We are beyond thrilled to share our experience with DJ Doug, who played an instrumental role in making our wedding day absolutely unforgettable! From the very first moment we connected with him, Doug's professionalism and passion for music shone through. His warm personality put us at ease, and it was clear that we were in the hands of a true expert.

Doug's voice is nothing short of magical. Whether he was introducing us during the reception or engaging with our guests, his talent elevated every moment. His ability to read the room and adjust the vibe accordingly was impressive, and it contributed to the seamless flow of our celebration.

But what truly sets Doug apart is his incredible knack for selecting the perfect tunes. He curated a playlist that resonated with both us and our guests, ensuring there was never a dull moment on the dance floor. From the classics to the latest hits, every song was spot on, creating an atmosphere that had everyone dancing the night away. We received countless compliments about the music, and we couldn't agree more – it was simply perfect!

The Best DJ

Doug was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment I reached out, he called me within minutes and offered to meet in person to understand our vision. His professionalism and attention to detail were unmatched—he even visited the venue beforehand to scope it out and make sure everything would run smoothly on our wedding day. Doug was incredibly flexible, accommodating all our requests, and kept the energy high all night. If you're looking for a DJ who truly goes above and beyond, Doug is the one. Highly recommend!

The perfect DJ

I cannot recommend Doug enough! From the beginning, he was super responsive, kind, and caring. He knows it’s your day and will cater music and all of that to your liking. He responds to emails in a timely manner and is so helpful! I loved that he did a pre-wedding meeting to start the outline and then followed up later about the finished outline. He’s professional and high quality. He is amazing at his job!

With a long history of being a radio and wedding DJ, Doug knows all the ins and outs of making your wedding the best it could possibly be. He’s extremely professional and knows how to read a crowd and get people involved, and will help your event run smoothly. I highly recommend!!

DJ Doug was awesome! He was super helpful, explained every bit of the planning process, and catered to our every dance and MC needs! He was particularly helpful in taking care of both our ceremony and reception and did an excellent job in every regard!

McHenry Beach Wedding

DJ Doug is the absolute best we could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. He traveled from Tennessee down to Miramar Beach Florida, and our biggest thing that we wanted at our wedding was for everybody to have fun and dance. The wedding coordinator was truly impressed with his performance and to get everything and everyone flowing together we got right through the dinner service with no issues and cake cutting to the first dance. 10/10 would most definitely recommend Doug you won’t regret if you want to have a stress free fun event.

Best dj ever!!

Doug did a phenomenal job organizing the music for our big day, keeping the activities on track, announcing the events and keeping the party alive! Everything was absolutely perfect! He was so helpful with laying out all his ideas and options for us, helping with our timeline and making suggestions to ensure our day ran smoothly. He went above and beyond. So much more than just a dj. He even suggested a last group dance and a private last dance which ended up being our favorite part of the entire night. I would 100% recommend him to anyone I know getting married. Thank you Doug!!!!

Excellent Wedding DJ

Doug was highly professional, helpful, and responsive in preparation for and on the day of our wedding. He met with us a few weeks in advance to go over everything, listen to what we wanted, and make suggestions in areas we weren’t sure. We made a few adjustments on the fly on our wedding day and Doug was very flexible in managing through those. Most importantly, he paced everything nicely and did a great job helping us keep people having fun and dancing.

Doug was incredible throughout our planning process. We met up before and went through our customized timeline, talked though any “don’t play” songs, and got to know our musical style. Doug was a blast all night long during our wedding and made the evening go seamlessly! Cannot recommend him enough, he’s just genuinely a sweet guy and a great DJ!

Doug killed it!

Doug was the best DJ we could have asked for. He played the best music and kept the party going all night long! He even took requests from our guests, which they loved. He was the perfect MC and went with the flow when surprises were thrown his way. He made great suggestions at our initial meeting that ended up making our wedding even more special that we imagined.

Doug is the man!

First off, Doug is a delight of a human being. He met with my (at the time- fiancé) and I prior to the ceremony to discuss details/how we wanted the layout of our reception to look pertaining to timeline of songs, announcements, speeches, etc. He truly cares about keeping your day special and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He had great energy at the reception, kept everyone on a schedule, and is very professional. Most of all- he is a man of God and it’s very obvious.

Doug was fantastic!

My partner and I had originally hired someone else as a dj for our wedding but he ended up having a conflict. Our original dj reach out to Doug and thankfully Doug was available! He was great, he was very friendly and professional, made some last minute changes we requested happen and great at making announcements throughout the event.

