We had our wedding at Downingtown Country Club, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was handled with care, professionalism, and attention to detail.
The staff was absolutely wonderful—friendly, organized, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our day was perfect. They made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free, which meant so much to us.
The value was also incredible. The pricing and wedding packages were very fair, especially considering the quality of service, the beautiful setting, and everything that was included. We also really appreciated their solid backup plan in case of rain—it gave us peace of mind knowing that no matter what, our day would go on seamlessly.
The food was another highlight—our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! On top of that, the parking situation was easy and convenient, which made things simple for everyone attending.
Overall, we are so happy we chose Downingtown Country Club for our wedding. They truly helped make our day unforgettable, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing team behind it.

Terri and her team went above and beyond to make our entire wedding experience not only stress free but the best day we could have ever asked for. Terri was so communicative and responsive to our inquiries leading up to our big day and was always so warm and comforting in person. Downingtown has everything you could ask for in terms of decor, options for a memorable cocktail and dessert hour, pretty views for photos and a very professional staff. We were so well taken care of on our wedding day. Our guests made many great comments about the food and day. -

Downingtown was a joy to work with from start to end. Their team of experts were communicative and made us feel both celebrated and understood the whole way through! I was definitely a bit of a Type A bride, with really specific lists and requests. They never once made me feel nuts or like they didn't know or couldn't do what I was asking for. Our actual wedding day was BEAUTIFUL and we received SO many compliments on the venue, food, etc. Their package is also amazing! It includes a ton! I couldn't recommend this venue and these people more! -

Anniversary Brunch
Downingtown Country Club (Bridget and her entire team) were the BOMB. I am a wedding photographer, and we chose this location because it was center for both families- we all were traveling about 2 hours. I didn't have time to stop by or do a tasting, or any of the normal other things. Bridget was SO accommodating and helpful in selections and working with our menu. Because I'm a wedding photographer, I asked to do a lot of my decorations and day of I asked for a few things additional (sweetheart table, etc) and they delivered. The staff was wonderful and sweet. SO worth the money and the venue is gorgeous. -

For Terri/Kristie: Where do we even begin!? Terri was amazing from the moment we met in 2021 leading up to our wedding in October 2023! She was so informative, always there for any questions/concerns we may have had and always made us feel like the most important couple! She’s extraordinary at her job which made our wedding day run so smoothly! I didn’t have anything to worry about the day which I loved! I was assigned a day of concierge named Kristie who helped me with anything I needed, she drove the golf cart for us to our photo spots, kept me calm before my first look and made me feel at ease with everything going on that day. She also stayed with us up until we left the venue and gathered all our things we might have left behind! Her and Terri kept our drinks full, they brought us our dinners and made sure we were doing okay the whole night. They both made our day perfect! Thank you so much! ~ The Sheaffer’s
The Venue: From the moment we talked with Terri and she gave us a tour we knew this was where we wanted our wedding. We looked at a couple of other venues before coming to Downingtown Country Club and none of them compared. The atmosphere, the staff and the surroundings were just a few of the reasons why we loved this place so much. We loved that there was a backup plan in case of rain, but thankfully we didn’t need! Their food is phenomenal and their chocolate room is to die for, I wish we could have another wedding just to come here again and do it all over, we will definitely recommend the venue to anyone we know who is getting married! -

My husband and I, recently got Married at Downingtown Country Club, and they were amazing throughout the entire process. Terri and her team are wonderful! They make the planning and wedding day process so smooth and stress free, and always get back to you in a timely manner. The venue itself is beautiful and the food is delicious with lots of options (we had a buffet style dinner). Our guests all raved about how great everything was and how friendly the staff were. My Husband and I are so happy with our wedding experience at Downingtown Country Club! -

