Our experience with Downtown Collective was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we booked them to the last song of the night, they were professional, accommodating, and incredibly talented. The band created an amazing atmosphere, and our guests were on the dance floor all night long. Their energy and ability to read the crowd were exceptional. We received so many compliments from our guests about how great the band was. They truly made our wedding day unforgettable. The best dance floor experience at a wedding, hands down! The atmosphere The Downtown Collective creates is truly unmatched. We could not have asked for more and cannot thank them enough for pouring so much energy and time into our bid day. We have heard countless compliments from people who were at our wedding that it’s the best band they’ve ever heard. We will be recommending them to anyone who wants to listen! The absolute best!
About a year before our wedding, we saw Downtown Collective perform live. They were AMAZING, and we knew immediately that we wanted to book them for our big day. They were so great to work with throughout the planning process and made everything so easy for us!
The band members are all incredibly talented, have the best energy, and kept the dance floor packed all night. Our guests LOVED them! We couldn’t be happier with our choice to book Downtown Collective and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an awesome band! We had The Downtown Collective play at our wedding and they were wonderful. All of our guests kept saying, “Where did you find this band!?!? They’re awesome!” You all made our day even more amazing and we had so much fun. I’ve never danced so much in my life. You all are so very talented! Choosing Downtown Collective for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Cornell, the guy in charge, was awesome to work with. He made everything easy and really cared about making our day special. When the decision was made to host a large wedding, one thing was certain—I had to secure the Downtown Collective Band. Little did I know, this choice would transform our evening into an unforgettable celebration! The buzz about 'the band' still lingers, with friends and family actively brainstorming events just to have an excuse to book them.
From the moment they set foot on stage, it was evident that they were not just performers but true professionals. Their polished appearance set the tone, and the unexpected delight of dancing with our guests between sets added an extra layer of engagement.
What set them apart even further was their proactive approach. Arriving at the reception, I felt an immense relief knowing they would expertly MC the event, ensuring everything flowed seamlessly according to plan. Their regular check-ins, filled with minimal questions and assurances that everything was right on schedule, demonstrated their commitment to excellence.
Opting for the package that included a photo booth turned out to be a stroke of genius. The booth became an enormous hit, surpassing all expectations.

Long story short, the Downtown Collective is fantastic. The best wedding band I have ever seen, and you should hire them yesterday for whatever even you're planning.
We had seen them play at a friend's wedding and new we had to ask if they could play our wedding. They drove 8 hours and played a fantastic show with passion, soul and skill despite all the travel. Nearly everyone stayed until the last song just to have one more dance which is something I have never seen before. I can not recommend them enough, if you want a band with energy, ability and improvisational ability look no further. They have a bead on the crowd and will adjust a setlist in order to keep the party going all night.

Downtown Collective
Our wedding day was beyond amazing, and a huge part of that was because of hiring the Downtown Collective! Over two weeks later our guests of all ages are still talking about how amazing the band was, and a lot of them saying how they have never had an experience like that at a wedding. They fit in perfectly with our venue, and every member of the band and variety of all music by the band and dj was spot on with the dance floor packed all night. They were so easy to work with and experts at what they do, with the perfect mix of bringing the party with the highest level of class. But the DC is so much more than a band.. they MCed the whole evening and kept everything running smoothly from the grand entrance to the last dance and everything in between. Worth every penny! Guests also commented it was like having the Secret Service in charge. The photo booth was also a huge hit with tons of fun memories to keep. We are already saying we should have an anniversary party and have the DC join us again. Packed dance floor for 4 straight hours!!!
All I can say is WOW. Couples - RUN, do not walk to get this band booked for your wedding day. In fact, you should just change your date if they’re not available on your first choice. There truly is no comparison. They were high-energy, amazing sound quality, organized, checked every box for every request I had, and they kept the party flowing perfectly. Our dance floor was absolutely packed for more than four straight hours. We even added extra time because I just wasn't ready to leave. Even during their BREAKS, the band members were on the floor dancing with my guests!! I’ve never had so much fun in my life. They had to drag me and my husband off the floor to go cut our cake because I didn’t want to leave for even one song. I still can’t get over how amazing they were. Absolutely perfect!!! Perfect Wedding Band
I had the pleasure of having TDC perform at our wedding, and they were absolutely fantastic! From the moment they started playing, they had everyone on their feet and dancing the night away. Not only did they nail all the classic wedding tunes, but their ability to adapt to different musical styles and genres was impressive, ensuring that everyone had a great time.
The communication with the band leading up to the wedding was seamless, and they were very accommodating to our requests. They truly added that extra special touch to our celebration and created unforgettable memories for us and our guests.

Best part of our wedding
The Downtown Collective performed at our August 2023 and they were phenomenal!! Ether, Cornell, and the whole band are extremely talented musicians who thoroughly enjoy performing and playing fantastic music. Every team member has a genuine smile when they perform, and they do such a good job of feeding off each other’s energy. The band played a variety of different music ranging from oldies to the latest pop hits. They even learned a completely new song for our last dance of the evening, which was very special to us.
Everyone in attendance raved at how wonderful the Downtown Collective was! The acoustics and lighting were perfect and their ability to adapt to the crowd kept everyone on the dance floor all night. We have never seen so many people on the dance floor at the end of a wedding.
The whole booking process with the Downtown Collective is straightforward and they did an excellent job responding to any questions we had. If you get the chance to hear the Downtown Collective perform, don’t miss out! We’ve heard them perform about a half dozen times and they continue to amaze us each and every time! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! They are absolutely phenomenal - our dance floor was packed the whole night. People are still talking about how fun/amazing the band was at our wedding. They are absolutely phenomenal - our dance floor was packed the whole night. People are still talking about how fun/amazing the band was at our wedding. Best night ever
Downtown Collective were absolutely amazing! From beginning to end they were wonderful to work with and made the night a blast. They went above and beyond. When my family member was unable to sing during the ceremony, they had their female lead vocalist step in without missing a beat. I was so impressed! We had so many guests tell us the band was GREAT and took the reception to whole new level. I’m very glad I was able to book them and would do it again in a heartbeat. Every single member of the band was lovely and I will never forget how special they made our night!Downtown Collective were absolutely amazing! Downtown Collective played at our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding. They were super easy to work with, responsive and very professional. I requested a song for them to learn at the wedding reception and they did a phenomenal job! They provided music for the wedding ceremony as well. Cornell was the MC for the wedding and he kept the itinerary on track. He had a fun ice breaker activity too. Every member of the band was an incredible musician. They have a huge song selection as well. They know how to read the crowd and adjust the playlist accordingly.
We had many positive comments from guests at our wedding. If you are thinking about music for any event, book Downtown Collective! They're eager to make the mood right for YOU. We off-handed mentioned we liked a trombone part in a musical - they ensure there was a trombone at our event. We casually said we liked the Guardians of the Galaxy - they learned a song from the soundtrack.
We were consistently impressed with their attention to detail, passion for the work and their perfect blend of professionalism and pure fun.
This was a big ticket item for us within our budget and we have absolutely zero regrets. Worth every penny and we would do it again.
