Winter wedding

DJ Bryan was amazing!
We can’t thank him enough. He was extremely flexible with all our requests, always willing to adapt to what we wanted with a smile. He exceeded all our expectations: the dance floor was packed the whole time thanks to his excellent music mixes, keeping everyone dancing, from the youngest to the oldest. Also, he handled last-minute weather issues with professionalism — he came fully prepared and made sure nothing affected the energy of the event. We highly recommend him for any wedding or event!

Great time with Darrell and DJU!!

Darrell at DJU is quite the entertainer. Full of life and kept everyone on the dance floor. He was the DJ for my son's wedding and it was incredible. The bride and groom were so happy with the music and energy and we loved working with Darrell. I would highly suggest using DJU and request Darrell for a great event!

DJU is amazing!

Just recently had DJU provide the DJ services at our wedding. They were so great and easy to work with. Sound was great, music was great, everything went off without a hitch! Darell Ripley was so helpful in planning with us, and DJ BigBry was the best (he has a voice made for it!). Highly recommend working with them if you need a DJ!

Our wedding dance floor was never empty!!!

DJU Entertainment played my wedding and it was an absolute blast! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Darrell Ripley and his company to any friends/family getting married. Darrell was so easy to get in touch with and had a professional, but enthusiastic attitude throughout the planning process. He made it very easy to send in the music we wanted for the ceremony and reception, and he was also very understanding when I wanted to change things! Our DJ for the wedding night, Rickie, kept people on the dance floor and was wonderful throughout the entire night. He made multiple announcements throughout the night, as requested, and overall did an amazing job. People were singing and dancing the entire wedding, with energy still being high after it was all over! I could not be more pleased with DJU Entertainment and Darrell Ripley's kindness, flexibility, professionalism, and enthusiasm!!!

DJ Darrell Ripley is the best!

Darrell was the DJ for our wedding and he was amazing! Darrell was very communicative and very personable. We didn't have a planner, and the framework he gave me helped tremendously.

On the day of the wedding, we made a few small pivots from the original plan, and again, executed flawlessly. He did an amazing job reading the room. He didn't play any songs on my "do not play" list. Our guests loved Darrell as did we! Highly recommend DJU and DJ Darrell Ripley especially.

Outstanding DJ and Photo Booth for Wedding

This was our second wedding to hire Darrell Ripley with DJU to be the DJ. Darrell did such an outstanding job with our oldest daughter's wedding that when it was time for our second daughter to get married, we knew that we wanted Darrell again. Darrell has quite the gift for reading a crowd and knowing how to keep things going at the perfect pace for the various stages of a reception. From our initial email & phone communications through the end of the wedding reception, Darrell was professional, prompt and engaging. Also, the photo booth and operator did a beautiful job. I was amazed at how many fun photos there were from the party. We will definitely hire DJU again!

Enthusiasm from planning until the last moment of the night!!!

DJU Entertainment was very professional and accessible. Darrell Ripley was our point of contact throughout the planning stages and was extremely enthusiastic. He helped us work through all of the details of our reception and ceremony, including many things we wouldn’t have thought of. We were also very fortunate to have Darrell as our DJ for both an outdoor ceremony and reception. On a windy day, he was attentive to the impact this would have on projecting audio and made sure everyone made appropriate accommodations for this. Throughout our reception, he was present, passionate, and flexible. He paid close attention to our requests and suggestions for musical preferences while still adding his own style and flare. His enthusiasm kept people dancing all night long. We highly recommend Darrell and DJU!

DJ Darrell is the Best!

What a great experience! 100% professional and on schedule. He is friendly, charming, easy to talk to, with a great sense of humor, and kept the crowd partying on the dance floor the whole night. Everyone loved him! The songs played were awesome. The sound at the reception was good enough to comfortably talk during cocktail time and not overly loud during the dancing. Great sound balance. Fantastic experience! I highly recommend him. Just relax and enjoy the party!

