So professional and organized!

We used DMV for our wedding and as soon as we booked them we were instantly impressed. The online portal has everything you can thing of like timeline, song suggestions, do not play list. Chris was so organized and on top of everything, it was a huge stress reliever. At the reception everyone was up and dancing throughout the night. I don't think it is possible to book a better DJ than DMV! So happy with our wedding!

Excellent DJ, Amazing Dance Party

Chris was WONDERFUL to work with from start to finish. We hired him over 2 years ago for our April 2020 wedding and he stuck with us through 3 wedding dates - we finally got to celebrate with him in August 2021. Chris is extremely responsive, very well-spoken, and easy-going. We loved working with him and he made the process easy. His online database allowed us to easily find and request songs. We told him we wanted a lot of country music (our wedding was on a farm) and we also wanted a great dance party. Chris picked the music perfectly - he chose all of the songs we love and the dance flooor was full the entire night.

Also worth noting that we had a somewhat complicated venue - the ceremony was in a relatively remote field with two different sites for our cocktail hour and reception. Chris handled it well and everything went seamlessly. I would highly recommend DMV Premier Entertainment!

High Skilled, Professional and Easy to Work With!

Through multiple rescheduled days and changes of plans, Chris was with us each step of the way and helped us finally execute the wedding of our dreams. Not only are Chris and his team upmost professionals-- skilled in their craft and easy to work with-- the DMV Premier Entertainment platform made planning a breeze. We were able to add all the nuances we wanted for our reception via the online form, including the ROS, song list (or NOT play), music cuts/cues, and more. Our families and guests loved the wedding music and dance floor, and Chris also got rave reviews from our venue/onsite coordinator who acknowledged his professionalism and competence after the fact.

Would highly recommend DMV Premier Entertainment for anyone in the DC area looking for a great musical experience.

Awesome and fun!

Brandee was the best! She worked with us to make sure she played what we wanted for all our specific events during the ceremony and reception, from walking down the isle to the garter toss! She kept the party rolling. She was very responsive and always willing for a video chat to make sure we were on the same page!

Great DJ, easy to work with!

Chris was great to work with and made the planning process super easy. He walked us through the choices we needed to make and his online planning tools made picking music simple and easy (even songs that weren't on the list). He was great the day of the wedding too, was flexible with timing and checked in with us throughout the day to make sure things were going well. Awesome DJ!

Chris with DMV DJs was awesome to work with! Throughout our wedding planning process, he was always up front and transparent with his service offerings and prices. We had a planning call with Chris prior to the wedding and he talked through the ceremony logistics with us to better understand what we were looking for out of our wedding music and helped talk us through additional details around the use of microphones and timing of our wedding dances. His online system was great in the planning process! During the ceremony, Chris was highly professional and did an amazing job as a DJ. Everyone we talked to that attended the wedding commented on how awesome the DJ and music selection was. We would highly recommend using DMV DJs for anyone looking for a great DJ for their wedding or other event!

Excellent Experience

Working with DMV Premier Entertainment was a pleasure from the start. We met our DJ, Chris, almost right away and were setup with their online system used to add songs requests, timeline details, etc. While working through the contract, my Wife and I had some questions that Chris was extremely attentive to and willing to help. He was excellent.

Regarding the online system, it made the process very smooth. Again, having access from the start allowed us to become familiar with it and add all the necessary details. Many of the songs that we wanted were already in their database which was great. And if they weren’t Chris was able to make it happen for us.

On the day of our wedding, Chris was top notch. He delivered everything as we requested and helped contribute to the unforgettable experience. We highly recommend DMV Premier Entertainment.

Excellent DJ

DMV Premier Entertainment was hands down the best choice for our wedding. Their client platform was so professional and easy to use. It seriously made planning so so easy. I was able to put all the song requests down in one place (Sorry Chris, there was A LOT!) and even click through a list of "Most requested" songs when I was stuck. Chris was so easy to work with and made me feel at ease when I was concerned about pleasing my Greek family with the music they like. Chris is so incredibly kind and amazing at his job. He knew exactly what to play and what kind of music suited us best as a couple. I will admit dancing is not my thing and I was worried I would regret not dancing enough, but Christ got me out on the dance floor 1 song in and kept it going the whole night! Thank you for making my terrible dancing more bearable!