Downingtown Country Club was a dream come true for my husband Nik and I!
You can look at a million different venues as we did and you find what is best for you, your budget, your style and your vibe, and when we walked in to Downingtown and saw all they had to offer it was a perfect fit for us. We got married on the beautiful September 1st, 2023 and it simply was our best day ever! Working with Terry and her amazing staff to make our day exactly what we wanted was seamless and they all molded around exactly what we wanted!
It was the best experience and they made everything run a smooth as ever! That day we got thousands of compliments and we continue to~ on the beautiful location, the good food&drinks (taco bar, delicious dinner, chocolate indulgence room everyones favorite) and most of all a GREAT time had by all! Our day was filled with amazing family, friends, and the people who have made a difference in our life, and we are so happy that we shared that a Downingtown country club. I think one of the biggest and Amazing things for us was seeing our vision come to life with our bridal party of 35, having our ceremony outside and then the reception room, making it exactly what we wanted filled with disco balls and fun. Every single one of our guests enjoyed themselves, and I know that it was the perfect fit for us to have our day at Downingtown. We appreciate every single person at DCC who made our day so perfect and run absolutely seamless and we can only hope that you have just as a perfect day as we did at this amazing venue, Downingtown Country Club thank you for making our first day of forever the best!!! -

The Downingtown Country Club is a force to be reckoned with. It offers EVERYTHING you could want in a venue. Beautiful scenery? Check. Gorgeous brick paved ceremony space? Check. Incredible food choices and a cocktail hour and dessert room your guests will continually rave about? Staff that make your wedding day run smoothly? Check and check. Also, the price point!! You cannot beat what you get at Downingtown and they offer MORE than most venues!
First off, Terri Hughes, the venue/wedding sales manager is the epitome of what it means to love your job. Terri has been in the business for a while and is the shining jewel of this club. No matter how many questions or small changes we made, Terri made it happen. She really put us at ease and made our timeline run flawlessly. The bridal concierge, Kristi and Kristina, always seemed to appear out of thin air when I needed them most, whether it was to feed me hors d'oeuvres while I was getting my dress bustled, lifting my train while walking through the grass, or just offering words of encouragement. Thank you all!!
Another compliment to the chef for creating meals that we all LOVED. The crab cake was so flavorful, the steak nicely cooked, and the salmon and chicken were hits among our guests. Also a HUGE thank you to him for being able to modify the menu for my husband’s grandfather so he could enjoy his entree without worrying about his many dietary restrictions.
We will recommend this venue to anyone that is getting married. Thank you for making our wedding planning so easy and going above and beyond for your clients! -

Downingtown Country Club was an incredible venue. Terri, Kristina and the rest of the staff were super helpful, professional, and kind from the time we booked this as our wedding venue all the way through the actual day of our wedding. Whenever we had any questions, they were always super responsive, and also were super flexible in scheduling things such as the tasting.
For set-up, all we had to do was drop all of our signage, table numbers, etc. off at the venue when we went there for rehearsal and then they set up everything on the morning of our wedding. They also collected everything for us after the reception and allowed us to just pick it up late the next morning. We felt so taken care of and like we could just enjoy our day/night. The venue itself is beautiful with lots of flowers, especially since our wedding was in the summer. Kristina was extremely helpful with holding golfers while we were taking pictures with our bridal party, and her and Terri both made sure everyone knew where they were walking, standing, the order of both, etc. for the ceremony so it went really smoothly. We also had one of our best friends from college officiate our wedding and it was the first one he had ever done, but Terri was wonderful with easing his nerves and giving him all the confidence he needed to do such an incredible job on our big day.
The cocktail hour and ceremony were both inside, but the set-up was still so gorgeous. They have an outdoor patio area that is open during the cocktail hour that our guests love. The food was delicious and we had so many people complimenting how good it was during and after the wedding. The staff did a wonderful job helping us keep up with our timeline of events for the ceremony so that we could get to all the dancing and fun on time. They also were quick to clean up any drinks or glasses that dropped or spilled keeping everyone safe to dance the night away.
We cannot say enough good things about Downingtown Country Club along with Terri, Kristina and the rest of the staff. Our wedding was better than we could've ever imagined and we highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married!

