Sin duda alguna, nuestra boda fue un ensueño que se convirtió en realidad, fue mejor de lo que pedimos y mejor de lo que detallamos al inicio de la planeación, mi esposo y yo presentamos todas nuestras ideas y deseos D'Louigene Wedding Planner Specialist lo volvió una realidad increíble.
Cada detalle fue tan especial y simbólico para nosotros. Disfruté nuestra boda en cada momento y proceso, sin estrés ni preocupaciones, porque me sentí en las mejores manos, no me preocupé absolutamente de nada relacionado al evento. Memory that will last a lifetime!
I cannot express how incredible the services of D'Louigene and his staff were! I had the very special honor of planning my parent’s vow renewal after 46 years of marriage and I am lucky to have had this team in my corner!
Our event was a “destination” wedding; therefore, I was looking for a wedding planner locally in the Dominican Republic while I was sitting in the states (that on its own was a bit scary due to distance). I was referred to D’Louigene and I sourced 2 other wedding planners to compare.
From the moment I spoke to D'Louigene, he was professional, genuine, creativity, really tuned in and listened to my needs (I am very particular lol!). With this being my parent’s day, I stayed involved in every detail. D'Louigene not only welcomed it but took it so personal that it felt as if he was planning for his own parents. I had a very specific vision for the day and he and his team were not only able to interpret take what was in my head, but also make it come to life. They thought of every detail and communication was seamless throughout the entire process. Being long distance, I needed someone I could trust, and he effortlessly coordinated with vendors, ensuring everything came together.
One of the most impressive aspects of him and his team, was their ability to troubleshoot and adapt to any unexpected challenges. When our venue didn’t have enough staff members to serve on the buffet line, his team jumped into action (literally!!)…part of his team jumped behind the buffet line to help serve and saved the day! His calm demeanor and quick thinking put us at ease, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves into the moment without worrying about logistics.
The wedding day itself was beautiful, emotional and a moment we will never forget thanks to the dedication and expertise of D'Louigene Wedding Planner. The day of the event, he had a team focused on my parents from the “getting ready”, to the ceremony and finally the last song of the evening reception. They cared for every need, from adhoc requests (running from room to room with my dad’s insulin!) to ensuring our guests experienced a white glove treatment. Our guests were wowed and to this day they continue to rave about the experience.
If you are looking for an unforgettable wedding experience, look no further. We wholeheartedly recommend D'Louigene Wedding Planner to anyone seeking perfection for their special day. My best friend is thinking of renewing her vows and we already have him on standby 😊.

Amazing work!!!
We were very happy with D'Louigene services. We don't live in the DR, we don't speak spanish and don't know anything about the wedding market in the DR but with Louigene everything were so easy to plan. His services went beyond what we were expected. We still don't how we were going to be able to do any of it in a different country and language but we had our dream wedding and we were satisfied. I highly recommend him and his team. -

I was super excited when I found Louigi he seemed put together and charismatic however his lack of knowledge, professionalism, and honesty became apparent after I sent my deposit.
1. He was originally listed as located in Punta Cana, he's in Santa Domingo
2. Communication is very difficult as he does not speak English and requires a translator which he will charge you for.
3. The vendors he uses are only located in Santa Domingo, he does not tell you this. So to use these vendors they are 4x's as much as in Punta Cana. We spent $1600 on hair and makeup for 3 people and the vendor did not stay through the entire event despite being contractually obligated. He also is not clear about the prices of the vendors. He spends the money given to him recklessly and demands more despite being told of your budget.
4. He kept trying to add things to our contract. For instance, he tried to charge us for a party that was included at our resort.
5. He does not listen. We told him of our budget and the things we wanted he said yes we sent a deposit and signed a contract. He did not honor any of our requests. Bait and Switch.
6. We explained we wanted a cake at a vendor in Punta Cana, he tried to have his vendor make our cakes despite being told we wanted them from a particular place then only payed half. I still don't understand how he would transport these cakes logistically and have them freshly prepared considering Santa Domingo is 3 hours away and our wedding wasn't until the 9th and he was supposed to be there on the 7th.
7. He does not understand the concept of a destination wedding and what is required from him. We hired him for 3 days.
8. He didn't understand the concept of wedding coordination as we had already retained an event space and certain vendors.
9. He pretends to know what he is doing but he has no clue. We made all of our itineraries and discussed what we wanted in great detail and he did nothing with that information.
10. Once we found out he was in Santa Domingo we wanted no other vendors from that location as there would be an additional surcharge for travel. We asked for cigars for our wedding guests from Punta Cana he sent an invoice for 25 cigars for $1000. We asked if these were in Punta Cana and they were not. Just for him to transport a small box of cigars her tried to charge an additional $750. We had cigars delivered to our resort for $250. This also happened with bringing coconuts he wanted to charge $800 and they were available on my resort (Club Med) for $2 per coconut.
