His work ethic, honesty, communication skills and integrity stood out to my entire family.
The quick pics he sent us are wonderful, we loved getting pictures so quickly after the wedding.
The videos were delivered promptly. What a home run experience has been.
If you need a videographer for your wedding - hope you can get him. He should be booked up every weekend. -

Wonderful job on our wedding video! Joel from No Frills Video came to our rescue after the first video company we'd booked went bankrupt months before our wedding, and we were left in a lurch. Joel is dependable and cares, and that's what we could immediately see through his work and his detailed, intricate process. Day-of, he showed up early (every couple's dream) and captured so many moments we would have otherwise never gotten to witness on our special day. His documentary style provided us with complete (not clipped) memories of our beautiful ceremony, first dance, etc. So special. There were definitely some tears shed throughout the family when we watched it back! Joel was a professional and worked great with our photographer, which was booked through another company. Speaking of professional, his scheduling was perfect, allowing enough time to set up his equipment, capture our first look, and be ceremony-ready. Following our big day, he stayed in touch regularly to update us on his progress, and he delivered us all the footage around 1 week later (extremely quick, especially considering this was over Thanksgiving!). Again, Joel really cares, and what more could a bride and groom hope from their videographer? Can't wait to show our future kids these memories one day. Thank you, Joel, for everything! -

Joel was dedicated and passionate about capturing our special day. He communicated clearly, making sure our expectations were aligned and we were happy with our video. If you’re looking for a videographer to capture the memory of your wedding day for years to come, Joel is your guy! He arrived early and captured so much content. He really knew what he was doing and was super intentional. The day after the wedding, he had pulled tons of stills from his multiple cameras and sent those over to us. So we immediately got to relive our wedding day through those photos! Although not a replacement for a photographer, it was wonderful to see the photos so quickly. When he delivered the finished video (less than two weeks after the wedding!!), the product was amazing. We are so so happy we booked, Joel! And would recommend him to any other couple -

We received a recommendation for No Frills after completing a search on theknot.com. No Frills is a very affordable option. Joel is a highly skilled videographer, with years of experience. He took the time to explain his process to us and captured every moment documentary style, all of the beautiful moments we loved about our wedding day. We now have footage that we can watch over and over again! Not only that, he edited the footage into a trailer and shared it on his website. We would highly recommend Joel and No Frills!!!

Joel is fantastic, he came all the way to Lampasas to do our wedding for a very reasonable travel fee. He was always professional, dedicated to his work, and was completely understanding when we had to delay the wedding due to covid! I would absolutely recommend him. -

Joel lived up to his reviews. The quality of the videos were great! He even caught pictures that the photographers missed. Receiving stills from the wedding and reception the night of (yes that is correct), was amazing. We had pictures and videos to show our friends and family faster than the photographer. Expectations were set and delivered. Joel even came early and stayed late to make sure all aspects were captured. We would definitely hire Joel when we have another event needing video documentation! -

Joel made the videography part of this easy on us. He fully explained everything in extreme detail in our meeting early on when we were booking, and everything he mentioned would be done...was done exactly the way he said it would be.
He's very responsive and obviously has tons of experience doing this. We were receiving updates periodically following the wedding, including a "sneak peak" video that was sent to us around 4-5am, only hours after our wedding had ended. Made for a nice surprise when we woke up the next morning.
Easily the most detail-oriented vendor we dealt with, and extremely easy to get a hold of if we needed anything or had questions. He even assisted me with my bowtie and cufflinks when rain threw a wrench in our well-planned festivities.
You also get stillframe pictures from the video itself, which is fairly awesome, especially since you also get these a day or two after the wedding is over. I highly recommend Nofrills/Joel and am glad we hired him to be our videographer for the wedding. Thanks, Joel! -

No frills video, don’t let the name fool you! The team sets up a number of cameras takes wonderful angles blends in with the crowd and just simply documents your event. Joel was kind of enough to send us pictures from our wedding instantly and delivered our videos within days of service. The videographer was very thorough and detailed on what to expect at the wedding/reception and gave us a set of expectations on how we would receive our video products. The quality of the video was very good and edited really well and we received the video in a timely fashion. My only feedback is for future weddings the videographer be sure to capture a video shot of the front of the wedding venue. -

We are very happy we went with No Frills Video for our videography needs at our wedding. Joel truly delivered on what he had promised us. Joel is very professional, detail oriented, and a stickler for preparedness. He was always upfront, honest, and clear on his scope and deliverables. On the day of the wedding, he was very aware of his surroundings and ensured he wouldn’t get in the way of the photographer. In fact, they seemed to work well together. The night of the wedding he sent us several still shots from the video. I loved that I was able to share photos from the wedding with our family at brunch the next morning! He provided all of the final deliverables promptly (a week after the wedding). He gave us several copies of DVDs/Blu-ray discs containing our complete wedding video and divided it into chapters (ceremony/first dance/cake cutting/ etc…) to make it easier to navigate. He also made a short video and provided all of the raw files to us in a hard drive we brought over to him. This is not a cinematography production, it is purely documentary style, but the picture quality was great and he did several edits to ensure consistent lighting and smooth transitions in the video. His services were truly a great value and we would definitely recommend No Frills Video to others.
TLDR: Joel is very prepared and professional, and truly strives to make the experience smooth and to live up to the agreed upon expectations. He is very honest, open, and upfront. We were most impressed with the next-day deliverable of previous snapshots and the final deliverable of the wedding video a week later.
