Hire dj don!
We cannot recommend DJ Don enough! He was truly one of the best parts of our entire wedding. The music was perfect all night. He read the room so well, kept the energy high, and made sure the dance floor was never empty. He was a great MC as well. He took care of so much for us and coordinated everything so we had zero stress all day. We got so many compliments from our guests about how fun and seamless the night felt, and we completely agree. From transitions to song choices, everything was spot-on. It was so great working with him. He was proactive, professional, and thoughtful. He gave us ideas and suggestions about things we had never heard of. He also works with a string quartet that we hired and they were awesome as well. DJ Don is the coolest guy ever. Having experienced people running your wedding makes such a difference. If you’re looking for a DJ who brings the party and keeps everything running smoothly, Don is your guy!

Amazing DJ , made our wedding perfect!
DJ Don was nothing short of epic! He is so accommodating and truly wants to make your wedding day special. We had some very specific requests and timings and Don nailed each of them! Flawless transitions and happy to accommodate requests. Our prep calls were incredibly helpful and Don was quick to respond and pays attention to all the little details. Helped with additional requests on microphones, speakers etc. and he also looks the part - which is very much appreciated at a black tie wedding. Our guests absolutely loved Don and said he was the best part of the wedding. You cannot go wrong with DJ Don - he will make your event 1000x better!

Snowbird Wedding 08/22/25
DJ Don helped with our wedding up at snowbird in August. He did an amazing job. We had some technical difficulties at the top, but he was able to make adjustments on the fly and get things to work. We sent him a Spotify playlist with songs we liked and he did a great job integrating them into the night. The dance floor was so much fun!
Lastly our venue was a little complicated and he needed 3 set-ups to make it work. He did an amazing job and didn’t miss a beat. Would highly recommend him! Thanks Don!

If DJ Don isn't at your wedding, what are you doing?
WOW is all I can say about having DJ Don for our wedding. We had a relatively small guest list and I wanted to make sure we could keep the vibes high all night long — and boy, did he deliver (and then some). From the moment guests arrived to last call, he kept everyone moving and grooving and pumped with his mixes. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about his DJing skills and asking who he was all night long.
DJ Don is also such a pleasure to talk to and so incredibly easy to work with. His intake form is comprehensive and his MCing, crowd reading, and mixing skills are truly unparalleled. Working with him truly took any stress out of the entertainment on our wedding day.

Best DJ ever - you won’t regret it!

You won’t regret booking Dj Don!
Wow! We are still in awe! This guy can turn out a crowd! He took all our advice, was fun and beyond professional. Our string quartet had a sound issue and he was on top of it and fixed it!! Many people asked about him because he’s just SO good! We found ourselves lost in the music and wondering how the hours had gone by so fast! DJ Don was by far our best hire for our wedding. I’ve never heard more guests talk about how amazing a DJ was during a wedding and never been to another wedding where the dance floor was full from beginning of the reception to the end. His talent of mixing bangers/throwbacks/pop into a set that gets the people going while having a little bit of something for all guests is unparalleled and his ability to read the vibe of the crowd made for a perfect wedding experience. DJ Don not only was the best reception performer ever, he also was crucial in making the entire day a magical experience with helping setup the flow of the ceremony and dinner and focusing on critical details (as well as excellent recommendations for other vendors). I hired Don from our preferred vendors list. He absolutely killed it! From the hiring process, open lines of communication, availability to meet when needed, to day of show stopper - it was exactly what was expected and more. Don was always responsive to my inquires! He allowed me to have my wedding tailored to my wants but also guided me when I needed direction. Come day of - every time I looked at the dance floor is was PACKED!! Don brought so much energy to our wedding reception - he played all our requests and did a great job managing the crowd and flow of the evening! He was also very well prepared for all eventualities - the power went out for 45 minutes of our reception but he had backup batteries and was able to keep the party going until power was restored! Best Choice for our Wedding!
DJ Don played such a large part in mine and my husband’s special day, and he was absolutely incredible. He was professional from the first conversation on the phone up until we were cleaning up to leave. When we initially told our wedding planner that our DJ was DJ Don, she said “you got DJ Don?! He’s literally the best!” And she was absolutely right. DO NOT cut corners with a DJ because they are your MC and keep everything flowing, and Don couldn’t have been better.
He had an amazing sound system (one for our ceremony site and one for the dinner/reception), he had wireless microphones for our ceremony to keep it looking clean, and I surprised my husband with a recording of me singing the song for our first dance and Don helped make it flow smoothly.
Along with the evens of the day, Don brought the music and we had a full dance floor the entire evening. It was like being at a professional party with all of our favorite people!
My husband and I couldn’t recommend DJ Don enough. You will remember your even forever.

