Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be, in large part thanks to Double Platinum Celebrations. We worked with DJ Dan and were super happy with him, and we're still getting compliments from our guests raving about how good the DJ and music was for the reception. It seems to us that he went above and beyond to make sure that everything went according to plan, even going as far as working with some of the other vendors to make sure everything was timing out right and ready to go. We were also super impressed with how responsive Dan was leading up to the wedding. We reached out to him probably over a year out from the wedding date and he was happy to hop on a call and talk through our vision, listen to our song requests and timeline ideas and he was game for all of it. He was quick to respond via email or text and we never felt that our opinions weren't being accounted for or listened to. Both my wife and I would absolutely recommend DJ Dan and Double Platinum Celebrations for anyone looking to have a great vibe and fun reception for their wedding.

Amazing experience!
DJ Jeremie was absolutely FANTASTIC! From the first conversation with him until after our wedding, Jeremie was more friendly, professional and enthusiastic than we could have asked for. Music was very important to us and he was so great at not only accommodating our requests but supplementing with his own amazing song choices! He was a true joy to work with and he was a massive part in making our day as amazing as it was. I did not leave the dance floor once during the reception and that was exactly what I wanted! DJ Kevin was also extremely easy to work with and very professional. The entire process was absolutely seamless, exactly what you want during the stress of wedding planning. Double Platinum was never a vendor that caused us a headache. They definitely lived up to their reputation and we can understand why they are the most requested DJ service in Maine!

Kevin was an INCREDIBLE DJ. He listened to us and really really took great care to what we wanted when it came to our day. We are in our early 30's so we wanted a throw back to the early 2000's days and he DELIVERED! I can't say enough great things about Kevin! Hire him... you definitely won't be disappointed!

I recently used DJ Kevin for my 50th birthday party. I can’t say enough good things about him! The planning tool was easy to use. Kevin listened to me and played all the songs I wanted. He also did a great job working in other songs to keep the party flowing. I would highly recommend!!

Dj daniel was the best.
DJ Daniel at Double Platinum Celebrations was absolutely amazing. I could go on all day about how great he was. DJ Dan was the most perfect fit for our special day, from greeting guests with fun/charming music to walking down the aisle to dancing the entire night away. EVERY SINGLE GUEST (108 people) were on the dance floor from the second it opened to the very last minute of the night. DJ Dan did the most amazing job at playing an array of music that suited absolutely everyone. I wish I could relive that night over and over again, all thanks to DJ Dan. I will continuously recommend him to everyone I cross paths with in need of a DJ.

Exceptional DJ that everyone couldn't stop talking about
Dj Kevin exceeded all our expectations as a DJ. Right from our initial interactions through emails and phone calls, he showed exceptional personal touch, communication, and delivered an experience that was beyond perfect. Their DJ website enabled us to have a say in the playlist, from the pivotal moments to the entire day's music – spanning pre-ceremony to the late-night hours. Despite our wide-ranging musical taste, with the exception of the groom's aversion to Jazz, Dj Kevin adeptly addressed our preferences, even offering to take the lead on selections. On the day itself, he was punctual, professional, and skillfully managed the schedule hiccups. The vibrant atmosphere he nurtured and his inclusive approach delighted all our guests, young and old. DJ Kevin is the reason my wedding was amazing.......
DJ Kevin took our wedding and made it legendary. I interviewed a handful of DJs for our 150-person wedding that happened this past month. I chose Kevin because of his personality, great reviews, and reputation. My wife and I were thrilled with him. Yes, the dance party was awesome, his ability to read the room and keep people on the dance floor is as good as it gets. The ceremony itself was flawless with music and mic usage. DJ Kevin is a professional who takes his job seriously. He's self-sufficient and was the backbone of our wedding. We received a ton of compliments from our guests about the music and how great the songs that were played. The DJ role might be the most crucial vendor you choose and I would trust it with Kevin again if we did it all over.

Great music and dancing all night long!
Our DJ Daniel listened to all of our requests and kept us included with each step (planning and the day of). The music we requested played flawlessly. Ceremony music was perfect, formal dances and party time! Our dance floor stayed active the entire night which was exactly what we wanted.

Phenomenal DJ
DJ Kevin was phenomenal at our wedding! He was easy to work with, professional, flexible, organized, had great judgement on song selection, and seamless transitions between sonogs. Leading up to the wedding, he & Double Platinum made it extremely easy to organize which songs we wanted for each phase of the wedding, so we felt very comfortable that the music would be great the day of. And it was! Everything went off without a hitch, the timing of everything was perfect, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. I'd highly recommend DJ Kevin to anyone!

Just awesome
DJ Jeremie was great! We communicated quite a bit before the event and he was very responsive. He took all of requests, even the odd songs that were more difficult to find on major platforms. The uplighting looked fantastic. We had asked to play a slideshow during some of our dances. DJ Jeremie synced music to the slideshow and allowed us to use his projector. DJ Jeremie was an amazing MC and kept everyone entertained. We only have great things to say about our experience. Highly recommend DJ Jeremie’s services.