The DJ You Want!

Chris was amazing! From the start he was incredibly responsive - from emails over small details to a phone call to cover our song choices and timeline. We have very eclectic music preferences and Chris made the effort to find any songs we pre selected to make sure they would be played at the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Chris seamlessly set everything up including our friend who played music for the ceremony and only made himself known when needed. The dance floor was full ALL NIGHT with compliments from all our guests on the music. Would recommend DMV Premier DJs and Chris for any event!

Awesome DJ's!!

We worked with Paul (DJ PJ) from DMV Premier Entertainment for our wedding and he made the day even more special! Their website made planning the event especially easy - it allows you to set up a schedule for the day, request songs for the ceremony and reception and create a "do not play" list. I gave Paul an idea of the music that we liked, but let him take the reins from there and we were so happy with the results! It was really important to me that people danced at our wedding and our dance floor was packed the entire night. My friends and relatives, young and old, all raved about how good the music was - we even got Grandma on the dance floor! Paul also put together and epic Whitney Houston-Rhianna mash-up that illustrated his skill. Last, DMV was able to provide up-lighting for our venue at a much more reasonable rate than most of the lighting companies that I researched. Paul was so easy to work with and we would hire DMV again in a heartbeat!

We are so happy we booked DJ Chris!

We LOVED DJ Chris and he made our wedding a night to remember!

We booked DJ Chris for our wedding based on wedding wire reviews and talking to him on the phone. We are SO glad we went with him. Chris is so knowledgeable about the various sound systems and the specifics of providing music for a wedding. Chris is very calm/chill but knows how to turn it on and pump up the crowd when necessary. Our dance floor was full from the moment the ballroom opened to the moment the venue staff were cleaning the tables. Chris did an amazing job reading the crowd and picking songs that fit the energy of the room. I was never once concerned or stressed about an empty dance floor.

Our dinner food was running late and Chris had to be flexible and play dinner music longer than he was originally scheduled for. He did a great job with this. He also made sure our event was running on time and made announcements at certain times to do so. He is definitely not a DJ that hogs the mic all night, which I appreciated. He lets the crowd run the party but keeps his pulse on the room the whole time.

The planning website is so useful for picking songs. He has a huge inventory of songs and the interface is very intuitive. You just go online and select the songs you want to play during dinner, cocktail hour, etc. We had very specific songs we wanted during dinner and Chris made sure he downloaded those songs and had them for us.
Look no further and work with Chris!! He is talented and reliable.

Highly Recommend!

DJ Murray was awesome! He played upbeat music and my guests danced the night away. He was able to accommodate some last minute requests, and I had some of my guests say that it was the best wedding they've ever attended! The DJ sets the tone of the evening, and I believe it played big part in the positive feedback. A wonderful mix of music was played-old and new, and he even provided uplighting. He offers a very user friendly wedding planning website that allows you to plan your special day all out to keep him informed and to submit song requests. If anyone is considering hiring him for your next event...you don't want to miss out!

Best DJ Crew Ever

PJ was AMAZING! All of my guests have commented that they were unable to take any pictures because they were too busy dancing. He was able to adapt on the fly and roll with our party crowd. I would highly recommend DMV Premier Entertainment.

Awesome DJ!

We hired Chris at DMV Premier Entertainment for our 11/10/2018 wedding. He was incredibly easy to work with - extremely responsive, knowledgable, and flexible. Everything you could possibly want in a successful wedding vendor!
The planning process is incredibly easy, as you're provided with your own online portal to customize your wedding ceremony and reception (or whatever event you're hiring him for). After the online customization and a few conference calls, we had an awesome playlist at our wedding, with both our input and Chris' picks... we had people on the dance floor for almost three hours straight. It was so much fun!
We had some last minute changes to our night and no one noticed, as Chris adapted to them pretty easily. He also provided the microphones for the officiant, ceremony readers, toasts, and for one of our groomsmen to sing to Shakira at one point in the night.
I'll continue to recommend Chris and DMV Premier Entertainment to anyone who is in need of a DJ!