The best!
To say Don was the talk of the wedding is an understatement. At non DJ Don weddings, I feel like people come and go from the dance floor. Not ours. People hit the floor and STAYED the whole time. He went above and beyond to make sure the music was both to our taste (edm) but also palatable for the grandmas. I wish I could relive those hours over and over. Most, if not all, of our guests at some point or another came up to us and told us he was amazing. We couldn't recommend Don more.

Amazing Wedding After Party DJ!!!
WOW!! I first met Don when he was DJing the St. Regis Deer Valley's apres scene, and I was blown away. When it was time to plan for my wedding, I knew he would be a fantastic fit with my friends and family. He went above and beyond to create the perfect setlist and ambiance for our wedding afterparty, and all of our guests WERE OBSESSED! AMAZING! 10/10 would hire again! Plan to hire him in the future
I am so happy we accidentally found DJ Don. We saw him at the St. Regis since he performs there at a bar. My husband and I were amazed that we loved literally every song he played and they were all unique remixes. We eagerly looked to see if he did weddings. I was stunned when he told me that he doesn't have an official end time. The package we agreed on was 7 hrs, but he let us know that he is HAPPY to and PLANS to stay after for hourly fees. My husband and I got to lots of festivals and raves, so the dancing portion of the night was very important to us. We ended up having him from 4 pm - 3 am... the only thing that stopped us from going longer was that we ran out of propane outside and it was cold. He otherwise has performed to sunrise for people before and will keep going as long as people want. Literally worth every penny. He is the standard rate of any other DJ, but I felt like he genuinely cared about making this an event we'd never forget. He played all the songs we requested in lots of really cool remixes. It definitely was not your standard wedding music, we were dancing and felt like we were going out. I can't express enough how grateful I am we found him. We are excited and eager to find another event we can hire him in the future. Would recommend to anyone. He is a true professional and knows how to party. I will also recognize that I did not realize the heat in the tent was helping him much and he was freezing cold and still played. Def would have changed that if I could... but was amazed he just kept going. DJ Don, thank you again for making our wedding perfect.

DJ Don was not only one of the best DJs I have had the opportunity to listen to, but his skills with handling the entire wedding process were amazing. Don is an outstanding DJ who made our wedding reception unforgettable.
He has a knack for reading the crowd and playing the perfect songs to get everyone moving. He seamlessly mixed our personalized song requests into his playlist, and even threw in a few delightful surprises. Don's attention to detail was impressive, and he made sure to avoid any questionable song choices from our enthusiastic guests.
What really impressed me was Don's ability to create an incredible ambiance. He perfectly aligned his music choices with the crowd's vibe and the overall atmosphere of the evening. Don was a consummate professional, and he made sure that everything went off without a hitch.

Perfect Vibe
Don helped us find the perfect vibe for our wedding celebration and ceremony. We enjoyed working with him in every aspect. As this was our second wedding we had a family karaoke night, which was laugh your face off funny and then an amazing ceremony and dance party for the wedding itself. Couldn't have done any of that without Don. Was super fun and memorable. The younger family there - who are in the wedding season of their lives - said this was the best wedding by far. We believe music is the reason. Thanks to Don!