DJ Darrell was amazing at our wedding reception! He seriously exceeded all expectations. Communication before and during our reception was excellent. Price was fair. DJU helped save the day when our venue lost power! Thanks to their battery powered system, we were still able to have music and functional microphones during our ceremony and we were able to have our first dance/parent dances and music as planned during our reception. Since the venue power never came back on, we had to leave early and sadly did not get to have any open floor dancing, but we are confident that if we did, that would have been great too.

A terrific event

DJ Darrell did a great job at our son's and bride's wedding celebration last weekend. He was easy to work with, a real pro, and had some great ideas. Most importantly, Darrell helped make sure that all guests had a great evening. Highly recommend.

Kept the party going!

I had a lot of guests with different tastes in music at my wedding. I put in requests for songs that I wanted played but was especially hoping that our DJ, Darrell, would fill in the gaps in a way that kept the crowd's energy going. Darrell did not disappoint! I think everyone had a great time. DJU struck a good balance between listening to my requests, helping me figure out what I want, and then making smart decisions on the day of. Would certainly recommend!

Plan your event with DJU Entertainment! You won’t be disappointed!

We’ve used DJU Entertainment twice. Once for our daughter’s wedding and more recently for our 50th wedding anniversary.
Darrell Ripley was our DJ both times as well as setting up lighting. Darrell can keep your event on schedule and keep people dancing. He will help your event be fun for everyone.

Wedding Reception Dance

DJU Entertainment provided the DJ for our daughter's wedding reception dinner and dance. Darrell Ripley guided me through the initial process and made helpful suggestions to give us what we wanted. I really appreciated the template that helped us think through the order of the event which helped it flow very smoothly. I want to also mention our DJ who was always cognizant of the sound levels and never once did we have issues with mics feeding back. I highly recommend DJU Entertainment, Darrell Ripley and our DJ for the event - Javi, who made the evening such a special event for our families.

Amazing DJ!

Darrell at DJU Entertainment was amazing! This company was included in our package at Magnolia Bells, and I can see why he is one of their preferred vendors and works with them so often! He has such a positive energy and got everyone out on the dance floor. One of my biggest fears as a bride was having an empty dance floor. Thanks to Darrell, that was definitely not the case! We had a BLAST, and so did our guests! We got to meet him via Zoom during the wedding planning process, so we could discuss what we wanted. I had some pretty specific requests for music, and he met them all! He also added a lot of his own creative expertise. We had the best time at our wedding. Thank you DJU Entertainment and Darrell for helping us create the best memories :)

Amazing DJ!

DJU is awesome! After getting engaged in December 2020, we quickly began looking for music for our May '21 wedding. One of our dear friends highly recommended their close friend, Philip, the owner of DJU. After talking with him, were excited to book with DJU. Well, as it turns out, the wedding venue and package we selected (Magnolia Bells), included DJU as their in-house DJ. BOOM! It was meant to be! Before we even finished paying our second wedding payment, we received an email from Darrell 3 months out informing us he'll be our personal DJ for our BIG day. He also attached 2 song documents to fill out (one for ceremony, one for reception), including song requests for every little detail you could imagine. 2 months out from our wedding, we reviewed the documents and covered each detail for our wedding day. Fast forward to 5.21.21, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Darrell was perfect for our job! Not only did he have great energy and was professional, all our guests had a blast tearing up the dance floor! We'd highly recommend DJU!

Great experience!

DJU entertainment was fantastic! They were super helpful in providing structure/flow to our evening and fine tuning our taste and selections. It was a great variety that transitioned and flowed smoothly (or quickly if needed!) between songs. I also loved that it was a true “DJ” experience with mixing between songs. The DJ also carried natural, high energy and excitement throughout the night that made us and all the guests enjoy our time. They even helped us project a picture slide show with music that provided a very personal feel. Would highly recommend DJU entertainment!

Best. Dj. Ever.