They brought the party!

I planned to write a review of our DJs after the wedding, but got totally sidetracked and forgot about it for almost a year - but we walked into a wedding reception recently, saw them on the stage, and knew it was going to be a good time, so here I am to finally review them! Finding a good DJ was one of my husband's top priorities in wedding planning, and we had a specific budget we wanted to stick to. Christopher got back to me within an hour of submitting an inquiry form and was able to meet my budget. Their online song selection system is super easy to use and made sure the songs we wanted played were included, and the songs we don't like didn't play on our day. They were super professional and not at all cheesy during the reception. They kept us on schedule, and once the dancing started, it didn't stop until the end of the night. We had a friend sing our first dance song live, and they did the soundcheck and hookup for her mic and guitar, when some other DJs said we would need to bring our own separate sound equipment for that. Throughout the night, Christopher and Paul were awesome at reading the crowd and did a great job mixing songs - sometimes it was almost the whole song, and sometimes it was a shorter snippet that's best for dancing. Our reception was absolutely incredible, and they really set the tone. I would recommend them to anyone (which is how our friends found them for their wedding!), and I would hire them again in an instant.

Customizable and amazing

My husband and I can be picky with music as we don’t like a lot of top 40 music currently. We were afraid of this with hiring a DJ but Chris has an amazing client portal where we can put songs we have to have played as well as don’t even think about playing these. We were able to make the music fit our personalities with a great mix of oldies and alternative with some 90s and a few top 40s mixed together. Our guests even said how much they loved the wide variety so everyone got something they liked to hear. We are super happy with the decision to hire DMV Premier.

Professional DJ that you can trust

We emailed DJ Chris after attending our friend's wedding in 2016 for which he was the DJ. We walked away that night with such a great impression of Chris- he was super professional, not at all cheesy, and my friend's dance floor was packed the entire night. I checked in with my friend after her wedding and she had great things to say about working with him. Once we started planning our own wedding, he was the first DJ we emailed. We found Chris and his team to be the one of the most responsive vendors we spoke with- email responses were usually within a few minutes or hours! DMV Premier Entertainment's pricing was definitely reasonable, and they were super helpful and patient in explaining to us our options and what would work with the slightly complex arrangement we had (uplighting, mics, outdoor ceremony with separate areas for cocktail hour and reception).

We also loved the system they had for selecting songs- it was super intuitive and customizable. We had some oddball requests for songs and Chris either already had versions of them or assured us he would be able to take care of them. Signing with Chris for our wedding was one of the easiest decisions we made in wedding planning. The day of our wedding Chris and Paul showed up and ran everything so smoothly- zero hiccups! And they were amazing! We had quite a few guests tell us (during the wedding!) how great the DJs were!! Chris and Paul managed to get everyone dancing- even people we've never seen dance. We've already recommended DMV Premier Entertainment to some newly engaged friends and we'll definitely use them again for any other events needing a DJ. They were a 10/10- highly recommend!

We hired DMV for our daughter's wedding. Hiring a DJ was one of the more stressful things because they are such a huge part of the success of your event! I read reviews and decided based on those, his affordable pricing, and his fast responses to me, that I would go with DMV. Chris was AWESOME! He was so easy to work with and incredibly responsive! His online planning system is the best thing for anyone having a wedding!!!! The ease of entering all the details and song requests was really great. Ceremony music was perfect, and for the reception the guests were on the dance floor from the first song to the last dance! He was fantasic and the perfect DJ for our daughter's wedding! If you're looking for great responsive communication and an amazing event, then I suggest you hire DMV! I highly recommend them!!