Best dj ever!
DJ Don was absolutely incredible. He was very responsive, patient, and helpful as we worked through the planning process. He provided suggestions, but was never overbearing and let us lead as much as we wanted and make all final decisions without pressure. We were confident in our choice, but he really blew us away on the big day. The music Don played matched and amplified each moment of the wedding, from the pre-wedding, ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner - but especially the reception/party. Once the dancefloor opened, it was full until the very end and people would have stayed longer if they could! We got so many compliments on finding the best DJ anyone had seen. The atmosphere was more than we could have imagined.
Logistically, Don was right on cue all night. Things moved so smoothly and with the amount of high end equipment, everyone no matter where they sat could hear and be part of each moment. He took all kinds of requests (even snuck in an Irish jig!) If you're considering DJ Don for your big day, we truly cannot recommend him enough!

The Greatest Wedding DJ You'll Ever Find
It is impossible to overstate how talented Don is. He DJ'd our wedding and was an absolute professional. The audio quality throughout the ceremony and reception was superb. He was confident and knew exactly what to do as me and my wife scrambled to get ready for the day. His DJ'ing skills are unbeatable - I've been to quite a few weddings this year, and no fewer than 8 separate people came up to me during the ceremony and told me "this is the best wedding DJ I've ever heard." And I wholeheartedly agree. His mixing was perfect, he kept the energy up all night long, and his selection of unique remixes made for a fresh dancing experience. 11/10 would get married to Don's music again.

Top tier entertainer
Don is professional, courteous, methodical, and above all, a very delightful and entertaining person. Prior to our wedding, he made sure to outline all of our expectations and he met every one of them the day of. He is not simply a DJ, but a true master of ceremonies. He kept the event in motion from beginning to end. He collaborated with our officiant before the ceremony to make sure they were all on the same page and he did not miss a beat. During the reception, we had an unforeseen schedule change, and he was understanding and accommodating and made it work without any issues. He will put you and your big event first and unconditionally support vour vision.
We could not have asked for a better entertainer for our wedding. It was such an immense pleasure to work with him. I cannot say enough good things. Highly recommended.

Amazing Party, brought to you by Don!
After about 2-3 minutes of Don going through the initial paperwork with us, we knew we made the right choice. Beyond incredible DJ!!
If you are looking for a DJ for your band, do yourself a favor and book Don ASAP! We were conflicted about whether he wanted a DJ or band and we are SO glad we went with Dons DJ + band combo ( Don Djing + sax player + drummer). Our guests were on the dance floor all night and everyone was raving about the music. Don was also incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding. We met with him several times to go over the music for the ceremony and reception in detail. A week before my wedding, I was feeling anxious about the music and Don met with me last minute for an hour and a half to review everything and make some last minute changes!!! We also used Don for our after party silent disco. He connected us to a company to rent out headsets and was very flexible and helpful with figuring out the logistics for the silent disco portion of things. Our guests LOVED dancing to his after party music and we were so impressed by his ability to cater toward wedding and after party music. If you want your wedding to be an amazing celebration, go with Don Woodbury Productions!!!

Don is amazing! Highly recommend!
We hired Don for our wedding last weekend and I am SO happy we did! He did an amazing job, we had so many guests make a point to tell us how great he was. Don was also super helpful in laying out the ceremony and reception flow. We met with him twice beforehand and it was obvious how much experience he has as a wedding DJ. He was very organized, listened and incorporated all our requests, and even incorporated Ukrainian music into our event for my husband and his family. He made the whole event go so smoothly and totally flowed with the guests and the energy of the event. He also had people dancing for more than 3 hours straight (which is not easy to do)! Do yourselves a favor and hire Don, he makes the whole planning process so much easier and does an amazing job as DJ.

Incredible experience with an incredible DJ
Don worked very hard to make sure we had everything we wanted on our wedding day. His setup, audio and song selection made our event great, but it was his attention to detail, his due diligence and fun demeanor made our wedding day memorable. Leading up to the wedding day, Don ensured that we were on the same page about song selection, song timing, MC'ing and then executed those plans to perfection. On a day that can feel wild and hectic, the DJ production felt easy and seamless while also providing a great atmosphere that me and my wife will remember forever.

We had the pleasure of having Don DJ our wedding and he absolutely went above and beyond. We aren’t the best with music, so did not have much guidance for him. Don went above and beyond in all aspects. He has a way of reading the crowd and totally nailed the vibe of the music for every part of the wedding. He played many requests and our guests had an amazing time. He also sets up meetings beforehand to make sure he has everything dialed to make your day that much easier. The value is great as well. A DJ of his caliber could probably charge double the price. I highly recommend Don for any events.