Perfect DJ for the wedding and reception

DJ Doug did more than a fantastic job at DJ-ing our wedding. He played music we requested, he kept the dance party going all night long, he was an awesome announcer for the bridal party, and he was just all around easy and fun to work with. Honestly the best DJ/MC for a wedding possible!

My husband and I, before we were married, attended two different weddings in a row with DJ DOUG as the DJ/MC and we were so impressed with how smoothly it ran and how classy and fun he was. We booked him for our wedding this past June and it could not have gone better. His voice alone is amazing but he also is professional during the profess and friendly and helped create the biggest wedding dance party I've ever seen! He was wonderful working with other vendors as well- We had a big swing band play during the pre-reception and dinner and for a dance set after dinner with some DJ songs played during breaks. He then finished out the night with about 2 hours of dancing. It was a pretty complicated schedule but again, it went PERFECTLY.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Fantastic DJ For Our Wedding!

I contacted DJ Doug about providing DJ services for my outdoor reception for my wedding. He took time to know what my vision was for the reception as a whole and music specifically. We spoke on the phone several times and via emails a few times too. He coordinated with my other venders effectively. He did an exceptional job at helping keep the reception energized and moving at a steady pace. When adjustments needed to be made, he was quick and smooth about making adjustments. Overall he did a fantastic job and added significantly to our reception flowing how we had envisioned it! Thank you!!

Everything about DJ Doug is amazing!

I really try to be sure and write reviews for experiences I have with those that have done an amazing job, as so many like to write bad reviews and complain. I think it is just as important to let people know when you have a great experience....so, I couldn't miss letting everyone know that Doug Griffin was absolutely THE BEST! So glad we used him for our wedding reception. He thinks of every detail and has years of experience, which put our minds at ease. His communication was prompt and he was so patient with us as we planned out the details as it related to music before, during, and after the ceremony. He met with us before the wedding to discuss our desires and get to know us. He also met us at the venue a few weeks before the event and walked us through everything on site....even suggesting things we hadn't thought of and should have! :) He will tailor his services to you, however you would like. He truly is about making this day perfect for you in every way, and personalizes it exactly how you would like it to be. If you want him really involved during the reception, he will be. If you don't want him to say much, he doesn't. We made him a playlist of songs we liked and knew our guests would and he also took requests and followed our preferences on what we didn't want played. I think every genre of music from country to rock to hip hop was played! Every guest was on the floor dancing at some point and he knew exactly how to keep them there. We had kids from 2 years old up to 80+ all out there dancing at the same time...now that takes someone who knows exactly what he is doing!! BEST decision we made! He is also so reasonable and competitive. You won't go wrong with Doug Griffin!

Doug is awesome!

Doug was absolutely amazing. He was very thorough before the wedding which makes things a breeze on the day of. He has the entire wedding thing down to a science. Everything was played at the perfect time, songs for specific events/moments were cut at the perfect moments, we really couldn't ask for anything else. Doug was extremely professional, organized, and amazing at communicating with our other vendors for what needed to happen when and where. Our day would not have been as perfect as it had been without Doug.

The best DJ ever!

Having Doug DJ my daughter's wedding was one of the best decisions we made. He was professional, friendly, reliable, and courteous from start to finish. He strove to do what my daughter and son in law wanted while offering helpful suggestions and guiding them in the planning of the reception. He did not just know how to do his job but also how to problem solve when there was a need. My husband and I felt like we could relax during the entirety of the reception because Doug was able to keep things running smoothly. We would highly recommend him. We got multiple compliments during and after the reception. If you are wondering whether or not to hire a professional DJ, I can tell you it was worth every penny!

All around amazing!

Doug was a phenomenal choice to DJ my wedding! He was so friendly and responsive to what I wanted. He was very straight forward with what he needed from me. He offered options on how to get the party going and once he did, we had a blast! He had everything lined out for the event and nothing was of question. Not to mention, he is very LGBT friendly! Doug Griffin was amazing

Doug was absolutely the best DJ ever. My daughter could not have been happier!!! His music library had everything. There wasn’t a single request that he wasn’t able to play. The energy he brought to the event coupled with his attention to detail and preparation prior to the event was a welcomed breath of fresh air. Planning a wedding can be stressful at times but we never had to worry about Doug being on top of his game. He wouldn’t let the details he needed fall through the cracks. He went above and beyond and we highly recommend him!!!