My fiancé and I wanted a beachy, laid back wedding with great music and that’s exactly what we got. Chris was our wedding DJ and he did an incredibly job! The online song selection was easy to use and he included every song on our Must Play List. He also met with us a few weeks before the wedding and helped us refine our reception timeline. During the reception, there was a lull after the bouquet toss and the dance floor cleared. Paul with DMV Premier Entertainment was absolutely amazing. We are a military family moving overseas, so our wedding was a quick-turnaround type of event. But he was there right from the beginning to meet up in person, answer our questions no matter how late at night or how stupid, and helped us create a party that all our friends and family have told us was the time of their lives (it was the time of our life too!). Their digital database of song selections is enormous, and even when I wanted to walk down the aisle to one that wasn't on there, they found it and made sure it happened. Paul also helped fulfill a very special family wish on the fly. He kept the party going and was great at reading the room, figuring out what type of music could both facilitate a chill atmosphere, as well as how and when to pump up the crowd and get everyone dancing. They worked with our budget and offered a very generous military discount, which is never assumed but always appreciated. Thank you so much to Paul and DMV Premier Entertainment - you made our night a huge success!

DMV Premier was top notch at my sister's wedding this past weekend. They have been a joy to work with and their responsiveness during the planning process was unparalleled! Chris responded to every question no matter how big or small in such a timely fashion and with such genuine care, it really made my sister feel like he cared about the outcome of her day. Once they arrived the day of, it was clear that these guys are true professionals- they came early for set up both outside and inside, they were dressed professionally and help keep things on track throughout the day! Every single guest commented on the great music they chose and they did a great job of mixing it with the songs we chose for the reception. The real highlight was when they included gospel music and the whole room lit up with excitement! Even though the wedding was small, we had a blast like a packed house and that was thanks to these two wonderful guys! I would recommend them over and over! Chris was a great fit for my wedding! He was super quick to respond to any inquiries I had and even met with me at the venue beforehand to go over the lighting setup and timeline for the day. In addition, he was very accommodating as my husband had a special request to play a song for two of our groomsmen and make them slow dance to it as a joke. At the beginning of the night not many people were dancing, but Chris played music that got everyone on their feet. I had an absolute blast and he was a great DJ! In addition, the planning form/website he has for setting everything up is super easy to use. I loved that I could pick exactly what songs I wanted, and also songs I didn't want to be played. The timeline function was really great for helping me figure out how to plan out the night. Overall great service for a great price!!

I wish there was a way to show that, while DJ Murray (Christopher Murray) was "5 star" for everything here, his Flexibility should be higher! He was great with everything, transitioning from our ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception seamlessly, dealing with the heat (we were in the upstairs of a barn on an 87 degree day!), and making awesome pivots between important events.
As I said though, his flexibility with our strange requests was impeccable, and is what impressed me most about his services. Four separate times, he took my direction to change the song he had queued up next, to accommodate our needs. First it was the request to play a separate song for a "stepmother of the groom dance,'' then it was to play Wagon Wheel at a specific time when my bride and I were finally together to commemorate our recent move to Raleigh, followed by AC/DC's Thunderstruck and Toto's Africa (requested for an encore). Oh, and I almost forgot the Last Dance, where my bride's dress caused a delay for her getting back to the dance floor, and he restarted the song for us to make sure we enjoyed it.
I was impressed with everything he did, but the ability to incorporate songs last minute that he had in the library for us was extra special, because I know it can be a pain, and it doesn't give him a lot of time to do it with a smooth transition in the thirty seconds before the current song ends.
Another thing that we really liked was their online portal for us to choose songs and design our wedding sequence of events, toasts, and important moments in which the DJ would be involved. It really streamlined everything and made it easy to put in notes and requests, specific phrasing we'd like, etc. If you're just in the beginning stages of planning a wedding, I cannot emphasize enough how much this helps.
I highly recommend this company, and DJ Murray -- the professionalism, responsiveness, and flexibility are exactly what you're looking for for your wedding.

Christopher was so organized before the wedding and also such a great hit on the day-of. He has created an online portal that lets you request songs and create a flow of the ceremony & reception. He was very collaborative and really helped us bring to life exactly what we wanted. He also did an amazing job with reading the crowd. He had everyone dancing all night with a mix of what we had requested and what people requested on the spot. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ!!

