasks in anticipation of our return.
After our return and introducing the wedding party, we began to eat. Before we dismissed everyone to eat my husband had a surprise up his sleeve, he had got a fancy apron to cover my dress and then lobster bibs to cover the wedding party. This was of course to be funny but also practical since we were having a messy meal. My husband had coordinated with the DJ to make sure everyone got to see him and his little joke of the wedding party. This may not seem that important, but it allowed the photographer to get some amazingly funny photos and our guests a good laugh (all in good fun of course).
Most, if not all weddings we have been to, the DJ sits back and does his own thing providing ambient music during the dinner. Not Sam. Having been to many a weddings in our time, we wanted to assure the DJ had time to eat before his “busy time”. We had our best man advise him to join the wedding party in the serving line. Sam politely refused and did not join until being forced to by the best man. It wasn’t until about halfway through eating that we noticed that Sam had scarfed down his food and was CLEARING PLATES FOR OUR GUESTS. Let me say this again our DJ was not just proficiently providing ambient music, making sure we stay on track for the reception but also clearing tables for our guests. I could throw 20 other little things in that Sam did that was above and beyond “his job” but the problem is he did them so effortlessly and humbly that we probably didn’t catch even half of them. I sincerely believe that Sam went above and beyond, and not to get a good review or a bigger tip, but to assure our day was the best day possible.
The rest of the evening went as follows. Sam kept us and the wedding party on schedule and when we got off schedule, he gently advised of how to get back on schedule. Once again this may not seem like much but considering we only had the photographer for so long and some of our most important guests were older we wanted to make sure everyone got to experience all the typical reception events. Sam was professional while being fun and also rolled with the punches when we did unplanned things. An example being when my husband chased down the best man instead of tossing my garter. At the end of the evening, Sam made sure we didn’t need anything no less than 3 times before leaving. We spoke to Nick a few days later as a follow up and to pay the balance due (we were well within our budget for the wedding however had we not been this is a well appreciated curtesy as we could have used gift money instead of out of pocket money). When speaking to Nick, we advised him on how great Sam was. The owner was happy to hear this, but not surprised. This was not a one-off occurrence. In summery let me say this, if you’re looking for an adequate, good or even great DJ service look elsewhere, but if you’re looking for an EXTRAORDINARY DJ service then give Dr. DJ Productions, LLC a call. -

5 STARS! This company was absolutely phenomenal. Our DJ kept the dance floor full all night long, transitioned the entire night along seamlessly, and went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding night. I highly recommend and am certain that they will take care of all your needs! -

We hired Dr. DJ Productions for our wedding reception and to say he was amazing is an understatement! He did everything and more for us! He helped coordinate our timeline and made sure my day ran as smooth as possible. He continuously checked in with me as well which I really appreciated. He also took song requests throughout the night and no one left the dance floor. It was a blast! Dr. DJ Productions was very professional, nice, and did excellent work. I cannot rave about him enough. AND he is reasonably priced. I would recommend him to any and everyone I know. Give him a call!! You will not regret it. Thanks again Dr. DJ Productions! -

Special shoutout to Sam who played all our special requests, kept guests informed about what was happening next, and kept the dance floor hopping the whole time.