Everything & So Much More
It has been almost 1 month since my husband and I said "I Do" at Downingtown Country Club and I still have no words for how amazing of a day it was! We fell in love with the venue immediately, but had no idea at the time how big of a role this venue would play in making our day what it was. The staff at DCC were so much help throughout the entire process. Having a staff that was so organized and knowledgeable really helped us and put us at ease. On the actual wedding day, my husband and I felt so at peace and were able to just enjoy our day because the staff took all responsibility in the operation of the day. We truly felt like the staff went above and beyond for us, not because it's their job but because they truly cared about making it the best day for us. In addition, our favorite aspects of the wedding would be:
1. How beautiful the venue was. My dream was to get married in a beautiful location, and DCC definitely did not disappoint. Luckily it did not rain and we were able to get married outside and take photos on the golf course. I seriously cannot wait to get the photos back because I know they will be beautiful.
2. The food. We did stations and I am not exaggerating when I say that our guests can't stop talking about how great the food was!
All in all, I would definitely recommend this venue to any couple planning a wedding! My husband and I now have a lifetime of amazing memories to look back on because of DCC! -

The best decision you’ll ever make
If you don’t book with Downingtown, you will HIGHLY regret it!!!
I had my wedding there 6/3/23. From the moment we met Terri on our tour, we knew this was the place for us. As a same sex couple, she immediately made us feel comfortable. She was open about the flaws in the system, but honest and willing to adjust, change, adapt, and make things work for me and my wife. This was a huge difference from some places who tried to force us into a box we just don’t fit in. Immediately, we fell in LOVE with the bridal suite (which is absolutely gorgeous), the billiards room, the ceremony pergola with the waterfall, the beautiful ballroom and patio, and of course, THE CHOCOLATE ROOM.
But truthfully, the best thing we learned is that the people running your venue can literally make or break your day. Terri was our superhero !! Throughout the entire process from tours to tastings to detail meetings, Terri was sweet, inviting, and happy to do anything that would make us happy!
We also had our rehearsal dinner there - run by Kristi and went so smoothly. We had our dinner right after and our server Sadie was incredibly sweet, attentive, and kind to all our guests. She managed to serve 25 people quickly and the food was incredible!! (And affordable - which is super important when you’re paying for a wedding haha).
On the day of our wedding, we were greeted by Becca, who was incredibly kind and patient. She helped set up literally ALL of our tens of thousands of boxes of decorations, and staff with her were working tirelessly. Oh.. AND! She helped me meet RON JAWORSKI HIMSELF!!
Then of course comes Terri - even in the midst of some family things, she made us top priority. She was running around making sure everything was absolutely perfect for our day. Flash forward, our florist forgot to decorate our arch and Terri, in about 5 super fast minutes, comes out with another floral arrangement, runs around pulling our colored flowers, and creates a beautiful arch out of thin air. She literally saved the day!
And of course, Kristi. Whatever they are paying this girl, it should probably be doubled. Kristi was like our silent hero. She left us alone when we needed it, but LITERALLY the second I needed something, I would turn around and there was Kristi, ready to make it happen. She helped me shoo off the super early guests (she makes a great but not very scary bouncer), she bustled BOTH of our super complex dresses in lightning speed cause nobody from our guests could figure it out, she kept us calm and reassured even when we were running behind on time, oh and she makes a pretty great golf cart driver for our picture time!! I actually don’t think I could sing her praises any more or this review would be a novel.
In summary, Downingtown feels like home. In the most scary day of your life, you are surrounded by a beautiful but not intimidating venue, unbelievably kind humans, and the best staff you could find. (By the way, they turned over tables and reset the cocktail space like LIGHTNING. It was impressive to watch). Like I said, if you don’t pick Downingtown, I think you will highly regret that decision. It was the best choice we could have ever made.
Our guests sung the praises of the food, the drinks, and the entire location. PS- pick the crab cakes. You won’t be sorry! -

Megan & I feel in love immediately with the venue. Mrs. Hughes and her team were excellent throughout the whole wedding experience. The country however has its own beautiful simplicity that made our day the perfect little fairytale. Our guest are still talking about our wedding. I must say I would like to run it back myself. After touring this venue and seeing the grounds and scenery I knew this was my venue! I wanted somewhere where I could have the ceremony outside with nice scenery in the same place as the reception and this was that place! It was easy working with Bridget in the beginning but then it switched to Terri midway through and she was a pleasure to work with. She understood everything I wanted and brought it to life. My husband is super picky and wanted a burger and fries for his meal and that is what he got on our wedding day. I wish I could relive this day over and over again. I did not eat much because I just did not have an appetite that day but everyone said how good the food was! I highly recommend Downingtown for anyones wedding! -