Wonderful experience, from start to finish
Don was on my list of preferred vendors when I booked my wedding, and I reached out to find out more. His prices are extremely reasonable, and I could see from his reviews that people love him. I decided to book with him, and I am so thrilled that I did. I ended up changing my venue and he rolled with it, no problem. I had a few special performances by my niece, nephew, and son, and he happily accommodated them by providing minus tracks. The night of the wedding, he was phenomenal. He took requests and kept the guests dancing until the end of the night. The teens kept telling me they loved the music and they were having a great time. There's not a thing he should have done differently; he was absolutely wonderful. He was an integral part of the best night of my life, and I'm so thrilled to work with him. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

Wow - what can I say about Don that probably hasn't already been said? Don was absolutely fabulous and we loved working with him. For starters, we postponed our wedding from 2021 to 2022 due to COVID and Don was so easy, understanding, and flexible about the change. Closer to the time of the event, Don had a zoom call with me to go over the details and timeline and made super helpful suggestions and tweaks to the schedule based on his experience. On the day of the wedding, Don created the vibe and by the end of the night, he had everyone on the dance floor. We LOVED Don and would work with him again anytime!!

Don Woodbury made our event at Sundance Utah a true dance party event. He was the best DJ I’ve ever heard. He kept the people dancing all night long. The bartender said in 12 years working at Sundance he has never seen such a fun, fantastic party. During dinner it was relaxing music , but when it was dance time he really knew how to get the party going and keep it going all night.

DJ Don Woodbury was absolutely amazing!!! Super easy to talk to and listened to all the things we were wanting played and stayed away from things we did not. He was fun and interacted with the guest as they would request songs. He kept great communication with us and made the adjustments throughout the night that were needed. The perfect wedding DJ!
Don did an incredible job on our wedding! We know that 2021 was an insanely busy year for weddings, but Don never missed a beat. Communication is very important to me, and he was very quick to respond and clear in his answers. We sent him a short list of a few song requests and the general genres/vibes we wanted throughout the evening and he NAILED it. On top of setting the right tone, he was super flexible when we needed to shift the order of toasts/cake cutting last minute. My husband and I had a blast, and sooo many of our guests told us afterwards that Don did a great job! The dance floor was POPPIN’ all night. The only thing that kept me away was how badly I needed water during all that dancing! We would very happily recommend Don for any event!

Don was great! Before the wedding, he helped us organize a timeline that really made the whole day flow so well. We are both used to being "the detail ones," and it was great to have a professional like Don take that over! He was fun and funny, and engaged well with our guests; we could not believe the number of guests who commented to us how great he was as a DJ. He kept people on the dance floor, and even took a video clip which he shared with us of everyone on the dance floor dancing to a song honoring our parents who had passed away - receiving that clip after the wedding was such gift! Don was the DJ at our recent wedding and we are both extremely pleased with the music and our experience working with Don. We had a couple of organizational meetings with him to go over the play list and the schedule. He was very accommodating of our specific selections, and we also had guests submit their preferences for tunes that they would dance to. Don was super accommodating of these requests. He also filled in the rest of the time with great selections that were danceable, as well as being consistent with the genres apparent from the request list. Don was also more than a DJ, he helped us to refine the schedule with appropriate music for after the ceremony itself, the cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance time. Overall, we give him our highest recommendation.

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! Don was super attentive to details and very friendly. We were pretty clueless when we first started wedding planning and Don walked us through a detailed ceremony and reception timeline and offered suggestions for music to get us started. Don absolutely nailed the dance music and kept everyone dancing the entire night! He really knew how to read the crowd and instead of merely playing songs we requested, he mixed them together so smoothly and put a fresh spin on them. I can't say enough good things about Don! I had the best time at my wedding and everything was perfect. Don is beyond a DJ. He was able to coordinate speeches, set the vibe, have a incredible library of music, and make sure everyone was where the needed to be when they needed to be there. A lot of times I hear weddings are very stressful, but I can honestly say I had the perfect day with my bride, family and friends. I also can say that Don was a huge part in that and for that I am so grateful. Such an awesome and fun guy who was also very professional. I highly recommend him. Thank you so much Don!

