The very happy Bride here after a fantastic backyard reception. We're delighted with our experience using Donna’s. The cake tasting made our selection SO easy since her offerings were all incredibly flavorful, moist, and well balanced. We wanted a small vintage style heart-shaped cake with red cherries, and Donna duplicated an inspo photo perfectly. Donna was also very accommodating with a last minute change, as we asked her to add 50 cupcakes with the same cake ingredients! Donna also made sure our vintage cake toppers fit elegantly and succeeded in making our strawberry wedding cake unbelievably delicious. Highly recommend!

Beauiful Cake and Cake Pop
Donna made our cake and cake pops for our wedding in Nov 2022. The cake and the display was beautiful. We had two flavors on our cake (vanilla & marble) and the cake pops were vanilla with a white chocolate coating. The cake was so moist and the flavor was delicious. The guest loved the cake and cake pops as well. There were no leftovers. Thank you so much Donna for the beautiful cake and cake pops. Definitely Recommend Donna's Baking Creations.

The best experience!
Donna made our wedding cake for our wedding on February 20, 2022. We really wanted to support black businesses for our special day and we couldn’t have chosen a better baker! Our 4 tier French vanilla with strawberry filling cake was INCREDIBLE! It was just so moist and light but full of flavor. We are really struggling to wait until our one year anniversary to eat the top tier lol. Donna delivered our cake as well on time and in beautiful condition. Needless to say, our guests loved the cake as well. We plan on using Donna for all types of cakes from now on!

Amazing experience
We used Donna’s creation for our September 2022 wedding. We planned the wedding in 3 months and we’re very lucky with our vendors. It was such a pleasure to work with Donna on our wedding cake and a grooms cake. Not only were they so pretty to look at they were absolutely delicious. Donna was excellent to work with for my wedding cake. She is very responsive via email and phone. She provided a delicious cake tasting, went over design options, and provided options for additional desserts as well. We went with chocolate mousse shooters and macaroons that were devine! Our cake was stunning and super delicious! Photo on right was inspiration photo and on the left was Donna's creation! Donna is also extremely reasonably priced over other bakeries. I will be returning to Donna for all my future celebration needs such as anniversaries, gender reveals, birthdays, etc!

Donna was so helpful assisting me and my aunt in buying a cake for my sisters wedding. She offered suggestions about size of cake for the amount of people coming. I highly recommend buying her samples before picking out the flavor of your cake. We chose lemon but the vanilla was amazing as well! It was a tough choice! Donna is an incredible person and a professional. She bakes with love and is meticulous for detail. She made the cake for my wedding and it was all gone the same day—the guests ate it all. I would recommend Donna's Baking Creations to everyone! Not only is Donna very kind, thoughtful, and professional, her cake is the best cake I have ever had. If you are looking for GOOD cake with a classic frosting, this is where you will find it. I have never seen cake go so quickly at a wedding! Donna is so very pleasant and professional! We were referred to her and they were so right about her cakes being moist! It was hard for us to not choose all her flavors for our wedding cake at the tasting! She also did such a beautiful job decorating it, and it was so delicious!

Donna is incredible! We did several wedding cake tastings with "big name" bakeries in the Richmond area and Donna blew all of them out of the water! Her cakes are fresh and moist and the flavor is indescribablely good!! After our wedding tasting, I used her for a baby shower cake and then again for our actual wedding cake. Both cakes were scrumptious and her attention to design and detail was perfect! For our wedding cake, I wanted to incorporate the designs from my parents and my groom's parents wedding cakes. I provided Donnna with pictures of both and she make it work! She was easy to work with and completely stress free!

Donna's Baking Creations was one of the best vendors that my husband and I used on our big day. Upon meeting her (the owner) I could tell that she was very professional, knowledge and kind. She was extremely patient with us when we came for the tasting. We knew at the tasting that we had to book her. The cake arrived on time and was setup beautifully. She even came back at the end of the event to box up the leftovers. Did I mention the taste of the cake was AMAZING? The cake was moist and very soft; simple perfect. I loved everything about this vendor.

Donna's cakes are the BEST! We had tastings with 3 other vendors before her, and we were getting ready to settle on one we thought tasted okay. Then my friend recommended her to us and we are so glad we waited!! Not only were her cakes the most delicious, but she was also the most reasonably priced! We had given her a picture of what we wanted our cake to look like and since she had never done a design like that before, she made us a sample cake so we could see a preview of it. The final product looked amazing and we couldn't have asked for anything better. All of our guests have been raving about the cake!

