We cannot recommend Double Knot enough for wedding wedding photography and videography. Shaun and Chris (videographers) and Dashun and Vic (photographers) went above and beyond for our VERY long wedding day.
Our traditional Vietnamese-Filipino wedding was a 15-hour day that consisted of a traditional morning tea ceremony, Filipino religious ceremony, and a 400-person Vietnamese-style reception. The Double Knot team was extremely patient throughout the entire chaotic wedding day. They made the perfect music video to the song we chose and an amazing full-length documentary. The audio was excellent and quality as well. The photos were so well-edited, and many beautiful moments were captured. Their turnaround time was also extremely fast!
We will always be thankful for having Double Knot, and we’re sure any other couple will be, too! -

Choosing Double Knot for our wedding photography and videography was one of the best decisions we made for our special day. Their team of photographers and videographers were not just professionals; they were artists who turned an unexpected rainy day into a canvas for unforgettable memories.
The team from Double Knot was incredibly nice and patient, navigating through the challenges of the weather with ease and confidence. Their ability to adapt to the changing conditions without missing a beat was remarkable. Despite the rain, they managed to capture every precious moment with a blend of creativity and precision.
What really impressed us was their cool demeanor in the face of bad weather. Instead of seeing the rain as a setback, the Double Knot team used it to their advantage, creating some of the most stunning and unique shots we've ever seen. The rain added a romantic and whimsical element to our photos and videos, something we hadn't even imagined.
The final results were nothing short of breathtaking. Each photo and video frame was a testament to their skill and dedication to their craft. The quality, the attention to detail, and the way they captured the emotions and essence of our day were beyond our expectations.
We are immensely grateful to Double Knot for their outstanding work. We highly recommend them to anyone in search of a photography and videography team that can deliver exceptional results, no matter what surprises your special day might bring. We couldn’t recommend Double Knot more! Finding a wedding photographer/videographer is definitely a daunting and overwhelming task, as you want your special day to be captured perfectly. Double Knot was able to just that - the content was everything we were hoping for and more! Amy, our photographer, and the team on our day were SO kind, made sure everyone felt at ease and had such great attention to detail. To top it off, all the pictures and videos were delivered way quicker than we expected. Couldn’t be happier! -

Double Knot Pictures was hands down the absolute best photography/videography vendor!! I'm still amazed by how professional, artistic, friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable, & timely their team was at our engagement session, rehearsal night & wedding day! They were able to capture every special moment as well as zoom in on every unique detail...which was a lot! My now husband & I were involved in an accident on our wedding day so unfortunately, we missed most of it. Luckily, our team kept the wedding going for our guests to enjoy themselves until our return later that night...the last 30 minutes to be exact! Just enough time to finally walk down the aisle, quick wedding cake cutting, & sparkler sendoff! It was difficult as a bride to miss so many special parts of my wedding day due to being injured but the team at Double Knot Pictures captured all the moments missed with the decor set up, our guests, vendors, dinner service, band, etc. I wanted somewhat of an 'Office' vibe with interviewing the guests to go in our videography so while my husband & I were at the hospital, they went around fulfilling that wish of mine & it added so much fun to our wedding video! We didn't get to see most of our guests due to being gone most of the day so to get to witness them on our video sending prayers, giving advice & wishing us all the best in our marriage was amazing. To have the opportunity to relive not only our wedding day, but our entire weekend through pictures as well as videography is something we will forever cherish. I know a lot of brides are torn on if they should get videography or not, but I cannot stress this enough...GET BOTH PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY!! It's completely worth the splurge. -

Adam and his team shot our 2 weddings, one in Belgium and one in Texas. They were super easy to work with and met all of our requests with a smile! The photos and video turned out beautiful and are something that we will cherish for years to come. We highly recommend this team! -

We used Double Knot twice! Once for our small wedding ceremony in December of 2020, and again for our larger reception in October 2022. Both photographers made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera, got great coverage, and really captured the love we felt on both days. The turnaround was quick, and both sets of phots turned out absolutely gorgeous! We would absolutely use them again if we ever have a need! -

We are absolutely blown away by double knot pictures. Adam was incredibly amazing to work with. His personality was wonderful, his professionalism immaculate and his talent truly unmatchable. Our wedding video is the best we have ever seen, it was so perfectly put together that even my dream of what I wanted it to turn out like couldn't compare to the actual product we received! I have watched our video probably over a hundred times now and it never gets old. It tells our story perfectly. Adam was great to work with, really listened to our style and vision, and was such an asset to have on our wedding day. I wish we could get married again, just so we could have the excuse of working with this wonderful company again. Truly blow away, if you don't work with Double Knot Pictures you will be seriously missing out. Such a blessing and gift that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I cannot began to say how happy I am that we chose Double Knot Pictures for our wedding photography and videography. Although our wedding was in Dallas, Adam and his team drove up from Austin for our special day. They captured the moments from getting ready all the way to coming back to our house after the wedding reception. They were so easy to work with and even our families were raving about how kind they were during the whole process (and Indians are usually very hard to please!). I keep watching our highlight video over and over again. The team truly did capture the most important parts of our wedding day. Adam made sure that the end product included everything we wanted. I’m so thankful for Adam and his team for memorializing our day so perfectly and would highly recommend! -