I was debating on to hire a dj for my daughter’s wedding & I’m so glad I did!!! Don did an incredible job. He was very responsive in all communication. He went over the entire timeline of the wedding with us prior to the wedding & brought up things I completely forgot about. Went over music lines & dislikes.
We had an incredible time. Everyone danced the entire night away. Highly recommend!!

Professional and fun DJ
We loved having Don at my daughter’s wedding! Through our luncheon, reception, and dancing he played great music and did a great job. He kept us on schedule and made everything flow smoothly. Don has a fun personality and everyone had a blast dancing. He was very quick to respond when I called him about doing music our wedding. He has great references and really sold himself when I was trying to hire a DJ. I would definitely recommend him to DJ your wedding or special occasion.

Awesome DJ and great to work with
DJ Don made our reception such a great experience. He was so good at feeling the mood of everyone and made the whole event flow nicely. We got married in March and had a reception planned but it got cancelled because of Coronavirus, he offered us a full refund after it was cancelled. We ended up having the reception later and he came on the day with no questions asked. I would recommend 10/10!!

DJ Don is the best!
We had our band cancel last minute due to covid and Don was quick to step in with only a few weeks to spare. The dancing was the highlight of our wedding and we owe that to Don. He was professional, great with communication, and flexible. 20 out of 10 would recommend Don for your wedding!

The best DJ!!!
Don was the very best in the business! He made sure ahead of time what songs we wanted to have played the whole night and had seriously everyone dancing! He had just the best personality as well! Right when he knew we were interested in hiring him he went to our venue to check out the sound system without any hesitation. He knows how to keep a bunch of college kids happy! Definitely the best of the best.

Don was incredible from start to finish! He matched the energy and the vibe and knew how to keep the party going! Our wedding was a celebration and Don was able to read the room and keep the party going! Our guests had nothing but compliments and praise for the job he did. Thank you Don, you were spectacular!

Flexible, friendly, and professional
I can't recommend Don enough!! We booked him for our September 2020 wedding back before COVID took off. He was super responsive and very professional with a questionnaire to ensure we had the right style of music and overall tone during our wedding. Once COVID hit, we unfortunately had to cancel our wedding and Don was incredible! When I reached out just to see if he would consider some kind of refund, he was quick to reassure us he would refund our deposit 100% no questions asked. He is literally the only vendor who has refunded us!! In this uncertain time, Don is your guy!!

Wedding Reception Music
We had the Don Woodbury Trio perform at our wedding reception and they were so amazing! We had so many compliments from our guests on their music. Many people said they wanted them to perform at their events in the future because they loved them so much! I would definitely recommend them and would choose to work with them again!

Don was so awesome at our wedding and reception. We recieved so many compliments about how well he did. He did so well in reading the crowd and knowing when to play dancing songs and when to play something more upbeat. His system sounded so good and he even provided some mood lighting

Great Experience
We could not have been happier with the service Don provided for our Daughters wedding. It was her big day and it went off perfectly. We were able to enjoy the wedding without a worry. Everything from the vows, to the cutting of the cake, to the first dance... Don made sure it moved at just the right pace and with just the right tone. Our wedding day would not have been the same without Don. His ability to read the vibe of the room is unparalleled. We received so many compliments on the music selection over the course of the evening while Don always checking-in with us to enure the sound level was just right. It is also worth noting that prior to our wedding, Don was extremely communicative - willing to jump on the phone at any minute and providing timely responses to all of our miscellaneous questions! I would recommend Don to anyone looking for a stellar DJ in and around Salt Lake County.

Helped us keep the party going!
Don is phenomenal. He played exactly what we asked him to - and we had some very specific requests! He led our entire wedding and did a great job of moving things along at a perfect pace. He kept everyone on the dance floor until our venue kicked us out! Don even swooped in and found us a string duet for the ceremony when our previous group cancelled. He really went the extra mile for us, and, unlike a lot of other wedding vendors, he is a great communicator. My emails and phone calls never went unanswered. Thank you Don!

