These ladies were absolutely fabulous! It was just me on my wedding day, no bridesmaids. They listened, took notes, made adjustments, and the look came out, absolutely perfect. The team had clear budget guides and packages. There was plenty of communication and organization during the planning process. There was an opportunity to have a hair and makeup trial for an additional cost. Myself and my bridesmaids all felt we were listened to and attended to in a way that met all of our needs. I loved the airbrush foundation, which gave a light look and feel without sacrificing coverage. My only suggestion would be for the makeup team to provide “touch up kits” for each person who gets their makeup done, as I’ve had this with other professional make up artists and it has always come in handy later. Overall, I would recommend!

Our looks were realized - and more!
My girls and I looked beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Candace and Hannah! My mom cried because she hadn't felt that beautiful in a long time and my vision of a romantic hair style with makeup that felt like an elevated version of me came to life! We had 5 hair services and 3 makeup and everybody loved how they turned out. Candace and Hannah were calm and professional, listening to what everyone wanted and adjusting as requested without hesitation. The three of us who got makeup done don't really wear makeup on a regular basis and were very happy with how Hannah took that into account and gave us natural, soft glam looks.
I asked for a few changes from my trial a few months prior for both my hair and makeup and I couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out. My hair and makeup lasted the whole day (from 1pm-10pm)! I highly recommend Down the Aisle in Style for any future wedding party! :)

Amazing team!
I am already a client of the main salon and it felt so amazing to have people I already knew taking care of me. Veronica is the only one that touches my hair. Having her on my special day made me feel at peace for knowing she would only add to it. Isabel is an amazing make up artist! I am more of a natural girlie and she delivered exactly what I wanted: a make up that doesn’t change any feature in my face; a natural glow to fit in my wedding garden. And it was simply perfect!!! The down the aisle in style team were amazing. They always responded to my emails in a timely and professional manner and were super easy to work with. Couldn't Be Happier! 11/10
We could not have been happier with the Down the Aisle in Style team. From the get-go, they were very communicative and easy to work with. My wedding was in January and we did a hair and make-up trial in October. I've attached photos from my trial--I was so happy with it! They did a great job at looking at my inspiration photos and making those ideas suit me even more.
On my wedding day, we had two hair stylists and one makeup artist arrive on-time and ready to go. We had 11 people that needed services. Candace and her team actually finished early! Everyone was extremely happy with their services. The hair and makeup lasted the entire day (our services started at 8am and the wedding ended at 11pm).
All of the ladies commented on how light and comfortable the hairstyles were to wear all day. I don't usually wear my hair any way but down, and I was also surprised at how well the updo held and how it didn't bother me the entire day. We had a wide array of different hairstyle requests from all the ladies and they did a fantastic job accommodating everyone. They were also great with our young flower girl, who had her hair done and got some sparkles from the make-up artist.
The makeup artist is seriously talented as well. We were all amazed at how good she was at color-matching the foundation. The makeup felt extremely natural to wear. I am definitely a crier, and I didn't notice any issues with the makeup after some happy tears!

If you take anything away from this review, it’s that you should absolutely book with Candace and Down the Aisle in Style for your big day!! When I initially reached out to Candace, she was quick to respond and got me scheduled for a trial. I knew I wanted my hair down and something like glam waves, but she gave the advice to do more of romantic waves that would look similar, but wouldn’t take as long as traditional glam waves and I’m so glad I listened to her. She color matched my hair to clip in extensions which I purchased in her salon (super fair price) and my trial took less than an hour (see 3rd pic). I loved it so much, I had her do my hair for my engagement photos 2 months later!
On my actual wedding day, Candace and Veronica arrived on time and knocked out 10 people’s hair, plus mine all within schedule, and everyone looked amazing!! I felt so gorgeous and glamorous and I know the wedding party felt the same. Not to mention, Candace is also just the sweetest person and truly wants her clients to be happy and satisfied with their hair. Her pricing is transparent and extremely fair, she doesn’t tack on a bunch of random fees, and is extremely flexible. I know this is a long review, but I want any bride considering Down the Aisle in Style to see this and feel confident on booking this company.