Paul was a great wedding DJ. He felt out the mood of the crowd and was one step ahead of the music for the crowd. Every song choice fit the moment perfectly. He also helped us execute playing the GOT theme as our guests arrived and it was great to hear people talk about it afterwards.

Chris did an excellent job. He was incredibly responsive (even emailed me while he was on vacation) and so easy to work with. Having Chris and Paul be a part of our wedding planning process made everything run so smoothly! I contacted them months in advance before my wedding and I got a response within hours. I spoke to Chris over the phone for an initial consultation. He was attentive to all of my questions and clearly described the experience they wanted the bride, groom, and our guests to have. Compared to other vendors I had contacted, they were the most responsive, flexible, and they were competitively priced, so we moved forward with them! Paul was our DJ for our wedding day. I provided him a timeline of events in advance. At the reception Paul did not restrict himself to this timeline; instead, he read the crowd and checked in with my husband and I and decided when the next event should take place. With his guidance, we felt little stress during the reception and we got to enjoy the party with our guests! He played a variety of music including some tunes that got all of my Australian family onto the dance floor! Working with DMV Premier Entertainment made my wedding experience that much better. We all know how stressful weddings/planning can be, but Chris made this part of the planning process that much easier. He made himself available anytime we needed, willing to adjust the timeline on the day of the event and even during the event. The website was very user friendly and showed us where we could find more optins for songs/suggestions. Speaking with Chris about a week before, he was able to mark parts of the song where we wanted to fade out. I do not anything that we would have changed/improved about our experience as DMV Premier Entertainment made it a very memorable day. The best part was when we gave Chris a genre that we wanted to hear and he had a list of songs he thought we would like and he nailed it.

My husband and I wanted a party and that is just what we got. One of the biggest discussion while planning our wedding was to make sure we had music that would be able to get our guest on the dance floor. First let me say that Chris has a huge variety of music to choose from. Nearly anything that you can think of from oldies to the newest hit, he has you covered. We booked with DMV Premier Entertainment a year and a half before our wedding day. I loved being able to have online access to my very own account that allowed me to look through all of the music and to plan out my wedding details on my time. I also loved how organized everything is online. If you don't wish to look through all of the music, Chris has a perfect set up of categories ranging from decades, to the top requested songs, to first dance and cake cutting songs, etc. It is definitely helpful to have things like this once wedding planning starts getting stressful. My husband and I love a huge variety of music and wanted to be able to play music that would be enjoyable for both of our families so we picked out a few of our must plays and some possibility and let Chris take it from there. On the day of our wedding Dj Chris and Dj Pete gave us exactly what we were looking for. We had a perfect blend of old school mixed with new that kept our guest dancing the night away. I also appreciate how responsive Chris was to all of my emails and so accommodating. I had to make a couple of changes 2-3 days before my wedding and he was on top of it without any hesitation. We had some special request songs that we needed for the ceremony and reception that aren't really mainstream radio play & was not apart of his music catalog, but he was able to provide them for us. Not only that, but one of the biggest special request that we had was playing a different song for each couple of the wedding party as they walked into the reception. Wow. There are endless reasons I could rave on and on about Christopher and Paul. From the moment I contacted Chris through email he was polite, professional, prompt and inviting. On our wedding day they did a wonderful job reading our guests and kept the mood of the night perfect. We had a couple nitpicky requests, such as having the up-lighting be turned on at a specific time, and they handled our requests with ease and executed them perfectly. Our selection of music was all over the place with multiple genres and music from multiple countries. The flow of the night was perfect and they played 99.9% of our requested songs... I know that would have been a full 100% if we had more time :D I hands down recommend them to anyone looking for talented, friendly DJ's at a reasonable price. They were a HUGE part of why our special day was such a success! Thanks guys!

Perfect in every way !!
As a wedding coordinator, they have "saved the day" many times for my clients. Most recently, brought more equipment than they were asked to which saved the day as the wedding couple continued to change up their event by adding in solo singers (in different locations), requesting specific music for dancing, staying beyond the contracted time. PJ didn't bat an eye, he rolled with every change with the utmost professionalism and kindness. The wedding would not have been as special had it not been for them.
Absolutely my go-to-recommendation for all events, small affairs to large weddings. When they are involved, I know there is one less thing I have to worry about.