On our wedding day, Doug went out of his way to make sure that all details were in place for the best day ever. Let's face it, wedding planners are needed, but the MC is the true MVP keeping everyone on time with subtle music cues, not to mention, he has a charming personality that happily guided everyone to where they needed to be.

Doug is personal & makes you feel like you are working with family (minus all of the drama). He loves to get together for a face-to-face & hear what your vision is and even throws in some expertise if you want it (no extra cost..I mean come on! People charge for consultations & he just has you in mind)!

Doug has years & years of experience. He has the old school quality with all the modern tricks.

Now, I LOVE to dance. Having the right person to keep people coming back to the dance party was a non-negotiable. Doug didn't disappoint-- he kept the beats droppin' & my guests moving! No matter the music style, he has got you covered. He is so flexible & accommodating.

Amazing, Easy & A Joy to work with

Doug was amazing to work with! He has a great way of compiling everything you want for your wedding. He had us fill out a form and then we had a call (we live in LA and had a wedding in Ireland) to talk through everything we wanted. Myself and my husband had already came up with a Wedding Spotify playlist so we handed that over to Doug to show him the ‘vibe’ we wanted. When the big day came he was great at hosting and getting all the guest where they needed to be. He was also great at feeling the vibe of the room and playing songs to get people on the dance floor. I hired Doug for my wedding reception and Oh my goodness- I don’t know where to begin! DJ Doug was unreal amazing! Man oh man. MR. Doug did a fantastic job. He was on a roll the whole night. I had people coming up to me saying how the music was amazing and how they just couldn't stop dancing. We were thrilled to have Doug come and DJ our wedding. Here are just a few insights in to his skill set. He is simply the best. We had heard him DJ at a few other events: a Christmas party and a birthday part. He has the unique ability to create the perfect playlist for the event and the crowd. At each event and our wedding, he played the right song at the right time to get the guests involved. He listened to what we wanted and made it happen. Everyone had a great time. We would use Doug again on all future events that we plan.

From the very first contact to the very last dance of my daughter's wedding event, Doug was every thing I was hoping for in a DJ. I think its a big deal to hire someone to host/direct your guests at your own wedding reception and he was fun, courteous, sensitive to the group's music preferences and an all around delight to work with. Doug was AMAZING to work with! From the planning aspect to actually working the wedding, he was amazing! We got so many compliments about how great he was! We had some very last minute changes to the wedding party, and he took them in stride and our party was announced flawlessly. He worked off of my pre-ceremony Spotify playlist for the 30 minutes before the ceremony, and he took requests at the reception. We had a couple live songs done during the ceremony, and he had them set up and ready to go! From the minute the dancing started at the reception, he kept people on the dance floor all night! Everyone was dancing and having a great time! I would recommend Doug to anyone!

Doug was recently the DJ for our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ! He turned out to be our favorite vendor we worked with. He was very professional and understanding from the very beginning. We met with him prior to the wedding to discuss our ideas and preferences, and he was very accommodating, relatable, and down-to-earth. He provided an outline for us both to work with, which provided clear expectations for both parties. Doug arrived early on the wedding day, as promised, with all of his equipment ready to go. He was very flexible when we decided to move the dancing from inside to outside because of the gorgeous weather. He gladly worked with our cellist and officiant to ensure all sound worked flawlessly. My guests and I all had a BLAST due largely to Doug! My friends and family have all told us how much they enjoyed Doug. His prices are very reasonable and hard to beat. Do not hesitate to hire DJ Doug Griffin--you'll be so glad you did! I know we were!

Doug is a true professional. His goal is to make it "your" wedding. He asks the songs/genre you want to hear and delivers. Doug asked us if he could go around and take requests from the guests. This made our guests feel special and able to hear a song they wanted to. He also made sure we were happy with song selections. I would highly recommend him.