When we started planning our April 2022 wedding, we initially chose a different venue. We forfeited our deposit elsewhere after meeting with Terri at Downingtown. I literally cannot say enough good things about her and her team. She was very quick to respond to emails when I had questions, and scheduled several meetings throughout the process to talk about things in person to work through all of the details together. The venue itself is beautiful - I was so glad to have such beautiful weather, allowing our ceremony to be outside. My bridal party got ready in their bridal suite. Their package has a set time, but Terri was able to accommodate us to arrive a few hours early so we could get our hair/makeup and get dressed there. We took all of our photos onsite and they turned out stunning. They don't plant flowers until a week or so before Mother's Day, so the gardens were still bare, but their grounds are so well kept and have such beautiful landscaping that it didn't make a difference. Their pricing is very reasonable, and you get so much out of the package - upgrades are so worth it too! I have a sweet tooth, so I was excited to hear that the Chocolate Indulgence Room is included in their basic package... too bad I spent the whole night dancing to even taste a single sweet! Terri also let us extend the dance floor. I have a big family and lots of people who love dancing, so I knew we would need the space and she certainly delivered! 2 weeks before our wedding, our DJ sustained an injury that prevented him from being able to spin our wedding. Terri was there for us through all the stress, and flexible when we had to change the plan! All in all, if this venue is on your list, DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK! Let me preface this review by saying I was the worst, out-of-town bride. I am very go-with-the-flow and wasn't too stressed out with the planning process. Amber and Terri are two angels on Earth. They need raises. I started a new job during the process of wedding planning, and they made sure I was up to date with all of my "wedding homework". They were able to get our tasting squeezed in on a weekend we were in the area (we live 3 hours away). They made sure we had our vendors in line and had suggestions for vendors if we needed them (which we did). Part of our wedding party was able to make the rehearsal due to travel, but Terri and Amber made it work. They were so attentive on our wedding day. The champagne was flowing all morning while the girls got ready. I'm scared to even ask the guys how their "getting ready" process went, but I know they had fun, too. We were a rowdy crew. It was FREEZING while we took our formal photos before the ceremony and Amber made sure to bring me some much-needed adult beverages to keep my nerves down (and to keep me warmed up). This angel took the coat off her literal back to warm me up. We were greeted with champagne post-ceremony with our bridal party and parents to have a "we did it" moment before cocktail hour. These fabulous ladies made sure we ate and always had a drink in our hand/at our table. We've had SO many positive reviews of the food. Some say it was the best wedding food they've ever had. We had SO much fun. I want to do it again. I don't intend on having another wedding, but if I did, I would choose DCC. Thank you DCC for the most magical night of our lives -

Downingtown Country Club was AMAZING!!!! Terri was so helpful throughout the entire planning process and she guided me in ways I wouldn't have even thought of. I truly had the BEST day of my life and Amber left no stone unturned throughout the day. I was truly impressed by how attentive, on-the-ball, sweet, and patient she was (My wedding party was large and might have been a little difficult to handle). The entire day ran so much more smooth than I could have ever imagined or planned for. I'm so so happy I had my wedding at DCC. It truly is a beautiful venue and everyone still mentions how much they loved their meal. I had searched high and low for a good wedding venue, and I'm so happy that I can say I successfully found it. -

Our June 5 Wedding
Our wedding and reception at Downingtown Country Club was amazing! During the planning process, Bridget and Amber were always so accommodating with any questions and concerns I had, especially with regulations for covid changing weekly. During the wedding day, they were always right there to accommodate anything our bridal party needed. The space itself was beautiful and they went above and beyond to make our guests feel safe. The food was delicious and so many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they've been to, and we didn't hear one complaint! Highly recommend DCC for your wedding! -

Amazing Team!
The team at Downingtown Country Club is AMAZING! My husband and I started our journey with them in 2019, and we then had to reschedule our wedding from 2020 to 2021 due to COVID. The team was so easy to work with and made the process of changing dates a breeze! Bridget, Terri and Amber were so easy to work with and made all of our dreams come true for our wedding! Terri was amazing in the planning process and Amber was always close on the day of the our wedding to get my husband and I anything we may have wanted. The food was delicious and the Chocolate Room was a favorite of our guests! The grounds at the country club are STUNNING and we loved that we were able to travel around the golf course to get our pictures done. Highly recommend this amazing venue! -

