Worked with us to reschedule through covid. The catering staff and kitchen was phenomenal! The bartender made perfect drinks and the coordinator made sure all the details were in line.

The service provided by Doubletree Resort was by far the best, stress free, service available. They were willing to go above and beyond to accommodate myself and our guest. The rooms were spotless and easily assessible. I highly recommend this resort to anyone. The ocean blue restaurant was fabulous. Kimberly, Shannon, and Melissa paid so much attention to detail, more so than myself and were so helpful. Our party grew in size and these ladies reorganized our dining room within minutes. I couldn't have asked better service!

Visit in person prior to discounting location due to price. Consider everything that is included.. The location and beach views from the event rooms are awesome.

Springmaid beach resort was a great place to get married. Holley Blackwelder went above and beyond to make sure our experience and wedding was just what we wanted! unfortunately we had terrible weather and a hurricane actually was to blame but Holley pulled thru and made everything absolutely perfect! The location is awesome for a destination wedding, having all guest stay at the resort, plus having the pier and beachfront bar available kept everyone together! There were a lot of renovations going on so I'm sure when they finish it will even be more deseriable to use Springmaid beach resort for the perfect destination wedding location. But my husband and I could not be happier!

Holley was very responsive to my needs. She was prompt with answers to my many many questions and she also gave many suggestions that were used. The ceremony and reception were exactly what we wanted. The decorations for the reception were simple and elegant and needed only the slightest additions to make them perfect for us. The ceremony was beautiful with the pier and beach access adding just enough to the scene but not taking away from the shore as the focal point.

Without giving details I would like to say that Holley handled a family situation in a manner that was very professional, efficient, and effective. I am very thankful to have had her involved in this momentous occasion in our lives.

We loved it! We had just picked a spot on the map and chose Springmaid based off of the website and through interactions with the event coordinator, Kimberly. We were NOT disappointed. The hotel was beautiful, as was the reception room. We ending up having to do an indoor wedding because of rain and Kimberly was on top of everything. I didn't have to worry about a thing! We were worried about the food because we didn't get a chance to taste it before hand, it was DELICIOUS. Many of our guests said they would be going back, and soon! Everyone had a great time!

This is simply the best place for a destination wedding if your looking for a great location and value. Kimberly Waffle has the greatest customer service skills you would ever ask for. The entire staff at Springmaid were willing to make my day the greatest day ever and I truly couldn't ask for more.

My daughter and nw son in law were married at Springmaid Beach Resort March 22, 2014. I worked with them for over 10 months making sure the day would be everything my daughter dreamed of for her wedding. They exceeded every wish! We are from Fort Mill, SC, so planning a destination wedding gave some extra concerns. I called Kimberly Waffle weekly with first time MOB questions and she was always available to walk me through my concerns. They were all wonderful to work with from the front office,reservations, wedding coordinators and catering staff. My daughter and her then fiance', my husband and myself all went to the taste testing and were blow away with the quality of the food! We are still receiving compliments on our choice of venue. The location is so beautiful for an outside wedding and the ballrooms offered plenty of space and everything we needed to make the day a dream come true!

Wow, Chef Mike is incredible. The food was amazing, not the usual banquet/hotel food. They did an excellent job. Our menu was tweaked to be exactly what we wanted and everything was so flavorful. People actually sat down and ate. Which you rarely see at receptions. This group went above and beyond all of our expectations!!!

Also, the breakfast buffet is amazing, the fresh fruits were awesome and the omelet man makes the best omelets I've ever had, everything was so fresh.

The food and beverage manager, Charles was there to assist when our cake arrived smashed and assured me that EVERYTHING would be wonderful! It was!

Our food at Springmaid Beach Resort was second to NONE! the food was AMAZING!! the guests all raved about how wonderful the food was and how full they got eating all the awesome food! HIGHLY recommended!

I had a ocean view wedding ceremony and the banquet room is completely ocean front. It was beautiful! The staff at Springmaid did everything to make my day perfect.

Springmaid Beach Resort facility was beautiful with an oceanfront ballroom where my reception was held! It was so nice to have my guests stay on the same grounds as my reception. Chef Mike and his team were a dream to work with when planning the food and the onsite wedding coordinator made everything run without a hitch. I would highly recommend this venue to all brides as it was nice to be able to actually enjoy my wedding day knowing that all the details were taken care of!

This place is pretty pricey but so worth it! They went above and beyond to make my wedding perfect. I wish I had been local to go over in depth more of the details but they never left me hanging in an email or phone call! Kristen and Kimberly are the best coordinators

I utilized Springmaid as the site for my wedding on the beach and the host hotel for my guest. It was an amazing area. The facility itself was satisfactory. The turnover in the group coordination made plans and agreements difficult. I had three different persons to deal with over the course of 5 months. Some things agreed upon were forgotten and dropped. Make sure EVERYTHING is in writing as you may wake up to dealing with someone else when planning.