We knew nothing about DJ's going into this – and my bride made most of the decisions about the ceremony. One thing I was in charge of – one of the BIGGEST things I was in charge of, was picking the DJ. I found DJ Doug online, checked out his site and booked him. He met up with us before the ceremony and was very professional – he knows his stuff. He's friendly and has the perfect personality for this kind of thing. We couldn't be happier with our DJ decision and even had a guest at our wedding ask for his contact info so she could book him for an upcoming event. We had a very special request that he play a specific version of a very old song for our first dance. He got the EXACT version we wanted – I had sorta forgotten about it until it started playing and my smile was a mile wide :) If you are planning a special day, make sure you invite DJ Doug. Doug was incredible, and so accommodating of our specific requests and last minute changes! He met with us beforehand and was so considerate of our vision for the event. I would like to say, I was over the top impressed with Doug! He communicated well prior to the event. Anytime I had a question or concern, he addressed it in a super quick manner and made me feel like the day was going to be perfect. As far as the day, he did the best job! He was there early, he communicated with me on time frames and if we everything was still a go. He was great with the guests: I had many compliment him. We hired Doug for our September wedding. From the very start, Doug was great- quick to respond to emails, calls, and met with us prior to the wedding to create an outline. He did an amazing job at the wedding reception- the flow of the music was perfect, did a great job with the wedding party intros, announcements, etc.,. Doug was a SLAM DUNK!!!!! We loved having him!! He was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. He guided us what to pick and how, helped with the timeline for our reception. Was overly generous with helping above and beyond: bringing mics for our officiant, playing during our cocktail hour last minute, getting there extra early to ensure he was set up prior to the ceremony (even though he wasn't on "the clock").

The reception, was so smooth! He kept our guests up and at 'em! I remember thinking every song, was perfect. He had a combo of songs that were on our "must have" list, requests from our guests, and what he thought would fit in well.

Music is a HUGE part of a fun wedding, and for us, it was the last of our worries! Doug took great care of us and everyone is still talking about how much fun they had!!

Doug was thorough and professional. His advice was valuable and spot on. The wedding reception flow was perfectly timed. Doug played all the music requested and added just the right songs for a mix that suited the crowd. The song selection kept the energy up and the crowd danced all night!.

Our experience with DJ Doug was WONDERFUL! My husband and I were both in medical school and on rotations out of town for most of the months leading up to the wedding. DJ Doug was so accommodating in helping us plan the evening over email. He was incredibly organized and attentive. On the evening of our wedding, DJ Doug made us feel so special, consulting with us before each next portion of evening, so as to be sure the night proceeded exactly how we wanted. My wife and I enjoy listening to 94.1 the fish, and Doug has been a part of that station for a while. We were unsure who we would use as most people are quite expensive. Fantastic master of ceremonies! Dj Doug was amazing. He knew the words to every song that was played. He had an extensive song list. Every request that was made at my wedding he had the song. Even a song by Weird Al that my brother requested. Doug made my special day perfect. He was able to go with the flow when the itinerary was changed at the last minute. Doug was an amazing DJ for our wedding!! He sent over a questionnaire prior to our wedding date, so we could let him know what songs we wanted specifically for father/daughter dance etc. We also had a special song request for the groom and his best man, and it went so well!!

It was helpful to know how the evening was going to pan out, and Doug did an excellent job with keeping us on a timeline when the reception was happening! He really did a great with keeping the crowd entertained as well :)

Doug was fantastic! He was very professional. Doug did a great job as MC for our formal events and kept the dancing going all night long. I would highly recommend DJ Doug of Doug Griffin Entertainment if you are looking for an amazing DJ for your wedding reception. Doug was beyond helpful when it came to helping us plan out our wedding reception. He met with my husband and I in person to discuss things, then communicated so well through e-mail, helping us plan out the order of everything. He was very detail-oriented, making sure we got the music we wanted, and didn't want, and making sure we got all the special moments we wanted organized beforehand, so that on the big day, we could just relax, while he kept the party going! He also offered something we didn't find with any other DJ, long distance dedications, which for a bride whose wedding was 13 hours from where she originally lived, was such a blessing! Doug was such a nice presence at our reception, and we couldn't imagine any other DJ being a part of our big day.

Doug was an absolute asset to our wedding. He kept the energy going the whole night, and he did a great job responding to the crowd to keep people dancing and having a good time. Doug was able to get a group of non-dancers to keep dancing all night, but he never heckled the crowd to ask them to come out and dance. He used his skills alone instead of pestering the guests like some entertainers do. He was professional in appearance, manner, and performance. Guests of all ages enjoyed his entertainment.

What impressed me the most about Doug though was how interested he was in making us happy. Doug was willing to spend as much time planning with us as we requested. He made suggestions where we needed them, and he not only helped us plan the music, but he helped us plan the whole reception order of events. He was a huge help when we didn't know exactly what to do. Doug was interested both in what we wanted and in honoring what we didn't want. He was willing to take as much or as little direction as we wanted to give, so we relied on his professional judgment a lot. Doug also went above and beyond when we had a crisis. Our wedding coordinator backed out two weeks before the wedding, and Doug stepped up and took over directing the reception and ceremony. He really saved our wedding and made it happen for us when that wasn't even part of his job. I cannot recommend him strongly enough. If you hire him, he will be one of the best people on your team, and he will always be on your side!