Darrell Ripley was hands down the best DJ/MC ever!! Darrell did such an AMAZING job and everyone loved him. We had a mix of music - he had EVERYONE up dancing and enjoying the party! I even had one friend ask me for Darrell's play list because the music was so good. I found myself hoping for a bad song just so that I could rest from dancing, but the music was so great that you didn't want to stop! I cannot recommend Darrell with DJU enough....he was seriously the best DJ I've ever come across, because we all know that typically everyone thinks the DJ sucks at weddings; however, DJU absolutely killed it with the music and MC skills. Even my mom was worried about us having a DJ, but even she is singing the praises of Darrell now! I would hire him again in an instant. You do not need to look any further for an exceptional DJ. Thank you so much for making our wedding the best one we've ever been to!!

Absolutely amazing!

Darrell with DJU was absolutely amazing. All we wanted was a huge party on the dance floor and he made that happen! He was apart of the package that we had with Magnolia Bells and I don’t think we could’ve found a better DJ if we tried! 10/10 recommend him

Perfect Wedding DJ!

DJU was highly recommended to us from some friends, and they were great! They kept the party going and made sure everything ran smoothly. The Photo Booth was a huge hit and everyone left with copies to take home. The attendant for the booth was super fun and helped everyone take pictures. The lighting was a great touch to the room too! Kyle was our DJ for the afternoon and we could not have asked for anyone better. He was professional and very easy going about some late minute changes we made. Thank you DJU!

DJU held our wedding night together under challenging conditions

Interacted with Darrell by phone and email, was easy. Kyle was on site, and did a fantastic job. He was the main man on the night. There were some issues with the schedule, and Kyle was open minded, smart, and quick thinking, updating and rearranging the schedule per our needs a few minutes before the ceremony. The reception speeches were supposed to last 45 mins, but went on for a couple of hours, and Kyle had to improvise cos my bride wanted us to sing against a backing track that needed amongst other things, mic checks to make sure it sounded right from the first moment..(she wouldn’t let me talk her out of it). I digress, but the point is that Kyle was super nice, super creative, adaptable, and held things together when they could have easily gone wrong easily. Highly recommended. Rob

Darrell was so easy to work with! Our wedding was at Briscoe Manor and he kept in touch and really made this day absolutely perfect. He thought of everything even things I did not even think of for songs. He had everything I needed and if he had a problem finding a song he contacted me immediately to let me know or would find a way to find it. He was such a fun and outgoing guy and we all enjoyed him. He worked so well with my coordinator Jaime who is absolutely fabulous! I love that Darrell came to touch base with me right before the reception started. Joe and DJ Mike are so easy to work with they are both very professional, responsive and flexible. DJ Mike did a very sweet and thoughtful thing, by helping my husband's mom with the games, it was such a nice gesture and much appreciated. He did a great job with adjusting on the fly when we requested some songs that's not on the list. Thank you DJ Mike for making our wedding day a success.

If you're looking for a reliable, upbeat, professional DJ, don't waist your time looking anywhere else!!! These guys have obviously perfected their craft and leave everyone wanting more. Wow what can I say about DJU....Darrell was the most awesome, fun to work with, and true a professional who made our celebration at the Bell Town on 34th the best event of the season. Darrell met all of our needs from the music selection and being a MC. There was not a request he could not handle and the true test of his wonderful craft were our guest; the young and the ones that are young at heart, dancing and enjoying the music for the afternoon. I would recommend Darrell for your event, especially if you want it to be the most memorable centerpiece of your celebration. My wife and I are so happy we chose DJU Entertainment for our wedding. DJ Darrell Ripley did a phenomenal job! He was professional, very responsive to emails, and even spoke with us over the phone and in person to make sure he was capturing our vision for our reception. He had great song recommendations! We had various age groups at our wedding and he played something for everyone! He was an engaging MC and literally kept everyone out on the dance floor for the entire duration of the reception. We could not have asked for a better DJ! We had hired the DJU photo booth as well and it was great! Everyone loved it and now we have the funniest pictures of our guests. DJU also worked really well with our event coordinator, Kelsey Shandley from Belle of the Ball Events. Kelsey and Darrell took care of everything for us and we really were able to sit back and just have fun!

