We were so thrilled to have The Doug Segree Band perform at our wedding!!! We cannot recommend them highly enough!! They learned new music for the wedding ceremony and kept the evening running so smoothly. They were happy to accommodate all of our wishes.
From the moment they started playing, everyone was on their feet dancing and having a great time. The dance floor was packed all night long. At the end of the evening, many people said it was the best wedding band they have ever seen.
They really made our wedding! -

I am a wedding planner so you know I am going to be very picky when it came to my own wedding 2 weeks ago. I worked with Doug at a wedding a couple years ago and I loved his vibe and his music. I thought to myself, if I ever get married again, this is my band. Well, I got married again and the first person I called was Doug. He was available and the wedding was booked.
When I meet with a bride the first thing I say is, put your money in your entertainment. No one cares if the chicken is cold, but they will care if the reception bombs.
Doug and Eric nailed the vibe of the wedding and the ages of the guests. I can't say enough. They are definitely reasonable and are very quick to respond. I was worried about two guys playing just guitar and I was blown away. Book Doug Segree, you'll be glad you did!! -

Doug Segree was so great to work with leading up to our wedding. He was always so up beat and excited for us during our conversations leading up to the wedding. Doug offered great suggestions for helping the reception flow. Doug and his band had all of our guests on the dance floor and did such a great job with the timing of our first dance and parent dances. The music was awesome and Doug was great to work with, cannot recommend him enough! -

I've had the pleasure of experiencing Doug and his incredible team twice—first at my best friend's wedding and then at my own. Both times, they left me absolutely amazed. Their ability to read the room and select the perfect songs for each moment is unmatched. They played a diverse array of songs and genres, ensuring guests of all ages were on the dance floor. What truly set them apart was their interactive approach: they frequently invited my husband and me, along with some of our guests, onto the stage to sing and dance with them. This engagement created an unforgettable, magical evening that we'll cherish forever. On top of all this, Doug and his team offer exceptional quality at a very reasonable price. Doug and his team are truly the best! -

Great band if you want an electric dance floor!!
We heard about Doug Segree through our caterer and he was prompt to get back to me and make our budget work in a tight time frame. Great band that knows how to keep people on the dance floor! Doug was very easy to work with and was a huge help by being MC at our wedding reception as well. He took note of artists we loved and even learned some new songs to play to make our day extra special to us. There was a slight issue with the sound system, but other than that I wouldn't change a thing. Highly recommend this band! -

Worth the investment!!!
After our wedding in June at Londontown, at least 10 of our local guests contacted us to see who our band was. Doug and his band put together perfect sets to cater to guests of all ages and got everyone out on the dance floor. He’s laid back and easy to work with and just a fun guy to be around! I felt at ease going into the day knowing that he’s a professional and didn’t need much guidance. I highly recommend reaching out to book him for your event! -

Doug was FANTASTIC! My husband and I told him the bands we liked. We were not specific about songs but he nailed it!
He was gracious enough to allow my son play one of his guitars and they played a Tom Petty song together.
Doug is a wonderful guy; such an absolute pleasure and a very talented musician.
He made our wedding so special.
We highly recommend him for any event or occasion!!! -

Doug Segree ROCKED the reception at my wedding, my sister's wedding, my brother's wedding, and my brother's in-laws wedding. He is awesome to work with and made our dance floor dreams come true. Doug helped coordinate the flow of the entire wedding and even had his guitarist preform acoustic songs for our ceremony. They also made sure to master our special dance songs. My husband and I had all our college friends dancing the entire night and they could not stop telling us how great the band was (which we already knew!!). We can't stop thinking about our reception and would recommend Doug Segree 10/10 times!! -

We received a personal referral to hire Doug and his Trio. They were very easy to work with and everyone raved about the music.
Great introductions, plenty of song choices and he will also review learning new songs as requested. He also provided the sound system for the ceremony music.
Everyone danced the night away, and very kid friendly! My pictures aren’t in yet, but these were fun!
We are now lifelong fans! Best night and exceeded expectations. -

The absolute BEST wedding band! Go with Doug Segree and his team. They absolutely ROCKED our wedding. We felt a personal connection as they worked with us for our first dance songs and some songs we wanted played throughout the night. Doug and his team did everything we asked them and more! We also think a great part is that we can continue to follow the Doug Segree Band after our wedding at local performances. We had numerous people ask us how did we get this band for our wedding. GO WITH DOUG SEGREE. It will be the best decision you make in wedding planning! -