Doug is an excellent DJ! He really helped keep our reception on track in terms of our timeline and suggested ideas to keep things fun and upbeat. Doug also offers a unique 'long distance dedication' service that allows folks that can't be in attendance to leave a recorded message, which he mixes in with music so you can hear from those folks that can't be present. Very cool! I met with Doug once to discuss logistics and details and then handled everything else via email and phone calls. He is extremely professional and wants your wedding to be perfect! He'll do as little or as much as you'd like and he does it well. Thank you so much Doug!

Our daughter's Reception was amazing. Doug did a great job keeping the crowd going and made the reception fun for all ages. I highly recommend him to anyone, he does a great job and works very well with the Bride and Groom. Our daughter's wedding reception was the best and she was so happy, and the Groom had alot of fun! They said Mom tell all my friends parents when we get married to hire him they won't be sorry! Thanks Doug for making our only daughter big day so Special!

Doug was the DJ for my daughter's reception, and he provided sound for the wedding ceremony. He was fabulous. I had to change the timeline for the reception several times, even just prior to its start, and Doug took care of all of the changes. He made wonderful suggestions for us when we were picking out music for specific dances. We requested that certain types of music NOT be played, and he made sure he didn't play it. We always had a full dance floor, which is a sure sign that the DJ is doing a great job! We will definitely recommend Doug to others and will, hopefully, get the chance to use him again.

Out of all of my vendors that I worked with, Doug was the most responsive. He really listened to what the bride and groom requested. He helped us plan the layout for the reception which was over and beyond what I had expected of him. Everyone loved the music, and there was a great energy at the reception. I would highly recommend him!

From the very first phone conversation, Doug was professional, responsive, and organized. All communication was done with ease. As the wedding got closer and the tension was growing with the wedding plans, Doug was always comforting, assuring, and flexible. I appreciate how he remained steady through my unsteadiness and would accomodate us when we had changes. The music was great. We had a few specific songs, which he played, but where we were general with our genre of music, he made appropriate choices for us. I would recommend him for any occasion. He's a great DJ.

DJ Doug was great. First and foremost he was responsive to our requests and paid close attention to our play and do-not-play lists. After asking us if it was okay, he went among the guest tables during dinner asking for requests. Since he went to our guests, as opposed to asking them to come to him, they became much more involved in the music so everyone had a great time. He was very professional, dressed in a tuxedo, and kept the party going throughout the reception. He did a nice mix of slow and fast songs and played the exact kind of music we asked for during dinner. We had a great reception and I think a lot of that was thanks to our DJ.

DJ Doug Rocks!!!!! We could not have picked a better DJ for our reception!! Doug gave us just what we wanted in a reception...laid back, entertaining, and just one big party! He does such a good job at evaluating the crowd and getting people up out of their seats and on the dance floor! If we ever need a DJ for anything else, DJ Doug will be the first one we call!

Doug Griffin was a wonderfully easy dj to work with for our wedding. Very personable,funny, and helpful with ideas. When weather and subsequent storm issues caused our schedule to have to be readjusted, Doug was very flexible. I would highly recommend him, and would definitely hire him again in the future!

This DJ is truly awesome. He was completely attuned to the 'vibe' of my reception, and seemed to be really happy and excited to be there. If a song wasn't working, he sensed it within a few seconds and would fade the song out into a better one! I didn't expect my DJ would take the time to pay attention to how the guests were responding to the music, but Doug definately did. He also honored my song requests, and was engaging and friendly on the mike - but it was not overkill at all. He truly 'made' the reception!!

Doug met with me and my daughter several months prior to the wedding, and walked us through the entire reception process. Having never been a mother-of-the-bride before, he answered the questions I didn't even know to ask! Each of his suggestions were right on target. Most importantly, we told Doug we wanted the wedding AND reception to be God-honoring. As a result, no music with questionable lyrics. I now understand the impact of a great DJ! He kept the evening flowing smoothly, with no awkward pauses. In fact, we all had a blast! Thanks, Doug, for a job well done!

From the first time we met Doug in person for our initial meeting, we were very confident that he would throw us a great wedding reception and we were not let down! We were pretty picky with the music we wanted to play and gave him a list of what we wanted to hear and didn't - and he accommodated! He played emcee and did a great job of keeping everything on time, while still allowing flexibility for the party to build and keep going. Flexible, professional, fun and friendly, and didn't try to steal the show or be corny. He was awesome, hire him. Good price, and worth every penny!