We used DJU through our wedding venue at Madera. Our reception was quite unique in that it didn't follow a classic format since it was multi-cultural wedding. We had two (2) first dances - a Laotian and an American dance. We also had families from Laos and Romania. Our DJ, Steven, rehearsed our script and pronunciation to the tee! He was PERFECT! Even my dad was amazed that he pronounced the names and words correctly - it was definitely a treat and sight to see! We had the option of having a family member emcee in between but Steven nailed it! He is extremely accommodating, flexible, and a complete professional. Recommendation is to pin down your actual DJ for the event to get a feel for personalities - just like all vendors. Thank you for making our day amazing, Steven!! You are so awesome!!

Our wedding took place on 11-11-17 at Magnolia Bells and it was absolutely perfect thanks to all of our incredible vendors, but our DJ definitely stole the show! Darrell Ripley from DJU Productions DJ'd both our ceremony and reception and he did an incredible job! He was friendly, professional and he was so helpful walking us through the day and timeline of events. We told him to to keep the party going ALL NIGHT LONG and he certainly did! Darrell at DJU Productions was recommended to me as the “best in the business”. After having him as the DJ at my wedding, I could not agree more. We had a wedding at Briscoe Manor and used Darrell, and we could not have been happier with our decision. It was clear from the very beginning that he had it all together, and trusting him with all the music was such a great decision. He was very organized and detailed right from the start, and flexible enough to accommodate all of our music requests. My wife wanted a specific time to start the song she was walking down the aisle to, and Darrell worked non-stop with the ushers to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. His demeanor during the reception was outstanding, and he turned the whole place into a big party. Everybody had a wonderful time during the reception, and Darrell's musical selection and timing played a huge part in that. We were able to tell him what we wanted, and not have to worry about it anymore. When planning a wedding, that's all you can ask for.

I knew DJ Darrell from his old days at Uropa so I knew with out a doubt that he could make our wedding reception a blast but I was blown away by his professionalism. It's hard to find someone that can make something so fun but that you can trust with every aspect of your wedding ceremony, dinner and all the way up to the last moments of the show. You can trust Darrell - he was perfect, responsive and on point with everything. He worked closely with our day of wedding coordinator at Hye Meadow Winery Dawn Jackson and between the two of them everything went off exactly as we had hoped and virtually seamlessly. I am sure we were probably picky about timing and music but Darrell's attention to detail was perfect. There was not a thing off cue. Save yourself the drama of working with someone else - Darrell has the gas to kill it when its time to have a good time but he also has the professionalism to own every detail right to the end.

DJU Entertainment and Darrell Ripley were AMAZING to work with. Darrell was easy going and made selecting music a breeze! Before the reception he came out and introduced himself while going over our song selection. Our first dance music was instrumental, and he made sure to confirm that he had the right song. He was even able to change a song at the list minute before we were introduced at the reception! I was very impressed with how thorough he was.

I can't tell you how many compliments we got from friends and family (even my photographer told me he was amazing!). He did a wonderful job at keeping everything on schedule, making sure everyone got on the dance floor, and keeping everyone happy!

I am so thankful that my wedding planner, Shy Masters Clark with Romp Events, found Darrell and made our wedding night unforgettable! They were great, my DJ Kyle was great, he sat down with me and we discussed my music selections and overall expectations and he did a great job for the ceremony and reception music. He handled the unanticipated with ease and did a great job at keeping the party going and stuck to the order of events seamlessly!! Nick was my consultant and he was great too, from the beginning he would meet me at the venue to go over all sorts of lighting options to make the wedding unique and beautiful. He answered every single question I had and was very responsive throughout. On the day of the wedding I had the perfect music and gorgeous lighting and everyone noticed and complimented on it. I had uplights, party lights for the dance floor and they were also projected onto the ceiling for the patterned lighting effect, spot lights and a monogram! While trying to plan out the wedding, one of the details that we forgot was to book a DJ. Literally 2 weeks before the big day, a friend recommended DJU Productions. Considering how last minute our booking was, I was amazed that they were so accommodating. DJU Productions is amazing! They were our DJ for the ceremony and reception and also did strand lighting across our venue's courtyard. Darrell was very responsive and made the whole planning process easy. They were also really flexible when I changed a couple songs the week of the wedding. We didn't meet our DJ until the wedding, but he was wonderful at making announcements and really kept the party going.