Awesome to Work with!
WOW! They were so amazing throughout the whole process of my wedding. My husband and I were supposed to get married April 2020 but then had to reschedule five times. Each time they were so easy and awesome to work with. We started of with Kerry then had Bridget. The day of we worked with Terri, Amber, and Sadie! Let me tell you, you would have never known we switched people over because they made it so easy and stress free. The food was so good. We had a pasta station and 8 different butlered hors d'Oeuvre at cocktail hour. We did the signature salad with Steak and Chicken Marsala for dinner. Then had our cake and cupcakes, a whole bunch of yummy chocolate treats and ice cream for dessert. Then we had a fry and cheesesteak station to end the night. It was all so amazing. It started to rain really hard 40 minutes before our ceremony (which was supposed to be outside) and Terri and the team VERY quickly were able to move it inside and we STILL started on time!! I highly recommend Downingtown for your wedding!! -

Kerry and her team are amazing!
Downingtown Country Club was the only venue we toured. I knew right when we met Kerry/toured the venue it was the one for us. Our day was beyond anything we could have ever imagined. Kerry and her staff were BEYOND incredible. EVERYTHING, and I mean everything, went smoothly. From the second we walked into the venue to the moment we left, the staff was there to support us and guide us throughout the day. Kerry even bustled my dress for me (thanks Kerry!!!!). I would highly, highly recommend DCC for any event. The grounds are beautiful for pictures, the reception area was recently updated, and the ceremony space is breathtaking!! My husband and I can’t thank Kerry Connors, Wedding Sales Manager at the Downingtown Country Club, enough for making our day absolutely incredible! From the day we met Kerry and selected Downingtown Country Club (DCC) as our venue, through all the special events leading up to the wedding, she was great to work with. Kerry made everything as easy as possible. My husband Zach and I visited a dozen venues, and we selected DCC because of the experience they provided. From the moment Kerry sat down with my parents, Zach and I, she was so understanding and flexible. As huge Philadelphia Eagles fans, my husband was sold when he found out Jaworski owns DCC.
Not only is DCC a beautiful venue, but their staff truly know how to run a successful wedding event. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and simply a pleasure to work with. All of the vendor recommendations from DCC turned out wonderful – from the hotel to the florist to the DJ. Kerry along with two day of coordinators made our wedding day so special! Everything came off flawlessly and my husband and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Our guests are still talking about how great our wedding was from the ceremony to the food to dancing all night long. My husband and I highly recommend DCC for a wedding or any event - 10/10 rating from us!

Wedding Day
The Downingtown Country Club was an amazing place for our wedding ! the big open golf course is BEAUTIFUL for pictures & the staff is even better ! I adored the suites , the bridal party could hang out all day , get ready & pampered ! Hair & Makeup come to you which makes brides days soo much less stressful !! The grooms suite has a pool table which is great prop for photos & so you know the groom won’t be late lol . Our consultant Christina was the bomb.com (LOL) she answered all our questions & more ! I would text her ideas or questions late at night when she wasn’t working & she would still be on top of everything & answer right away ! She was a main person who made my dream wedding come to life ! If I had to do it all over again , (which I want to relive it) I would choose her & downingtown all over again & again ! The food was delicious ! We had so many compliments about it ! We also were told our wedding & venue was the best that people have been to in a long time !! -

Out of all the venues we looked at, DCC was the most affordable and offered so much in its package. Besides the delicious food, wonderful accommodations and inclusions, it came with Kerry Connors, the best wedding coordinator we could have asked for. Kerry truly made our entire experience with DCC remarkable and a day we will cherish forever. Kerry is the sole reason we ended up choosing DCC- she set the standard and made DCC stand out amongst the rest. Her personality, generosity, responsiveness, flexibility and warm nature is what makes DCC. Truly, Kerry did all the guess work for us on that day and we couldn’t be more thankful to her. -

Our experience at Downingtown Country Club was a dream come true! Kerry Connors made our wedding planning stress free, she was able to answer every question with ease. Kerry Connors and her team are absolutely amazing! She has a checklist of things that I would not have thought of to do until the day of the wedding and it would’ve been to late to accomplish. Kerry takes her job and every wedding very seriously so the bride and groom can have as much fun as possible the day of the wedding. The venue is very accommodating, allows you to bring in your own decorations and listens to you when you on how you would like them displayed. I am convinced there is nothing Kerry and her team can’t do! I hear and see horror stories of other bridegrooms going through stress to get ready for the wedding, I felt none because of Kerry’s attentiveness to detail and quick responses. She is simply amazing and talented! -