We had a great experience with DMV for our wedding on 3/18. We originally booked with Paul, but due to a personal emergency he had to back out a few days before our wedding. He made sure to have a backup (Chris) available, and briefed him on all of our requests ahead of time. They made sure to honor my "Definitely Play" and "Do Not Play" requests (from what I remember at least,t he whole night was a blur lol), but were flexible when I changed my mind after a family member got very upset that I had banned the Electric Slide and were able to still play it upon request (after getting confirmation from me that it was okay). Their website is extremely convenient to use and made the whole planning process much easier.

We held a Father/Daughter Dance and DJ Murray was absolutely fantastic! He knew how to get the crowd involved and moving. The entire night, dads were up and dancing with the girls -- no sitting on the sidelines, staring at phones, which was a feat in and of itself. The girls also loved the selections that he played. DJ Murray was professional, courteous, entertaining, and up-to-date on the latest hits; all while keeping it "clean" and fun. We will definitely be using his services again!

We had a DJ for our wedding decided on for almost our whole engagement, but last minute were let down & had to frantically find someone to cover our wedding. Surprisingly, we found quite a few DJ’s who were available for our date so short notice, but when we saw how quickly and enthusiastically Chris with DMV responded, we knew they were right for us. We really wanted someone who seemed as excited as we were and someone who could really pull off the big dance party we were envisioning. We only had a couple weeks before the wedding and Chris & Paul were SO helpful. We got to plan out our whole wedding on their website and could go back to it whenever we knew what we had decided on. It made planning so much easier (as all the brides out there know, the to-do lists are endless, having something like this made it so much easier - I mostly left it up to my fiancé because it was so easy to use and he enjoyed being able to pick out song requests). Chris even got a few emails from my father, and was very patient as my dad sent him more and more song requests without us knowing. Obviously the music was the highlight of the wedding plans, my dad was thrilled with the fast friend he made with Chris. We built a dance floor in the middle of no where on a freezing November night, & Chris and Paul played the absolute best mix of music that kept everyone warm on the dance floor all night. Both sides of the family knew how important a DJ was, both had high hopes for the music that night & both were seriously impressed by how awesome it was. A little side story-during toasts my husband realized he had no drink & was trying to find someone who could sneakily get him one while his brother was giving an awesome speech, & Paul came to the rescue! Seriously, out of no where. It was a little highlight of the evening that we keep talking about. The music was legitimately the most important thing for our wedding and Paul & Chris went above and beyond our expectations.

Chris was an excellent choice for our wedding from beginning to end! His online system for selecting music was really easy to use and we loved that we were able to be in control of our music selections. On the day of the wedding, Chris showed up on time and kept our dance floor packed all night long. I can't tell you how many compliments we got on the music! Chris definitely read the crowd and played songs he felt would work (whether or not they were on our list). He was also fantastic at making announcements - he stayed on schedule and wasn't cheesy when making them. He was flexible when some unexpected changes were made during the evening (like when we changed some of our bus departure times and decided to rid of the garter exchange dance.) We really can't say enough good things about Chris and will definitely recommend him to anyone we know getting married in the area.

We came across DMV Premier Entertainment on Wedding Wire, and after reading reviews posted by other people, we decided to reach out to them for our wedding. We were immediately impressed by DJ Chris's professionalism and timeliness in responding to our emails. We set up an initial phone consult with him to describe our vision for the music for our wedding. I am half Ethiopian and half Nigerian, and my husband is Kenyan, so we had a lot of diverse music requests for what we wanted played at our reception. DJ Chris was very enthusiastic and expressed his familiarity with the different genres of music we had selected. Even though the online portal didn't have some of the songs we wanted played, DJ Chris informed us that he would assist us in getting the songs for us. The online planning portal is amazing and is very easy to use. We were able to select all the songs we wanted played and categorized them into "must play," "maybe play" and "do not play" lists. We were also able to include our reception itinerary on the portal so that DJ Chris would know what songs to play at different points during the reception.