From the beginning, Candace and her team helped me reduce stress surrounding this process. First and foremost, the pricing is some of the most affordable and fair I have seen, especially for the areas they service. Sitting in Candace's chair for the trial made me feel so at ease - she has this way about her! She is very friendly, calming, talented and FAST. Also supportive with helping schedule/organize our ladies morning of. Not to mention, the team did 14 ladies' hair and 4 ladies' makeup and finished EARLY with no issues. The team arrived early and ready to go, but still brought the calm. Hannah was an amazing and professional makeup artist and captured what I was hoping for as well as ensuring me and my bridesmaids felt beautiful. She was able to use an inspo photo and my brief feedback to help me feel how I wanted on my wedding day! I cannot recall the name of the additional hairstylist we had on wedding day but she was amazing and super friendly as well! (So sorry!). Candace and her team and THE BEST
I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for Down the Aisle in Style. I had no vision or idea of what I wanted but somehow they brought everything I could have wanted to life with so much patience and grace. We had a very chaotic morning since our timeline was tight, I sent Candace and her team to the wrong location, and they still showed up ready to go and got us out in time!
My makeup was so so wonderful and put together in a way I could have it up in a bun for half the day and half up half down the evening. It was perfection. Isabelle did such a great job with my makeup! Being a South Asian bride, I get a little worried about makeup and getting the right colors and Isabelle just nailed it. My makeup lasted me all day and it didn’t budge it all. I felt glowy, light, and just the best version of myself. I can’t thank this team enough for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day.
Candace also was so patient and helped all the girls get on their Indian head jewelry! 10/10 - I am so glad I found this local Baltimore business 💞

No flyaway hairs!
When I was searching for a hair stylist for my wedding day I was looking for two specific things. Most importantly, I did not want to see any fly away hairs in their portfolio. Secondly was looking for a good value. I felt that I didn't have to break the bank on hair services! I finally found Candace and she was kind, accommodating, and fairly priced. After my trial she was able to make small adjustments to execute the wedding hair style perfectly. I had no frizzies, was totally smooth! My wedding party loved each of their hair styles as well. Candace and Hannah did the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and me. I had a wonderful experience with Candace and Hannah when I did a hair and makeup trial with them, and my bridesmaids and I all had a great time with them on my wedding morning! Gorgeous hair and makeup for wedding day
Candace and Isabelle were so wonderful to work with! Scheduling a trial was super easy and convenient, and I was so thrilled to be able to work with a vendor so close to home. On my wedding day, they were on time and kept to the schedule. We had three bridesmaids, two "groomswomen," and myself, the bride. Everyone looked gorgeous and got amazing styles that were unique to each individual, and the hair and makeup all held up super well throughout the (very long) day! I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, and the airbrush makeup felt like I had nothing on my face, and held up in the August Baltimore heat. I could not be more thrilled with how everything turned out. In addition to being super professional and skilled, Candace and Isabelle were fun to hang with during our getting-ready time. Their pricing is very reasonable, and their work is impeccable. You won't be disappointed if you book them for your wedding!

I can't recommend Down the Aisle in Style enough!!! They are the best! Candace and Isabel were amazing. They were flexible to the wants/needs of everyone in my bridal party that got their hair and makeup done. Candace is truly talented with the variety of hair styles she can do, and everyone who got their hair done LOVED it. Isabel was so great at makeup as well, and did not overdo the makeup at all, yet the makeup lasted all day in high heat and humidity. Overall, they both were so great to work with and felt like they were part of the bridal party getting ready with us. I cannot recommend them enough!

I had the best experience with Candace from my trial to my wedding day. She was responsive over email and very easy to work with. She recreated the exact hairstyle I showed her at my trial and recommended some extensions to help keep my curls in place on my wedding day. By the end of the day after a partially outdoor ceremony on a wet and windy day, a lot of dancing and outdoor photos, my hair and makeup looked just as perfect as it did when it was first done that morning. Looking for vendors can be daunting and exhausting, but finding the right ones make it all worth it. Candace and her team were just that. Perfect for our wedding and made everything EASY. I’ve never felt more beautiful
I am a wedding photographer in the Baltimore area and I’ve worked with A LOT of hair and makeup stylists over the years. From the first time I met Candace at a wedding, she stood out to me as a sweet and kind person and I loved her right away. When I got engaged she was the first person in my network (and ultimately only) that I checked with to see if she was available/willing to travel two hours to provide services for my wedding in Reading, PA. She was, and I was able to relax, I knew I was in good hands.
For the trial, Candace had me come to her studio in Baltimore. I had a style in mind I wanted. She did it first and I was obsessed. It was beautiful. But she didn’t stop there. She did two more styles before I left even though we had already found one I loved. Little did I know that the third would be a resounding, unanimous “that’s the one” from me, Candace, my mom (who was there), and all of my friends I sent photos to. This already shows how she goes above and beyond. She didn’t need to spend more time with me. We had something we already liked. But she wanted me to see more options and feel confident in my choice.
On the wedding day, the style that I chose was executed quickly and flawlessly and somehow was even more magical and beautiful. I’ve never felt more beautiful in my life. My mom, mother in law, step daughter, and best friend all got their hair done as well, and they were all so gorgeous. My mom has naturally curly hair and Candace worked with her curl pattern to make a stunning updo. My mom was so beautiful and glamorous.
I couldn’t be more happy I had Candace there on our wedding day, and get to keep her as a friendor!