DJ Kevin was everything we could have imagined for our wedding day and more. Music was a very important part of our day and he blew it out of the water. We (including our guests) were on the dance floor the entire night and people can't stop talking about our wedding because of him. DJ Dan was amazing! He was professional, accommodating, and made our wedding so special. We were sent an online planner that allowed us to submit song requests, plan a detailed ceremony and reception timeline, specify all songs we wanted played for which moments, and allow our guests to submit requests in advance. DJ Kevin did an incredible job, not only at our wedding, but throughout the entire process. He was the first vendor we booked and for over two years he was always prompt and professional in his responses to us. The day of the wedding we had to switch to the rain plan and DJ Kevin was so prepared and executed the ceremony music perfectly. We got SO many compliments on the music. Every song was an absolute banger, it was hard to get off the dance floor. I would not hesitate to book DJ Kevin for your wedding.

The perfect choice from start to finish!
DJ Kevin was fantastic to work with from start to finish! He made us feel at ease during our introductory call with his expertise of the Maine wedding scene, and was very knowledgeable about everything that goes into the music for the ceremony, reception and beyond. He did a great job of staying in contact with us between signing the contract and our wedding, even though we hired him almost two years before our ceremony. The portal was easy to use and had great recommendations for processional and first dance songs, which we needed. Kevin also was a great sounding board for us as we made those final song decisions. On the day of the wedding, he was at our venue plenty early to get set up and make sure everything would go off without a hitch. His background music pre-ceremony set the perfect vibe for our guests as they were seated. He played our three different processional songs for just the right amount of time each, and crushed it with our recessional song that was a bit more uncommon than most. Our cocktail hour had wonderful tropical house music playing in the background, and when the reception started, he was a masterful emcee, bringing tons of energy with his introductions and nailing the timing of our entrances. We got multiple compliments from guests on the background music during dinner, and when it came time to dance...he brought the party! The music was exactly what we wanted - a perfect mix of classics, hip-hop, throwback pop punk, and only one slow song for a quick breather. Everyone had a blast dancing the night away, and we could not have imagined a more perfect night. Thanks, Kevin!

Literally the best!
As a bride who is originally from Maine but having moved away to DC, I was super hesitant finding vendors in Maine. I was nervous that I wasn't going to be able to elaborate on the exact vibe that I wanted. My husband and I absolutely LOVE music - it's a huge part of our lives and we love many different types of genres. I did some online searching and saw that DJ Kevin was highly rated...I will say my hesitancy was still there. I was more nervous that he wouldn't be up for the challenge of the music we envisioned for our wedding. My husband and I really wanted a mix of EDM, Indie, Hip Hop, K-Pop, Lo-Fi, and Trip-Hop. This definitely wasn't the easiest of genres to fuse together but after our first chat with him, we were totally put at ease. DJ Kevin absolutely loves music and what he does, and you can just tell how passionate he is when you chat with him. We had some laughs about how our do not play list was basically everything from the TOP 200 Wedding Hits and he loved learning about some of the artists that we listed as our "MUST PLAYS." Not only did he put a lot of work into curating the perfect mix of music for our wedding day, his equipment was top notch. His equipment was sleek yet powerful in sound and everything was perfect. The crowd was on the dance floor the whole night! He also cares a lot in matching his timeline to yours and pronouncing names properly - it might seem like a small detail, but it makes a huge difference. I would recommend him to anyone, regardless of the type of music you want played at your wedding!

Highly Recommend Working With DJ Chris for a Packed Dance Floor!
We hired DJ Chris for our Kennebunkport, Maine, wedding in June 2023. From our first phone call to the last, Chris made us feel incredibly comfortable. He was kind, responsive, relaxed and confident in his partnership, which is just what we needed. Throughout the process, he consistently checked in and offered to answer any and all questions we had. A week prior to our wedding, we had a thorough call with Chris to go overall of our "do's" and "Don'ts", followed by an email with everything in writing (in addition to the portal we filled out) to make sure all T's were crossed and I's dotted. I especially appreciated how detailed he was and it gave me such peace of mind. Day of the wedding, Chris arrived early and did not skip a beat. His technology was flawless and his music selection was so spot on. The dance floor was PACKED the entire night, which is something we expressed to him that we wanted. He was in tune with us and the crowd the entire night and he truly made the evening SO FUN. Our friends and family still can't stop talking about how great the music was months later. Great DJ for a special occasion!
DJ Dan was awesome! We heard so many compliments from everyone about the music. A lot of people were saying that they rarely spend the whole time on the dance floor but they did at our wedding. The venue also said that we had a smaller group than others yet the dance floor was the most crowded it's ever been!