Super professional and fun!
Don was so great to work with! I am a wedding photographer, and see many DJ's, and Don is one of the best. When an unexpected rain shower rolled in just after the ceremony, he was able to get all his equipment moved to safety and set up in time for cocktail hour tunes. I don't think the guests or couple were even aware of how much he had to do behind the scenes in that situation. Everything just seemed to go seamlessly. When it came to the reception and dancing, he made everything a blast. He was able to read the crowd and play music that got everyone onto the dance floor and having tons of fun. I would highly recommend Don for your wedding!

Perfection!!
I am the father of the most detail oriented bride ever. I had to come up with a speech to match her level of planning and execution, not to mention one that would convey my love for her and her man. Don handled my audio clip special requests like the pro that he is and made it all work out and sound GREAT!! He was also laying down some killer tracks that swelled the dance floor!! Don is a true professional!
Don is especially knowledgeable regarding wedding ceremonies and receptions. I was the wedding coordinator for a family wedding at Snowbird, Utah. He was the best DJ to work with! Don had extra equipment with him that helped out the other vendors and he ensured the ceremony would run smoothly as well as the reception. Those things are just as important as being a great DJ...which he absolutely is! He kept everyone happy all night long with his selection of music. Don is extremely respectful of the bride and groom's wishes and requests. He is a true professional!

Seriously, use Don. He's AMAZING!
Not sure this glowing review will fit in this space. Don was AMAZING. Seriously, use him for your wedding. We planned a destination wedding in Midway, UT from Phoenix, and from the initial phone call with Don, we knew he was our guy. His experience is apparent, he gave us great recommendations, lots of options, and even threw in a few extras here and there. He even dresses to match your wedding! He accommodated last minute requests from us, my matron of honor and even guests to make our night fun, memorable and pretty awesome. He's a great MC, kept the guests flowing and dancing, and kept the night moving on time. He was even spotted on the dance floor with guests at times, which was that much more fun. Nobody wanted to leave! I would use him again in a heartbeat!

Don served my couple perfectly!
As a wedding photographer, I work closely with other vendors on wedding days. Don and I worked together serving a couple in the Ogden area back in October, and he brought the party! He kept everyone on the dance floor for hours! I even had a blast dancing from the sidelines as the wedding guests boogied the night away!

We used Don at the reception for our older daughter's wedding four years ago and again for my youngest on October 3, 2015. He provided outstanding services playing the piano during the open bar session and dinner with great DJ services for the after dinner dancing - lots of music variety. We had about 150 guests and Don served as a general MC for activity schedules announcing events like toasts, first dance, sparkler exit, etc. There were some neglected sequencing issues with staff at the venue and Don quickly realized that and interacted with them to make sure things stayed on track. Saved the day for us at the reception in some ways. I strongly recommend Don Woodbury Productions based on our very positive experience with both of our daughter's wedding receptions.

Don is really nice and professional and easy to work with. When we met with him to discuss music styles and options, he was very mindful of making sure we were satisfied. We had a lot of music in mind from our favorite artists and he filled in the blank where I couldn't think of a suitable song. He acted as our MC the entire wedding and was very good about announcing us in and making announcements through out the night without sounding tacky. He has the perfect voice for an MC! OverAll, a really good guy and it was a pleasure working with him!

Don nailed the vibe we were going for. He was a great person to work with and had a great personality. He stuck with our requests, which was great because we had an attendee request a specific genre of music that we forbade for the reception....and he denied her request! Excellent! I'm happy Don stuck to the plans and that he was flexible with our requests as the bride and groom. He was more than happy to play an extra last-song at my request. The reception was an absolute knock-out of a dance party. We are very, very satisfied with his services.

Don was a great DJ at our wedding! he also played the piano for the ceremony. He has a great list of songs he can play and is willing to learn new songs if there is something specific you want. He was great to work with, fun and professional. He also lets you pick his outfit from a list of suits and jackets he owns!! He did a beautiful job during our ceremony and kept the party going during the reception!