I was blown away!
Candace and Isabelle did the hair and makeup for my wedding this past Saturday. It is hard to put into words how amazing the experience was! When we started planning a few months out, Candace’s communication was phenomenal. I always received quick, informative responses to any questions I had. My pre-wedding hair/makeup trial was wonderful. They really listened to what I wanted and worked to give me the exact look I was hoping for. Where they really shined was my wedding day. They were calm, relaxed and friendly which helped to make the afternoon fun while getting ready with my family. There were a few ladies who were nervous about getting their makeup done professionally but Isabelle was so patient with them and was able to give them the exact look they were hoping for. I made a few changes to the plan for my hair day-off and Candace didn’t miss a beat! The biggest win for me… the weather was HOT and unbearably humid! My hair and makeup didn’t budge even when I was dripping sweat. I was so nervous all of their hard work would be ruined but it lasted the entire night! I was AMAZED! I cannot recommend them enough. Candace and her team did an absolutely incredible job in all aspects - from coordinating, communicating, trial hair/makeup, to day of event travel and execution. I could not have imagined better services for my wedding day. Where many, many things had to suddenly change and pivot due to surprise hurricane weather on our wedding weekend, Candace and her team remained completely dependable. They traveled distance in rough weather conditions, arrived early on time, brought positive energy to the getting ready time, and delivered amazing hair and makeup results that survived the truest wedding test! Our hair and makeup (which includes myself, mother, mother-in-law and 10+ bridesmaids!) lasted hours the day and night despite awful rain/windy weather conditions. I will always look back and smile with gratitude at the dedication of Down the Aisle with Style team during our wedding planning and actual day. My girls and I had an AMAZING time with Candace and Isabelle! All of us loved our hair and makeup and it lasted all through the night! I had a trial beforehand and decided right before the wedding I wanted something a little different for my hair, Candace saw my vision and I was in love with my hair. The Ultimate Glam Squad!
Candace and her team are the complete glam squad! My wedding hair style was one of the hardest decisions for me and Candace couldn't have been more accommodating by having me come in a few times to try different looks. She also did my highlights two weeks prior and they were perfect. The makeup was spot on and again, I was able to try a few different variations before we nailed it down. On the day-of, the team got through myself, 5 bridesmaids and 2 moms all within 3.5 hours which was incredible - no one had to wake up early! Thank you Candace and the other stylists for making our day that much more beautiful!

The perfect salon for wedding hair and makeup!
Down the Aisle in Style did a magnificent job with our wedding hair and makeup for the big day! Seeing pictures of Candace's previous work and exchanging messages with her about what I was looking for confirmed that Down the Aisle in Style was a great choice. I felt even more confident after my trial hair and makeup session. Candace is organized, prompt with communication, and so, SO talented!! On the day of the wedding, we had lots of fun at the salon while we were getting our hair and makeup done. We were able to bring snacks and beverages to start the day off in celebratory fashion! Amazing service for me, my bridesmaids, mom, flower girl
Candace and her team provided incredible service for my nine bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, and my flower girl. I had a trial before the wedding, which was very helpful, but Candace and Hannah understood exactly what I wanted for my hair and makeup right away. I was really blown away by how beautiful everyone looked, and the team worked fast!
Three things that were especially helpful for me: 1. I have very curly hair, and there was no pressure to straighten it, and Candace made my natural curls look fantastic. 2. Candace was extremely responsive over email and phone, and she and her team were incredibly professional, great to work with. 3. The team traveled to my venue within Baltimore County. Incredible work from lovely people!
I had a wonderful experience working with Candace and her team! I had a large bridal party, so I was anxious about finding a service that could meet my needs. From start to finish, this team was so professional and great to work with. Candace worked wonders with my hair and made me feel so glamorous and beautiful. With Hannah, the makeup artist, I initially struggled to pin down the makeup look I wanted. Hannah was very easygoing and made the whole process feel very collaborative. All of my bridesmaids also really enjoyed getting ready, and the team created looks that everyone loved. Finally, Candace was very compassionate the day of the wedding and eased my worries about the day-of schedule. In the end I looked and felt beautiful with astonishingly little stress, my husband was blown away when I walked down the aisle, and everything lasted through lots of hardcore dancing and happy-crying! The most wonderful!

