Our wedding at Dow Diamond was the day of our dreams. We had another venue initially that was just kind of ok, but when their communication during the initial discussion process was slow and not meeting expectations, we began looking for alternatives rather than signing the contract and I'm SO THANKFUL we did. I could not have imagined our wedding taking place anywhere other than Dow Diamond. The entire staff is so professional and easy to work with. I didn't have a single bad interaction with anyone throughout the initial tour, planning process, and wedding day. We also had so many wedding guests come up to us and complement how lovely the staff was throughout the event.
The getting ready suites were such a great size for our wedding party (total of 6 groomsman and 6 bridesmaids). It was a nice, relaxing, comfortable place to settle in the morning of the wedding for hair and makeup before all the excitement began. I really loved that the cocktail hour was right upstairs from the main ceremony and dinner/reception so our guests didn't have to navigate or go far.
The food was excellent for dinner with many complements from our guests - we had the Michigan salad, broccoli, chicken cordon bleu, Michigan roast pork loin, buttered cavatappi, and Yukon gold potatoes with garlic. We also have some kiddos in the family that are picky eaters and they were kind enough to do some separate chicken tenders and fries for them.
Our favorite things that we loved from the venue: taking pictures out on the mound, taking pictures with the Loons train, sparkler exit at Home Plate Gate, our photos up on the big screen, the two story fireplace as our backdrop for the ceremony, and the overall environment of being at the ball park. We love to go to baseball games and though nothing in the wedding was baseball themed (outside of the favors), looking out through the glass on the concourse and just the overall environment was so beautiful. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants a unique venue and really fun experience for their wedding.

I can not recommend Dow Diamond Events enough! Whether it is for a wedding, Christmas party, or any other special event, you will not be disappointed! Dave was super accommodating to any requests I had and answered all my questions with a quick response time. We got sooo many compliments on the food at our wedding and so many people loved the venue too! The staff that worked the event were all super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. The kids loved being able to play on the playground and the dippin dots were a crowd favorite. I would absolutely have another event here in the future!

I heard nothing but great things after the wedding about how amazing the staff was and how awesome the food was.
They were accommodating of everything we asked for as well.
Don’t be afraid to ask any type of questions because they will have an answer for you as well and are very responsive to emails with questions you may have as well.

The staff was wonderful to work with. The day of we were worried about the little things not getting done but the Dow Diamond staff went above and beyond and got everything done to where we didn't have to worry about anything.

We have been to many weddings over the years, and we knew we wanted a reception venue that not many people we knew had done. We first discovered the Dow Diamond after my husband did some research on venues and asked if I would tour it with him. I was very hesitant at first because honestly, who has a wedding at a baseball Diamond?! But my gosh I was so wrong to be hesitant at all about it! The food was complimented for years after our wedding (seriously, get their catering, you WILL NOT be disappointed), along with how great everything looked (we also had the TV’s playing football with high tops for the Michigan and Michigan state games - October wedding, this got us a lot of compliments as well). We had a lot of children present, they got to play on the play scape and roam about freely without anyone having to be concerned about their whereabouts. The staff was incredibly accommodating to us, they assisted with all of our set up (including providing us with centerpieces for our tables), they were great with communicating everything that they expected and helpful with our expectations. I would recommend the Dow Diamond to anyone wanting to get married because we got so many compliments on it and it turned out absolutely beautiful! 🥰 also there are so many photos that turned out amazing that it was hard to choose just a few!!!

WOW. Dow Diamond was absolutely amazing to work with. Dave went above and beyond and I can’t recommend this place enough. We tell all of our friends and family how great they were to work with, especially Dave. The staff was excellent and attentive and the food was spectacular. We can’t rave about them enough. Our guests were wowed and still talk about it 2 years later. If we could do it all over again, we would choose Dow Diamond every time. They worked with our vision, had awesome ideas, and really felt like they cared. I can’t say enough good things about them.

My wife and I could not have been happier with the wedding. We booked the venue about 2 years ahead of the wedding and they were nothing but helpful! They were easy to work with. Would highly recommend for your wedding even if you aren’t as big of baseball fans as we are.

Absolutely everything for our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner went fabulous. From scheduling, to picking our menu, the meal itself. Such an amazing experience. We will definitely recommend this to everyone that we know that may need a venue. The staff were so friendly and very attentive to every need. The room set up was beautiful and gave us such a special feeling.

We loved our experience with Dow Diamond! It genuinely felt like the staff wanted us to have as nice of a day as possible. They were incredibly easy to work. I'd consider myself to be a relatively high maintenance bride, and they were happy to help us with anything we needed!

Leading up to the day of, they were super responsive & easy to schedule with. They did a really nice food tasting for us & recommended local vendors. On the day before & day of, they were incredibly helpful in setting up & tear-down, and in making sure everything went smoothly.

We received SO MANY compliments on this venue! It's such a unique choice, and our guests loved getting photos there. We got compliments on everything from the lighting to the wait staff & bartenders. We are so very glad we had our wedding here and would definitely recommend it!

Although we were not able to book the first date we wanted we are ultimately happy we choose then venue!! Dave is great to work with and always gives me the information I need.

Great venue overall. Pricing was very reasonable given how much wedding venues cost. Very unique spot to have our wedding. We got to take some pictures down on the actual field and it was all great. They worked well with us and we really enjoyed having our wedding there. Only thing we struggled with was spotty communication at times. It would take us a while to get email responses and sometimes we had to send them twice. However I know they were having some tech issues at some points as well. Overall would recommend highly :)