DJU was so awesome that I used them for a gala in April for my job. They did uplighting around the ballroom and a patterned light for the stage. Nick was awesome to work with and DJU did a great job for this event too. They were significantly less expensive than many other vendors I researched for DJ services and lighting and their quality of service was outstanding.

DJU provided the lightening for our wedding and "wow" it looked fantastic. Our wedding planner was the one that suggested DJU to us and told us that we needed some "special" lighting for our event. We went along with her advice because it was under our budget but we didn't really see how important the lighting would be for the wedding; but WOW. When we entered our reception space we were blown away the lighting completely changed the room. They did a steel gobo that displayed leaves and branches in amber, green, and mint green. It really turned our reception space into a magical forest which is the image we were going for. The lighting and gobo was absolutely gorgeous and we were so happy we listened to our wedding planner in getting the extra lighting for our wedding. They also provided the scissor lift which was used to hang a grid from the ceiling that had candles hanging from it. They provided delivery, set up and take down services for us and they were very professional. They set up and cleaned up in the time that our venue allotted. If you are on the fence about adding lighting to your event, you should go for it! The lighting can really transform the space and DJU did a fantastic job!

My husband and I got married a little over a week ago and we used DJU Productions for our wedding. It. Was. Phenomenal!!! Darrell was our DJ and he was a perfect fit for us. We booked DJU through Briscoe Manor as a preferred vendor and I am so glad we did! We met with Darrell the week of our wedding and he was very professional and worked out every detail with us in a short 20-30 minute meeting. He gave us suggestions and listened to our requests. The reception went off flawlessly with Darrell! He not only played the perfect music choice for every song but he helped the party go smoothly with his transitioning from entrance, first dance, dinner music, father/daughter and mother/son dances, announced cake cutting, speeches, bouquet toss, garter toss and our exit. He was involved every step of the way. He also suggested an anniversary dance which was such a good add to the party. Our guests were up and dancing all night long, the reception turned into a well-remembered dance party. All of our guests were blown away. Do not use anyone else! Darrell Ripley with DJU was wonderful from start to finish - even drove from Houston out to my venue in Galveston to check the setup for the kind of lighting we'd need well before we contracted. They have a super easy contract - nothing due until the wedding (though you can pay in advance should you choose to), and they were more than happy to sit down with us and go over the "vision" we had in mind for our wedding to make sure they got it just right. Their timeline helped me plan my entire ceremony and reception, and they did music for both, as well as mic'd my pastor and handled the switch between ceremony site and reception ballroom without a hitch. The lighting was perfect and the music was on point the whole entire night! They also had a GREAT photo booth that kept my guests entertained the entire night (my two neices must have taken at least 50 pictures!!).

DJU Productions is well worth the 5 star review - they went above and beyond to provide an easy experience for me and they're expertised showed at the wedding ceremony and reception.

Although my wedding is not for another 7 months, my experience booking with DJU Productions was extremely efficient and easy. I first encountered DJU Productions at the Bridal Extravaganza in Houston where they had the coolest setup! I booked with Kyle and he was very professional and friendly! Plus I received a great deal!

We don't get married for 7 months, but DJU was awesome at the Bridal Extravaganza and they were really easy to book. They've been extremely accommodating so far. The person we've been in contact with, Darrell, has been quick to respond to my numerous emails and has made the DJ portion of our wedding significantly easy.