A Lifesaver!
18 days before my wedding I woke up to an email from my initial wedding hair stylist letting me know that she had accidentally double booked herself and could no longer do mine or my 7 attendants hair at my wedding. I wish I had known at the time that it was a blessing in disguise, because once I found Candace it was smooth sailing, and my only regret is that I didn’t find her when I started booking my beauty vendors!
From the initial outreach through my wedding day Candace was communicative, flexible, calm, kind, and incredibly talented. She was able to take what I described for my day of look (but had trouble visualizing in inspiration photos) and make it a reality. She did my 6 bridesmaids’ and mom’s hair, the latter of which I was stressed about because my mom is extremely picky. Thankfully my mom was able to come with me to my hair trial and describe what she wanted, which Candace did flawlessly on my wedding day. My bridesmaids all looked gorgeous and our hair held through the night.
Thank you Candace for being an absolute ray of sunshine. It was a delight to work with you and I cannot recommend Down the Aisle highly enough!

Amazing, affordable, and professional wedding hair and make up!
I cannot say enough good things about Down the Aisle in Style. Candace and her team of hair stylists and make up artists worked incredibly hard and well for the bridal party on my wedding day. All of the looks were incredible and stunning. I (as the bride) felt confident and radiant, and my hair and make-up held up incredibly well through the end of the night.

An absolute must for your wedding!
Candace made my dream wedding hair come true! All the girls looked absolutely beautiful. Our hair and makeup lasted the entire night!! It all looked so natural. I woke up the next morning with my makeup fully intact! (Incredible for how much we sweated!!!) They were so fun to work with!

Candace and her team did an excellent job. They were very professional and friendly. They arrived on time and got done in time. They were also very helpful in easing some of the stresses of the day and made everyone look and feel great. Candace did a perfect job on all the girls hair. Everyone loved their hair styles. She made sure everyone was happy and that their hair was exactly how they wanted it. Isabelle did a fantastic job with everyone’s makeup. Again, all the girls looked great and everyone loved their makeup. I loved my hair and makeup as well. Everything held up all night. I highly recommend them!!

My bridesmaids and I looked beautiful!
I had a large bridal party, and I was worried about getting 11 girls hair done before our wedding. Candace and her team were excellent! They brought 3 employees to our hotel to get started, then Candace and one other associate stayed until the end. Some of my bridesmaids had clear ideas that they fulfilled wonderfully, and others had no idea what they wanted. Regardless, everyone looked great. I used airbrush makeup, and Hannah did a wonderful job. She also did my mom's makeup, and two other bridesmaids. All of the employees were sweet, and easy to talk to. Everyone was happy with their looks and we got many compliments. Initially, I was worried about my hair staying all night because it fell quickly after my trial. Candace reassured me it would turn out great on the big day, and she made sure it happened! I highly recommend Down the Aisle in Style and Charm City Hair for hair and makeup.

Down the Aisle in Style provided hair and makeup for us two brides as well as various members of our families. They did a great job, and were easy to work with - we especially appreciated how quickly and calmly Candace reacted to one of the stylists leaving her company shortly before our wedding - when she reached out, she already had a plan to run by us. In the end, everyone looked beautiful and we were very pleased with the end result.

