We went down to Puerto Rico in March before our wedding date and visited at their brick and mortar location to check out their cakes and get information. We ended up tasting one of their cakes that they usually didn’t have as a wedding option. It was so incredibly delicious that we were dead-set on having that cake for our wedding. It was so good that we didn’t even need to check out anyone else’s cakes. We were hooked. We sent the inspiration for our wedding cake, and they were spot on. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the cake was…and it tasted as good as it look. Everyone raved about how delicious the cake was. Thank you so much, Double Cake! Your service was excellent! -

I booked with Double Cake based off of reviews. I was unable to sample the cake since I was planning small destination wedding. They made the perfect cake for us and even decorated with our flowers. The cake was beautiful in addition to being moist and delicious! Double cake was timely, responsive, and made wedding planning easy! -

We had a small reception for 15 people and they did a fantastic job assessing my needs, making the perfect small cake and then the lady that delivered the cake took the time to use the flowers I provide to decorate the cake perfectly. treated me as if I had ordered the most expensive cake when in reality I probably ordered the smallest wedding cake they ever made. Everything they make at Double Cake is crazy good. My wife and I hired them to make cupcakes for our wedding and our guests loved them. We were able to choose 2 different flavours and work out pricing, delivery, and other details with them. We have also gone back to the bakery for just a treat here and there. Amazing shop. -

Holy delish!
Our email sent to double cake perfectly describes our exact sentiment 3 months later: I cannot thank you enough for perfecting my vision. It is two days after the wedding and we are still talking and loving the cake as if it the first day.
The design was nailed to perfection, as it was literally a sculpture inside of the art piece of Martorell Salón.
The flavors, the cake moisture absolutely one of the best cakes I have ever had. The cakes were so good we took very little home as everyone wanted to try a slice of each flavor.
This cake will be remembered for a lifetime.
Thank you again from all of us; the bride and groom... but most of all ... all the guest!

Beautiful work
I needed a cake for my dinner following my micro wedding and I’m very happy to have found Double Cake. I sent them a photo of what I wanted and they executed it perfectly. It was almost too pretty to eat. We got a double vanilla with raspberry filling and it tasted great. -

We are not from PR, but she was able to make it happen without a problem. We were able to have a formal tasting, options and ideas to have an amazing cake display and cupcakes for everyone in my wedding party. (Vegan) great options were available for chocolate lovers, bacon, etc. -

Amazing flavors to choose. Great service and the cake was beautiful and flavorful. We choose a four layer semi-naked cake with white chocolate ganache and guava filling and cream cheese butter cream. Everyone loved it! -

The service was excellent from the first message sent. We ordered this cake without tasting first and went by reviews and research only. We are so glad we did. The guests loved our cake. We had coconut flavored with pineapple filling like a piña colada cake! -

Adrianna Sent on 07/03/2018Delicious! The best cake I have ever had was my wedding cake! I found about them as a walk in. Already so frustrated because my wedding date was two weeks away, I had been "baker hunting" for over a month, and many vendors had proven already to be very irresponsible. I walked in, not knowing they made wedding cakes, saw the wedding cake album the have on the counter and purchased three cupcakes of the four flavors they said they could make wedding cakes. My husband to be and I had a "tasting" with the cupcakes, and all cupcakes were amazing. We decided on red velvet with white chocolate covered. They were very diligent on replying back, and delivery was right on time.
Only observation is that I feel the price for delivery to the near by area of the shop is a little too high.
But overall, I would definitely purchase and order from them again. -

Samar Sent on 05/25/2018Our original Baker last minute had to cancel on us due to an emergency, with a little over a month away we contacted Double Cake and they took care of everything. I showed them a picture of something I liked, they sent me back all that they’ve done that similar and we reached a decision. It was a beautiful cake and tasted delicious. Everyone loved the chocolate as the outtermost layer because it taste so much better than fondant.

El Double Vanilla con Salted Caramel fue el Favorito y de lo que se pico (dejamos el top tier para nosotros) no sobro ni un pedazo. Delicioso y hermoso.

I ordered a small wedding cake for my sister’s tiny wedding dinner. I had to do the whole transaction through the internet, as I live abroad. Double Cake was responsive and understood immediately what I needed. Also they were understanding and flexible when I had to move the cake’s delivery time at the last hour. Ultimately, the cake was beautiful, chic and tasted like heaven. -

Our relationship with Double Cake started with our Wedding Cake order and, from there on, every important cake after that has been baked to perfection by them (friends bridal showers, our 1yr Wedding Anniversary, etc). Yari is an artist, so her cakes are not only delicious, but also beautiful. Our wedding cake was a 4 tier masterpiece with hand painted flowers in 2 of the tiers and sugar paper flowers for decoration. For any important event in your life, buy your cake at Double Cake... you will never regret it. -

DoubleCake made the exact cutting cake I wanted! It was a one-of-a-kind hand painted masterpiece that left everyone in awe. We only wanted a small cake for us to cut and freeze for our anniversary, and also ordered their cupcakes for the guests.
They’ve been my favorite bakery for the longest time so it was a no brainer to try them, and the flavor, look, professionalism and attention, as always, did not disappoint. For our tasting, they offered a beautifully packaged box with all the samples, that we were able to take with us to try out with our maid of honor, which made for a fun activity. We absolutely loved this special touch, and of course the cake was delicious. -