DJU was soo amazing. They did my wedding ceremony and my reception at Briscoe Manor. We had Darrell as our DJ and we could not be happier about it. He was on top of everything, always making sure we were on the same page and double checking everything. He was a great asset to the reception because he really felt the crowd out and played what they wanted so that was perfect. We also got a photo lounge from them and the guest had a fun time with that. I would definitely recommend them if music is important to you because they will get it right and handle everything for you so you are stress free and can enjoy the night. Also if you can request Darrell because he is awesome =]

DJU Productions Darrell Ripley was an absolute joy to have help me plan my music for my wedding and help me organize the perfect schedule for my reception! Darrell always has a smile on his face and is the man (besides your husband) you want there on your wedding day! I'm such a planner and the day of my brain went to mush....Darrell was there to guide me into each transition beautifully! He played all of my favorite songs and had such great energy! He was there to remind me of what was next and where I needed to go from cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss, dances, to the exit he was so WONDERFUL!

Darrell did an awesome job as our DJ and MC for the wedding. He kept the party going and provided a good mix of country (for my husband) and dance music for all ages. Kyle at DJU coordinated everything and they were very organized and professional. The whole evening was perfect thanks to my Briscoe Manor coordinator Natalie!

Phil was AMAZING!!! He did exactly what we asked- which was to keep the dance floor packed. He stuck with our taste in music and really had a knack for feeling the crowd. He even handled one of our drunk guests cussing him out in a very professionally way. (Drunk uncle that had absolutely no reason to be mad at poor Phil guess that's what happens when you get married at a brewery!!!) My husband and I were mainly focused on spending time with the guest and dancing so Phil knew how to fade out the father/daughter dance, first dance, and mother/son dance nicely. I recommend Phil to anyone having an event where you want people to just party and celebrate. Phil was on point with everything!

AMAZING! Darrell was a hit at the wedding and played every song that we wanted, including Colombian music for my mom's family. He timed the night our perfectly and made sure that everyone, including us, had an amazing night. They were well priced and so easy to work with. They made putting together the music for the night a breeze. Thank you to Darrell and team for making our wedding so much fun!

Planning a wedding is a lot of work, so when you have a vendor make the process easier, it's just such a relief. We had a great experience with DJU at our wedding. The DJ was energetic, kept reminding people of our wedding hashtag and got people on the dance floor. It was perfect!

The first vendor we booked with our wedding planner was Darrell Ripley at DJU Productions! We experienced Darrell's DJ skills at a friend's wedding, and we were very impressed with his mix of music and his ease at keeping the evening casual and fun.

Darrell went above and beyond at our own reception. He touched base with my husband and I as soon as we arrived, and proceeded to flawlessly execute the music and reception proceedings without interrupting our enjoyment of the evening. He truly listens to his clients - I emailed him a list of only 20 songs as a starting point, and he completely grasped the vibe that we were going for.

I highly recommend Darrell and DJU Productions for any wedding or party. Darrell is fun, professional, and will guarantee a great time for you and your guests!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Darrell and DJU Productions!!! From the moment I emailed them with a request to DJ at our wedding, they have been nothing but respectful, prompt, accommodating, and fun!

Before the wedding, Darrell was always there at the drop of a hat to answer any questions, relieve any stress, and organize all information I was throwing at him! He was very thorough in the planning process and accommodated to every request I came up with.

The flow of the wedding was absolute perfection. Darrell was our DJ and I can promise you there was not ONE minute where the dance floor was empty during the reception. He knew how to read the room, played all of our requested songs, but also threw in other AMAZING songs that we forgot to think of! He was fun, yet professional and did such a wonderful job at queuing all of the important events during the reception. We didn't have to worry about a thing - we were able to enjoy every moment of the reception!

We also used DJU Productions for our photo booth and we received raves from our guests! The booth was of great quality, the prints came out immediately and amazing, the attendant was professional and fun, and we received all the proofs within days of the wedding!