Love love love Donna. She is a God-send!! She was professional from the beginning and my now husband and I had a few to select from but she stood out the most. Not to mention her cakes are delicious and I'm still getting compliments about how great it tasted for my bridal shower and Wedding :)I HIGHLY recommend Donna :)

Donna was wonderful to work with. She made the cake just like my daughter wanted it for her wedding(had butterflies down the side). Donna made it, took it to the reception and had it all set up beautifully for us. Not only was it beautiful but it was DELICIOUS! Many said that it was the best wedding cake that they had ever had. The cost was less than any others that we had checked with as well.

All my life I never liked Lemon Cake until I had Donna's..I like it so much it was one of the flavors of my cake. Donna created the flavors I requested almond/ lemon and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. Her fondant was even yummy!!! I have referred friends and wedding planners to use her. Yummy Yummy and Yummy!!!
Don't let me forget to tell you she is very professional and prices are realistic.

I can not say enough positive things about my experience with Donna's Baking Creations. From the very beginning, Donna was always prompt to respond to my messages and fulfilled a last minute request the week of the wedding. Her cakes are not only beautiful but DELICIOUS! I can't count how many guests raved about the cake, not just at the wedding, but weeks after, people were still going on about how good the cake was. Prices are very reasonable and you just can't beat the quality. Donna is very professional and is very accommodating with any special requests. I will continue to use Donna's Baking Creations for future events, no matter how big or small, because once you find something this good, you don't want to take your business elsewhere. I highly recommend this vendor!

Donna is truly a master of her craft! Not only was our cake gorgeous it also tasted like a slice of heaven! My husband and I received so many compliments on the taste and look of our cake. Our guests could not stop raving about how awesome the cake was. Whenever I need a custom cake order I will look no further than Donna's Baking Creations. When it comes to the business the cakes are not the only treat. Donna is a genuine and caring individual who is so easy to work with. You can definitely tell that customer satisfaction is her top priority. Her pricing is also very affordable. I cannot wait to work with Donna again in the future. Best cake ever!!!

Working with Donna for our wedding cake design and execution was an absolute delight. She is extremely professional, helpful, efficient, and kind. We fell in LOVE with her cakes at a wedding show and were determined to have her as our baker. She invited us over for a wonderful tasting and we knew she was the one. From the initial meeting to the design process, the week before confirmation, the day of set up and the delivery of our cake we were extremely impressed. Everyone at our wedding asked who made our cake and said it was "the best wedding cake they have ever had"! We tend to agree. Thank you Donna, for your amazing service! The only thing I didn't like was my cake arriving the same time my guests were arriving. My wedding was at 4pm and cake arrived between 3:30 and 4:45pm.

Before you decide on a different baker for your wedding, do yourself a favor and visit Donna. Donna bakes the most delicious, moist, spectacular cakes I've ever tasted. She was so accommodating, welcoming myself, my husband, and two friends into her home (out of which she runs her business) and provided us all with so much cake that we took it home! Let me tell you - that cake was delicious even 2 days later. Donna also did a great job of laying the loose flowers on the cake. The only problem (and it wasn't even a big deal!) was that we had asked for a dark green ribbon trim and the cake showed up with a blush ribbon. Blush was one of our colors so it was okay, but I would have appreciated the heads up.

Amazing Wedding Cake
Working with Donna of Donna's Baking Creations for our 5-2021 wedding was a dream. Donna has a great passion for what she does, and my wife and I had a wonderful time working with her. The cake tasting was phenomenal and it was a breeze working with Donna on the design of the cake. Donna was very helpful and flexible throughout the entire process, especially as we changed dates due to the pandemic. Donna paid attention to the smallest of details to ensure that our cake looked just as amazing as it tasted - flower placement on the cake, the cake stand and even other décor on the cake table was considered and addressed. Most importantly, our cake was absolutely delicious - so many people told us how great the cake was! The quality of Donna's can't be matched and was always consistent from our first sample to the official tasting to our actual wedding cake. My wife and I are so happy we chose Donna's Baking Creations and cannot recommend her enough!

From the moment my husband and I met Donna for a wedding cake consultation, we immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. She maintains a high level of professionalism and is very personable. Our french vanilla wedding cake with buttercream icing was not only beautiful but delicious, moist, and melted right in your mouth. We received so many compliments on how good the cake was.