We knew Double Knot from Texas. So when it came time to take some pictures in NYC, both my wife and I were very comfortable being cradled into their capable hands.
And they delivered.
Kayla came up to photograph us walking along some of our favorite neighborhoods in our wedding outfits. We did classic wedding shoot things, like laugh and embrace while on a romantic walk. We are also very stupid, so we did kitschy New York City things, like eat processed food from a street vendor and flip off imaginary miscreants. All of these things were captured with a great eye for art and detail, and the pictures we received later on were truly stellar. Add to that the open way Kayla led the session. Modeling for her was so easy and comfortable. It's a skill she excels at, and the beautiful images she delivered speak further to her innumerable talents.
Throughout the mess of working with us and our busy schedules to make a shoot happen, Double Knot was very professional, flexible, understanding, and timely in their communication. They're out to be the best, you can tell. They care. And in a crowded market of memory-makers and storytellers, that can be the difference between taking a chance on someone established or trying your luck with someone who's up and coming. That they have it all together so well seems almost miraculous. And now our memories of that day have a miraculous aura, too. -

Lauren Sent on 06/20/2018The most important decision I had to make for my wedding day was choosing a photo/video team. I was an out of state bride (live in Seattle but go married in Austin), & did SO much research finding the right fit that within a reasonable budget. After countless phone calls & emails with different teams, something just clicked when I found Double Knot. From beginning to end, they were seamless. Adam & Kayla have this awesome balance of extreme professionalism but also making you feel like they’re friends you’ve known for years. I was comfortable around them and it came through in all of their work. Wedding day was complete chaos as I was finishing up so many last minute things. Adam was there to listen to my crazy banter, and even add in some himself, and somehow his presence actually calmed me down in some of those moments. Kayla has such awesome direction with her photography and really feeds off of your energy. She’s tiny and quietly bopped around getting those amazing candid shots that I know every bride wants. She was like a Prius! She got some shots of me & I didn’t even know she was there.
Everything came as promised, on time, & exceeded expectations. They just didn’t tell me how emotional I’d be! Just when I’d see a photo I wanted framed, I’d see another...and another. I will cherish these photos for the rest of my life, but the one thing that I will be able to watch and get all of those wedding day “feels” back with is the Highlight video that Adam created. It’s pure magic. I cannot even begin putting into words how it makes me feel every time I watch it. The abundance of love, joy, sense of family, and our personalities all came through. Photography & videography do so much more than preserve memories. They give you feeling. With each photo I look at, each time I watch the highlight video, I go back to remembering how happy I was on that day. Your creativity and passion is remarkable & any bride is lucky to have you by their side! So grateful for you! -

Carly Sent on 01/05/2018Adam, Kayla, and the rest of the crew were FANTASTIC with everything, from our engagement shoot, communication, response time, and of course the Big Day! We got the Combo Supreme package to get the best deal on all media for our wedding and it did not disappoint. The price was ideal for what we got and the coverage was exceptional. The pictures and video are outstanding. On the day, I noticed them when needed -- for posed photos and if I had any questions. Otherwise, they blended into the crowd to make themselves as unobtrusive as possible. Vibrant colors and natural moments were captured flawlessly. You can see everyone's emotions seep through the lens! I am so thrilled with the work and recommend Double Knot to everyone for photos and video!

Our wedding was at Avery Ranch Golf Club in Austin, TX and we chose their ultimate package which included Double Knot pictures. All in all, they did a wonderful job. I appreciated that they were flexible in working with pricing and fulfilling any other questions/requests that I had for their services. The day of they showed up on time and ready to take pictures/film. They were pleasant and easygoing to work with that day. I wish they were a bit more assertive with organizing photos (especially because I gave them a detailed list ahead of time); it was like herding cats with my family/friends and we had to get through a lot of photos. I recognize that isn't all their responsibility though. Our photos were good, but the highlight video made me cry tears of happiness it was so amazing. I can't stop watching it. The documentary (full length video) was good too with the only exception being some brief moments where the filming was unsteady, but perhaps that is the feel you get with a "documentary" style type of footage. Double knot, thank you for al that you did to capture our wonderful day! I would definitely recommend them. -
