  I recently conducted a wedding ceremony at the Kahala where Doug Fitch was the musician. Right from the prelude, which included several slack key guitar selections, he made quite an impression on the guests. Many were saying: "Wow, that's good!" and "That sounds so amazing!" Then Doug san the processional, and after the vows sang a musical dedication which he had written himself. Both songs were beautiful and heartfelt. There is no doubt that Doug has a special gift and that his musical talents are at the highest artistic level. He added significantly to the emotional warmth of the wedding, and his music was most fitting in our Hawaiian setting.

  Doug came highly recommended and lived up to our expectations! Aside from being very prepared and professional we found him to excel in his musicianship and ability to set an enjoyable tone for our special day. Finding out he could play and sing traditional as well as original songs in the Hawaiian language along with his large repertoire of American popular songs was something we felt sets him apart from many other wedding musicians in the islands. A good time was had by all!

  Doug played at both our outdoor ceremony as well as our reception at Queen Emma Summer Palace. It was such an honor to have him as part of our wedding day and the added touch of having two hula dancers join him gave our guests something special to take with them and they still talk of it to this day, 5 years later!!

  My wife and I had Doug perform at our rehearsal dinner a day before our wedding. For us, this event was just as important as our wedding reception due to the fact that it was our only chance to have a small celebration with our close family and friends. Doug was absolutely AMAZING! Not only is he an extremely talented musician but he also made everyone in attendance feel warm, comfortable, and welcome. Doug is one of those people who you feel close to the minute you meet him. He is highly energetic with a great sense of humor which made him great at connecting with our guests and allowing everyone to relax and celebrate. I would 100% recommend Doug for any event!!

  I was coordinating with Doug Fitch personally for my choice of music. There were times I have been fickle-minded (which I believe was common for brides who wants perfect, memorable music for her wedding). He was utmost responsive to all my inquiries and requests. His voice was spectacular and truly heart-felt. Highly recommended.