Prior to the wedding, we met with DJ Chris in person and he was incredibly organized and went through everything with us. He focused on the important details of the evening and made sure he knew how to correctly pronounce the names of our family members and bridal party. During the reception, he kept the dance floor packed all night long and our guests really enjoyed the music selections. He even got people who are self proclaimed non-dancers, to get up and dance! DJ Chris showed up on time to set up and the uplighting he provided added a great touch to the ballroom space. We highly recommend DJ Chris and DMV Premier Entertainment to anyone looking for DJ, lighting and MC services. The value for the services is great and we would hire DJ Chris again in a heart beat.

Chris provided us with phenomenal service and worked hard to make sure we had a blast on our wedding day!

He drove far out of his way to meet us for our first consultation and was quick to answer any questions we had all throughout the process. The online planning software provided by DMV Premier Entertainment really helped me as a bride plan the timeline for the day and allowed me to pick the songs I wanted. If it wasn't in the system, Chris worked to find the exact song I was looking for.

We had an outdoor tented wedding during one of the hottest days on record but Chris showed up and delivered a great time. He read the room and had even had the "non dancers" out on the dance floor, which is an impressive feat considering we were dancing in 100 degree heat.

I'm so glad we booked with DMV Premier Entertainment. If you want quality service and a fun wedding, book the DMV guys!

If you want to make absolutely sure your DJ understands the sound and mood you want for your event, book DMV. The online portal they use is a great planning tool that really helps the planning process. Chris' review of information you provide, attention to detail, and clarification of your supplied information fostered confidence that his team would perform their responsibilities to our expectations. Chris at DMV Premier Entertainment DJ'd our elementary school dance now for the second year in a row. IT WAS AMAZING! DMV Premier Entertainment, LLP. was an absolute pleasure to work with. Chris was our primary POC and he is incredibly organized, yet laid back. We had access to a customized DJ planning tool that allowed us to select from a variety of songs from "must-plays" to "do-not-plays" on our special day. They even have recommended playlists categorized by decade, genre, etc. to help you get started! We could even customize notes on song selections if we wanted to make a special shout-out to our friends and family to get out on the dance floor. I could ask questions in our "client area" and they were always answered immediately. The planning tool is so incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend taking the time to think about what type of music you want on your big day. You don't have to put a ton of requests, as DMV Premier is totally capable to provide a fantastic service with little direction. But, I feel that it helped Chris get to know us and our personalities well, so he could add more music than was on our must-play list that fit our style and the energy level we wanted to keep the party fun all night. TOTAL SUCCESS!

Chris was instrumental (no pun intended) on keeping the energy up and our guests partying all night. I never saw the dance floor empty and the crowd was loving every moment. He worked incredibly well with all the other vendors as well to make sure everything was organized as we had best man/matron of honor speeches, cake cutting, introductions, first dance, anniversary dance, bouquet toss, etc. All events flowed incredibly smoothly and he was very attentive that all the appropriate parties were present before announcements were made. The event was seamlessly coordinated and we couldn't be happier! We will be recommending DMV Premier to all of our friends...in fact! some of our guests have already booked for their weddings later this summer!

Chris was amazing! I found him through a wedding I had shot (I'm a wedding photographer) and loved him. He was very nice and helpful through out the whole planning process. I love the fact that he had an online portal that I was able to add and subtract music on my own! Will recommend to everyone!

Chris was awesome from start to finish. He met with us prior to the event to make sure all planning needed was taken care of - and provided some much appreciated guidance. We felt greatly at ease after meeting with Chris and felt DJ services were no longer something we had to concern ourselves with for the event because we felt such complete confidence in Chris's skills. The site he uses to choose music was very helpful in planning, and made it easy to pick songs for certain areas through the most commonly used songs feature. There was a storm the day of the wedding that made Chris's duties pretty challenging due to a few power surges, but his experience and being prepared for the unexpected resulted in quick - almost unnoticeable surges in sound by utilizing a backup system to cover things while the primary system reset. We couldn't have asked for anything better for the sound portion of our event, would definitely use Chris again, and highly recommend him to others.