This team made us all look flawless!
I'm so glad I worked with Down the Aisle in Style for my May 2019 wedding!! My hair and makeup looked exactly how I hoped it would and stayed gorgeous for the whole night. My mom and bridesmaids also got their hair & makeup done and looked amazing, and they were all able to get hairstyles that fit their preferences/personalities. The team members were friendly, professional and flexible, and offered advice when I couldn't make up my mind about hair accessories, etc. I also had them do my hair & makeup for my engagement shoot, which was a different look, and that was wonderful too. I highly recommend them!

One of the best choices I made when wedding planning was hiring this vendor!
Candice and her team went above and beyond for our wedding. The team at Down the Aisle in Style nailed it when bringing to life my dream wedding look. What was amazing was at the end of the night, I received compliments that my hair and makeup were still in tact (despite excessive dancing and happy tears).
They were also able to accommodate my very large bridal party and family members so that everyone was feeling beautiful the day of. They were exceptionally organized, kind, and I still have my girls expressing to me how they felt so glamorous that day.
This company was fantastic from the day we hired them to the day of the wedding and we are so grateful for their beautiful work.

Great hair & makeup team
Candace and her team were great to work with! They travelled from Baltimore to DC for my wedding and did hair & makeup for myself, my maid of honor, my mom and mother of groom. They also did adorable braids on the flower girl. They had a ton of patience, accommodated some last minute changes and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them!

Everyone Loved Their Look
I used Down the Aisle in Style for my recent wedding. They provided hair and make-up for myself as well as my immediate family. Our group ranged from a teenage who is obsessed and very picky about makeup to my mother-in-law who rarely wears any makeup and has never gotten her hair or makeup done for an event. Every single one of us LOVED our look! Hair and makeup stayed in place through the ceremony, reception, dance floor AND after bar. I had my hair and makeup trail and wasn’t 100% that we had accomplished the look I wanted. Candace was really understanding, advised me to get a hair piece and come in for a second trial, which she did for free. I went into my wedding day feeling totally comfortable and confident. The hair and makeup teams kept me relaxed and reassured as my nerves started to climb in the hours before my wedding. Down The Aisle in Style helped me create exactly the look I was hoping for and made me feel incredibly beautiful and confident.

After years of wonderful haircuts and color by my fabulous hair stylist Candace, I could not let anybody else touch my hair on my big day this past August and as always she delivered. My wedding day hair looked beautiful and turned out to be exactly what I wanted. My hair stayed in place and looked flawless the entire day/night. Candace is top notch from being timely, to being personable, to making you feel comfortable and so pretty when she is finished with you! She is professional yet fun to be around! She will listen to what style you are looking for and create exactly that! Candace also brought her makeup stylist Jackie who did such an amazing job on my makeup and my maid of honor and mom. We were all very pleased with the airbrush style she used, it really does make a world of a difference, especially on your wedding day! I cannot recommend Candace and her team at Down the Aisle in Style enough. They are talented artists and anyone would be lucky to have their team be apart of their big day!

We are so pleased with Down the Aisle in Style! They did 9 sets of hair and makeup - and literally in about 2.5 hours, but with incredible efficiency. Everyone's hair and makeup stayed all day, and everything looked so beautiful even after a zillion hours of heat outside and dancing inside! Most of my girls went the "choose your own adventure" (aka let the stylist pick an updo) for hair and super natural on makeup (at least half said, "Well, I don't really wear makeup... ever...") and Candace and her team were PHENOMENAL. They came to our hotel room to do this, also. It was the best!