I would give this 10 stars if I could. We had the absolute best experience with this venue and with their unbelievably kind and accommodating staff. When I first started looking at wedding venues, I was overwhelmed. But all that changed the first time I spoke to Kerry Connors from the Downingtown Country Club. Kerry, at every step of the way, made me feel like her most important bride. She offered insight when I needed it but also never batted an eye on anything I wanted that was not traditional. Every little detail was perfect and exactly what I asked for. On top of having Kerry who was an absolute dream, the venue itself is gorgeous. They did a renovation recently and everything is beautiful. The outdoor space created stunning pictures for our ceremony and who doesn't want to be driven to the aisle in a golf cart?! I have been told my multiple people that the food was the best that they ever had at a wedding. We had a chocolate indulgence room that was so spectacular that my four year old room got misty eyed when I first took her in there. Plus, the wrap around porch with fire pits was perfect for our cocktail hour. I could write forever about this venue. If you are looking for a place, you need to go check out the Downingtown Country Club--- and ask for Kerry!! -

Best country club after looking at 22 venues!
When we were researching for a venue, Downingtown Country Club was the best fit for us, we also looked at 21 other venues! The staff and our wedding coordinator were amazing and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The day went absolutely perfectly and we were so relaxed. Kerry Connors, the Wedding Manager at DCC, was my right hand. I trusted her and she took care of everything for us and we could not thank her enough. I always thought I didn't want a country club wedding, but DCC was so much more and we will be forever grateful to the team for making our day amazing. -

Kim Sent on 09/30/2018Last year before setting a date for our wedding we began looking at venues in the greater Philadelphia Area, the majority of them being country clubs but a few other types of venues as well. We looked at over 12-15 venues before choosing the Downingtown Country Club. Nowhere other than the Downingtown Country Club (DCC) will you find quality of service, affordability, and most importantly a beautiful and well cared for venue. Another factor that made Downingtown Country Club stand out among other venues in the area was the staff’s professionalism and promptness to respond to any and all questions. Throughout the wedding planning process I worked with Kerry Connors, who is anything short of incredible at her job. She truly went above and beyond catering to any requests I had. I was planning my wedding out of state, which definitely makes the planning process all the more hectic, but Kerry was extremely accommodating making sure to promptly answer all questions and concerns and provided support and reassurance along the way. The menu and food at DCC was another one of many reasons we decided to go with this venue- our deepest compliments to Chef Brad who did an outstanding job on the food at our wedding, we receive compliments time and time again on the quality, presentation, and deliciousness of the food throughout and well after our reception. On the day of our wedding we had a personal attendant who was there to accommodate us in any ways we needed as well as making sure everything went according to plan and we were on schedule (something that is very difficult to do when you are a bride and get caught up talking with family and friends). Travis and I cannot thank the staff at DCC for their support and dedication to ensure that everything was perfect and just as we envisioned on our wedding day!

Gayle Sent on 09/28/2018My husband and I had our wedding reception at Downingtown Country Club on 5/19/18 and to say they did an amazing job would be a complete understatement. To be honest, DCC wasn't the top of our list for reception venues. After a visit to another venue that left us disappointed, we went to DCC to check it out. From the moment we walked through the doors and met Kerry and Joe, we were sold. Kerry is the most down-to-earth and caring person and Joe is just the same. They whole-heartedly cared about us and helping us make our special day exactly how we wanted it. Kerry was with us each step of the way (even through her maternity leave!!). Joe was always there to help us out or to walk us through whatever questions we had. Kerry was so flexible with meeting dates and times and would meet with us whenever we needed, no matter how late in the evening. On the day of, Kerry was by my side, making sure each and every detail was perfect and making sure all of me and my girls needs were met while we were getting ready. I cannot express the gratitude my husband and I have for everyone at DCC. They are a top notch group of people that genuinely care about you and your special day. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks! Heck, if we could do it all again, they would be my first choice for sure!