I am SO glad we went with DJU Productions to provide the music and photo booth for our wedding reception and I would recommend their services to anyone in the Houston area!!

Choosing DJU Pruductions for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was an easy and high quality decision. Meeting with Darrell was fun, informative and professional. His attention to detail is outstanding, and he set the perfect tone in each, different setting.

While some of the other vendor choices added stress to an already hectic day, we didn't even have to think about the music, crowd flow or format of announcements.

Our friends and family continue to brag about their dance floor move and the romance and love in the air! We are so pleased with Darrell and DJU Productions and can't recommend them highly enough.

Darrell was amazing from the ceremony to the end of the reception. He kept us all dancing till the very last song and everything ran smoothly. I thoroughly recommend using Darrell Ripley with DJU Productions. I enjoyed the proactive planning experience, where i was able to provide a full list of genres and songs ahead of time. He took care of everything and the day-of execution was so perfect from 7p-11p.

Darrell was such a fun and a true professional. Our wedding was small (75 guests inclusive of children) and my husband and I both have families that are not big into dancing. Darrell did his magic and at one point had EVERYONE on the dance floor. Watching my dad dancing the night away was a rare but exciting siting!

Also, in lieu of a Best Man or Maid of Honor speech, my sister decided to sing a song to us instead. This was not previously communicated to Darrell before the wedding, but he was so incredibly understanding and flexible and was able to find the kareoke version of the song in time for the toasts. That moment proved to be the most emotional for me, so I am so grateful he helped make it work flawlessly.

I can't stop thinking of future events within my family or friends that I can highly recommend Darrell to them. It was a whole lot of fun and very little work on my end.

Darrell was awesome!!!! We had a very specific list of songs for each aspect of our ceremony and reception and he nailed it effortlessly. Very responsive to emails and kept in touch until the big day. At the venue we met Darrell and he took the time to ask us if there was anything else we could think of that we wanted to include. He introduced himself to the bridal party and explained what was going on which was a big help. The Best Man's birthday was actually on our wedding day and so we wanted to sing him happy birthday after the speeches. Darrell made sure to incorporate this into the wedding as requested. He stuck to the song sheet extremely well and chose a few songs we hadn't just to get people onto the dance floor. Priced well, responsive, really nice, and made our day awesome. We would recommend Darrell and DJU Productions to anyone looking for a great DJ for their wedding!!!

Our experience with DJU was fabulous. The guidance and service Darrell Ripley provided was exceptional. Darrell kept our guest on their feet and involved in the reception. His enthusiasm was so energizing! DJU was easy to work with and get all our details ironed out and they were able to make a few last minute changes! Our photo booth was a big hit, our attendant was super nice and helped fill up our memory book.

LOVE LOVE LOVE everyone at DJU. They have such a good process to make sure you get everything you need for your big day. They will let you dictate as much or as little as you want. You can give them an exact playlist to follow or a few ideas and let them do their thing! I was super happy with everything. The Photo Booth was an awesome addition, the attendant made sure everyone filled out the guest book we made. They pictures from the booth were great and I had them all ready to download within days of the wedding. I would highly recommend this team for ANY party you need!

Darrell Ripley from DJU provided us with a very special experience from start to finish at our wedding reception at The Wynden. We finalized the order of events (reception format) and music about a week before the wedding, and Darrell came prepared and didn't miss a beat! He was an excellent DJ, and also an amazing emcee! The music and party never stopped once the dancing opened up to all of our guests, and he did a great job of playing older songs (but still incredibly fun) earlier in the night, while switching to more modern pop/dance songs towards the end. I'm sure any DJ from DJU would do a great job, but we highly recommend selecting Darrell if he is available.

Darrell was awesome! He knew how to play the right songs at the right time making it a party when needed and sentimental when needed:) so professional! no shouting weird things at weird times but said the right things at the right time! We used Darrell at DJU productions for our wedding reception and were extremely pleased with his services!! He did SUCH an amazing job as DJ and kept everyone dancing all night long!