Candace was an absolute joy to work with. I was striving for a soft, romantic and whimsical bridal updo and she definitely helped me to achieve that. She also styled my mother's hair for the wedding day and we were both very pleased with the results. She is so kind and easy to talk to, and living in the Baltimore area I was really happy to hear that she did not charge a travel fee for traveling to our hotel (where we got ready). Candace was fantastic to work with and got my hair color perfect in the months leading up to the wedding, and then on the wedding day made sure we had enough people to get hair and makeup done for myself, 4 bridesmaids, and 2 moms all in 3 hours! Amazing work, prompt, and professional does not even begin to cover the incredible service provided by Candace. She arrived on time, was attentive, and has a true gift for hair. All the hair was beautiful, ans lasted all night long. Our make-up as well was stunning. I do not wear a lot of make-up, and most days go without. I wanted to look very natural, like myself. My make-up was perfect! My features were enhanced the perfect amount, and I could not have felt more beautiful. From the very beginning, communication was so great! I contacted a few hair/makeup artists as I was on the hunt for my wedding, but I was very surprised how many of them never responded or took weeks to get back to me - Down the Aisle in Style was different since Candace was SO quick to respond to my emails and questions. While I didn't see quite as many photos of their work online as some other vendors, I felt more comfortable with them because of the great communication and I planned to do bridal hair and makeup trials anyway! It was also great that there wasn't a difficult to meet minimum for both hair and makeup services, since most everyone wanted their hair done but only about half wanted makeup done as well - a different vendor had told me that I would be charged $150 since I was 1 service short of meeting the minimum and for that I could have just had another girl get another service as well! I'm so glad I went with Down the Aisle in Style instead of someone else!
Jackie, Irina, and Candace were a pleasure to work with on the day of the wedding, very down to earth and delivered great work in a timely fashion. They finished early and everyone was happy with their hair and makeup! I didn't get a great look at my hair before the wedding, so the only thing I'm noticing now looking at photos is that my hair did not look as much like the trial as I expected - that being said, it did still look nice and held up for most of the night with only a couple of strays that needed additional pinning!
My makeup looked amazing in photos and lasted all night and the fake eyelashes were comfortable and stayed put. Jackie gave me some blotting sheets for my oily skin and additional lip color to help get me through the day - it all worked out really well!
As most brides probably are, I was scared to put my hair and makeup into someone else's hands after doing it all myself for many events over the past few years, but I was really happy with how everything turned out!

Candace and Heather did hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party. Both of them were amazing throughout the entire process. I had never gotten professional formal hair and makeup before, but everything was so easy and enjoyable. I wasn't sure how to describe the hair style that I wanted, but Candace looked at a couple of pictures and gave me the perfect style. The makeup style was so soft and natural, too - exactly what I wanted!
From the consultation to the wedding day, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Both ladies were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any bride!

Candace has so many great reviews, and I definitely 100% agree with all of them!! I have never shown a picture on pintrest to a stylist before and have it come to life!! Candace was friendly, timely, and such a great deal for her service! I have really thick Asian hair, which I have definitely had many stylists mess up, but Candace knew exactly what she was doing with mine and my bridesmaid (whose hair was very thin and light). It turned out beautifully and she suggested to add some baby's breath into it to make it stand out when the veil was off. Super friendly and easy to work with and fast! She did all our hair quickly but beautifully and definitely added to our special day on 12/16/17.

You should definitely go with Down the Aisle in Style for your wedding hair and makeup! My experience with Candace and Jackie was fantastic. I moved out of state 6 months before my wedding, so coordinating with vendors from so far away was very stressful. Candace and Jackie were so kind to schedule a last minute hair and makeup trial when I was in town for my bridal shower. They traveled to my wedding venue on the day of my wedding, and did an amazing job with hair and makeup for myself, my bridal party, and mother. Both Candace and Jackie went above and beyond to give us exactly the look we wanted- Candace even completely changed my hairstyle the day of the wedding based on ideas she got when she walked into our venue! Our hair and makeup was flawless, thank you both so much!! (The price I quoted includes both the bride's hair and makeup trials, as well as services the day of the wedding, not including tip).

Candance and Jackie were one of my favorite parts of my wedding day. They came to my home to do hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids in the morning and did an absolutely amazing job with everyone's looks. I also did a makeup trial prior to the wedding day which I was totally pleased with and made me feel confident with booking their services. The airbrush makeup was so light that I didn't feel like I was wearing makeup and to top it off, I looked flawless! I skipped the hair trial, but Candace impressed me by giving me the perfect style after I gave her some pictures for reference. Highly recommend to anyone looking for services in or around Baltimore!

