The Perfect Score
Evan could not have done a better job helping us plan and execute a wedding to remember. He made it extremely easy to select the music for our event, while providing plenty of assistance and a strong framework for ideas. Once the day arrived, he hit all the right notes in terms of moving the event along smoothly - and by the time we got on the dance floor it was all happening just right. We loved how he got into many of the tracks we had suggested upfront while also reading the vibe and dropping some classics at just the right time. Everyone had a blast, we had numerous compliments on the vibe/music, and Evan was a consummate professional throughout. Do yourself a favor and hire a real talent like DJ Hevan - we couldn’t have been happier! -

Our daughter and son-in-law had their wedding at an all inclusive resort in Cancun. DJ Evan was MC and DJ for the wedding reception. From the start until they shut down the evening, everyone was out of their seats and dancing! Our kids come from a mix of Jewish and Hispanic backgrounds which DJ Evan was able to accommodate perfectly. On top of being the DJ for our reception, Evan without being asked jumped in to help with audio and staging logistics for the wedding ceremony and our post-wedding brunch. DJ Evan’s calm demeanor and experience helped keep all our events running smoothly. On top of all this Evan is just the nicest person you could meet. -

We just got married in Cancun, Mexico, and were beyond fortunate to have DJ Evan as part of our special day. From the moment we walked into the reception, the dance floor was alive—and it stayed that way all night, thanks to him.
In our pre-wedding conversations, we shared our vision with Evan: a celebration that honored our Jewish and Puerto Rican cultures while weaving in our love for Afro beats. Not only did he fully understand the assignment, but he also exceeded every expectation. The music felt so uniquely “us,” yet he effortlessly connected with our guests, curating a vibe that kept everyone on their feet.
I’ve never attended a wedding where every single guest was on the dance floor all night long—no one was sitting at their tables! Throughout the night, Evan regularly checked in with us to ensure everything was perfect, giving us such a sense of ease. Knowing he was in charge made us feel completely confident that the night was in the best hands possible.

Faulkner Wedding
DJ Evan put on one hell of a party for our wedding! He was extremely easy to work with in planning leading up to the event and understood exactly what we were looking for. He had us and all the wedding guests dancing the night away! He also took a lot of great videos of everyone dancing and now we will be able to look back on those forever. It was truly a special night and largely in part of DJ Evan. We highly recommend to use his service if you want a DJ that knows how to read a crowd and to get all your guests out of their seats! -

Evan was so great to work with and played the best music at our wedding! We had the best time and had so many great compliments on the music from our guests. RUN. DON’T WALK. Book Evan for your wedding!
My sister surprised gifted us with Evan as our wedding DJ and we could literally not be happier with everything he did for us. He sent me information and details a year out from our wedding date, and was so kind, professional and responsive up to the minute before. The vibes and music were on point all night and our guests AND vendors went out of their way to compliment how good the dance floor was from beginning to end. Evan plays the best mixes and seamlessly blended from one song to the next without a hitch. If it is possible to book him for all of our big life events for years to come, we will! Thanks isn’t enough!

Evan was an awesome DJ for our party!
We met Evan at a friend's party a year or two ago where he was hired to spin and thought he was great. So when it came time to hire a DJ for our own party, I reached right out to him. I found Evan to be responsive and pleasant during the process of planning for the party. At the party, Evan kept our friends entertained and busy dancing with great music and cool dance floor lighting. I expect our party will be an annual thing and we'll be sure to hire Evan again! -

We are so amazed by the outstanding work of Evan! We hired Evan to dj our NYE wedding and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Best. DJ. Ever
Evan nailed it for our wedding on July 23, 2022 at Bloom Meadows in Hancock, Ma. He played all the jams we wanted to hear and he made our vision come true with the ceremony entrances and exits along with the reception introductions! If I missed something, he made sure to remind me what I needed and he was super easy to talk to and work with. He is a great DJ and also just a great person overall. I would highly recommend him to anyone for any event!!!! -

Flexible, Fun and Responsive

We cannot say enough amazing things about him - from professionalism, responsiveness and taste in music, he made our ceremony and wedding day so seamless and memorable! It’s been a month since we got married - and we vividly remember loving every. Single. Song. That came on next. After a long process of looking for the perfect wedding dj we came across DJ Hevan and we are glad we did. After reading through all of his great review we decided to go forward with him. He was great and set us a bunch of his demos for us to hear out. He is very thorough, and well organized which really helped us out a lot in the planning stage. DJ Hevan catered to all of our request and worked through every last minute change without any issues. He is extremely polite and professional, took all of our stress from planning away! Id say we were definitely not the easiest with the music variety everything from Christian to Pop to Reggaeton but he was able to make it work and mixed them flawlessly. If your looking for a DJ for any event, rest assured DJ Hevan is your man. 100% would recommend and will book again for any event we host! -

We hired Evan after receiving a recommendation from a wedding photographer. We were originally supposed to have a big wedding of 150 people, but because of Covid, had to do a small intimate wedding. Evan was very communicative through the whole planning process and was there to ensure us that everything would work out with all of the Covid obstacles we faced. Even with our smaller wedding, he kept the party going all night long. He plays/mixes the best music, hit after hit. All night, all my wedding guests were complimenting us on our DJ selection. If we ever need a DJ again in the future, we wouldn’t even think about not using him again! Picking a DJ for your wedding is hard because you never really know what you’re going to get and it is one of the most important decisions. But trust me, he will not let you down and your wedding will be a party. -

If I could give a million stars, I would!! I usually forget to write these things(terrible, and true) but Evan was so awesome that I made it a point to remember to write this one! He was so great to work with, prior to our wedding, and through out the entire day/night. My Husband and I had to postpone our original date (due to Covid) and then we ended up canceling our big reception and opted to do a smaller “backyard” celebration. Evan was so helpful and supportive of all the changes we made through out the process. We were totally unsure of how our guests would feel about dancing(since this was everyone’s first event since quarantine) but everyone had such a great time. I am still hearing people say how much they LOVED our DJ and they were bummed when he left. We also didn’t even give him any specific types of music or songs we wanted to hear, we just let him do his thing and we couldn’t be happier! I have no doubt that if we had our big reception with all 170 guests the dance floor would have been crazy all night!!
On top of providing great entertainment, Evan took complete charge of the day and was able to ensure everything went smoothly. He was in constant communication with myself and the rest of the wedding party to let us know where we stood on time. Honestly, if it wasn’t for Evan I would not have been able to enjoy my own wedding day. My husband and I can not wait for our next big party so we can book Evan to DJ!! -

I’m so happy we booked Evan! He kept the dance floor jumping (literally we were jumping) the whole time. He’s a real club DJ. Knows exactly when to blend into the next song and knows exactly what people want. He checked in so many times prior and during to make sure we were on the same page that I knew my wedding was gonna be in good hands, but to actually see it? Multiple generations shaking it on the dance floor. He made my wedding so fun. Truly!!!