I can not put into words the impact Doug and his band had at our wedding--they made the wedding!! Nonstop dancing, incredible vibes and flexibility with the audience and making sure everyone was on the dance floor! They were so interactive calling people on stage for the tambourine and the Taylor Swift "rap," it was incredible! Personally, I was able to get to know Doug a little more as he taught me how to play American Girl on the guitar to perform at the wedding (albeit, Im not good at all)-- Doug made me look WAY better than I truly am. I forgot a lot in the spotlight, but was so happy I ended up on stage along side the most sincere, talented and badass band! Doug was extremely easy to communicate with and had my BEST INTEREST in mind. If you're looking to secure the most energetic, lively and interactive band at your wedding, look no further. Our wedding was made by having the Doug Segree band play and I was so honored to get to know Doug though the process. He's a real breath of fresh air and gem of a human. Thank you again, meant the world! -

I first came across the Doug Segree Band at one of my friend's weddings and knew that I had to have them at my future wedding (I wasn't even engaged at that point yet). So when the time came, they were one of my first vendors booked. Our guests were raving about the band and were on the dance floor the entire evening, young and old. Doug is so easy to work with, helps with your day of timeline, learns your special songs, and comes up with an amazing playlist for your wedding. All of the band members were amazing! We had so much fun at our wedding and the Doug Segree Band played a huge part in that. I highly recommend them...they are worth every penny! -

Doug and his band were so easy to work with. If you want a band that you don't have to worry about, this is your choice. Great music that had everyone on the dance floor the whole night. He even had tambourines and...we all know as the night goes on...how great of a prop those are! Very professional and flexible and helps you make everything just how you dream it to be. -

Deirdre Sent on 12/10/2013Choosing the music was probably the most important decision we made for our wedding - both of our families like to have a good time and we knew that the band or DJ we chose would dictate the tone for the entire night. After deciding we wanted to go with a band, we got a recommendation to check out the Doug Segree Band and we were hooked! Doug offers a very extensive song list - many of which are songs that they play at charity and football events - and the band is very open to learning new songs that you definitely want to have at your reception.
One of the best parts is that you work directly with Doug when figuring out your contract - no pesky band managers to work through who are trying to sell you 10 bands at the same time. Doug is personable, upfront, and very available to chat when you need him. The band traveled from Annapolis for our wedding, arriving early for a sound check and even playing an "encore" song at the end of the night. The dancing seriously never stopped. We couldn't even make the traditional rounds to say hello to everyone at the wedding because no one was in their seats! The dance floor was completely packed all night and everyone could not stop talking about how great the music was and what a great party it was. The band even let the best man get on stage and sing a song with them - what a amazing treat for us!!
We definitely recommend the Doug Segree Band to anyone looking for a wedding band that will keep everyone on the dance floor! -

Sandy Sent on 11/16/2012I worked with Doug in the past on a Charity event and knew when I got engaged that my husband and I had to book the Doug Segree Band. In fact, we worked with the Band's schedule before booking the venue to ensure we could book them!
Doug is so easy and great to work with. He's very laid back but stays on top of things. He also always promptly responded to my inquiries. He really helped me work through the reception schedule to figure out what times certain things should occur yet remained flexible during the reception when things fell a little off schedule. The Doug Segree Band really made the reception - they are so much fun and extremely talented. They also have a lot of passion for the music and you can really see how much fun they are having when they are performing.
I love to dance so it was important to me that we had guests on the dance floor. The Doug Segree Band made it happen. The dance floor was packed and everyone had a blast. I heard so many comments from guests about how much they loved the band. One of our guests is also a musician and plays at a lot of local venues throughout the tristate area - and he commented that they were the best band he had ever seen. My husband and I believe that as well and we highly recommend them! -

The best!
doug + his guys played at our wedding on 10/2. planning was a breeze as he was very communicative + honest with us about the process! he provided us with a song list but was also open to learning new ones.
he played acoustic guitar during the ceremony + it was absolutely beautiful. in addition, he + the guys played children's music for our littler guests before dinner, it was so special!
i highly recommend doug segree!!