My wife and I were very satisfied with the service provided by DJ Murray and MixofSound! We provided a list of suggestions and the DJ created an amazing mix to play for the reception. The guests had nothing but positive things to say about the music and continue to dance until the last song was played. We highly recommend MixofSound!

The services provided by Mix of Sound were great and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a DJ. Chris is a good friend of mine who I met through college and I always knew he had a side DJ-ing business. So when I got engaged I knew I had to find a competent DJ who would be able to handle a large crowd. My wife is half Greek and comes from a large family. Chris handled the large crowd extremely well.

I was also impressed with the way he handled working with a Greek band. My mother in law wanted a Greek band because obviously we needed to cater to the Greek crowd too. All of the transitions from Greek to American music were all very smooth. He knew which songs to play to pump the crowd up. You could tell he is a seasoned DJ.

The introductions were also done properly. He pronounced everyone's name correctly and that is a tough task because we have many diverse names in our family and friends circle.

Overall, I would recommend Mix of Sound to anyone, no matter what the occasion. Chris is flexible, smart and professional. He will sit down with you to ensure your special day runs smoothly.

We had the pleasure of working with Chris from Mix of Sound to set up our wedding music for our reception. He was very courteous, professional, and available to help when needed. It was very convenient and fun to use the provided website to login and create our playlist for our wedding.

The day of our wedding was magnificent, the announcing of the wedding party went smoothly and the guests were always packed on the dance floor. I would definitely recommend the wonderful service of Mix of Sound to anyone that is in need of a DJ for a reception or other event.

Outside of getting married, of course-the music at our wedding was of HUGE importance to my husband. I wanted to make sure to find a DJ that was flexible (so that my husband could have a say in what type of music would be played), professional, and knew how to show my guests a great time.

Alex and Chris of Mix of Sound did not disappoint. The entire process of choosing music for our wedding was made very easy with their interactive website. Chris was professional and helpful throughout the entire planning process. It was a relief to find a vendor that took care of nearly everything for us.

The day of our wedding Chris and Alex took care of everything. They provided sound for our ceremony as well as great music for our party. The dance floor was always moving and all of our guests had a wonderful time.

I would HIGHLY recommend Mix of Sound for any event.

Chris was very professional from start to finish. He was accommodating in setting up our initial meeting to go over music, timeline, etc. He had every song we requested and didn't skip a beat with any questions we had. He made great suggestions to make our music and event better based on his experience. When it came time for the big day he arrived early to setup and test all his equipment before any guests arrived. He had no problem with pronunciation and clarity when introducing the wedding party. Once the dancing began people did not leave the dance floor. He was not pressuring and made sure the event ran as we wanted not as he wanted. He offers an outstanding service and I would highly recommend him for your event.

Chris and Alex, the DJs, were AWESOME! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. We gave them a list of must have songs and the times we wanted them played, and they nailed it! They went and found every song that we requested. At one point or another, everyone was on the dance floor.

Mix of Sound was a pleasure to do business with when it came to our wedding. Out of all the wedding planning, the DJ was the ONLY thing we didn't have to worry about. Mix of Sound handled all the preparation in a professional and timely matter. On the day of the wedding, the DJ was well prepared and kept the dance floor packed. His announcing was very clear and respectful as well. I would recommend Mix of Sound for ANY entertainment occasion - not just weddings.

Extremely responsive company with easy communication. I do not see many/any reviews for our DJ, Peter, so want to share some insights about him in case you are wondering if you should hire him. Peter was so much fun, easy to talk to, and went above and beyond the work that my fiance and I had requested that he do. Having him there was like having a friend at our wedding who also happened to be a great DJ with professional equipment. He made some great choices for songs, so make sure to give him some room to do what he does best!

Great Overall Experience

Chris was great to work with. The music database was easy to use and had so much to choose from. If they didn't have one of the songs we requested, they made sure to get it. Prior to our wedding Chris went through everything with us via phone, including how to pronounce the names of our Bridal Party. This may seem like a small detail, but it was very important to us. Would definitely recommend DMV Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ and great experience.
