    My fiance & I are over the moon about our engagement photos! We absolutely adore them! Working with Nancy & Jack was wonderful! We cannot wait to have them photograph our wedding!!!

    Jack and Nancy are wonderful, nice, and amazingly talented people. My husband and I used them for our engagement photos and our wedding this past Sunday. For our engagement pictures, they met with us prior to it to show us other shoots to give us ideas for our own. They were open to taking them wherever we wanted. My husband and I were afraid we would be so awkward in these photos but they came out amazing. Nancy and Jack really know how to capture a picture and use the light for the best results. More importantly they know how to make the photos fun.

    For our wedding, they showed up exactly at 3pm to do detail shots, family pictures, first look pictures and would have done getting ready shots but I declined. In our package, we opted for the photobooth and it did not disappoint. Our guests loved it and I only wish my husband and I had more time during the reception to use it. We just picked up our pictures last night and we can’t get over how amazing they look.

    The added benefit, on top of everything else, to Nancy and Jack being amazing photographers and taking initially amazing photos is they don’t need a lot of time to edit the photos. We received both our engagement photos and wedding photos within a week. Their prices are a steal compared to others in the area for the packages they offer and every package includes the digital rights to the photos they give you. I’d recommend them to anyone getting married or wanting family photos done.

    Nancy and Jack are amazing. They make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and they're a lot of fun to work with. They are professional, creative and absolutely the BEST!

    Dodson Photography is really great; they work very well with customers and even though they are professional they don't make you feel uncomfortable. You are always having fun when shooting eith them.

    From beginning to end Nancy and Jack were incredibly accommodating. We had a blast working with them. The engagement photos and wedding photos were perfect. They were professional, fun, and friendly. All of our family and friends had nothing but great things to say. We had tons of beautiful wedding memories thanks to Nancy, Jack, and Jocepi! I have the most beautiful memories of the best night of my life.

    The Dodson's were very professional, as well as enjoyable to work with. It was easy to make arrangements with them, and they worked around our schedule as much as possible.
    During the engagement session, and during the wedding, the Dodson's were good at "posing" us for some great shots. Most of these poses were very classic. Anything a little more creative or out of the box, we had to suggest ourselves, but the photographers were easy-going and willing to go along with it.
    We ended up with plenty of great photos, both from the engagement session and the wedding.

    To follow up on my earier review, in which I let my emotions take over, therefore I felt my review was not diplomatic. I wanted to set the record straight, even though my particular experience with Dodson Photography has not been exactly a positive one. I felt for other consumers reading these reviews that I needed to be fair. I can state that before my decision to use another photographer, the Dodson’s were very helpful, friendly and wanted only to please. What it came down to for us, was style. I did not realize till after booking with Dodson’s how much each photographer’s style can differ. My best piece of advise, is really look at all the different photographer's in your area and figure out what type of style you want for your photos. Package wise Dodson’s photography is very affordable and your DVD is included, which is a big thumbs up!

    Nancy and Jack were great, until the night of the wedding. Jack was very pleasant the entire event, but Nancy was not very pleasant at all. She even yelled at members of my husbands family, and was rude to my bridal party on multiple occasions. Not to mention she completely blocked my brother out of shots with the groomsmen because he is handicapped, and never took shots of me with just the groomsmen, who are all very good friends of mine as well as my husband. The pictures they took are nice. We got some really good shots, and some not so great ones. But no matter what, my photo albums are going to be missing shots of my little brother, as well as shots of me with my friends.