Our wedding was on a humid, rainy, August day but everything stayed in place - no loss of volume, no frizz, all waves and up do's intact until the end of the reception. Candace was amazing from day one. I do not live near the studio and Candace was kind enough to work with me in order to get me in for a trial. I was a little nervous about the timeline for the wedding day because different girls had different arrival and departure times. Candice was kind enough to send me a schedule and the wedding morning went off without a hitch. Jackie (makeup artist) and Heather (hair stylist) were truly amazing! They were professional and arrived early (which is perfect for a time freak like me). Getting ready ran smoothly and the girls and I looked absolutely stunning! Candice and Heather are amazing! Thanks for making my grown daughter, my stepmom and me look our absolute best for my brother's black tie wedding! It was so easy to book; Candice was so responsive and willing to work with us! Having the option of having Heather come straight to our downtown hotel to style us...priceless! The best part? All three of us didn't know exactly what we wanted done with our hair. Heather is one of those stylist that makes you feel instantly at ease because you know you're in the hands of a pro. She looked at a few pictures that we showed her, asked a few key questions and then, worked her magic. Thank you so much for making my stepmom , my daughter and I feel like a million bucks !! We had onsite hair and makeup for my bridal party, our mothers, sisters-in-law and flower girl. Candace, Hannah and Sara arrived early to our hotel on the Eastern Shore and were patient as we tried to organize our people; still having everyone done on time despite a late start. They are lovely people, very flexible (I changed a lot of things after my trial), and even completely redid one girls hair when she was not completely satisfied. Candace and her team (Heather & Hannah) were such a pleasure to work with, down to earth and professional. Candace is very prompt in replying to emails. She made sure I was happy with what my services would be. She made me feel comfortable about making sure I was happy with the end product. Heather did a beautiful job with my hair. She listens to what you want, shows patience and will work until you feel comfortable about it. She did my hair at 7 am and my hair held up till after midnight when I washed it out. Hannah is so sweet and so easy to work with. She was very patient with me while I tried to figure out the makeup look I wanted to have. She even did one quick touch up before she left. My sister and mom were also satisfied with their makeup services she provided. They both arrived before their scheduled times, which shows a lot of professionalism. I was pretty late getting started with searching for hair and make-up services for my wedding. I am so glad that many other places were booked because Candace and Jackie were perfect to work with for my hair and make-up services for myself and 5 other bridesmaids. Being in previous weddings and always running late with hair/make-up I was pretty worried. However, Candace ensured that we would have plenty of time and even had make-up start a bit earlier to ensure there were no issues. We were all ready with time to spare from our timeline which really helps take unneeded stress from you the day of your wedding. I cannot say enough about how accommodating and polite Candace and Jackie were as well as Candace's assistant. Everyones hair and make-up looked absolutely perfect and lasted throughout the entire night! Thank you again!

On the recommendation of a friend, I contacted Candice and Heather to do my hair and the hair of my bridesmaids, mother and mother in law for my wedding on 10/15/2016 in Havre de Grace. I am incredibly satisfied with how it all turned out! The trial was extremely easy, Heather came to my home with her suitcase of gear and, after looking at a few pictures of my general idea, came up with a hairstyle that not only looked great but would stay in place the entire time. My wedding party all looked great, and after a long night of dancing, our hair was amazingly in place! She also arrived promptly (in fact, a little early!) to the venue where we were getting ready, and everyone was ready well in advance of the festivities. I would absolutely recommend this vendor to anyone!

Candace is absolutely AMAZING. I searched for a long, long time to find someone who was both great at what they do, and affordable. Candace isn't just great at styling hair, she's incredible! Candace and Lauren showed up on time and man did they crank out some beautiful updos! I had 7 girls, plus myself and my mother in law - Candace had us ready to go a half hour earlier than expected. Everyone was in love with their hair, and it stayed put all day and through the night - even after hours of dancing. I'm so glad I went with Candace, and would 1000% book her again.

Candace and Jackie were a great team for hair and make-up. I have pretty lifeless, thin hair and never know what I'm doing with make-up and they worked complete magic. I didn't feel overdone, and they were so open to my feedback during my trial.
They also did hair and make-up for my bridal party of nine ladies, and everyone looked awesome. They were on schedule, good pricing and no one walked away feeling 'blah' about what they had done (you know that everyone has has a bad hair or makeup experience!). And everyone's hair and make-up stayed put for our wedding, which was full of dancing and sweat :)
Overall, five stars across the board for Down the Aisle in Style!

Candace was absolutely wonderful to work with! I met Candace when she came to my house for a hair trial for my cousin and myself. I knew from the beginning that she was the right fit for us. The day of the wedding she had to travel two hours. She was early, well prepared and organized. She styled the hair for my five bridesmaids, my mom, mother in law, my grandmother and myself. Originally, I wanted my hair to be down, but since it was so hot the day of our wedding, I wanted an updo instead. I showed Candace a Pinterest idea and she made it even better for me. We all loved our hair! It lasted the heat and a night of dancing. Thank you Candace for your talents!