Victoria Sent on 09/24/2018Just AMAZING!!!! We got married on 8/18/18 and the entire day from beginning to end was PERFECT. Of course things go wrong, but the staff at DCC took care of any little hiccups, including the rain when I had my heart set on an outside ceremony! They worked triple the amount by setting up the outside ceremony site, then indoor ceremony area, then re-did the outside area after the rain! Because of the hard working staff, those little hiccups were nothing to me, and they ensured that everything was just how I wanted it! We were so lucky to have had Kerry Connors as our wedding coordinator. From the time we met her to the very end of our wedding night, she was professional, calming, organized, and just the best!!! She's so good at what she does! Every time I started feeling stressed or overwhelmed, she eased the tension by helping prioritize what needed to be done. I was not sure how everything was going to come together and look like, but it was GORGEOUS!!! DCC did an amazing job with setting up their decor and my own personal decor that I brought. John, our banquet captain was also amazing! He had everything ready for us before even being asked. He provided us with a golf cart and drinks during our first look photos (it was hot out), then the golf cart came in handy when it started raining on us during pictures! John checked on us the entire day, and he somehow knew what we needed before we needed it! Joe, the general manager greeted us every time we came in for a meeting and told us about all of the beautiful updates that were being done. He also did everything he could to make the day perfect. He was outside with the staff wiping down chairs for our guests to have a dry place to sit for the ceremony, I cannot thank this staff enough and will always remember how the amazing staff made us feel on our important day!! They made us feel like our wedding was the wedding of the year!!! Thank you to everyone at DCC!

Candice Sent on 09/24/2018I don’t even know where to begin with the Downingtown Country Club. First of all, the most obvious thing is its beautiful location and grounds. It makes for such a perfect setting for a wedding, both inside and outside. Christina and Kerry were wonderful to work with throughout our entire engagement and leading up to the wedding. They answered any question we had at any point and always made us feel comfortable and calm. They were also so accommodating with any crazy idea or decoration I had in my head throughout the whole process and set it all up exactly how I wanted it.
For our wedding on September 8th, things got a little hectic on my end, but only because the weather was uncooperative – no two weather reports were the same that morning, one calling for rain during the ceremony and another for nothing until later in the evening. Two hours before the scheduled ceremony time, Christina asked me to make the final decision, and we moved the ceremony inside and the entire staff worked miracles to get the entire thing set-up in such a short time. And I really mean that it looked like they pulled every single person who was working at the country club that day to make sure it was perfect before the first guest arrived. My personal attendant Downingtown provided, Leigh Ann, was just beyond amazing. I didn’t have a chance to want anything because she had it for me before I even realized I needed it, including food, drinks, and more. She went around with us for the pictures to make sure my dress looked perfect in every shot, and even got down on her hands and knees to wash some of the mud that had gotten on my dress while doing the outside photos. I really can’t express my gratitude for everything she did for myself, my now-husband, my wedding party, and even my parents.
The food at Downingtown was spectacular, and all my guests raved about it (and continue to two weeks later). The entire atmosphere and the wedding itself was just perfect. It was everything I could have -

I booked the venue in February of 2015, shortly before it came under new ownership. I loved it then but ever since new ownership came in it has gotten even better! The ceremony space has been updated to include a pergola and a waterfall. It's truly one of a kind and beautiful.
Kerry took copious notes to ensure that everything and anything I had asked for she remembered. She remembered things even I forgot!
My wedding coordinator was Kerry Connors and, honestly, she is a wedding angel! Like any bride, I got stressed out a few times leading up to the wedding but after any meeting with Kerry, I was instantly much calmer. She worked with me and really create the perfect day.
The day of the wedding was a blur. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate as it should have! It was cold and rainy even though the wedding was April 29. It has always been a dream for me to have my wedding outside, and Kerry knew this. So she did everything in her power for the wedding to remain outside. The rain held off and we were able to get married outside!!
I also, unfortunately, came down with a stomach virus the day of the wedding. Needless to say, I was not feeling up to par at all. Kerry was quick to assist me. She even offered to run out herself and get medicine.
Every single staff member I came into contact with was nothing but kind, professional, and accommodating.
Not only is Kerry professional and absolutely amazing at her job (I would say the best in the business), but she is a real sweetheart, too. My grandmother died leading up to the wedding which, as the date got closer, made things very emotional. She was quick to offer a hug and a kind word.
Honestly, if you want a stress free wedding this is the place to book! I would recommend this venue over and over!