11. Luigi was fired 2 weeks prior to our event because he tried to charge us for additional monies randomly. He did so sneakily by texting my partner privately instead of in the group thread.
I hate leaving bad reviews but he was the absolute worst and if I can have another bride avoid him and anyone he recommends I will. I literally was crying on my wedding day and trying to find another hair and make up artist at the last minute due to the lack of responsiveness. I have receipts and text messages showing all of this so if you have any questions or seem like this can't be, reach out to us because I just don't want to see another bride conned and scammed on what is supposed to be the most beautiful day of their lives. Good luck and if you have any questions I have some amazing vendors (in Punta Cana) and a fantastic wedding planner/coordinator who literally saved our lives, also one vendor in Santa Domingo who was funny, talented, and professional (our photographer).
Me emocioné mucho cuando encontré a Louigi. Parecía sereno y carismático; sin embargo, su falta de conocimiento, profesionalismo y honestidad se hicieron evidentes después de que envié mi depósito.
1. Originalmente figuraba como ubicado en Punta Cana, está en Santo Domingo.
2. La comunicación es muy difícil ya que él no habla inglés y requiere un traductor por el cual le cobrará.
3. Los vendedores que utiliza solo están ubicados en Santo Domingo, no te dice esto. Entonces, utilizar estos proveedores cuesta 4 veces más que en Punta Cana. Gastamos $1600 en cabello y maquillaje para 3 personas y el proveedor no se quedó durante todo el evento a pesar de estar obligado contractualmente. Tampoco tiene claros los precios de los vendedores. Gasta el dinero que le dan de manera imprudente y exige más a pesar de que le informan de su presupuesto.
4. Siguió intentando agregar cosas a nuestro contrato. Por ejemplo, intentó cobrarnos por una fiesta que estaba incluida en nuestro resort.
5. No escucha. Le contamos nuestro presupuesto y las cosas que queríamos. Él dijo que sí, enviamos un depósito y firmamos un contrato. No cumplió con ninguna de nuestras solicitudes. Cebo y cambio.
6. Le explicamos que queríamos un pastel a un vendedor en Punta Cana, él intentó que su proveedor hiciera nuestros pasteles a pesar de que le dijeron que los queríamos de un lugar en particular y luego solo pagó la mitad. Todavía no entiendo cómo transportaría logísticamente estos pasteles y los tendría recién preparados considerando que Santa Domingo está a 3 horas y nuestra boda no era hasta el día 9 y se suponía que él estaría allí el día 7.
7. No comprende el concepto de boda de destino y lo que se requiere de él. Lo contratamos por 3 días.
8. No entendía el concepto de coordinación de bodas porque ya habíamos contratado un espacio para eventos y ciertos proveedores.
9. Finge saber lo que está haciendo pero no tiene ni idea. Hicimos todos nuestros itinerarios y discutimos lo que queríamos con gran detalle y él no hizo nada con esa información.
10. Una vez que descubrimos que estaba en Santo Domingo, no queríamos otros proveedores de ese lugar ya que habría un recargo adicional por el viaje. Pedimos cigarros para los invitados a nuestra boda desde Punta Cana y envió una factura por 25 cigarros por $1000. Preguntamos si estaban en Punta Cana y no. Sólo para que él transportara una pequeña caja de puros, ella intentó cobrarle $750 adicionales. Nos entregaron cigarros en nuestro resort por $ 250. Esto también sucedió al traer cocos. Quería cobrar $800 y estaban disponibles en mi resort (Club Med) por $2 por coco.
11. Luigi fue despedido 2 semanas antes de nuestro evento porque intentó cobrarnos dinero adicional al azar. Lo hizo furtivamente enviándole un mensaje de texto a mi pareja en privado en lugar de hacerlo en el hilo del grupo.
Odio dejar malas críticas, pero él fue absolutamente el peor y si puedo tener otra novia, evítelo a él y a cualquiera que él recomiende, lo haré. Literalmente estaba llorando el día de mi boda y tratando de encontrar otro peluquero y maquillador en el último minuto debido a la falta de capacidad de respuesta. Tengo recibos y mensajes de texto que muestran todo esto, así que si tiene alguna pregunta o parece que esto no puede ser, comuníquese con nosotros porque simplemente no quiero ver a otra novia estafada y estafada en lo que se supone que es el el día más hermoso de sus vidas. Buena suerte y si tienes alguna pregunta, tengo algunos proveedores increíbles (en Punta Cana) y un fantástico organizador/coordinador de bodas que literalmente nos salvó la vida, también un proveedor en Santo Domingo que fue divertido, talentoso y profesional (nuestro fotógrafo). -
